Review Masala Mojo - Surat

Ambience of this restaurant is very lovely. Premium dinning hall on 2nd floor is so romantic. You must go there with your loved once for a romantic date. If I say about food, main course was so delicious. Green paneer chilly is a chef special. You should try it. Lasagna was not preferable to order. No taste of cheese.. big pieces of vegetables. So not good. In the last they provide paan shots as mouth freshener instead of saunf. That was also so much delicious.

The greatest places to eat from my experience the only place i would eat from now , it's very peaceful place and they Cookes very delicious food 😋 with great quality of food

Excellent Restourent of this class...newer property and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Cafe area is spacious and one of the best in a TownI have experienced. Fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples, and bananas) in addition to all the other hot and cold items. This stay was during several events in town and they handled groups well. Parking is adequate with some overflow in the back, lower lot. I actually stayed here twice in the same week/ weekend. Second time back was upgraded to a suite which was very nice and spacious with microwave and refer. I'll be back to this place and highly recommend to others when in the area.

Absolutely an amazing dining hot place. If I could then I would go atleast twice in the weak. The long structures and mocktails station with coffee correct culture is the attraction. I really loved it. And trust me bill is not too much. Its all about lavishness if you loved it.

Had a birthday party here. The staff was well coordinated. The restaurant is well built with 4 levels of different interiors and menus, cuisines and dine. Food is satisfactory and ambience is pleasant.

A Starbucks type well furnished ,pleasant,cozy coffee house. Other continental food is also available out there. Price is higher than average as per luxurious type of cafe.

Masala Mojo Visit Date - 11-08-2018 - Time 20:00-22:00 I was there on last weekend on a food testing session conducted by @riyahasani, So my experience goes like - Location & Ambiance - Overall appealing - My Numbers - 4.5/5 . Located on busiest Dumas road opposite big Bazar, Coming to the ambiance Restaurant occupies two floors (Cafe and Mocktail bar at Ground floor and a fine dining restaurant on 1st floor). with its brown theme from outside/roadside the cafe looks illuminated & shining and as soon as you enter you will find a hand folding tallest sculpture standing for your welcome which is the Centre of attraction. Since it was 8:00 pm We opt for the fine dine section and we went upstairs. Sitting arrangement was obviously artistical and Small light bulbs were irradiating the tables with its brown colors. Food and Drinks - My numbers 4.8/5 We begin with the Drinks and following Mocktail’s were served to us. 1- Mango Mule - Price-195 (3.8/5) Made with Mango Juice, Fresh Mints, Rock salts, Das of Tabaco and Lemon. The reason for less numbers that mocktail had excessive quantity of Rock salt and was super spicy too. 2-Coco nut kiss - Price - 195 (4.7/5) Ingredients - Pineapple juice, Orange, Rose Syrup, Tender coconut and Das of Grenadine. The ingredients mixed balanced pineapple, One of the savour drink i had 3-Best of the Rock - Rating (4/5) Drink was worth trying. 4- Pink Lady - Rating (5/5) - Had it first time I Felt like it was a mixture of Pineapple juice, strawberry syrup, lemon. It’s been favorite mocktail for the fellow bloggers. 5-Khawsa Soup - 4.9/5 - Though i tried it for the very first time it was one of the delicious soup in the menu. Still i can smell aroma of the soup. Soup contains lot of dry fruits. 6- Tomato Soup - 4.5/5 - Soup was thick and absolutely delicious. 7-Thai spring roll - Thai spring rolls, prepared with vegetables and served with chili dip was worth trying. 8- Cannelloni Popper - Price 320 (4.9/5) - Combination of Mince vegetable and cheese roll with salad. i am in love with the dish from the core. It had cheese like heaven and the excessive quantity of broccoli, corn and capsicum made it perfect. Chocolate BomBe- Price 490 (5/5) The dessert is not less than any magic trick. the bombe came on a plate and then the guy started pouring hot fudge over the top, and then shell started melt away into a pile of ooey-gooey goodness. This Magical Melting Chocolate Bombe was An Implosion Of Gooey Goodness. Service - 4/5 In the beginning order took longer time than usual, after first order dishes were kept coming without delay. Staff 5/5 A smile on the face with pleasing personality, Well trained and professional staff, The way they were welcoming and pleasing guests is praiseworthy. Overall - 4.8/5 -I would suggest to visit on weekdays to avoid crowd and for a faster service, The place would be worth and value for money unless you are not addicted to thier drinks. Cannelloni Popper - A must try Dish

The taste was good. Took around 270 per person. But it was worth. The pav bhaji pizza was little disappointing one. The pasta was the best one.

