Review Geetha Restaurant - Surat

The restaurant is usually very busy and hence not a great choice to have a quiet meal. The service was very fast, seemed like they wanted to get us out of there as fast as they can so that they can get the next customers in. The food was very good though. We got manchow soup for starters and mushroom kali mari with some rotis for the main course. Also got to try their garlic naans, which was perfect. I was obsessed with it, it was delicious. Service was excellent too, they checked in on us multiple times and made sure that we had everything handed to us fast enough. The price is also apt I believe. I forgot to click the pictures of the food😂 but got the picture of the restaurant.

Best place to go with family and friends for lunch and dinner as well some of the dishes are only serve in dinner.

I visited Geetha Restaurant and ordered South Indian . The food was average in terms of taste, quality and presentation. The service was good. The atmosphere was little bit noisy due havvy traffic. The cleanliness was decent . The price was little high compare to nearby restaurants . I would rate this restaurant 4out of 5. I would recommend this restaurant to others or visit again. 1 star cut for the order timings

We are regular visitors and we have been visiting them since a decade… this is a perfect Multi cuisine where you find punjabi Chinese chaat South Indian and fast food. The food is awesome and the service is fastest. Prices are also very reasonable. The staff is also well trained. Awesome place to eat fine and hygienic food

one of the finest restaurant in surat. must go there and try all food. they have special dish named cheese begam bar punjabi sabji you should try atleast one time. they serve all food like punjabi chiense pav bhaji panipuri and all. love the food of this place price is average. must go and must try.

I'm from Mumbai I visited this place when I was in Surat for a business trip. I visited this place with my family. The hotel has a beautiful ambience and is very clean and has good staff. The most important thing I was astonished with was the bill amount it costed me just below 1k for a dinner of 5. I wish we had such affordable hotels in Mumbai.

Good South Indian food.. although food was not hot.. Delhi chaat and Raj kachori must try.. cold coffee was not good at all.. service was slow

A perfect family restaurant with wide varities of cuisine - from south indian to chaat and sandwiches. I was surprised to find mango dolly and ice candies on their menu. Waiting period can be pretty challenging during rush hours. But as restaurant is of three floors you won't have to wait for long. Satisfactory service and ambience.

Because of its fame, it remains crowded most of time specially after 7pm. Food taste and presentation is ok not very luxurious. Definitely Pocket friendly. Paradise for medium budget veg food lovers.

Great food good prices great place to come with friends and family hygienic place and good food in taste as well as aesthetics . Only reason for giving 4 stars is the slow service, not all menu is available throughout the day and was served after 1/2 hour of ordering but rest assured it's great for outings and spending time with lived ones 👌🏻

It sure was an excellent experience and had a full stomach with difficulty to move around, but it was tasty enough, only we ordered way too much as we were unaware of the combo quantity. Can't blame staff as we were actually confident and didn't ask his suggestion. One set roti+channa with few additional roti was enough for the two of us, but we ordered one each and that was way too much.

As the name suggest , the restaurant gives you a complete retro indian restaurant feeling with all of its simplicity. <br/>What i like about this restaurant is , it is more of a quick service restaurant then the fine dine type . Your food gets ready real quick and the taste is also good.The prices are not charged highly and you will get the value of money at this restaurant.

Friends the place is quite a happening one usually crowded with families but for sure you can have some good food there with a very good staff response and service considering the waiting time would be worth for the value for money they give and they have adequate sitting space as well along side

Affordable price and great ambience and good quality food. The food is really worth at the normal range and hygiene is given first preference here and the price of noodles below was about 160rs :)

I came here for lunch with my friends..and we wanted to have something light so we ordered south indian and some chaat..<br/><br/>First up we had idli and medu wada..both were decent..<br/><br/>Next up was Mysore Sada Dosa..this was okayish and not to great..<br/><br/>Onion uttappa was decent but i ordered one with butter whereas they served one without..<br/><br/>Last up in south indian was a paper masala dosa which got cold tooo soon..masala wasnt that great..<br/><br/>Pav bhaji was decent..<br/><br/>We also ordered a bhel which was decent..<br/><br/>Hara bhara kebab were okayish..<br/><br/>We ended it with some fresh lime sodas..these were okay..<br/><br/>Overall service was good and price is reasonable..

Oh I have no words. It has been long time since I ate any south indian dish, so I ordered 2 Onion utappam and masala Mysore dosa and cutlets. It tasted awesome, reminded me the time I ate utappam in Chennai during my trip. Awesome packaging, awesome sambhar, and coconut chutney, and everything was perfect. Will be eating again from here. Just awesome.

We have been visiting geetha restaurant since college canteen, then geetha refreshments at bhatar and now at vesu. A couple of family functions have been organized here.<br/>I have tried food especially south indian, pav bhaji, pulao and chinese - a couple of times. & Gujarati thali.<br/>I must say that the south indian food is very delicious, also to add pav bhaji & pulao - love it. Got it delivered many times.<br/>The taste of pav bhaji is just perfect. I highly recommend pav bhaji and south indian from here. The quality, quantity & price are nicely balanced, hard to find these days.<br/>As for the staff here; based on recent family functions, i must say that the staff is very friendly and helpful.<br/>The ambience on the other side is a bit noisy and seating is a bit tight (based on my body size).<br/>Will surely keep ordering my regular food items from here.<br/>

All know GEETA is famous for its south Indian cuisine but they also serve variety of chinese dishes and they are absolutely worth it.. A very pocket friendly restaurant and if you have a big family then tou should definitely go for GEETHA as your bill will not get you unconscious 😉😉

I ordered the thali from geetha. They give thali in a well sealed container. The quantity was less in comparison with the price.but will visit the place and dine in. To review completely.

Fond memories of this restaurant dates back to year 2007 when we used to visit GR near bhatar char rasta. This is a aggressive restaurant spreading its wings.This new restaurant looks good with all its amenities and the food is awesome too. Paneer was very soft, the Chinese starters were superb. Service was slow but it was understandable..

The restaurant is good. Food is also good. Service is really great. <br/>But the only thing I didn’t like about the place is its ambience. The place was too noisy. It seemed as if they tried to accommodate a lot of people in a place meant for a few. <br/>I would surely visit the place again for its Mukti cuisine menu, but still I’d prefer Mysore cafe any day.

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time but 1st time we went to the one on university road and to my surprise, didn't find it upto the mark.The dosa wasn't baked properly and the daal was very diluted. Not the type associated with geeta restaurant. Pav bhaji was good but the pizza wasn't great either.Not a very good experience. Will try other dishes in the near future.

Wow my childhood favourite Geeta restaurant now owns a big building on the main university road and hordes of people flock this place in the evening. On a Saturday evening, we had to wait for more than 30 minutes but the wait was worthwhile. We ordered our regular Chinese starter followed by main course and later cold drink. The taste hasn't changed and ambience is cooler than that in the bhatar char rasta. Overall, a very good visit.

Average ambience and sitting arrangement is not well planned but food is delicious. Had tried pujabi food. It was awesome. They have enough starters in their menu. <br/><br/>The only negative point is service of staff. It’s below than the expectations. <br/><br/>Also have velvet parking facility.

This place has an average ambience but amazing food. I tried their South Indian, pav bhaji and pizza and really liked it all. It offers an array of dishes at reasonable rates and is a great place for small parties and kitties.

A go to place for a small celebratory dinner with family/guests. Flocking dinner time crowd, barren during breakfast. Always recommend place for simple south Indian breakfast and a paneer friendly vegetarian dinner. Panner bhurji, dal fry n dahi bhalla recommended.
