Ambience & Surrounding of restaurant is too good. Couple should go here. Staff is so polite & helpful. There is no many choices for foods but Panjabi sabji & breads are very tasty. I tried french fries but not up to the mark. So fast food lover should not try but panjabi is just awesome.

The place is wonderful & so is the ambience. Food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We went there for my mother-in-law's birthday & had authentic north indian cuisine. We had a good time there. We highly recommend it. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed perfect service too!

We ordered the typical punjabi food.. Sweet corn soup was thick with cornflour and sweet with sugar.. After a couple of spoons we just left it. For starters the paneer chilly was nice and hot. The two veggies were also very good.. The quality of the paneer and the naan was soft which is a plus point. The biryani had a perfumey taste to it which I didn't like. So few hits and few misses. The ambience is nothing special. There are better places in IBC than this though.

They think customers r fools , ordered for FOGGY NITRO CHAAT which said Deconstructed dhokla and was served Papdi chaat !! Can u imagine!! Ordered for Zaffrani paneer which said yellow saffron gravy with paneer kofta and was served paneer fingers in red gravy and when got angry and pointed all they said sorry imagine!! Hopeless and worst is they think customers r fools. And all this when restaurant was empty

This is an amazing place with great ambience, on point service & mouth watering food. Ordered Pasta Del Borone which is by far the best red sauce pasta i have had. And Julia Roberts Pizza which was good too, just that the base cpuld have been better. Chilly Garlic noodles were amazing. And all of the Indian food was great in taste. Slightly chewy tandoori roti but overall amazing food.

It's the best restaurant I have visited till date in Surat!<br/>Perfect ambience. Great Service. Awesome food. The most striking thing was that when we orderd charcoal vadapav and caged chaat , they brought seven pieces since we were seven people! Normally they serve for six people.

Sat here from 8:30 to 11:30. Out of which 1 hour just waited. Won't even give valid discounts. A disastrous service with no value of customer's time. Said the waiting was for 10 minutes, which became 50. Had to give our own ideas for table arrangement. Highly disappointed. Regret choosing this place for celebrating birthday. Had to change tables in the middle of eating. Friendly staff but extremely slow service. Would give lesser rating if available.

Horrendous service,pathetic staff,no care or sense of time from the staff.One naan takes 20 minutes to deliver and makes false acclaims of available table being made every 5 minutes,whereas it took 50 minutes for the table to be available.Completely unacceptable and is a complete violation of customer rights.If in case due to rush such situation comes,at least some compensation or complimentary should've been provided,but nothing of that sort.We came at 8 and dinner got completed by 11:30,be prepared.

