Review Utsav Restaurant - Thane

It's a very spacious and luxurious restaurant. Very neat and tidy. Washroom is very hygienic and kept clean. Price is a bit high but as per the Ambience it can be acceptable. Food tastes nice. Service is also good.

Good atmosphere. Valet parking was available as it is situated on very busy corner around Viviana mall. Service was very prompt. Food taste and quality was also great. But the staff was not courteous. Had to ask multiple times for the menu choices and it clearly showed on his face that he was not interested. Space is good and menu has huge amount of choices. Recommended for families with kids. Presentation was also good. We requested for packing the leftovers and they charged 10 rs for packing but the packaging was very pathetic and it leaked, spoiling the dress. It needs to be improved.

Very good restaurant for family or groups. The ambience and service is nice. The restaurant is located bang off EEH which is very convenient to travel. I had ordered Masala Papad, Oriental Soup, Rim Zim Kabab, Paneer Lapetedar and Lachhedar Paratha. Rim Zim Kabab was a bit boring/dull in taste. Rest all the items were good. Paneer Lapetedar is a must try. The service is also fast. They have limited valet parking available.

Hands down, this is the best vegetarian restaurant that I have been to. Its a vegetarian’s paradise. It’s mind boggling as to how extensive their menu is. It houses near about all the major cuisines- South Indian, North Indian, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, you just name it ! My personal favourite: 1) North Indian - Paneer Bemisal (Main course) (5 on a scale of 5): If north indian is the choice for the night, nothing beats this divine combination of Paneer in their special red gravy. I have almost tried every Paneer North Indian main course on their menu and this item will just tickle your taste buds and you would crave for more. Definitely this tops the list over any other main course. 2) Chinese - Kung Fu Paneer (Starter)(5 on scale of 5): This is the best chinese starter I have ever had, period. Such a beauty. It is delectable! Mouth melting paneer in their special sauce just steps up your dining experience. This is your go to, if you thrive on a great Chinese experience. 3) Chinese - Chilly Garlic Noodles (Main course)(4 on a scale of 5): A conundrum to choose between the classic Veg Hakka Noodles and Chilly Garlic one was burning a hole in head. But I’m glad I opted for the latter. It was heavily loaded with exotic vegetables like Mushroom, Babycorn, Red Paprika etc. The spice note was on a higher side but I did not mind that. The noodles were a bit puffy which was a let down. Barring that everything was cooked to perfection. 4) Dessert - Kulfi Rabdi Falooda (4 on scale of 5): After all the spices you have hogged on this calm down the fire in your stomach. Cool, soothing, flavourful and the rabdi is just too good to ignore. One of their iconic dessert, a must have for all the Kulfi lovers out there.

We stay in Thane, Vasant Vihar area and have frequented Utsav many times before. But it was a great experience especially during Diwali festivities! We celebrated our daughter and son-in-law's 1st wedding anniversary here today. Great food, lovely ambience, quick service, are the highlights of this vegetarian outlet.

It's absolutely amezing experience at utsav food is amezing I have tried some new dishes which Is highly recommended 1. Corn crackers 2. Garlic chilly rice And in dessert I have tried hot gulab jamun which so delicious 🤤

The best pure veg restaurant I have been to in Thane. Lovely ambience and great service. The serving staff is great and helpful. Be it chaats, soups starters or the multi cuisine main course options. All of them are great and nothing is over done in an attempt to impress. Must visit while in Thane. Generally long waiting queues during weekends holidays and festive season.

I would call this a pretty posh restaurant within budget though. Here pure vegetarian dishes are served. What makes this restaurant different is the ultra wide variety of dishes served here. Apart from the regular Indian and Chinese they also serve Mexican and Thai dishes. Best way is to try all the dishes on various visits. Regards to covid norms, ultra high precautions are taken here. The seats are sanitized after the visitor leaves. The menu card is sanitized before giving to the guest. Staff wear mask properly all the time. This restaurant is not difficult to locate. It's right beside Viviana Mall. Yes they have valet parking available hence no worries related on that front. So go there and do enjoy.

