Review China Bistro - Thane - Thane

Excellent food and very good service. We went for lunch buffet on Sunday. A good range of starters and couple of soups offered on table. Starters were tasty with well balanced flavours. While we were full before starting main course, we liked the main course too which also had a good variety including sea food options. The ambience is good and plenty of space even after the tables are full. Staff is very cordial and prompt.

China Bistro has been my go to place for authentic asian cuisine and is one of those places where nothing can ever go wrong. The food here is simply amazing. Do try the duck curries and the Thai curries. The lamb starters are also good. Nothing like going here on a Saturday night with your date for a long comforting hot dinner!

We visited this place for Sunday lunch. We called there number before for reservation but could not get through. Place was almost packed when we reached at 1.25pm. Fortunately we got table for us. We opted there Oriental non veg Buffet. It had 5 veg 5 non veg starters, main course , rice noodles and desserts. Followijg is my brief review for the same 1) Chicken lung Fung soup was absolutely awesome 2) In starters Pepper prawns were fantastic, lamb dimsums and chicken wontons were nice too. Butter fry fish was ok 3) Nothing much special taste in main course. But it was good. Nood were little dry. 4) Dessert variety and quality needs to be improved a lot. Overall it was good place for families and groups. Will come back. Note : Zomato, dineout etc is not applicable if you take buffet

We visited China bistro for their Dimsum Bao bun festival to try out their exclusive variety of Dimsum and Bao, The food was very well presented and served. There was no compromise on the quality. We tried their Mocktails which were genuinely refreshing and they also have unique desserts which you should not miss

Nice and calm atmosphere, food quality is good and the sauces they provide are my favourite. Momos are great rest all are good. Deserts are good too. Must try at least once.

Lunch buffet is quite good with a decent variety of non veg and veg options. Alcohol is also served here. Service seems a bit rushed as they served the soup at the table and immediately brought the starters even before we had tasted the soup. Starters and mains are quite good. Staff are polite and courteous.

Very nice ambience. Service is very prompt and the staff is very polite and friendly. Food is okay okay. We had ordered Mandarin Orange basil drink, Chicken chilli, Singapore rice thin noodles, Crystal veg dim sum and chicken basil dimsum.

Ambience is very good. I actually went for buffet but that day they didn't have buffet. They had a Thali with few items in it but thali wasn't unlimited. All items are overpriced as compared to nearby restaurants. Staff is polite. We told a waiter to add spice to rice and he did that but to my surprise, he gave more rice. Generally when we tell to make changes in any food dish, we get the same quantity with changes made but in this restaurant we got more rice. Food was tasty. Good place to chill with friends.

I liked their starters. Chicken chilly was delicious and drums of heaven was also nice. Tried their chicken bao but it was great. Also, in deserts we tried chocolate tsunami and hot chocolate rolls which were as great as their description in menu. Deserts were a disappointment for us. Overall loved their ambience and service but food was ok ok except the yummy chicken chilly for which i will go back😆

I opted for weekend buffet which costed me Rs.970/-pp I loved the starters served - lollipop, prawns,wantons,fish. Dimsums could have been better. They also serve some amazing main course, my most favourite was the crab curry, it was tooo good! In deserts they have limited options from those i liked the brownie more!

It's one of the best places for Asian foods in Thane. They have great Sushi both for Veg & Non Veg. Their dumplings & Pot Rice are also very nice. They have a vast variety of Sea food options available as well. The service is also good. They serve alcoholic beverages as well.

Service was really great. we had, fire rosted Mandarin chicken 9/10 (crispy and juicy but felt Little salty) 8 treasure chicken soup 10/10 (authentic, very less 🌽 starch) Chicken basil dimsum 10/10 (basil flavor was very balanced) Spicy korean stone Bowl 7/10 (expected spicy/hot but was little sweet) Also got complementary desserts from staff 😋😍

Went there as a party of 12 or so and were taken well care of by the staff. They keep bringing out these appetizers to your table and keep a keen eye on the refills. Really well made and delicious appetizers with garnishings that seemed perfect. Main course was good but came as a step down when compared to the appetizer quality. Deserts were also top notch and very well cooked. Definitely a second visit worthy place to keep on your family outings.

Took the family over there and we had a blast! The food is amazing and the portion sizes are great. Although we opted for a la carte, the buffet seemed really worth for the money. It really packs up on Sunday.

