Good food with good ambience. Staff was polite and ready to help if need be, went at an off hour so can't say how the service is in rush hours. But overall experience was above average

Loved it so much that we went here twice in a week for dinner. Great ambiance. Courteous, responsive staff. Both the times we dined, food prep time, atleast for the first few dishes, was less than 20mins. Ordered Sopa Di - Mexico Soup, Cheese Cigar rolls, Peri Peri cottage cheese nachos, Grilled Mexican Bruschetta, Ravioli Spinach and Ricotta (pink sauce), handcrafted pide pizza, pana cotta for dessert. What really stood out for me was that unlike many other Italian restaurants in India, they didn't go overboard with cheese. Flavours, preparation and presentation hit the right chord for me. Special mentions: Sopa Di, Grilled Mexican Bruschetta, Ravioli Spinach and Ricotta in pink sauce.

During my layover at Surat, visited this place which is recommended by many websites online. The place has good ambiance, nice hospitality and decent food. We tried Strawberry mint drink , Spaghetti Aglio Olio pepperoncino and Sautéed Peri Peri Cottage cheese. The drink was slightly sweet as per my taste and Spaghetti was drenched a lot in virgin oil with less garlic. Overall I feel it’s a nice place to visit with family and friends.

Fantastic place. Please plan an early visit to enjoy the ambiance and get immersed into the open air. Food - excellent. After a long time it was delicious authentic Italian taste. Ambiance - perfect for a evening. It has Romantic look and family too. People - nice, trained and welcoming. I was promptly seated. Being visited single, I had a cozy place with nice look of the restaurant. I was taken care by Mr. Santosh. HE helped me with the selection to avoid disappointment. Nice chap. Location - no crowdy, huge road. I travelled by Auto, however, seems there is a good parking place. Must visit if you are in Surat, or you are Surati :)

Authentic place to enjoy Mexican food. Try to get suggestions from Manager. They always suggest best and delicious dishes. I always get new and great suggestions from them. Go for this restaurant without any second thought. Must try Tiramisu.

Amongst the best Italian restaurant in the surat. They have welcoming and friendly staff, nice interior and soothing lights which collectively leave you with great open terrace dining experience. It has beautiful seating arrangements, be it a couple or a family dinner, they have proper dine setups for both. When it comes to food, we tried Ravioli and Cilantro Rice, and yes we were very happy with taste, portion and presentation of the dishes. When it comes to pricing point, practically it will cost you around 1200Inr for 2, but it’s worth it. #localguides #surat

The food is undoubtedly authentic and finger licking good. More than that the hospitality of the owner, the manager, the chef and all the staff is commendable. I would recommend everyone to go there once and enjoy the food and the hospitality shown.

Never eat unlimited meal go other restaurant for unlimited pizza because Leonardo give only 5 type of food in unlimited meal when other unlimited pizza restaurant give more than 20 type of food in one third price of Leonardo restaurant

This place is only for elite class and food lovers of surat, such a fabulous experience we had, food was amazing and services was superb. I really want to thank owner, Head chef and entire team for such memorable evening, way to serve Costomer. You guys really raised the bar high in service and quality of the food with zapped presentation. In surat no one is evan close to your place, bravo way to do it......!!!!!!

Visited the place to celebrate anniversary. As expected, it was empty due to Corona. But they had a wedding celebration going on. And it's funny that because of wedding, their staff and service was limited. <br/>The place has good ambience and comfortable seating. Modern and chic. Had ordered a Mexican soup which was spicy. Indianized version. For main course had ordered Tex mex sizzler, which was really good. Amalgamation of tacos, burritos, cheese balls with grilled vegetables and spicy rice. Salsa was provided as side which was more of gravy then salsa. Overall, a decent place with good food with good service (ignore the hiccup due to wedding and Corona situation).

Tried Ratatouille & Lasagna verdure. <br/>Ratatouille was not authentic Italian, but liked it. Lasagna was good but too cheesy.<br/>Quantity was less compared to price. <br/>They also include service charge in bill.<br/>Ambience was staggering, staff was courtcious & very nice.<br/>Overall good experience.

Firstly, I have been to this place a lot of times.<br/>This time I ordered the combo of pasta and spinach balls.<br/>The picture showed white pasta however the pasta was red sauce.<br/>I was disappointed.

Leonardo has been a trailblazer when it comes good food and dining. Apart from the food, the service needs special mention. The captain Alok and biswajit, the waiting staff and everyone make sure that your dining experience is unique.

