Review Taste Of Bhagwati - Surat

Expect another update soon from me when I will dine in here because today I took a parcel. So items were good in taste and they were all so clean. Packaging was good too but south indian items turn chewy so we didn’t enjoy at much but yes taste was good. Would love to visit personally. I love the hospitality too.

Tea I had here is excellent, strong, well prepared, sugar according to my taste. Ambiance is superb. If you really want to spend time with your 😍 loved ones like people in Mumbai do, then this one is ideal place.

Personally love the mild flavour and authentic south touch of restaurant 🍛 not crowed most of the time so no rush 😌 If you are used to eat masoor indian dosa like all Gujarati eat then you don’t like it 😅 or else you can try Idiyappam, and payasam 🤤😋

We went for family dinner and we tried Madurai Sandwich uttapam, Keerai cheese garlic dosa, ullandai vadai, keerai vadai, spring dosa, chettinad idli, chef special Rasam and all of these had very authentic taste and nice serving. For drinks, we had kokam mojito, filter coffee and cold coffee- they were very refreshing. For dessert, we devoured coconut tango, payasam and pineapple kesar halva - it was so delicious. Ambience is very cosy. I'd love to visit again to satiate my taste buds with more South Indian delicacies in future. 😁🎉😋 Ps- the food was too good that I forgot to click many yummy pictures ;)

Tried coconut Tango in dessert , awesome taste.. coconut cream, coconut milk, tender coconut malai served in a coconut Bowl 🥥. Must try this dish. We had That Idli , Mysore masala dosa, mix uttapam with cheese and Rasam Rice. The taste of all the dishes served here are tasty.Friendly staffs. Must visit the outlet in Ghod Dod Road.

Great ambience and great food at taste of bhagwati restaurant. The inner aesthetics are really great and so is the food. The live kitchen shows how the food is hygienic and great ! I came down here on a Sunday for lunch and the place wasn't so crowded so turns out to be an ideal choice to beat the crowd to a great time!

Amazing Restaurant…. I will like to say out people who are reading this, I will like to say this Restaurant can be on my top 5 priority list in surat i must visit place if U are around it. Specially the Pizza’s they make are way to special N better then other Pizza chain brands too !!

Well large menu..not much familiar with all items.. But if you it traditional masala dhosa, and other dhosa it is better.. And coconut tango must try taste like heaven... Suparb...

a bit expensive but very good taste. offered a very bland paan in the end. they give 10% cashback too which you can use on next meal.

Very upset with service..i ordered one paneer combo n dal makhni combo in the morning but received onlt dal n paneer box.. No chapati n laccha paratha n chaas with it<br/>On complaning 4 chapati were only sent again no chaas n laccha paratha which were supposed to be with combo

The pizzas and sandwich place for sure. Perfect place for special occasions. Really loved the atmosphere, food and service. The crust of pizza is way better than that of pizza hut or dominos.

Only 1 word comes to my mind while describing TOB- Superb. The taste unmatched and the service worldclass. They know what they are up against. Full marks for working in out to every detail.

Very good pizzas and burgers. Atmosphere too good and so was the service. Overall a value for money place. The only issue was the cleaniness. May be due to monsoons.

It's a good place with great ambience, they have good variance in their menu, it's a must try place.<br/>Their soups are best to try, and the chat also.

I have ordered soup, rolls in starter, lasange italian item<br/>And jira rice- daal fry..soup( lemon corriender ) was authentic, lasange also delicious and quantity wise also good..jira rice and daal fry yummy..i have not try any sweet but there is good variety of sweets also..

We had the worst food here.<br/>The service was also worst.<br/>It's better to eat on roadside the here.<br/>They drowned the name of bhagwati.<br/>It was worst experience of our life.

Food was blended nicely, none of flavour dominated. Just pricing is bit on higher side comparing to portion served. Still do recommend to try once.