This restaurant is little bit costly because of its located in city area but the food is good also the servicing they r serve is good. In this Restaurant interior design is little bit focusing to your eyes because of the Statue inside of this restaurant.

The owner has invested too much in the appearance but failed to look after the taste. Ambiance , service was classy. Quite expensive when compared with others yet affordable for elite section.

Masala mojo is a very different fine dining restaurant which serves mocktaiks, shakes and lots of drinks on ground floor. It has fine dining section and also the luxury dining on 4th floor. Where you feel on top of the world with best cutlery and the best hospitality..Food is marvelous.

Very nice hangout spot on the ground floor. The quantity of the food was also decent. The ambience and service is also very good.

If I had to rate this place just for the ambience, I would definitely give it 5/5. While it shines as far as ambience is concerned, food and service are mediocre to say the least. While plating of each and every dish has been given great importance and is definitely Instagram worthy, taste is not exciting at all. Why would someone serve watermelon with Dahi ke Kebabs is beyond my imagination, probably to add some colour to the beautiful plating. Even the service lacks enthusiasm. Though a place which looks so stunning, really deserves another chance so I will visit again to try more items from the menu.

This place was becoming talk of the town in last few days, so finally we ended going there! To be frank, the place is lil over rated but yes, the quantity they provide is worth!<br/>We ordered a red bull with a lemon and some salt - tasted amazing :)<br/>Another was hazelnut cappuccino - can be tried if you have some thirst for a coffee!<br/>And at last was oye kiwi 🥝 it just was grounded kiwi with crushed ice, the person for whom it was ordered really liked it, but i personally didn't like it much, it could have been better :)

A must visit place if you wish to have quite and peaceful time with your family. Their paneer pasanda and paneer chhina and their bzriyani were just yum. I mean the test, and aroma was very inviting and delicious. Great place to have your dinner. Their service is just impeccable and staff very well mannered.

Place is amazing. And food is also amazing. I tried sex on the beach, Pomegranate basil mojeto, paneer satay, pink sauce pasta and fries with cheesy dip. Everything is good. Sex on the beach is orange, Pomegranate and mint flavoured. Pomegranate basil is mixture of basil and pomegranate with lime. Paneer satay is thai dish. Its served with thy sauce. Pink sauce pasta is tge combination of red and white sauce.

The best part of the place is the ambience and mocktails. One can definitely visit the place to chill out with friends and family. But if you’re looking for a dinner place , it’s an average rated place. The food was not up to the mark. It was not bad too . But I expected more than what I was served !

Visited this place on our recent visit to Surat. Was surprised that a pure veg place can do such justice to the cuisines that they serve. We went late and hence only had the option of Italian/Mexican food, and I was amazed by the taste. Definitely recommend this place. The tacos, pizza and burritos were a delight to eat. Good staff and quick service.

They mocktails are good I liked coconut kiss and pink lady, starters are amazing and dessert was mind-blowing. We had chocolate bomb and that was such a bomb😍 I will visit it again to try new things coz their menu was awesome.

Whenever it's restaurant it's always about meal!  Right? ; So, The test is absolutely up to the level and little expensive but again test doesn't need any price tag. Keep it up "MOJO TEAM".

One of the best restaurant in Surat I have visited ever. Quality of food is excellent and the ambience is mind blowing. Very well mannered staff. I request the owner to visit their kitchen and he personally came to see the kitchen and the kitchen area is really equipped with latest equipments and the cleanliness of the kitchen area was really really very good.

One of the finest restaurant in surat. Attraction is the statue at the entrance. Main course taste is very nice, specially thai curry and the bar man goes with very nice juggling

What an ambience , it was great to eat here. Everything was so cool and yet very very elegant . Perfect music , perfect mood ...... ula la , I must say . One feedback from my side - I wish this place becomes a breakfast place also and opens a little early , Surat does not have a single fancy elegant breakfast place , I would so wish that I sit by the mornings with a freshly brewed cuppa in my hand and some fresh breakfast on my plate with some morning music .

Superb resturant with great interior. Main attraction is the statue at the entrance which gives a wow feeling, premium dining which has been for the first time in surat. Recommend this to everyone

My first visit to Masala Mojo and it was super disappointing.The pasta was just eatable but the pizzawas pathetic.Not consumable .On asking them to do something about the pizza they took it in sprinkled some salt and got it back.The cost is way too much for the pathetic food they provide.A No No to the people wanting to visit.