Best restaurant for vegetarian food lover. Ambience is grand and lavish. They have valet parking. We ordered Crispy Vegetables Fried, Crispy Corn, 7 Layer Pizza and Dal Khichdi with Tadka. Food was super delicious. Quantity and presentation was good. Service is good and quick. This place is expensive, however, it is worth every penny.

This restaurant no doubt enjoys the crown of the best vegetarian restaurant in thane and this is their second and the luxuriously made branch after panchpakhadi. The food is definitely the fine dine level and also the charges. The only point is the long waiting that one has to encounter while visiting on weekends or any festival. Rest once in the food will always make u satisfied and also the service

This place is superb with great ambiance and valet parking. Food is great in taste but bit higher in side of price range. But you can really enjoy here with family. Very nice clean washroom and clean hotel. As my mom handicapped so there is wheelchair accessible plus they have there own wheel chair also. So from my side very nice and great hotel , any one can must visit and I'm as a chef I love the food taste.... 😁 ❤️

Best restaurant in Thane west.also less waiting time. Quality food. Lots of options are available here. It's pure veg restaurant. I recommend any starter (Mexican,Italian,Chinese). veg kurkure roll is famous starter, Try any mocktail,cooler. I tried white and pink sauce pasta here it was just awesome. Don't try pizza beacuse it's waste of money. You can try other food like Punjabi Chinese also.

The food is very tasty. The ambience is very soothing. They have very limited parking space,so if you are going during peak time then you may have to park your vehicle either inside the mall or outside the mall at your own risk.

Service was very good and quick, even they have good management for waiting people. Ambience is superb, Food was very tasty including variety of starters and main course. (Roti has a scope of improvement). Overall it was good experience to have with Family, will recommend to try once.

One of the most luxurious places I have visited. There was a little waiting but not much also it is understandable as it is a very famous restaurant. The food was amazing. The food came quick and delicious. It was a really nice atmosphere nice lighting and overall looks were beautiful. The bathroom is very clean and hygienic. This was an amazing experience.

We wanted to have some pav bhaji in Thane and we searched and found this place on Swiggy. The place looked awesome. The service was great. The food was yum. We also had the kulfi rabdi falooda and it was yummy. Royal falooda could have more vermicelli in it but it was good. The grilled sandwich and dosas were also good. The sizzling brownie was the final thing. The prices are high so it may be good for a once in a while eat-out. But it was worth the visit.

Worst rice ever eaten..! We ordered cheese tava pulao and it was not at all good.! Bad smell, bad taste. I suggest never order ever.

I never thought I would write like this for my favourite restaurant, which we always go to for family get togethers, for birthdays, this is not a one time experience but I have ordered many times from here and what happened since last two times was surprisingly unpleasant experience. First when I ordered South Indian food, the Sambhar was completely burnt and tasted bitter, still we managed to eat with chutney, this time I had ordered pav bhaji and it was literally too spicy it was it was not pav-bhaji it could be rather called red chili bhaji or red chilli paste, it gave me such gastric trouble that I could not sleep at night after dinner. After too much of fame looks like they have deteriorated in terms of taste, quality and service.

I ordered a paav bhaji and some other items. But the bhaji was so pathetic that I thought I was just given grinded tomatoes with some spices added. And after I called, I think it must be the owner, he gave a big attitude saying SO????? If you are in food business have the guts to accept feedbacks! This was worst, you just lost a customer and afcourse you don't care!!!

Sometimes it's better to answer the hunger with Biryani . :) Biryani was Yum !

Food quality has deteriorated post lock down. <br/>We had ordered on my birthday on 18-6-20. Food quality was very poor. Me and my son had stomach issues after the dinner with food ordered from Utsav.

