Review Sri Sagar - Siliguri

I first visited this place in 2007, and the place is still as good as it was back then. The veg jaipuri is the best item imo. Kashmiri dum aloo is not upto the mark. The ambience is still good and really crowded by 8pm.

If you are searching for vegetarian restaurant in reasonable pricing then this place could be your option. They serve North Indian food, South Indian food, Chinese food etc. The food which they had served to us was quite good.👍

Food quality and hygiene is very nice and the staffs are also very good.

Sagar is the place for all your delicious food craving, the restaurant is veg restaurant and the food is awesomely tasty, the most recommended here is everything, be it chilly paneer or Dal Makhani or Shree thali everything is perfect, and the quantity is also very filling. highly recommended.

Sagar resturant is very best veg resturant in siliguri located in khalpara,mangtu ram rd,opposite to gandhi maidan, front facing to state bank of india..this is the best resturant that i have gone than others in siliguri awsm food for vegetarian peoples best service is provided by sagar resturant. I ordered paneer and onion pakoda just now, i like paneer pakoda great portion and tasty and dipping was best in over all food, onion pakora was bit disappointing full of besan but quantity was more.So i prefer to have paneer for trial and onion pakora can be more crispy and extra onion in it.Thank you

Taste buds pampering food.. Ordered Rava Dosa and Raj-Kachori to light up the dull and overcast evening. Too good..simply irresistible. I am very particular about what I eat and its difficult to satiate me. This pack from Sagar was impeccable. The kachori was large, tempting and bursting with flavours ..a blend of sweet..tangy..hot-spicy.. topped with fresh yogurt. Dosa too was very tasty as usual..

Ordered something and recieved something else and when I called the restaurant, I recieved continuous negligence from them along with bad attitude and they also disconnected calls multiple times without any conclusion or support AT ALL.<br/>Not only this, I have been visiting this restaurant with my parents since childhood and they still don't seem to improve hospitality till date.

Best north indian food in siliguri....love to have it's yellow daal tadla, veg jhal frezi, paneer and veg jaipuri again and again....awesome food

Had a very bad experience. Food quality was bad and too oily. It looked like road side Chinese food. Although delivery was on time. I was not satisfied with the quality of food at all.

Excellent place for veg lovers. I ordered their Dal makhani, panner butter masala and mixed veg with nan. It tasted fresh and excellent. Would love to keep going their if they ar able to keep up wot the high quality of food and services which they have maintained till now. Today I visit sager restaurant In Khalpara. I order the food. Then when I told them that I will be doing card payment then they told me that they will take 5% extra for card payment. The bill amount was 450/- but they took from me 472/- that means they took from me 22/- extra .So from now on words I will never visit in any sagar restaurant hotel and also I will tell my friends and family members not to visit in this hotel. Today we ordered Papri Chat from Sagar,Khalpara, Siliguri.We are really disappointed to find only potato stuff mixed with curds.The curd quality was also poor.Actually they tried to make Chats but ended no where.Total wastage of time and money.

I ordered masala nan they send it but there wasn't any masala nor extra tarkhari with this, useless recipe don't purchase nan from here. If you want then go for others!!

My experience is always amazing with this restaurant , today I ordered malai kofta it was good in terms of quality and quantity and on my request, they didn't put onions and garlic in it , overall, it is a very good restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I've had my worst meal experience today here. I had a lot of hope and was looking forward to a fulfilling meal. But the only thing fine today was the ambience. With great disappointment I'm having to write this review.<br/>We ordered for 1 dahi vada, 1 tikki chaat, 1 garlic naan, 1 butter naan, 1 kadhai paneer, 2 shikanjis. Dahi vada and tikki chaat were not too bad, though a bit disappointing due to the lack of enough chutney and dahi, which left the inside of both vada and tikki completely dry. Kadhai paneer was a disaster, tasted nothing like kadhai paneer should, and rather like the worst version of paneer I've ever tasted, too much flavour of turmeric and raw onion. We've strictly mentioned to avoid raw onion or its flavour on any dish and yet. When we complained about it, the staff's response seemed quite rude to us. Both naans seemed too thick, dry and a bit raw on the inside. Shikanjis had less flavour of lemon and more of jaljeera. The taste of jaljeera was so strong, it was almost intolerant. With every bite, the food became even more difficult to swallow and we had to leave very disappointed and half stomached.<br/>I'd never recommend anyone to visit here and would never visit this outlet of Sagar again. I have been to other outlets of Sagar and they've never failed to stand up to their standards and demands of their customers. But this outlet is the absolute worst restaurant I've been to yet, undoubtedly.

This place gets a thumbs up for its ambience and pricing. It wont burn a hole in your pocket.<br/><br/>Ordered veg chowmein and manchurian combo and a masala coke.<br/>Asked for less oil & more vegetables which they tried to honour it by putting in more veggies but oil content was still high.<br/><br/>Taste - The noodles as well as the manchurian had a very average taste. Manchurian had too much of salt as well. Well the consistency of gravy was fine but it was very bland.<br/><br/>The masala pepsi was fine. Could have been better if they kept coca cola or thumbs up.<br/><br/>Overall, a decent place for spending some time for a coffee or a snack because the ambience and pricing is just fine but for the whole meal, its a no no.<br/><br/>Update : decreased the rating to two stars after receiving chhole with extremely high oil content and bhature which was completely uncooked from the edges..<br/><br/>

It's a good place, the food is affordable, cheap and really tasty and flavourful. 👌🏼The ambience is good and the staff is welcoming. 10/10 for the food and the services.

We used to be a frequent visitor to Sagar restaurant. Although the restaurant has expanded substantially in terms of menu, it's service leaves lot to be desired. The waiting staff is excruciating slow in taking order, furthermore half of the things written on menu are not served. Sagar needs to improve it's service if it does not want to lose its regular clientele.<br/>