Taste of Bhagwati is a fine restaurant located on Ghod Dod Road in Surat. It is quiet, peaceful and secluded inspite of it being on one of the busiest roads in Surat. With a variety of dishes in the menu ranging from Continental, Indian & Oriental it provides the best food with a reasonable price.<br/>With a simple interior it manages to impress all customers who come and go.<br/>Above that, it has a very polite and friendly staff who give the best advice when it comes to choosing your dish.<br/>With the guidance of the staff I ordered 3 continental dishes<br/>1) Cilantro Rice with Paneer Tikka Masala<br/>This dish will manage to fulfil all the desires which your taste buds crave. With just the right amount of spices and oil it manages to delight the foodie.<br/>2) Teri Meri Teriyaki<br/>This dish was a rice bowl with rice mixed in brown Chinese curry. It tasted satisfactory. It wasn't as good as the remaining dishes.<br/>3) Triple Schezwan Noodles<br/>The best for the last. This was the best dish among the food that I had ordered from the restaurant. At the first step inside, the breeze of posh hit me and I started expectations. The menu was long. Though it was elaborative but by the last page one would easily get bored. I tried Corn Cheese Balls, Alfedo Pasta, Continental Sizzler, Super Cheesy Puff Pizza and Desi Lasagne here. Most of these were ordinary but what caught my tastebuds was desi lasagne and pasta in continental sizzler. It was rich and mouthsmacking. Staff behavior was good. They were also polite and cooperative. They had a bit of hard time to pronounce lasagne. But jokes aside, they were really good. Prep time was a bit long. But not long enough to get oneself bored. I was in surat for a friends wedding when we dropped in for lunch here..the ambience is decent..<br/><br/>We ordered a Thukpa soup, Mexican Tortilla soup, Paneer tikka, a kebab, terrific nachos, aap ki pasand pizza, a tandoori sizzler..<br/><br/>The thukpa and mexican tortilla soups were good..<br/><br/>Paneer tikka was decent..paneer was fresh and soft..<br/><br/>The kebab(dont remember the name) was pretty much like a hara bhara kebab and was decent to taste..<br/><br/>The aap ki pasand pizza was not to our liking inspite of having choice of toppings..the cheese tasted weird too..<br/><br/>The terrific nachos were decent..<br/><br/>The sizzler had all the tandoori items like aloo, paneer tikka, seekh kebab etc. Taste of rice was okayish..tandoori items were decent..<br/><br/>Service was kinda slow in an empty restro..our mexican soup arrived after starters..

This is one place that certainly caught my eye when I moved to Surat. One of those fancy Indian restaurants that serve contemporary Indian cuisine as well as has great continental dishes on offer. Over the past 2 years I have visited this place countless times, ordered food from this place multiple times and honestly speaking, although not every dish is memorable but it hasn't been bad as well, I definitely have some sweet memories of this place. I'll try and recollect some of things I've had which I think are worth eating, without fail!<br/>- Chole Bhature<br/>- Steamed Paneer Bao<br/>- Chef Special Khichdi<br/>- Royal Thali<br/>- Mexican Tortilla Soup<br/>There are many more that I've had but those have been with people or big gatherings so never really focused on the food.<br/>This place is definite must visit in Surat, it's got multiple locations, it's tasty, wholesome, hygienic just what I prefer when I want some good food.

Sorry but no star... We ordered kitkat shake- like they have added kitkat bites in milk only.. So horrible. Sweet corn soup-soup is only water and vegetables without taste... So horrible.. Only pizza is average and last sizzling brownie-didn't eat that kind of horror brownie anywhere... So again horrible... Means naam bade aur darshan chote

Only thing you d think after going there the first time is, why dint I go sooner. Best place for lunching. Pizza and Bruchetta are icing on the cake.

I ordered Royal thali.. But d service and food was highly disappointed. Dey promised and showed something while delivered very poor quality and d rotis were al burnt.. D dal and papad ki chree git mixed..it was patethetic experience..<br/><br/>

Bad service, cold food, too high price and very less quantity. Too crowdy place. It was like cafe become a restaurant.Roti was half cooked,subji quantity is like you are ordering fix thali on ala carte.It was not enough for 3 person.Will never go to this restaurant.

It is all about high price ,ok quality and low quantity.Today i visited this place,it is over crowded.Staff was not able to handle guest.We got our glasses of water after 25 mins.Food was not hot,everybody was shouting there for their customer service.In small place if even 4 table get the sizzler than place become too smoky and unbreathable.Same thing happened.For 2 people you have to order 3 subji because they are serving in a small bowl which hardly contain 150 to 175gm of subji with price of 250+. Taste was ok.I would rather avoid this place in future and go to some normal hotel where spending also matches with customer expectations.You may see photo here so you can find the quantity of subji.