There is a place issue in this outlet of utsav but the food is delicious. I tried dry machurain which was so soft and tasty, other than that i tried paneer tikka masala and naan which was also great

It was recommended by my brother's wife to eat at this restaurant and we decided to go together. Was able to park easily in front of the restaurant. Food was excellent and so was the courteous staff, quick service tasty food and convenient location makes this restaurant an every ones choice. If you are in Thane want tasty veg food go straight to this restaurant at Panchpakhdi and you won't be disappointed

A really good place to try different cuisines. You get south Indian, north Indian, chinese, mexican, etc. The food tastes really good and the restaurant maintains the quality of food as well. A nice ambient and hygienic place. Don't forget to try it's Manchurian and different types of dosas.

One of the oldest and the best place in Thane serving best Vegetarian Food since years and now they have their 2 outlet in Thane! It's my go to place when I wish to eat Vegetarian food! They charged me Rs. 40 for a bottle of water which wasn't even chilled.. I mean why would anyone pay just to drink it from their glasses.. They told me if you just take parcel then the cost of bottle is Rs. 20 and if you drink along with meal inside hotel it will cost you Rs. 40 (Rs. 50 inside AC room). Those were the exact same words. Not worth it.

This place is located near the kachrali talao in panchpakhadi, Thane. It is a pure veg hotel but the non vegetarian people migh think that veg food served here is not good. But trust me this place serves the best vegetarian food. There is always 30-40mins waiting period but the food is worth the wait. The environment is friendly and the staff is good and they serve the food on time even if the hotel is crowded.<br/>Not visited utsav yet? Then try it.

Ordered cheese masala pav and manchurian rice, both the dishes are too tasty. I musy say Utsav serves the quality food from many years and made special place in everyones heart. The packing was very good not anything is licked from the boxes. Cheese Masala pav was so cheesy and yummy and mouthwatering.

I was here for their amazing Tea or coffee however today’s day they didn’t serve any. Knowing how famous they are I am surprised how they altered their menu making items on the list unavailable.

This is one restaurant where you wouldn't mind eating veg food coz it's so yummy. Conveniently located in Panchpakhadi Thane, this is a family restaurant. The main highlight is that there are no strict lunch timings here and food is available the whole day. So even if you haven't had your lunch until 3 or 3.30 pm, fret not, this restaurant will serve you delicious lunch options. The menu is moderately expensive but it goes with the quality and the quantity served. I would recommend their Paneer Sholay tikka. It's the best I've ever had. Rest of the dishes are also very good. Since the quantity is more in a dish, if you are not able to complete the entire dish, you can ask them to parcel the remaining items for you and they will happily do it. I loved the lunch I had here and would definitely recommend this place.

Highly unprofessional staff and extremely rude manager. Please carry extra noodles from home because they charge Rs.65 for bowl of extra noodles.for Manchow soup. Also carry ice cubes from home as the water they serve is hot.

I wish there was an option to award a rating lower than 1 star which I would have used for a disappointing place like this.I ordered manchow soup for my grandmother. They include the price for extra fried noodles in the bill. From when the restaurants started charging for the extra fried noodles. This place is one of the worst I have ever eaten in at and I am worried that they are comprosing the heath & safety of their clients.My advice to all is to avoid this place even if they offer their sub-standard food for free.

Perfect family place & perfect for North Indian food! So my experience over here was really great with North Indian food and I especially was in love with the Dal Khichadi tadka here! Must try this place as it has great taste and is suitable for family dining.

The food quality is really good and the gulab jamuns were so delicious. The staff is also cooperative. It's the best hotel for vegetarian people.

