Pathetic taste. First order soup cheesy garlic ordinary taste. Kaju paneer ki seek has average tase. Then Ordered enchiladas special. They have mentioned exotic veggies and no there was no vegetables in it. When I asked manager which vegetables are there? He didn't even know and certainly not able to explain about dishes. When food came there are no vegetables in it. After I ordered paneer sabji. No extra ordinary taste at all. I would recommend to go other restaurant which at least has good taste and manager can explain about the dishes. A good taste is always better than great ambience.

Awesome food. Awesome environment. Overall great service by waiters. It was my 3rd visit in less than 2 months. I will certainly recommend. Btw, The person who took the order was looking nervous and afraid. I thank the staff for looking after us.

In Terms Of Hospitality They are big zero and very rude we had order full main course menu and asked for Some Cheese form my 2 Years Old Daughter they refused after that they give a very rude reply that we will charge extra. Ridiculous! We were ready to pay extra for there cheese which according to them was a big deal for a small child no manners and humanity left in this restaurants. Special Msg To the Owner train your staff and team to be humble and gentle.<br/>Very very disppointed

Food is completely overpriced based on services. Service is not good. Food is terrible. I don’t like single item in restaurant except mineral water. In Indian restaurant, taste is key, and if the taste is good everything is accepted, we can put service aside, but, missing key element a taste in this restaurant.

We have visited this place for lunch.The ambiance is very good, large dining place. We had amritsari paneer  bhurji , daal fry and plain tandoori roti. Food was awesome. very well cooked and tasted perfect.They served interesting "Paan shots" at the end. It was good experience.

This place was on my list since the time we visited surat for our trip. We had been to this place on Thursday night and to our surprise they were packed. The ambience is very pleasant and very good fine dine place.<br/>The service is bit slow but the food is too good. We had order for Manchow soup which was delicious as well as veg lollipop. For main course we had Panner Lazeez and Naan (verysoft).

It's a slightly more complicated version of pasta as one needs to cook the ravioli to perfection or else it messes up the entire dish and that's where good restaurants wins your heart by making such a challenging dish to perfection. Their ravioli was perfectly stuffed not over sized or undersized and cooked to perfection and the sauce was nothing less then mesmerizing, it had creamy texture and perfect blend of herbs.<br/><br/>Thai rice:<br/><br/>We are huge fans of Thai curry but we opted for Thai rice this time and again the rice were cooked so well, not at all over cooked or mushy and that pungent flavour of lemon grass sweeps you off your feet with the first bite. Black pepper at surat is just one of the best dining restaurant! We had visited this place around thrice in a week ! North indian food is heaven ! The hot chocolate brownie was also great! And at the end of the meal you get a complimentary paan shot! That’s also tastes 👌🏻

A huge sitting arrangement with different number of groups so perfect place for big crew. Punjabi taste is best. Chinese is good but you not look any new things in it. All over food experience is best and you got supportive staff.

The restaurant is one of my favourites, the food served is great, it is a good option for any kind of crowd, you can come as a family or a group of friends or even organise an official kind of a get together, almost all the dishes on the menu are at least worth trying once.

I went there for family dinner. Ambiance being lovely, my expectations increased. I loved the variety in the menu. The food was tasty and delicious. What was supposed to be a quick Indian lunch in Surat(since we had a train to catch), brought us to Black Pepper. On reading previous reviews, we had apprehensions of slow service there but these were immediately set to rest on the assurance and resulting action of the manager and servers. Except for the bill which took some time to come, everything else was quick and food was served, hot and nice, on our table.<br/><br/>We enjoyed the Pudina rotis and the basic tandoori rotis with Veg Kolhapuri and Malai kofta. Hakka noodles ordered for the kids was also quite good. The Pan shots served at the end was very refreshing.<br/><br/>A special mention of the cozy and comfortable ambience at Black Pepper which makes it a great place to dine with family and friends. Definitely worth going back!

