Review Tai Wah Chinese Restaurant - Siliguri

Adjacent to main road. 3rd floor of an old building. Looks old and shabby inside but famous. Run for some generations by a family it seems. The crowd favorite wanton chow soup had dumplings and noodle in clear broth and will be good when u add pepper to spice up. It is heavy. Fried pork is authentic, crisp and very well made. Fried Rice is decent.

My grandmother loves this place and she was a very frequent customer in her young days. Me and her recently went to visit the place and have lunch. The staff was a bit under trained but the food was delicious. I recommend it to everyone around the place to visit and have a taste of the food. Adding momo would've been cherry on the cake but other than that all is good.

I had read about Taiwah restaurant, how they still has not changed a bit. It did not disappoint in anyway. It has a classic rustic vibe to it. We were not really for dinner and the place was kind of empty. Service was very quick. We ordered a wonton chow soup, Egg spring roll, chicken chowmein and chilli pork. Although the soup was not salty enough, the wontins were fresh and the noodles were thin and light. Chilli Pork was definitely the star. And chowmin was also very nice . Loved the noodles. Spring rol was crispy on outside and fresh filling inside. It costed around 800 for this.

One of the old restaurants of Siliguri, popular for their Chinese cuisine... It still has that old town vibes... Ample seating arrangements... Good place for spending time with friends and family... Quality of food is good, quantity is reasonable...

A good place to eat among the hustle bustle of the city. This place has maintained its identity over the years. Though the place can do with some long needed dusting but the food makes up for everything. Their portions are good though the service is a bit slow. Regulars always flock to this place as is demonstrated by the people waiting to get a seat even after 15-20 mins. Authentic Indo-chinese at its best.

The place is amazing with peaceful environment...The taste of the food is typical Chinese. Cost and quantity of the food is according to the price. Ambience is also good. Must try wanton soup with Black pepper sprinkles ....it tastes just amazing.

Ate my dinner here on 15th December, being a cold night I had ordered wonton soup and Chilli pork along with it. Wonton soup was freshly made and very nice and hot, perfect for a cold night. The ambience is old Chinese restaurant style, not a fancy restaurant but looking at the restaurant you can guess that it's one of the old Chinese restaurant in Siliguri. Prices are not expensive nor cheap. It's a good place to have lunch with family and have a get together.

Relished a plate of chicken gravy noodles from this popular Chinese restaurant in Siliguri. It's situated exactly opposite to the Hong Kong market and can be easily reached from the Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminal by hiring a Toto for ₹10 only. The food was of acceptable quality & taste. However, I felt that the price was a little higher than expectation. Overall, it was a good experience. 👍🏻

Good place for dinner. Lookwise not like expensive restaurants. But food is tasty and prices are a little on the upper side

My friend took me to a Taiwah Chinese restaurant near Siliguri station. We were returning to Kolkata that night, so we packed two mixed chaomein. Very simple family restaurant but the taste of cooking is great. I understand that the chef who is there is excellent. Within the price, the service seem good. I wanted to come here and dine one day.
