The food quality at Winterfell Cafe in Srinagar is simply amazing! Each dish was a delight to the taste buds, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. However, I must mention that the service was a bit slow and could use some improvement. The ambiance of the cafe is lovely, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for diners. On the downside, finding the cafe's location can be a bit challenging at times. It would be beneficial if they clearly displayed the cafe name on the main road for better understanding. Despite these minor setbacks, my overall experience at Winterfell Cafe was good. With a few improvements in service and clearer directions, this cafe could become an even better dining destination. Keep up the good work!

Great food, great ambience and great staff with a clean bathroom. We wanted a half veg and half non-veg pizza which was not on the menu and the staff was absolutely willing to make it. “Anything for our customers” they say!

The food quality and service is polite and on par here. There’s a great menu to feast your eyes on along with mock tails, shakes and juices. The restaurant is situated up stairs at one end and the entrance is directly in front of you when your entering from street side. Service is relatively quick. The only downfall is the service charges on top of the bill…

This was probably the best cafe we visited in Srinagar. The Cafe has Game of Thrones theme into it as the name suggests. The Veg Platter and the KitKat oreo shakes was the best. Do check out few chef special dishes. Would love to visit again

Walking down the dal gate, and stumbled upon this cute cafe. Being a fan of game of thrones, I knew I had to step in and take a bite. The pasta, strawberry slush & oreo frappe have to be on your order. The cappucino with fries is a must on a cold day. Do visit this cafe when in Srinagar.

Winterfell cafe offers a high-quality dining experience with a pleasant ambiance that rivals some of the best cafes in metropolitan areas. As a vegetarian, I appreciate how well-maintained the cafe is in terms of controlling non-veg smells that can be off-putting. I highly recommend trying their Mix Sauce Pasta, which comes in a generous quantity suitable for 2-3 people. The staff at Winterfell are knowledgeable, courteous, and well-behaved, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

Awesome food, exceptional hospitality We visited Winterfell as a group of 6 Adults & 6 kids, the place is just awesome. Food is excellent where Mr. Kamran takes special interest to explain and advise based on the patrons interest. Even he offers the shakes to try before you order and make up your mind. Service is fast and staff is very humble. We like it a lot and will recommend anytime

Excellent for a snack or light dinner with their combo offers. Tried their tandoori Shawarma and watermelon 🍉 mojito both which are light and refreshing. Do try their banana and date shake, although I encourage them to add peels of date/ banana pieces. The vibe is laid back and the restroom clean. A good spot to host birthdays! Worth a visit!

Amazing cafe with the theme of Game of Thrones at prime location right opposite to Dal Lake ghat number 5. Perfect ambience for a cafe geek. Food is undoubtedly delicious. Must try lip-smacking burger.

Exceptional food. Everything we ordered was so tasty and it arrived super quick. The owner Kamraan was a pleasure to talk to and the staff was equally responsive. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great meal at Srinagar

Excellent service and variety at winterfell cafe. The service is impressively fast and the quantity is good for the price. The ambience is cosy. We ordered chicken shawarma, pasta and chicken steak with garlic sauce which came with a side of grilled veggies. The shawarma was ok , the steak and pasta were good . All of the mojitos I've tried are good but make sure to ask about the citrus levels , some are highly citrus which i like but may not appeal to everyone.

One of the best place for snacks. I had pizza and chicken steak. Must say both were extremely good and the waiters were very polite. The ambience is very warm n with a theme of Game of thrones. As soon as you enter you can see a very big iron throne and some bar stool with fur. The music the played was also very cool. It’s a must visit if we are at dal lake road. The portion on chicken steak was less. Could load with more veggies.

This is my favourite restaurant in Srinagar. I always end up ordering bbq chicken because I love it so much. The ambience deserves 10/10. The staff is lovely and the food is delicious. Perfect place to hangout with friends and family.

One of the best cafe in Srinagar. It totally justifies its name "Winterfell, Cafe in the north". Based on the theme of Game of Thrones, it has a perfect environment for the fans. The creativity automatically gets boosted when you are here, so if you are interested to be in a zone of your own this is a place for you. Coming to the food, it has a wide range of beverages and food options that are totally out of this world. A must visit place if you are in Srinagar.

Probably the best cafe in Srinagar right now. Have been there number of times and haven't been disappointed even once. Located on the sides of the Famous Dal lake just adds to its resume. Okay, there is alot to mention. But special things first. The host is one hell of a person. The ambience is very nice and even if you are not a Got fan you will still love it. The venue is known for its events, open mics, birthday celebrations, music events etc.<br/><br/>And the most imp one. FOOD. Its awesome and the wait time is very low even when it is full. The beverages are excellent. The price is not heavy on the pocket. The staff is cordial. The at most is cozy the lighting is soft in the eyes. So all in all.<br/><br/>Highly Recommended...