Ever wondered what it feels like to be welcomed with cold smoke coming out of choco rolls? Or tried every item that has the perfectly balanced spices? Where food is just not to be eaten but enjoyed with some crazy innovative presentations?<br/><br/>No? Then, you've got to experience it at Spice Affair. Once having me settled well at the table, I was offered a cold choco roll stick that had smoke coming out of it. I've been familiar with the concept of Molecular Gastronomy, never thought the experience would be so much fun and yummy when I made my first visit here last week.<br/><br/>Chef Naved Patel, who's been in the food industry for 8 long years, has been experimenting his techniques in Mumbai, Dubai and now Surat. Having listed the most recommended items from the restaurant menu, I had the privilege to try his most favourite dishes starting with Mocktails, Gastronomical Starters, Sizzler, Two Gravies from the Main Course and Indian Breads ending with a fine, fun dessert.<br/><br/>And, here's what makes this visit absolutely valuable.<br/><br/>Pav Bhaji Minestrone: Spicy and thick, the soup might take a few seconds to set the taste. But, to drink the tastiest item of Indian cuisine is one hell of an experience.<br/><br/>Molecular Papdi Chaat: Freezing cold plate of Chaat that entertains you with smoke covered all over it. Every bite has a chatpata twist.<br/><br/>Spear Cage Chaat: Round Seviyan covered in Curd, Green Chatni, Imli Chatni and Chaat Masala, spear Cage Chaat replace Dahi Puri on my list.<br/><br/>Charcoal Vadapav: Never realised the burnt-look of Vadapav would taste so, so, so good. Tiny bread charcoal buns with a filling of smashed chilly potatoes were served on soup spoons.<br/><br/>Tandoori Gobi Mussalam: Thick tangy gravy, spicy again covering barbecued cauliflower makes it absolutely mouthwatering. And, one piece is never enough.<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka Sizzler: A Bed of Masala Pulav covered with Paneer Cutlets, beans, Paneer Tikka Gravy and peas sizzled on the table.<br/><br/>The food presentation takes you by surprise every time a new item is being served. That's the magic of Gastronomical culture. Your lunch/dinner is not spent the regular way but it brings in the energy, happiness and experience before the main course is served. With already having tried a lot, we narrowed down to two special gravies and a basket of Indian Breads that included:<br/><br/>Chilli Lababdar: Red Spicy Gravy with Paneer. One of the tastiest gravies I've tried in a very long time.<br/><br/>Bhukhara Kofta: Kofta is not usually a priority when it comes to Indian Gravies in restaurants for me, but after trying this creamy, sweet and melt-in-the-mouth Kofta Gravy, I choose to pick this item whenever I spot it now.<br/><br/>What makes the main course the best are the breads. They were crispy from the outside and soft from the inside and less chewy.<br/><br/>Mount Everest LIVE Dessert: There was a bowl of chilled water and different ingredients in Bowl. We were a bit blank when it arrived. But, then the chef prepared the ice cream right in front of us. He neatly placed the ingredients on the tray, mixed them well and then added chilled water that later turned into tiny snow balls. <br/><br/>This place is heaven for Vegetarian Eaters. The interiors are not overdone, the staff is super welcoming and the chef warmly delights you with the best food. You might think that this restaurant is nothing but all about Roti Subzi, but once you visit it, you will come out with moments you're going to remember for an entire lifetime. <br/><br/>

The ambience of the place is really classy which gives out such a good vibe!<br/>The food served is very unique!!<br/>My top favourite is the pavbhaji minestrone soup.. it has a slight taste of maggi alongside the pavbhaji taste which will definitely leave your tastebuds craving for more of it!<br/><br/>There has to be a chaat on my favourite list especially if it is something we dont get at many places. The spear cage chaat is delicious! Something i always dreamt of having ๐Ÿ˜› it truely tasted like i wanted it to be.. despite of being cold it didn lose its taste!<br/><br/>The tandoori gobi musallam has such a nice smokey taste to it! With thick gravy type consistency.. this was a different kind of starter!<br/><br/>Imarati tori was hands down the most unique dish! Test of curd , some spice , sweetness and crispness all are mind blowing.<br/>I can say 5 out of 5 ..<br/><br/>Tandoori Gobi Mussalam<br/>When there are any tandoori dish in any menu card , i just order it without any second thought.<br/>This dish is more them awesome.<br/>Whenever i again visit there , I'll definitely order it and when i backed to home , I said to my father that , I'll order it for them that's for sure.<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka Sizzler<br/>Paneer is love of suratis and I'm one of them . I tried couple of times Sizzler but never had like this one.<br/>Personally, loved it and please at least try once.<br/><br/>Chilli lababdar and Bukhara kofta<br/>If I'm talking about test, both are more than great.<br/>Chilli lababdar is quite spicy in commpare of kofta , it's obvious.<br/>Quality and Quantity both are good.<br/>And i tried different types of bread with them .<br/>Cheese chilli bread was like i don't need any gravy or vegetable, i can eat it alone. And every bread are soft and well cooked .<br/><br/>Mount everest live desert<br/>I was live during that time and people asked me most of time about the desert. I have tried live ice-cream many times but this one is the proper deserve i can say.<br/>When i put a spoon in mouth, it completely meltin mouth .<br/>I was full at that time due to lots of dishes i had. *Food:*<br/>Virgin Spark Mocktail: It was Litchi flavoured. I am not that into mocktails so couldn't judge it well. But those who like mocktails can definitely try it to see their exquisite presentation of Mocktails.<br/><br/>Pavbhaji Minestrone & Mushroom Cappuccino as Soup: Pavbhani Minestrone was a bit too spicy for me. But my wife loved it. Mushroom Cappuccino was having a creamy flavour and had froth in its texture. I will like to try some other options in Soup when I visit again. <br/><br/>Molecular papdi chaat: It had a bubble of Dahi on the Papdi. A very unique presentation of the food with bubble remaining consistent till you take it to the mouth. Would love to see some more chatpataness in it.<br/><br/>Foggy nitro chat: The Aalo Masala was covered with the Papdi on top and then liquid Nitrogen was poured on it live. It was chilled and tasted pretty good when the Papdi was eaten with the Aalo Masala from bottom.<br/><br/>Charcoal vada pav: Pitch Black colored balls when you see them being served. The outer part was the bread with the Aalu part inside. Okayish.<br/><br/>Khichdi Shushi: Did not like it at all. May be as vegetarian could not appreciate the flavour.<br/><br/>Spear Cage Chaat: One of the best items we had that day. It had a kind of dumpling filled with something similar to Sevaiya Sev. Topped with the Green Chatni, Meethi Chatni and DAHI. Loved it.<br/><br/>Tandoori Gobi Mussalam: Gobi with a super tangy gravy. Brilliant in taste. A must have starter if you like a bit mild spicy food.<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka Sizzler: It had all the ingrediants to satisfy your tastebuds as well as your appetite. The gravy was tangy, the Paneer was very soft and fresh, the rice and veggies were perfectly cooked.<br/><br/>Imaarti Topri: It was a chef special starter. Had unique ingrediants. Can try if you want to try something new and different.<br/><br/>Chilli Lababdar and Bukhara Kofta - with Basket of Rotis in Main Course: The Sabzis were delicious. I loved the Bukhara Kofta. It was mildly sweet and that was the best part for me.<br/><br/>Mount Everest Live Dessert: You might have seen a lot of live ice cream videos. Your cravings can find the perfect satisfaction with this Dessert. Must have. You will enjoy the preparation as well as eating.<br/><br/>Ambiance: It is decent. Not too loud. <br/>Service: On the toes. Decently trained staff.<br/>Washrooms: Neat and clean. <br/>Location: IBC Piplod. One of the best locations in Surat for such a restaurant. <br/><br/>Will visit again soon.<br/>