The ambience at this place is excellent. You don't feel like leaving! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and recommends dishes as per our preference. There are plenty of both veg and non veg options to choose from. The transparent dimsum which we had was absolutely delicious. The presentation of the food items is also exquisite. Definitely recommended.

Well the food was just as good as some other restaurant serving Chinese food. Not really what i expected. Apart from food there were two things which were really not acceptable 1) hygene and 2) service. My view might differ with rest but my experience was really not good. In a nutshell- Surprisingly an live insect was enjoying my piece of food. Staff was too busy to serve us. For everything we had to raise hand and then one will come by their convenience.

Today, I ordered Veg Burnt Garlic Fried Rice and Chicken Lemongrass Fried Rice from China Bistro, Tnane <br/>While the Veg Fried rice tasted average, the Chicken fried rice was drenched in soya, making it look very dark brown, with no aroma what so ever of lemon grass. They added an excess of pepper, that left a burning sensation in my mouth. Very few traces of chicken.<br/>When I pay over Rs 350 per dish from China Bistro, I expect that the quality or rice used should be good and the quantity to be as mentioned, serves 2 to 3 persons. But a big thumbs down here too.<br/>The dish could easily pass off as a low quality dish served by the many not so famous Chinese food kiosks<br/>Overall, highly dissatisfied on the areas mentioned..<br/>Not sure if China Bistro will read my review and respond, but sharing my experience.

Perfect chinese...I ordered chicken ckear noodle with wanton soup ...it was deliciouly gr8...but I found qty for 2 portions ordered was less we some how got 3 small bowls to fill upto brim...chicken haka noodles was also superb and qty was sufficient for 3 people

China Bistro in Vasant Vihar is quite popular with its Thane Residents. We have gone there a couple of times and we have always been pleased with the food and service. Slightly overpriced for the portion size. However, here are some of our favourites to have at China Bistro <br/>Vegetable Chive Dumplings, Crispy Lotus Stems, Waterchestnut and Corn in Lettuce Cups, Any of their One pot meals ( I love all the one pot meals on the menu) <br/>

I went here with my cousins family. The food was good and I didn’t have much complaints. I just thought the dishes were the standard Chinese dishes, there wasn’t anything special that stood out.

This is a very good restaurant in Thane. The ambience is pretty good. The staff feiendly and the food is good tastewise and portion wise. Its a fine dine style so not very easy on the pocket but worth it! You will surely enjoy your date in this quiet yet classy place.

Very nice authentic chinese

It’s a great place to enjoy yummy food with friends and family. Today my servers were Raju and Tapan. Extremely warm and considerate both of them. Tapan was very sweet and helpful throughout our dinner service. Raju kept checking if we need anything else. I enjoyed my dinner, thanks to Tapan and Raju

Amazing ambience, food and service. Started off with the Crispy Spicy Avocado sushi roll with Wasabi and pickled ginger, Vegetable Basil dumplings. Very unique flavours.<br/><br/>For soups we ordered the Eight Treasure Soup and Tom Kha soup. I will highly recommend the latter, has a very coconutty taste and right amount of spice. <br/><br/>For mains we had the Mahlak Pot Vegetable and Mee Goreng. Great combination of Rice and Noodles.<br/><br/>For dessert, we had the Buddhas Fu (picture attached) - Mango custard topped with vanilla ice cream, topped off with melted caramel, choco chips and chocolate powder is dropped off by ringing the bell. On the side there is whipped cream with mango syrup.<br/><br/>Please visit for an authentic Asian food experience. Our host Mr. Hari Sharma gave us a wonderful experience and great tips!

We are coming here from last 8 years. It's our favorite restaurant and we love love sushi here. And Thai food is amazing. The service is excellent.

Ordered a delivery of an assorted veg box. The deal was a lil expensive but the brand itself has a cost for it. The food quality is undoubtedly good. The khimchi and the gravy is a little spicier than usual but edible. Good enough quantity for one person. Worth the price and great service.

Delicious.. Great place for Chinese. They have very different dishes of Chinese. We had order prawns soup, veg fried rice, veg spring roll, chicken lemon grass rice with different chicken gravy. All was too delicious just made us too happy. Always lovely people they got us complementary orange juice because we had kid with us also a balloon, they make children happy too. Enjoyed the evening. I keep visiting this place for dinner and the ambiance is very calm and elegant. The food I ordered was superb it had very balanced taste and the service and hospitality was top notch. Overall it’s a great place to full fill all your cravings for Chinese food according to me this is the only place in Thane. It’s highly recommended to all the Chinese food lovers. Their staff Satya’s suggestions are really good.