These guys sell the best Alfredo in town 👌 if you are a white sauce pasta lover, then try it there. You'll be loving it. Not only the pasta also their wraps are amazing 👌 the place itself is appreciable

We visited this place in July 2019.. it is a GOT theme based cafe.. very interesting decor and the food was good too.. my daughter loved their ferror rocher shake and their chicken nuggets.. we had walked in for the fish and chips which wasn’t available so that was a disappointment else out of what we ordered, everything was great!

Winterfell is an interesting Game Of Thrones themed café. Situated across the Dal lake, this café is quite cosy and peaceful. GOT fans will have a field day admiring the décor and artefacts on display; not to mention the photo ops everywhere. There are comfortable nooks around the café for one to spend time with friends or just sit by with a good book. And what's more, they also brew amazing coffee!

Visited on an obviously cold January afternoon at around 2. The place was partially closed due to Namaaz but we're let in and have our seats by the heater. It was perfect because we'd anyways taken some time basking in the interiors of this place.<br/><br/>First of all, great work on the ambience. By far the best themed cafe I've been to (I've been to quite a few GoT themed cafes).<br/><br/>Great interiors right from posters, designs, props (there are swords: the needle, the longclaw [should have it detached from the throne though], the throne itself!, night's watch cloak, etc.)<br/><br/>There are all the books and then some to pass the time.<br/><br/>The food is amazing especially the Hot Chocolate.<br/>We ordered pizzas, fries, pasta for a light snack.<br/>Quantities are great and food quality is also nice.<br/><br/>Had a great time. It's a winter noon with freezing weather but what I really wanted is some coffee and a good brownie.<br/><br/>Its a nice comfortable place where you definitely feel cozy and want some alone time to talk and enjoy the time it's the best place to be.<br/><br/>Ambience: Amazingly great. Its welcoming and gives you a feel of western snowfall with a vibe of an expensive English cafe.<br/><br/>Service: The owner was extremely friendly and he is so interesting and it was really nice to hear the story of the cafe.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Coffee : I was craving some hot coffee in the winter noon so this matched my expectations.<br/><br/>Brownie: Super delicious and I adore the taste and a great option to go with the great coffee

A cozy cafe just opposite to Dal lake.  Visited this place during my Kashmir visit in November 2018.  The theme is based on the series Games of Thrones.  The cafe is well lit, the decor is very much inspired by Games of Thrones.  There is a book shelf for readers who love to read.  The owner of the place is a friendly person and happily shares the story of how the cafe came into being.  Do visit this cafe if you are near Dal lake.

The only game of thrones themed cafe in Srinagar. Besides an amazing replica of the iron thrones, the cafe serves some unique drinks which are worth trying. The top on my list include the yuzu popcorn and their oreo mint shake.

Winterfell Cafe<br/>Winterfell cafe is GOT themed cafe and they sure have paid attention to every detail. The book keep tree in corner is a cute addition. The iron throne replica is the USP, you wont leave without clicking a pic on it. Food is tasty, portions and prices are reasonable. Good hangout place. 🙂👻

One of the first Game of Thrones themed based cafe in Kashmir. Surely selling the best beverages in town. Alfredo's are a must for pasta lovers.

Went there at 9 PM as apposed to my plan for 7 PM. Nevertheless the cafe had resoanable amount of people and GOT fans in us were happy.<br/><br/>Cafe was well presented with Iron throne, books and lot or posters. What stuck my attention was the caricatures which was inique and different. Also the owner was happy enough to see people going around to get their pictures clicked. One brownie point for that.<br/><br/>Amongst food we ordered a lamb roast with barbecue sauce which was nice and juicy. Potato wedges which came along with it too was really good. Corn and peas sandwich was reasonably well made. The name Cheese steak looked different but it was like a sandwich too instead of that steak ball. So it was a disappointment. But fries was good. Lasange was decent and presented really well. Wish it was more cheesy.<br/><br/>Among the drinks Pomegranate Mojito was good but virgin mojito wasn't. The latter should have had more coriander flavour in it. Popcorn milkshake was terrific but wonder why it was named so.

If you are a GOT fan then Winterfell Cafe should be on the top of your list. Apart from having GOT theme based interior, their food is super delicious. We visited this cafe 4 times during our stay in Srinagar. We ordered coffee, milkshakes, veg mix sauce pasta, veg sandwiches, french fries & everything was tasty. With the cafe culture growing in the valley only recently , winterfell cafe is one of the best cafes in the valley. It has one of the best interiors and cosy seating with open space. The music playing in the cafe is my favourite as I'm a huge Coldplay fan. Honestly spending time in the cafe makes one feel they aren't in Kashmir. The food served is good with even a better pricing. Huge thumbs up for this cafe.