On the eve of independence day dinner . We used to visit this cosy place. But occasionally. Ambience was always On here. I need to admit service was faster like Airoplane.<br/>We had soup, starters, main courses, Desserts all, and believe me with those menu, we 8 ppls came out within 1 hour 15 minutes precisely. Situated in thane, this place is the best. It's a pure veg restuarant. I especially dont go to veg restos much. But I loved being there. I had been here with my family. All these dishes that the staff suggested were nice.<br/>Paneer sticks and Hara Bhara Kabab for starters. Veg Chatpata and Paneer Lajawab for main course.<br/>The paneer was soft as expected.<br/>Veg Chatpata was a little on spicy side but we loved it.<br/>The naan and roti were not as soft as expected. It was difficult to chew the roti. You need to explicitly ask them either to make it very soft or very crispy. The cost is little bit expensive, but the food is tasty.

We oftenly be to Utsav as its food is very popular and tasty , But This time it was surprisingly sad to be there ! We ordered Pav Bhaji and there was a long thread coming out of bhaji ! This proves the low quality food and irresponsible ! Management should look out for this . Hardly Disappointed.

I do believe that good restaurants always give you positive energy with their delicacies. Ustav is one of the hotel that I visit frequently. Ambience is above average but quality of food is very good. Staff is welcoming n polite. The only thing is bcz it's so famous you need to be patient as their will be always waiting. Its just amazing restaurent i ever tried in Thane. Food was up to the mark. I have tried pasta it was just yummy in taste, cant forget this taste from mouth. Italian starter i have ordered which was also amazing. Chiness food was fantastic. Munchaw soup was the great in taste. I must recomment this place to vaggie lovers. Best option in thane.

Cheers to the best vegetarian restaurant in town. It serves the most authentic dishes from every part of India with a supreme taste of satisfaction. It’s a family restaurant and the service is very quick and top knot. I have had ‘masala pav’ and ‘neer dosa’ for more than 10 times and let me bet on this it’s the best from any other place. Beauty of this restaurant is that it opens early for breakfast and closes late night till dinner. Serves almost everything with the worth of spending every single penny on the dish!

This is a pure veg restaurant just next to the viviana mall at thane. The ambiance is purely like a  typical fine dining restaurant. Service was good. Prices slightly on the higher side. Menu covers almost everything. We liked the north Indian food (tried kofta and a mix veg) and both were quite good. Did not like the naan, the rotis were good. Ordered veg crispy for starter from the chinese section and did not like that at all.

One of those typical restaurants that have a menu involving multiple cuisines...very good ambience...very good place for a family gathering...helpful and courteous staff...giving a 4 as its a bit pricey and some basic preparations were not so good...from my experience the rotis could have been softer and easy to bite but on the contrary, paneer based items were very good :) so its a mixed response from me...

This is definitely one of the finest Veg restaurant in Thane . You need to reach on time or else You will be required to wait in queue (though sitting arrangement is made outside the restaurant) during evening, as this place is generally full of food-lovers for dining! Ambience is good. Overall great place if you want to eat pure vegetarian food! If you are more in numberes, try the one which is beside Viviana mall on eastern express highway!

Brilliant taste, peaceful ambience and always reliable. Utsav is my go to place if I have guests to take for dinner. It's so popular that it may get a little difficult to get a place on weekends but the place deserves all the attention. Papad seekh kebab and koftas are good to try. Long list of cuisines can help the whole family pamper their taste buds at wish.