Good suggestions and service by Mr.Biswajit in both Indian and Italian cuisines. Didn't really expect this quality and taste in Surat. Pleasantly surprised. Keep up the good service. Kudos to the management and the team! 😊

Food quality is good and taste is osm. We take ravioli, quantity is less as compare to price. Another we take Mexican rice and pasta by order in there both quantity and quality is good.

Horrible portion size for deliveries. What they deliver is half the portion size of what they actually serve when you dine in, and yet charge the same.

On a regular day, I'm sure the ambience is really pleasant. But when we went, a large group had a booking so it was bustling with kids shouting and moving around.<br/>The best dish of the night for us was Risotto Milanese. It's a must try!<br/>The Roasted Bell Pepper Soup was also really good! A nice change of pace from the usual tomato or minestrone soups.<br/>The Leonardo Signature Exotic (something like that) pizza was...meh. It was good but not great. I've had better pizzas to be honest.<br/>And the last... The Rosemary Potato Pepperoncino... Ugh. Bland! No taste. I was really disappointed by the server who did not warn us about the blandness of this dish. The menu days "rosemary flavoured" - it's not. The menu says "sauted with garlic" - The garlic was all burnt!<br/>All in all,<br/>2 great dishes, 1 average dish, and 1 bad dish.

For a place that claims to be Italian, it serves half cooked tasteless pizzas that are way too expensive. More suited for rich vegetarian families who need to go to a restaurant bacause of lack of alternative entertainment.

Another restaurant with JUST luring menus nd descriptions!! I wish the food was same as mentioned in menu. Veg enchiladas were ‘Onion’ nd ‘Garlic’ enchiladas. The recipe was disappointing nd tasted very bad. Just the Ambience was mesmerising. Otherwise thumbs down for food.

We wanted to try out some italian food and i have had read some reviews about Leonardo, so we decided to give it a try. Well, thankfully, it was a weekday and there wasn't any rush here.<br/>We were greeted by the staff and we made ourselves comfortable.<br/><br/>The ambience here is elegant & calm, felt relaxing.<br/><br/>We ordered :-<br/>- Nachos with cheese<br/>- Cottage Cheese Sicilian<br/>- Classic Caesar salad<br/>- Gnoccho Basilica<br/><br/>Beginning with the Caesar Salad:- There are lots of variation for this salad. The one we ordered was really flavorful and enjoyable, especially because of the dressing, we liked it. <br/>However, one thing that we felt that it had more proportion of lettuce than other ingredients - black olives, baby tomatoes, croutons. The amount of cheese shaved in it was way too less. Would expect a better proportion of other elements in proportion of lettuce to give it a better texture and flavor profile, else plainly speaking, it would be a 'lettuce' salad with some toppings.<br/><br/>Cottage Cheese Sicilian :- Delicious, one of the best appetiser i had till date. Excellent flavor profile. The Cottage cheese was fresh and the 'sicilian' sauce was excellently made. Loved it. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>Gnoccho Basilica:- Another treat to our taste buds. The Gnocchi was soft and the cheesy sauce backed by Basil was delightful. Initially, we felt that the quantity was a bit less; but as we ate some, the quantity was justified, as it was cheesy enough. LOL.<br/><br/>Overall for FOOD ONLY:- 3.5/5 (Caesar's salad could have been more better in terms of ingredient proportions.)<br/><br/>We had a good time here trying up Italian food. The staff was well trained and took interest in suggesting us dishes and took care in serving, we appreciate it.<br/><br/>Also, One thing that we didnt like was the 'bottled water', there should be option for normal filtered water than just only option of bottled water. I hope the management will take a note of it and do some changes. (removed a star just because of this.)

Genuinely the best Italian food I've ever had. All the dishes were so greatly served and the presentation is amazing. The ambiance gives a royal touch as it's all white. You can clearly taste the dash of indian style in it. Overall it was a good experience and highly recommended if you are in search of good Italian cuisine in Surat.

Can't help gushing about this place. All white interiors and the local italian touch is a bliss. The olive oil bottle, the pepper crusher and the presentation of food is luscious. The cheese fondue and spaghetti aglio olio is a must try. If you have the budget and want to satiate ur italian hunger pangs then this is all you want.<br/>Bon appetit. Gracias

Forget the food, the Air-conditioning isn't working. The restaurant is in poor shape & shabby. The staff is rude when you complain regarding the cooling. And the food is nothing to talk about.

The restaurant is simply over rated and over priced. The food is strictly okayish, not worth the money. The ambience is dull, cutlery is used and faded. We ordered a couple of dishes, the quantity is good and quality is okayish.

