Review The Commoners Kitchen - Surat

The place seems to be a part of a house. I found the place interesting with respect to menu & service. Service was prompt. The menu had several varieties, mainly fast food items, coffee, mocktails, dessert, etc. The ambience was nice & I found the food, mocktails, dessert, well cooked & tasting really good. The joint is usually full as this is a small joint. It would be better to reserve the table before going. People may find this joint expensive, but worth a try.

IG - meraexperience This is a quiet and aesthetically pleasing cafe in a peaceful locality. The cafe has a very warm and cozy vibe to it. Considering that it's a repurposed house, they have really done a good job with the ambiance. We had Chicken Burger, Benjamin Mutton Burger and Classic Chicken Harissa and Feta Sandwich. Both the burgers were really good. Chicken one had a side of French fries and Mutton one had sweet potato fries. Chicken sandwich was tasty and had a good filling too. Chicken burger was the best! They should mention what will be served as a side for all dishes, I would have preferred normal fries instead of sweet potato fries. Overall, a place to visit if you want to have amazing burgers!

The cafe experience was delightful, especially with its aesthetic ambiance. The burger surpassed my expectations with its generous size, delightful texture, and excellent taste. Moreover, the variety of unique burger options added to the enjoyable experience. Additionally, I couldn't resist trying their pizza, which was equally impressive in size and taste, thanks to the custom sauce they used. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend.

The 4 stars are for the burgers. I have had burgers at many places - Bombay Brassierie ( Mumbai) Good flipping burgers, Burger king etc etc...but the burgers here were at another level. Especially SMOKED CHIC ( smoked chicken which was quite juicy with their inhouse buns & sauces, some tomatoes & romaine lettuce) - mind blowing - quite costly @470 Rs, for a city like Surat but quite exclusive also. The other burger was mushroom patty burger - shitake + normal mushrooms & rest of the ingredients remain the same as the chicken burger, was also good. Coffee was NOT good. They have coffee beans over which they have exclusive rights, so it seems ( according to their management) nobody can buy those beans..but taste wise they were quite average. One star reduced only because of that. The desserts are made by the wife of the owner - we tried sponge cake with berry orange flavour & white chocolate glaze. To be honest it was just about ok. Nothing special there. But the staff is quite good & the ambience is nice. Go & devour the burgers...

This place is a foodie's place! The cafe's aesthetic is Instagram-worthy, and their cheeseburgers are a delight to the taste buds. The hand-stretched pizzas are the real deal. Other thing’s available here are pastas, sandwiches, fries and many more.

I recently visited The Commoner's Kitchen and was impressed by its versatile seating options both indoors and outdoors. The ambiance of the cafe creates a welcoming and comfortable environment, perfect for both relaxation and socializing. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism added to the positive experience. However, it's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, making it a great spot to unwind and savor quality moments.

Vibe is good (both inside and backyard sitting) Food is also good with lot of variety. Do not go for these: Berry cooler, mac and cheese pasta Rest all is good!!

I recently visited The Commoners Kitchen and was blown away by the quality of the food. I had read about this cafe in Architectural Digest and was excited to try it out. The menu is unique and offers a great selection of dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, with a friendly staff that is attentive and helpful. The only drawback is that the cafe is closed on Tuesdays, which can be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that they don't serve breakfast items at night - I really wanted to try their French toast but was told it's only available in the morning. Overall, I highly recommend The Commoners Kitchen for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Surat. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family.

The place has got a really chill ,nice vibe and the ambience is boho and rustic and it takes you back in time. Talking about staff and their suggestions they are courteous and suggestions given are worth it. We had coffee with orange juice and tonic water also hibiscus ice tea was really good. The burgers were both vegetarian and non vegetarian both were juicy and filling. Only thing I feel is the price point which can be lowered a bit for the burgers rest everything was perfect.

Commoner's Kitchen has the most uncommon ambiance and menu.... The food is extremely well cooked. Menu is limited. Most delicious and covering the global cuisine. The coffees are feshky brewed and served with good presentation. Music is very upbeat. Very classy decor and lovely ambiance. Staff is very cordial and happy to help. I celebrated my father's 70th birthday and they made sure it is done well.