Visiting Black pepper is satisfaction guaranteed. The first thing to try over there is their Chudha Papad it has it’s own classic way of fried and crispy pieces of papad served with some butter and Red chilli powder as a topping which give’s the papad a good crispiness with some spice. Spicy noodle soup is a great catch up for spicy food lovers. Overall food menu is great and has variety of vegetarian dishes. Not compromising on food quality has alway’s been the best part of their game.

Looking at the crowd we thought of ordering for main course also... So after we 10 mins another guy took our main course order... It's located in one of the poshest business centres, so obviously it had to attract creamy layer of Surat. Fine dining experience with your family, it's a good one for the occasions. I went with my friends, so we were 25 odd and on a Sunday (so the waiters had a hell of a handling but they did good).<br/><br/>Ordered the Cheese Garlic soup, Quesadillas, Paneer Rogan Josh and the usual Dal Tadka and rice.<br/><br/>Rogan Josh was the best followed by the soup. From the inauguration of International Business Centre- Surat. Black Pepper is the only resturant which has never been changed. There are reasons behind it and it is only Because it has good ambience it has good food it has good taste and it has good service. Though the ambience is awesome, you are fooled by it!! The food is totally the opposite. We had ordered Chinese cuisine for starters and main course and we were in for a surprise. First of all neither did it look Chinese nor did it taste Chinese. Secondly, the quantity served was sufficient for only one person. Laccha paranthas were given kaccha it was not at all upto the mark of the restaurant. Dal makhani was very okish not so great as people commented. <br/>Please Surat this is not one of the best. It's an average restaurant I don't know why people have hyped it so much that the prices are also hyped. The manager got rude when he was told by one of my relative that the laccha paranthas are kaccha. And also though there was only one Jain sabzi yet the waiter served the non Jain sabzi to the Jain relatives saying it's non Jain only. I mean please that's really heights. Seriously even on weekday the restaurant was running full and so they served us the food late. The atmosphere was pretty cool and nice in there. I went with my family. Me and my parents had 'broccoli and almond' soup which was pretty nice but only suggested to people who preferred bland taste soup. My grandparents had Jain 'lemon corridor' soup which was tasty. Then in staters we ordered 'panner ajwaini kebab' that was also bland in taste and was actually 'panner bhajiya' and I didn't really like it. I also ordered a 'lemon mojito' which was tangy and sweet and tasted really nice. In main course me and my parents had 'enchilada special' which had the typical Indian red gravy taste and didn't tasted at all like actual mexican enchiladas and we also had 'bruschetta' which was also with a twist and had cheese over it which tasted like kind of Indian bruschetta. My grandparents had Indian main cause which included 'sabjee falguni' 'methi roti' and 'phunida roti' which tasted pretty nice. Overall I didn't like it much but only the beverage was very nice.

The food and service both were disgusting. Believing the ratings here on Zomato, I and my friends visited this restuarant but felt disappointed. The staff didn't behave properly.

They make food "tasty" by adding ghee and excessive salt. I would gladly miss out on indian food here. Thankfully, saving grace is Chinese and Continental food. Would come back for Continental food anytime.

Every time you visit the place, you fall in love with it again ! A perfect place for a family dinner. The place is a bit crowded but that is one positive thing that showcases the quality and taste of food they serve !

A decent place for veggies. Good ambience, live music on Saturday nights. What stands out in the menu here is it's Cheese Fondue which is a must try.

We went here to celebrate my friendz birthday. Amazing place with great ambience, staff and food. There deserts are really yummy so must have. I have tried this restaurant many times and they always made best of dishes.

Starting from food, the taste was average still lots of items in menu to choose from. The interior of the restaurant was good. The service was again average.<br/>Price was not high as they have shown on zomato.<br/>So once a visit type restaurant.

Pretty good restaurant. Decent taste and decor is nice. Ambience you should not expect way too high but simple and typical. Food quality and presentation is somewhere between average and good. Rest you could comment after you visit there.