I dint like the food. The service was really very bad and food quality was not pretty good. I ordered pizza where it was not hot and they dint provide us origano nd chill flakes we had to ask for that and burnt rice was not properly cooked.<br/>

“The food which doesn’t just satisfy your hunger but reaches, appeals and pacifies your soul is served at Masala Mojo”<br/><br/>Wanted to take my wife for a good outing on a Saturday night, and we had an impromptu halt at Masala Mojo and boy was that an experience..!!<br/>Ambience-great, food-“soul reaching”, service-let me tell you the kind of service we desire in our dreams is actually found here, cleanliness-A class and if you sit by the glass you get the view of the beautiful Piplod road.. everything is just at an ideal level..<br/>We had malai tikka, lasagna, pinacolada and Earl Grey tea.. the taste in each and every thing was clear and could be felt individually.. this is the taste that one would generally yearn for.. while malai tikka was a little on sweeter side, it still tasted good..<br/>oh and the presentation of the food, it was so good that you would cancel your hunger just to drool at the beauty they present..!!<br/>The entire setup is on 4 floors with a drinks bar on ground floor, fine dine restaurant on first floor and I don’t remember what’s on third and forth floor..!!<br/>Being a premium place you might feel the price a little on higher side but it is justified by overall package like ambience, presentation, service and food taste.. you must visit this once if you want to see how good restaurants keep their repo up..<br/>👍🏼

The Italian is not recommended here at all. However, the North Indian cuisine is very good. One of the best garlic naans I’ve had was in this restaurant.

Honestly, the 3 stars here are for the ambience, food was not that great. The price of the food is extravagant, compared to it’s quality. Waiters and managers are nice and polite. You could probably come for a date here.

Honestly, I was very excited to try out this restaurant earlier because of how good it looks from the outside. Ambience definitely is a 10/10. But after here is just a steep cliff. I'm giving this 1 star right now, only because I was genuinely impressed by the ambience of the place and only that. The food isn't worth the money you spend on it, the music is too loud, the menu has a few typos here and there, and the staff isn't professional. One can still ignore all this fancy superficial 'experience', 'service' and 'ambience' stuff as long as the food is good.<br/>Food and service are the biggest weaknesses of this overly good looking expensive restaurant. My friends and I had the chilly paneer, the cream cheese pasta, and black burgers with parmesan.<br/>Firstly, the waiter blatantly lied to us about the quantity one gets per dish. The pasta while claimed to be enough for 2 wasn't even enough for one serving for two people. We really weren't expecting a lot of quantity for the chilly paneer, and it was average, no complaints there.<br/>What really ruined my experience here was the burger. Priced at Rs 325, without taxes, it's definitely not value for money. Dare I say, it's a scam. We still gave it a try, because having a black charcoal bun burger seemed to be a fun thing to try out. We were told that the burger would be quite sizeable and would have a Mexican grilled patty with parmesan cheese. When the dish arrived, it was on a small appetizer sized rectangular serving plate, 2/3rd filled with fries, and 1/3rd burger. I kid you not, the burger was smaller than a McAloo Tikki at McDonald's, which is at almost 1/10th the price of this. Yet, we tried it out. The fries were mediocre and here's best part(or the worst, actually) There was NO PATTY inside the burger. Just some beetroot, lettuce, cheese and I guess mayo. No patty though, nada! When we did complain and inquire about what they had just given to us, the waiter went on the defense for a moment. Later, the Manager did tell us that he'd refund us on one of the burgers and perhaps, if we want, replace the burger for something else, but the experience was already ruined.<br/>They tried to scam us with one patty-less slider sized 'burger' with more fries than necessary, because they didn't have the actual burger available, for whatever reason, instead of just clearly telling it to us that it's unavailable, earlier!(We could have totally understood the lack of something being present, and changed our order immediately, instead of wasting so much time)<br/>To conclude this review, I'll I was really disheartened and disappointed with my experience at Masala Mojo, if only they had staff as good as their superficial ambience.<br/>Not visiting again, and would obviously never recommend it.

The place is very good with nice decorative ambience. The staff is also good and service is also good. The food presentation is attractive. Taste of dishes is bit on the lower side. Still overall a good place for Family Dine. #masalamojo#suratfoodie

I dont lyk this place at all..ya the ambience is much cool but the staff management is so weird..Nd the price is also much higher according to their foods..so dont ever think to visit that place..I hope this review may be helpful for everyone.