It was a lovely day, <br/>My Girlfriend and I didn’t fight, we went for a long drive and spoke about how much we love food and specially Italian cuisine, without thinking about anything else I decided to take her to Leonardo, a “fine” Italian restaurant, she was really happy with the idea that I really took care of thing she craved the 2nd most ;), so I gave her the menu to order and I was looking into her eyes and was lost into the abyss as I always loved her choices as I was one of them, She orders two portions of Spaghetti Zuchinni, nachos, Garlic bread, Mediterranean pizza and ofcourse arabitta pasta, we patiently waited for the food to come and spoke about how we wish to visit Italy some day, everything was perfect but when the food came and we had the first bite of that spaghetti, there was an awkward silence like it was an realisation period of how big of an mistake I did to bring her to this restaurant to eat, nachos tasted like fresh......off the Cornitos packet, her mood was pathetic that she looked at me and questioned me about my choices and as I was angry with the food too, I replied “Don’t question my choices, you are one of them and luckily you aren’t as pathetic as the food at least you are bearable”, she was shocked and she got up without saying anything and she walked away, that was the last time I saw her

This place is so so good <br/><br/>The classic and original Italian food <br/>Bruschetta and garlic bread without cheese fresh spices and herbs and awesome experience overall the drinks are also really nice also there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant

The ambiance of the retaurant was nice. We ordered farmer pizza, potato wedges and tex -mex qusadilla. The pizza was terrible and tasted bitter; worst pizza I have had. The rest of the food we ordered was good. I was alao disappointed when I received my bill as they had charged a service tax of 2% apart from GST. When I pointed out this extra charge, they then deducted the service tax.

Favourite place for tiramisu cake ... Specially because it just melts in your mouth!... The mushrooms n soups are something we specially go there for... Love the ambience in the day or night!

A elite place to have authentic Italian cuisine........Yumm food wid quite atmosphere😊The ambience is really pleasant. From food to service, everything is terrific. We used to love this restaurant but unfortunately experience today has put us off. We didn’t appreciate that we had to pay for mineral water since they have stopped serving regular water, very unlike restaurants in Surat. We had ordered two soups; roasted bell pepper soup was too salty, we informed the server but there was no action taken. We asked them to make sure to check the salt level for other food but next food items were equally high in salt. Rosemary potatoes were deep fried instead of roasted as promised. Even the pizza was quite salty. We were charged double the MRP for cans of Coca Cola, legally that’s not allowed. The manager came to our table at the end of the dinner and we did mention all the issues, he tried to make it ok with serving us a penna cotta dessert on the house. <br/><br/>We won’t be visiting it any more.

Restaurant is overrated . Food is okay . Nothing really extra ordinary . Amazing is amazing .every section of sitting has a different look and thats what makes it nice . Staff is friendly . Kabab platter is nice if you like variety . Sizzler is not that great

There is no supply of regular water, want to drink water, buy a bottle, and the unlimited menu is worst because it is not available for a single person and if you come in group then you can order only one type of appetizer between everyone

First of all they only serve bottled water. I havent seen such a practise in my life.<br/>Second thing .. two of us ordered two unlimited meals which is costly as hell(550 plus tax) and the manager who was not at all courteous tells us that we can order only one type of appetizer between us. He also argued in a very indecent way.<br/>Its not worth it.

Good food, average service<br/><br/><br/>This restaurant is rated very highly for delicious Italian vegetarian cuisine.<br/><br/>I was going in a large group so I had spoken to the manager to create a set menu which would ease the confusion to order & speed up the process.<br/><br/>However, their service was the extreme opposite of quick. Plus when u are doing a tasting menu, you expect each person to receive an individual dish for each food item on the menu. They went around the table serving from a plate & giving guests spoonfuls. Also each course took soo long to come from the kitchen to the table. The server took the drinks order and he himself went to make it at the bar. They didn't even have a bartender. What's more is that the rest of the servers did not know about the set meal & gave a blank look every time we asked for something.<br/><br/>Despite the service, The food was good. Especially the garlic cheese bread which was made on a pizza dough based & their signature leonardo pizza. The broccoli soup was tasty although it did not require breadcrumbs, the paneer on ratatouille was also good, although they served a single big piece of paneer where each guest got only a small morsel.<br/><br/>To end the meal, The hazelnut chocolate mouse was also delightful served with vanilla iceccream asand a great dessert to sample at the restaurant.<br/><br/>If service is not a priority at a restaurant for a meal, then leonardo is a place you can visit. I would not select their option of a set menu and would order a la carte the next time around.<br/><br/>

Went there with my wife on her birthday with her friends.. interesting All white interiors..... Started with mocktails.. which were okay... Rosemary spiced Potates..Rosemary had finished in the kitchen but still ordered it and had a go.. followed it up with some pizza and ended the meal with their special Tiramisu....!! Taste was good (Not excellent). Service was average. Price is very high. Quantity is also very low. Ambiance is very good. So overall value for money is not there.

