Review Cafe Pesto - Shimla

A cute little cafe at The Mall Road, Shimla with mesmerizing vintage french interiors. Seating capacity is less (8-10 people) but it is well maintained and beautifully designed. The staff too was attentive throughout. No doubt the food was amazing. We had Alfredo pasta and spinach& mushroom flat bread pizza. I would highly recommend Alfredo pasta if you want to curb your Italian cravings. But in my opinion everything was a bit overpriced as per quantity and taste of the food. So, you can just visit someday with your special person, scan for the menu, order your favourite food, and click so many pretty pictures there. Enjoy your tasty Italian overpriced meal.

This café is among the best cafés in Shimla, offering a truly delightful experience. The ambiance of this establishment is simply amazing, and the service is top-notch. Additionally, their serving time is quite fast, allowing you to enjoy your meal without delay. Despite the small size of the café, it is incredibly picturesque, and you'll likely find yourself snapping plenty of photos. The food served here is nothing short of amazing, and I highly recommend paying this café a visit when in Shimla. It's a must-visit spot that will undoubtedly leave you with a positive and memorable impression.

Cafe Pesto is a cosy and charming little cafe located on the mall road. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date or a casual get-together with friends. The food: Their creamy pesto sauce is probably the best in Shimla, and I keep returning for it repeatedly. The portions are generous, and a plate might be enough for two people if you order a side. Most of the other kinds of pasta that I've tried are also great. About their pizzas: one of the best you can have in Shimla (Hollow victory as there are no great pizzas in Shimla) - the cheese is fine, the toppings are fresh, and the sauce is great. Their base, however, could be better - as the sauce and cheese just slip off when you try to grab a slice. I would like an option for a freshly made pizza base instead of what they have now. (or even a possibility for Neopolitan or Genovese if we're lucky) Service: Their service is fast, but your experience may vary depending on the rush. Ambience: Being a very tiny room, it feels cramped if it's at full capacity. Pesto Cafe is cosy and stylish, with a posh Italian cafe decor, but plays 2010's dance music most of the time. (?) But even after my incessant nit-picking I would still suggest everyone in Shimla to visit at least once.

Coziest cafe in Shimla. Tiny space, with around 5/6 tables. But other than that it is just brilliant in everything. We happened to try their pasta with pesto and grilled chicken. Everything there is homemade and fresh and you could taste the freshness in your palate very evidently. The chicken was so juicy and the the sauce was just enough to cover every single bite. But even though I loved their food, ambience and the view, i would like to give special appreciation for their service. It blew my mind. They were very sweet, caring and soft spoken. Overal i am defenitely giving a 5/5. Totally worth every penny.

The location is good since it is on the main mall road. Definitely tough for old people as the stairs are little steep. The space is very less ( but yes efficiently used), enough for 2 or max 3 people as the tables are too small to keep the ordered stuff. Cost wise on the higher side. Quantity is ok. Ambience is good.

This was a beautiful little cafe on the Middle Bazaar. Even with a small space, they've build a beautiful ambience. Seating capacity is less. Food was amazing. We had tacos, veg shawarma, quesadilla and brownie with ice cream. This is a must try.

Outstanding service from the time we walked in the door. The person that found us a table was helpful and had a beautiful nature. Drinks and food the environment was great. My meal tasted amazing, like the food was made with love. Not just from someone who has a job to do, but someone who cares about what they do. Delish. I would recommend this to all...