Overall i enjoyed. Service was ok not that great. But food won my heart. I would recommend this to all my friends.<br/>

First review on Zomato and i think it was a perfect experience in Spice affair. I heard the mix review about the restaurant but we got good deal for banquet. We had lavish banquet menu in just Rs 750. Great taste and service my guests were so happy by the management hospitality. It was value for money.

Very good restaurants the best restaurants in ibc giving a tough fight to other established player. There pan shots are amazing. There dahi bhala is a must try and never forget to ask for extra pan shots it's the best part of dinner. Amazing restaurant.

I had rated this place really low but I am delighted to have visited again after a change in their staff and new menu.<br/>I am not a very mocktaily person. But I tried the Virgin spark. It was nicely presented. Tasted above avg.<br/>Next came the Pav bhaji Minestrone soup. I absolutely loved it. It was very hatke and unusual. Fondues are common. This was a surprise.<br/>I also tasted the Mushroom Cappucino soup. At first it tasted off but we were happily given a replacement of the same soup and it was nice but not outstanding.<br/>If you are a fan of Sushis you must try the khichdi sushi. Its as close to sushi as a vegetarian could get to.<br/>Really nice.<br/>The charcoal vadapav is brilliant. Looks like a chocolate ball. Tastes like vadapav. The bread is fluffy.<br/>The star of my meal was the spear cage chat. It was so good. Inspired by middle eastern cuisine. Must try. <br/>The foggy nitro chat was chilled with nitrogen hence it tasted even better. <br/>The molecular papdi chaat needs more flavour. <br/>The tandoori gobi mussalam is a tandoori starter topped with gravy. Tastes as good as it looks. The indian main course is also good but i think one would focus more on their molecular gastronomy if you visit here. <br/><br/>They also have this live dessert where the chef comes to the table and makes you a dessert. It has so many flavours and textures in one dish that you cannot get enough of it. <br/><br/>Everything is well presented. Good innovations and most of the innovations work. <br/>It is decently priced like most others around it. The interiors could have been slightly more lively. <br/>