Okay so I liked this place a lot. So like this building has 3 floors. On the ground floor it’s a cafe. The first floor is more like an affordable restaurant. The 2 floor is like kitty party types and the third floor is the luxurious restaurant like a little pricey. <br/><br/>We ate at the 3rd floor and let me tell you that place was BEAUTIFUL..... but it was expensive. So it was royal themed. Mesh curtains separating all the tables and beautiful paintings all around. It’s ambience is soooo good. Family dinners here will be amazing. <br/><br/>So we ordered classic masala papad and two types of soups. NBD<br/><br/>Then for starters we had fried babycorn and Pav Bhaji pizza. That dish was Ahmazing. Really very good. <br/><br/>Then we had dal makhani. Now so every restaurant has garlic cheese naan but they had garlic jalapeño naan and it was finger licking good. And then we had this basket full of different types of breads (naans and rotis) we didn’t order any ather veggies because we were full. <br/><br/>Now they did this amazing thing where after every course they give like some refreshments. So: <br/>Before starters: yogurt shots <br/>After straters: this pill thingy <br/>After main course: pan shots <br/>This is an amazing place. <br/><br/>I know it’s stupid but we didn’t like the water here so they had this Bhutani water. Is was a little bitter but I didn’t like it. You might idk. With all due respect it was not good. So I recommend to ask the customers before serving them that water.<br/><br/>So they didn’t have a lot of dessert options so we skipped that. I’d also recommend adding new desserts but other than the water and dessert this place was amazing. <br/><br/>I would recommend all of y’all to go here but ( always do check the right side of the menu, you might lose all your money) just kidding. I think it's one of the best places in Surat, with nice cocktails and shakes. Although all the dishes were in Gujarat style but any person can enjoy here. You can have super luxury dining at 4th floor. Loved the food and ambiance.<br/>Would definitely come back.

Well, I didn’t have that great experience over there. The staff is not well informed what type of cuisine or sitting arrangements are there on each floor! <br/>I can say that it’s a little over hyped. <br/>Service is quite fast with okayish food. <br/>My order was as follows: <br/>1) pav bhaji pizza: okay okay. Not that great. But something unique and different. (Photo attached) <br/>2) Manchurian: that was amazing. <br/>3) humus and peta bread: average <br/><br/>Need to educate your staff about the cuisine and sitting arrangements. <br/>I might visit the place but not sure when! <br/>There’s still scope for improvements!

The ambience and service is very good and food is got quickly. Ordered the chilly baby corn and mushroom which was a 5/5, ordered a fresh garden hummus which was a 1/5-presentation was a 5/5 but taste wise it was a let down,the hummus and other sauces were bland and the bread was tasting a little oily. Ordered a death by choco which was a 3/5, the drink was to be of 4 different chocolates. Overall quantity was good and service was courtiuos.

We were told on the phone that we don't need to book a table but when we went upstairs for the restaurant we were told to book the table from downstairs. They didn't even bend the rules for a senior couple who were sent downstairs too. The variety is limited and a bit experimental for the norm. Food was good though expensive and not something worth coming again for. Quantity was good for Indian dishes. Service was not good. We were asking the servers to serve us again and again, they would just leave the bowls/plates on the table and go. As it was a fine dining restaurant I had expected to alteast get some fine service. Overall pretty average.

Masala Mojo - A meaningless Restaurant.<br/>Reason :-<br/>1. Small dinning space and very noisy place.<br/>2. The food that was served to us was not hot. As the kitchen and dining are not on same floor the food was warm when it reached the table.<br/>3. Inexperienced staff.<br/>4. Didn't get the satisfaction.<br/>5. Interiors are good but its a restaurant the food should be good than the guest is happy.<br/><br/>I feel the restaurant is opened in a wrong place.<br/><br/>Finally, if I don't get a table in a good restaurant and I am very hungry then and than only I would go to this restaurant.<br/><br/>I have SERIOUS DOUBTS about the current rating for this restaurant. Seems fabricated. LOL.

Price is high. Interior matches the price but the drinks don't. Mango Cheesecake was tatti. But bar has a nice view and the place is instgrammable.

Well don't know where and how to start...trust me they are not even worth wasting time, if you just want to see fancy serving material just walk inside...well a small advice DON'T WASTE TIME,

Poor service!!!<br/>Soggy honey,chilly potato - and don't dare order a mineral water.... you will regret it later! <br/>P.S.- Do try once for sure to order a Mineral water as well as regular water !