Came here with colleagues for a treat.. We found appetizers better than pasta better than pizzas. In fact we didnt liked the pizza. Cake was on yhe menu but not available on that day.

Being a fan of Italian and Mexican food this place earns a place in my lfav list! The food is great with lovely staff and service. We ordered a variety of food from both mexican & italian menu! Yes they have two separate menu for both cuisines! The cheese fondue was amazing with more than regular variety of accompaniments, tomato & mushroom soups were simply delicious. Next we ordered pizzas which were only average. Next order was for spaghetti & mexican rice which was obviously at par with the restaurants cuisine! On the downside i would rate the ambience as the white colour theme seems to have become dull due with time! A little pricey though, But for food its a go go!

So I visited this place on a weekday in the noon with my colleagues, we were roughly around 30 people. That's the true test of a good service and they didn't completely fail but weren't up to the mark either. First came the nachos with 3 dips the size of which was so small and it was kept 1 in between 6 people. They kept on serving nachos but when we told them to refill the dips it took them roughly over 15 mins to do so.<br/>Next was the tomato basil soup which was piping hot but a little bland.<br/>Quesadilla was very very dry with barely any cheese and only big chunks of red beans (rajma).. Not worth it. <br/>Pizza was thin crust, good in taste and best of the lot. Pasta was okaish too. Lastly was the Mexican rice which again was very dry and not very impressive.<br/>Apart from the sub standard food what irritated us was the service.. The staff was completely lost. To half people they were serving rice, half were getting pasta, some people were served pasta twice while some were still waiting to get served for the first time. No proper system to deal with such a big group. They kept on bringing things like pasta and rice in small bowls serving it to 3-4 people then running back in again and coming out after 10 mins with the other batch. Half of us were eating while other half were waiting to be served anything. <br/>PS : One of us also found a worm like insect in the food and a small pebblish kinda thing too. We immediately notified the staff for the same and they changed the plate of that person.<br/>All in all highly disappointing experience.

The best Italian restaurant I have ever been. Super amazing ravioli and pizza reminds me of Italy. Even the Mexican section is upto the mark. Highly recommended for the authentic food lovers. The only complaint is they ask you for your birthday and anniversary details every time you visit but it's of no use.

Beautiful ambience on white colour theme. Serves delicious food. It's all about pizza when you go to an Italian restaurant and Leonardo reaches up to your expectations. Pasta was very authentic that you wouldn't have anywhere in the city. Tiramisu was mouthwatering indeed.

Let me start by saying that I went in there with high expectations. The staff was courteous. Fried ravioli was decent. But the garlic bread and pizza? Nyc's $1 a slice pizza is way better than what I had. Worst garlic bread I've ever had! Period. The only thing I liked was Enchiladas. I have a weakness for this place.. I love their food especially their Vegetable Quiche and the wide range of Pastas but anything that you eat here you are sure to love it. Pizzas are to die for - so very fresh and crispy! It has a cozy, elegant and classy, so very Italian ambiance.<br/><br/>The staff is quiet attentive and friendly. This place definitely deserves a visit.<br/><br/>P.S Don't forget to call for TIRAMISU!!

Yesterday I visited this place.After our dissertation work submission our professor took us at leonardo for giving treat.I literally have no words to describe such awesome place is this.I was not a fan of italian food ,(may be I never tried authentic italian food)<br/>but after eating here I have become lover of italian food.They have amazing ,courteous,friendly staff. You can see on their face that they are enjoying to serve you. They know how to take care of customers.one of the members of their staff-Basanta, he made our day. prices are heavy on your pocket ,but they justified it by their service and quality.I am giving 4.5 only because of some items in menu were not available and service was little bit slow.but still they won my heart.I will definately visit again with family.

I have visited Leonardo on quite a few occasions and it's my favorite place in Surat for Italian cuisine. The ambience is decent, service is great and a special mention for the very helpful manager. <br/><br/>- Spiedeno Ripiene : Absolutely must-have! Pre-order it, it needs some preparation time. Superb appetizer. <br/><br/>- Pesto Pizza : Not in the menu but they will make it for you. Top it up with sundried tomatoes, black olives, goat's cheese. (Wish they had rockets) <br/><br/>- Gnocchi Genovese : So glad you can have great Gnocchi in Surat! <br/><br/>Tiramisu and Chocolate mousse are also worth having. <br/><br/>First couple of times I found the food quite cheesy (when they had just opened up), almost killing the taste though they use Gorgonzola. But they seem to have corrected it and it stays on the top of my list for Italian food in Surat.