The quality of food was excellent but too spicy for even Indian. For foreigners it is impossible to eat. Excellent packing. Paratha was cold by the time it reached my home

Visited the restaurant in mid September during lunch hours. Trued pani puri shots, dahi papadi chat,delhi vale mutter kulche and palak paneer with roti.. presentation of each dish is unique i have not seen anywhere else in surat(Check photos). The taste is awesome you can feel the quality of ingredients. Must try delhi vale mutter kulche.. restaurant ambience is also fair enough. However seating table are too small for dinner or lunch. Rotis are not upto the mark. Otherwise a must visit place as vivid varieties offered by them. <br/>Must try- 1. Delhi ke Patile vale mutter kulche

Great place for lunch. Their signature tiffin is worthy and includes variety of items all delicious. Also tried chole bhature, lasagne and oreo shake everything was good.

This small restaurant, is a good quiet place without much hustle.The ambiance is different every time,so very hard to rate that.Can be better!<br/>Staff is polite, which is hard to find in the city.For me this defines, of what the place is all about, next to FOOD. Obviously!<br/>For food, I had Raj kachori which was refreshing.Its a ten on ten in terms of both price and taste.We also ordered a Poora Tempura rice, which was equally tasty when I had at the restaurant the first time.The only problem when I got it parcelled was,the quantity and less veggies.<br/>I haven't really had the whole menu to myself, but I like the vibe of the place.

Good food. Good ambience. Good rates. Quality is not at all compromised and nor in quantity. <br/>Tried punjabi samosa, fried rice, and their summer special watermelon bruschetta. It was yum. Definitely a place to visit with family and friends.

Ambiance is good. service is good but as we visited on sunday it was slow as expected. Food taste is also above average level.  Needs to improve on food taste a bit. For example there is lot many more ingredients like cashew, grapes  added in Amrtisari Kulcha that should be avoided. Food presentation is very good.

So.. this place is a big no for food. The reason for a 2 is the sweets and pastries here. <br/><br/>So we started with Hakka noodles which were totally bland. And they were a bit raw (uncooked) <br/><br/>Then the garlic bread was good but if they could just put less cheese on it. <br/><br/>Then there was sev puri and samosa chat which were not really nice. <br/><br/>The chole bhature was theee worst not taste in the chole. Totally bland even after adding salt and lemon. So yeah <br/><br/>The best thing here was the Swiss potato rosti. Try it if you go there. <br/><br/>All in all I won’t recommend this for dinner but breakfast options here were pretty cool. <br/><br/>The service was very fast. why wouldn’t it be the food was absolutely rubbish..........oops sorry for being rude. <br/><br/>The water here was very fresh, like the served it in a old fashioned buckle bottle with a strand (if that’s what it’s called) of puddina in it<br/><br/>That’s about it <br/><br/>Byeeee

Good food. Good ambience. Overall a good variety on the menu. The freakshakes were a disappointment though. Staff was courteous and attentive. The service was as quick as it could have been on a weekend.

Very poor service. Bad food. Not at all value for money. Disappointed. Waiter forgot to place one item in our order. He did not take it seriously nor did he apologized.

Quantity is too less and taste of food isn't what it should be. Needs improvement. It should keep up its brand name. It wasn't what we thought it to be.

The worst restaurant I have visited till date ! <br/>Small chairs and tables, feeling suffocated sitting on the table , I have to move aside for waiters so that they can serve food , we have ordered soup which was as much as I can pour in a small katori, paneer from oven and manchurian which was total of 6 and 9 tiny piece respectively, I mean r u serious ! Main course order would be again punjabi for which I have asked how many person can eat from one portion, the answer was 3 person , I was okay with that but when it arrived it the quantity was so much that I was feeling like eating roti with chutney, they are trying to serve Indian food with continental taste which is worthless , why would I go there if I want to have continental taste ! And the cheatercock staff after deducting all the cgst, sgst, didn't care to give 6rs( I know it's a small amount ) and asked "Jane do na 6rs hi to hai ?" Which they gave after long argument. The amount I paid for the food was totally unworthy! I know scientific research for food appetite , that how much some one would eat , but boss being in Surat you failed completely to understand the TASTE OF SURAT !