China Bistro is a very quaint place in thane loved the ambience a place where u can go with ur loved ones and have a good time spent with a nice chatting time. The music is very soothing and good to listen to. The food service is good and some good recommendations u are in for a treat . We managed to get in with the chicken dumplings which was just as authentic as they get and then we opted for the chilli garlic noodles along with the mao chicken which is again a one of a kind dish. Ended with an amazing choclate brownie in choclate sauce which just made the visit worth ...... Thank you Raju ( senior server )

Today I went to China Bistro , vasant vihar outlet, though been in this location quite a some time now, I felt total waste of money and time today. Well today to my surprise all buffet main course was no longer hot though it was a peak time at 2 pm. Also felt service was bit lousy today. Need improvements .

We happened to eat during Chinese New Year celebration ! Our table attendant PRAMOD suggested some great starters for us, particularly the Phoenix tailed prawns were simply great! Further we ended our dinner with a desert called Buddha’s Fu, another great suggestion by PRAMOD!

This place is a great option for Chinese cuisine lovers. All the mocktails are very well crafted with their tangy taste. In starters, Hangzhou chicken, bbq fish and Phoenix tailed prawns are all awesome, my personal favorite were the prawns, coated in spinach they make a healthy dish. In mains, I tried the chicken pot meal that is a mix of rice and gravy chicken. In desserts, we had water chestnut and white fungus cream that is a very new concept. Overall this is a great place with one of the most courteous staff ever.

Hot pot hunan chicken with mushroom was good but seemed little over-priced. But we enjoyed our over-all Sunday lunch. We will definitely visit again.

We went on last wednesday to this restaurant located in vasant vihar thane. It was my friends party, because it was his favourate restaurant so we went there.<br/><br/>The ambiance is lovely with good music and great seating arrangement is done. Basically it is famous for china cuisine.<br/><br/>The both quality and quantity is superb and really i tried it for first time it was delicious to taste. Had a Great evening yesterday at this restaurant. Great Ambience, Great Food & Good Staff. Mr. Raju served us the right variety of dishes in Veg & NonVeg category for starters & main course. Prawns & Chicken dishes served are good options with a good chilled Beer.

And for a change i ordered a food from China Bistro and guess what , they have amazing food .<br/>I ordered :<br/>Salmon Roll which was very tasty and quality was great.<br/>Also I ordered Chicken Siu Mai and Prawn Har Gao. Prawn Har Gao is one of my favorite dish. Because I love prawns and this dish is very delicious 😋. You must try this.<br/>Also the delivery was very quick , it didn't took long to deliver my food .<br/>The best part about them is they don't use ajinomoto and artificial flavours in their products so what they serve you is totally the best .<br/>It was great lunch altogether ♥️

Visited here for buffet lunch. The ambience first attracted me to get in.. it was dark ambience n typical Chinese atmosphere. Coming to food it was buffet so tried almost everything n liked it.. the basa fish was nice. Staff was good. Over all a good experience.

Very very nice ambience. Food was so great as I enjoyed a lot. Chicken lollypop was super tasty and soup was so flavour full with lots of veggies and chicken. Also there is always room for dessert. As honey wanton was so amazing as well as caramel custard, pastries and ice cream.

The service was good, the starters,buffet, dessert was good. But the buffet had a lobster dish serving which wasn't lobster. I asked the server, he said it was a baby lobster😂. Now this place serves baby lobster when it's a shrimp. And the tag was chilli sauce lobster. Be careful.

They serve authentic Chinese food. They have some signature starters especially the dimsums. Do try their pot rice which comes along with mouth watering gravy. They also serve various desserts. At peak hours the service might be little slow but otherwise recommended

Proper Chinese cuisine. Had chicken basil dumplings for starters and thai curry(green) chicken with rice which was delicious.. I also tried Mahlak pot (chicken), it was rice mixed with chicken nd vegetables and also Japanese wheat noodles(tasted a little different from regular noodles). The service was good, had a long waiting, a little crowded on the weekends. Overall experience was great! 4⭐️

Enjoyed at China Bistro at Thane today with authentic chinese. Superb ambience and sufficient soace. Mr Janak Choudhary was very prompt and courteous.