Good ambience... I went there once and they had some musical event going on. A man was playing piano and humming old hindi songs. Really soothing and refreshing experience. It is definitely a good visit with family and with your special someone.

We booked a private table and the manager got it decorated with candles and rose petals all over, just how one would wish for!<br/><br/>What we ordered: Champagne, Leonardo Special Cheesy Nachos, Margarita Pizza and Tiramisu Cake<br/><br/>We started over the date with a perfect pour of champagne followed by dinner and a complimentary drink.<br/><br/>Tiramisu Cake came to my rescue when I wanted to embark a ring in it to present it to my fiance.<br/><br/>Apologies for I couldn't click many pictures.<br/><br/>Thankyou so much for an amazing memory. Apart from the real fact that the place is expensive the Italian food treats ur taste buds... it's all together a small trip to Italy all uh need to do is go here ! Pastas are worth a try.....

This restaurant serves best Italian Mexican food in the town. We had pesto pasta which are homely made pasta.. Their Rome style pizza were very yummy. <br/>Today we tried new dish named potato rossti with mushroom sauce which was very yummy.. <br/>I will always give 5 star to this restaurant.. very friendly staff.. I had been to this restaurant 2-3 times while in Surat. In spite of all those good reviews here, the food quality which I was served during my visits was not up to the mark. During my last visit, we ordered a large pizza, and when it came, it was so oozing with some strange smell that we decided not to eat it altogether after the first few bites. However, I found the staff and the overall management was good and trying to improve the guest experience.

When I first visited this place, I was shocked to see the variety in the menu.I dint expect an Italian restaurant in Surat to have such authentic taste.<br/>Their aglio olio is and pesto pizza are a must try for people looking for authentic Italian taste.

Leonardo has been one of my favourite restaurants in town. It has the best authentic Italian food. What I loved about this place was their staff and their team. They were all smiling and serving as if they are really enjoying their job. The pizza, pasta and the starters were awesome. The tiramisu was to die for. Everyone should definitely visit this restaurant if they like good Italian food.

Simply the best Italian restaurant in Surat. The pastas are just awesome. My fav being Penne Bianca Paprika-Must try. Even Mexican is awesome. Those nachos with cheese ;-)

Me and my sister visited this place for lunch.<br/>Ambiance is good, perfect. I think they can work on lightings or maybe it was because of afternoon.. night time will be better I guess.<br/>We ordered lasagne and tacos. Tacos was good, wasn't spicy but taste wise good, stuffed with paneer and cheese. Lasagne was little raw but it was compensated by thick sauce.<br/>The thing i liked was olive oil served in a jar before us. It added a different taste to the food.<br/>Everyone around was ordering pizzas..will try it on my next visit

When you want some real authentic Italian food, this is the place to come. It has the tastiest range of food and they have transparent kitchens so you can inspect the hygiene of the kitchen. It has great ambience. A must go place.

A place with a real fine-dine experience which is kind of rare in Surat. Its the one of its kind restaurant serving authentic Italian food. Best Italian food ever in the city. Ravioli, pink sauce spaghetti must be given a try. Excellent service and hospitality! A little over priced but a place to not miss for sure.

Had been there a year ago when we didn't like the food. Quantity was also very less but this time after a year we ordered their food again and it was YUMMM!!! <br/>Leonardo's signature pizza, risotto, white pasta, enchilada. Everything was simply superb and quantity was really good. Service was fast. Really enjoyed our lunch!

Being a traveller in the new city and landing at Leonardo was a great experience of my life. It's ambience is exceptional and the hospitality shown by the restaurant staff is great. Not only this but Leonardo's servicing is also prompt and serves authentic Italian food.

The ambience is great.The restaurant staff is also well mannered ,attentive and courteous.The service is also prompt.This restaurant is the closest authentic italian food i tasted in this vicinity.The starters here are a mix....i have been to this place more than thrice and every time we go for different starters....The mushroom starters are really nice..a must try...the only starter we didnt like much was the jalepeno sticks as it was really bland in taste..Now for the mains...we tried white sauce and pi k sauce pasta's...the white sauce paste tastes goood while the pi k sauce was average...The mocktails here are okayish as they all taste pretty much the same....they just have fancy names... !! All in all a nice place to hangout for italian food....would surely visit again ! :)