I have been to Utsav many times and thought of giving a review now to make people aware of the loopholes of this restaurant. (Scores are out of 5)<br/><br/>Service: 5, a lot of waiters to cater to your requests. Food delivery to your table will take maximum 15 minutes from the time of order.<br/><br/>Food: 5, the taste and presentation is really better than what other restaurants offer for the same price.<br/><br/>Ambience: 5, the seating arrangement on level zero is the best but the one upstairs are not so good particularly the area where the height of the ceiling is merely 4 feet. Try to book seats downstairs in advance if you have a party with more than 4 pax.<br/><br/>Tax: GST is the only payable tax by us, but here they levy a service tax which is not mandatory but voluntary. They levy this tax and you can not fight with them after paying. So don't pay until they deduct the additional service tax apart from GST. Any force on you to pay service tax apart from GST is illegal way of generating black money.<br/><br/>Loopholes: We asked them for extra dried noodles that generally comes with soup. With 6 soups they should give at least 5 bowl of dry noodles but they gave only two. Plus, with three Chinese starters they gave one small bowl of shezwan sauce. We explained them that the quantity provided is less and that as per our order they should give more. They agreed and gave what we asked for. And in our final bill they charged us Rs. 60 for shezwan sauce and Rs. 40 for dry noodles. Not only this, the regular water they served tasted as if it is directly taken from the tap. It had a bad smell and sweet and sour taste. Beware.

The ambiance and decor is great. Service is good. I went here with my family on weekend we have to wait as restaurant is full. Food is good with great amount of quantity. Must try gulaab jamun in dessert it's awesome.

It's a pure veg restaurant Ambience is good service 4/5 well served managed u will find it always crowded food is amazing a lot more to try i oftenly visit this place and I ll recommend it if you are a veg lover and for jain it have different kitchen and hygiene is maintain and Jain food is also tasty so give a try 😋🙌

The decor and the ambience is spellbounding such that you will spend hours enjoying your food. The restaurant is huge with banquet at the top floor for private parties. The seating arrangement is very comfortable with broad tables holding familes of six abd few as big as ten members. The lights offer you a calm ambience where adequate focus is put on the privacy as well.<br/><br/>We went for Hakka noodles served with crispy noodles at the top followed by Roti and Veg chatpata. It was tasty but could have been spicy. Then we ordered veg triple shezwan rice where you get the rice mixed with the gravy and manchurian ball all together. The taste was awesome and would definitely like to come again for it. An astonishing ambiance along with tasty food makes it a much recommended restaurant for family dinners.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in town..... Food is amazing with quick service... Their cottage cheese is so good that it melts in your mouth... Loved the food... 😋

Usually there's waiting for about half and hour for this place and due to this you can sense an urgency in the attendants for you to place an order quickly, finish your meals quickly, ack for the bill and leave to make way for others waiting..not so pleasing experience. This place is buzzing and very noisy making it difficult to hold conversations. Also, the tables are too close to each other and 4 seater table is too small to accommodate 4 people comfortably. Anything you order here is well prepared, so don't worry about what to order! But I prefer sticking to Indian cuisine here. The dishes are quite expensive and not commensurate with the overall dining experience.

Hotel Utsav is simply located at Panch pakhadi near prashant corner. Here I tried munchow soup and Beijing soup. We ordered Paneer chilly,veg crispy. The taste of Food is awesome..the quality of food is also good..also the ambience is good.. Great food, average ambience, but very helpful staff. One of the better restaurant's serving pure veg food in Thane area. I have been here 3 -4 times and left with a good impression always.<br/>Prices are on the higher side but comparative variety of food available which more than makes up for it.<br/>Cramped seating arrangements can be a bit of a turnoff for the bigger groups. Ideally 3-4 can be comfortably been seated.<br/>Their deserts section is not well rounded though to be honest. The milkshake, juice and ice cream are bare bones though the quality is good.<br/>Definitely will go for the food if nothing else once again!!

Utsav -It has 2 outlets one is located in panch pakhadi and the other one is near Viviana mall. It is a pure veg restaurant, and Is an amazing place for the vegetarians. The quality and taste of the food is awesome. It is a perfect place to visit with family and friends. The place serves with different cuisine such as Chinese, north Indian etc .All the dishes which we tried were good such as ( rim zim kebab, butter garlic naan,veg bhuna masala, dal khichadi ,paneer etc.) You have an opinion to sit in AC or NON - AC. The main thing to try out is any dish of paneer , as the paneer here is too soft and fresh. The rotis are also soft to eat. The ambience of the place is pretty decent.
