Review The Bombay Dhaba - Thane

Nice Atmosphere. Background singer keeps the ambience live. But this dhaba includes bar and restaurant both. Separate dining area for non-alcoholics. Food is on the costly side. Bill attached in photos. Even Bisleri is sold above MRP. Dhaba is 2-3km away from Mumbra toll (Nasik Highway). Kids play area available.

A very beautiful ambience with live music and good food. Service was fine but bringing food took time. Singer Yashodhan was superb and he made everyone groove to his voice. They have open sitting areas as well as cubicles with Indian seating arrangement. Make sure to reach atleast by 8 - 8.30 pm or you will have to wait for appx 30 - 45 mins. Don't miss the photo booths set up there to take pictures.

Mutton handi and naan were awesome. Rumali masala papad is huge for 3 people to finish. An awesome paan shop right outside dhaba. Parking facility and alcohol available. Separate seating for people not having alcohol. Live music in the evening.

It was a great time that I spent with my family in Bombay dhaba. The food was amazing and a little costly though it will always be crowded on weekends so either go early or find another day to visit this place. You would also enjoy clicking photos here. Just avoid the dining place that they have above the 1st floor it is very congested and not well maintained. Overall it is a good place to celebrate special occasions with ur fam.

The ambiance of the place is so great. The restaurant have many sections including separate sections for family and larger groups. You can also book Machan if you want to enjoy your food with a good view. There is live music everyday and also there is a big screen where you can enjoy watching matches. Speaking about the food, everything was very good. I liked the food and yes the service was bit late due to the rush on weekends, but still it was worth the wait. The staffs there are very friendly, they will help you to choose the best out of their menu. The rates are normal, not that high. Overall the experience was good. Would surely recommend this place. Best day to visit here is on weekends.

The live music makes your time worth while and a great way to spend your eve with family or frnds over delicious food… Highly Recommend their BUTTER GARLIC PRAWNS… The amount of garlic is just perfect… Perfectly cooled shrimps with delicious taste… Also tried their RAWAS TIKKA which comes with 4 pcs… U can try this too… For Mains… try their BUTTER CHICKEN with KULCHAS… Highly recommend the butter chicken for its quantity and richness… End your meal with their Super sizzling brownie with ice cream…. A cool place to hangout with friends and family located 8km away from Thane City on the Nashik Highway. The restaurant is so huge with variety of seating arrangements. It is kids and pet friendly. The place is great for birthday parties or other celebrations. Food is delicious and they have a variety of options to choose from. We had prawns koliwada, chicken dilkush for starter. Both were so good, totally recommend chicken dilkush.. Chicken breast stuffed with cheese and it was super yum! Main course we had paneer lajawab and chicken angare with naan. Absolutely recommend jalebi with rabdi. Over all food was delicious! They have live music everyday, the place has great vibes and courteous staffs.

Since, we were full,we didn't order the the desserts and kept it for some other day.<br/><br/><br/>Bottom Line<br/><br/>Overall the place is perfect for spending a fun time with your family or gang while having a taste of different cuisines all together. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE<br/><br/>I just wanted to bring this to everyone’s notice that the management at Bombay Dhaba is present there to just steal your money in the name of the hospitality industry. So this incident took place with me last week(Feb 2020) . I was with my friends and we had a couple of drinks and were having a pleasant time. Everything was perfect, the food served was tasty and the service was prompt and fast. So when we asked for the bill, we were provided with 2 bills: 1 separate proper bill for the drinks and a separate bill for the food and the final bill amount was hand-written with a pen. When I calculated the amount the final bill amount charged was Rs.100/- more than the actual bill. When I called the manager to speak about it he was very casual in his approach and didn’t even apologize for the mistake. Probably he thought that since everyone is boozed, no one will take the effort to calculate the amount. The matter is not about the Rs.100/-, its about trust which we expect in an industry that is known for this. We had such a wonderful time there that evening, that I was ready to pay more than that as a tip to them. But this incident just pissed me off and I didn't tip them at all. I just want to warn everyone going here to have a good look at the bill since these people are not all trust-worthy and they are there to loot you.

Great place to enjoy with friends

#FoodLovers# Good place to visit during winter.. Dhaba look is perfect and also small ground with lot of equipment to play for childrens. Looking from food point of view we have ordered prawns tawa fry & non veg platter along with chana koliwada.. Taste was not that gr8 according to the expectations.. staff was not coutious enough to serve fresh and hot food. Chana koliwada was worst which we have to change atlast. Main course we had was murgh musallam and naan that was okayish type. Quantity is good but I must say these people need to improve quality.

I have ordered chicken lapeta,paneer lajawab,butter tandoori roti, steam rice and rabadi. All taste really nice.pricing is also average. Live music feels pleasant.over all atmosphere is too good.will visit again to try new dish.

A nice place to have Indian food especially North Indian. The place is well maintained the ambience makes you quite comfortable. The food is awesome. Tried pahadi kabab and dilkhush kebab are highly recommended.

Went for a dinner. Food was below average. Starters were served on a inverted plate for one of our guests. Roti was served in bread plate as well as dinner plate for a single guest. They have put 7 water glasses for our table of 4. Butler failed to serve biryani layers properly, it was just looking like a plate of fried rice. Overall, quality has come down drastically in terms of service also food taste is becoming worse. Once upon a time TBD was good, now not recommended at all. One star for upkeep of surroundings and chargeable kids play areas.

Tandoori wass well cooked with proper masala coating and giving good flavour.chicken curry was medium spicy which i liked with soft chicken.Naan was also good.Overall it was an good experice to have dinner over here.Service was also nice.

Best place for North Indian food it is. As the name itself says dabha...no doubt u IL b visiting here for fresh hot food, and the restaurant is very eager to serve you the same. Was here last night as I was returning back from shirdi. We took a halt at this place for dinner.<br/><br/>The place seemed quite fascinating from outside. As it had nice lightings.<br/><br/>And they had a good setup inside to sit and have fun.<br/><br/>They have some live singing going on which was enjoyable.<br/><br/>I was totally dependent on the stewards to suggest me food.<br/>And I was surely Impressed with whatever I ate.<br/><br/>Dal khichdi really has my heart now !

They have *khatiyas* which give such a nice feel.<br/><br/>I loved their north Indian food. The paneer tikka and the Veg. Hyderabadi biryani was the best. Also gulab jamuns were damn good.

I really like the location of this Dhaba, not too far from the city and far enough for a good drive as well. The place is really well designed and is beautiful which makes it a good weekend getaway dinner.<br/><br/>The menu mainly comprises of North Indian dishes but has other cuisines too.<br/><br/>The taste of the vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters was just delicious. The Chicken was melting and was perfectly cooked. It was really flavoursome and everyone enjoyed. The side orders like beverages was neatly and perfectly prepared too so overall the department of food impressed us.<br/><br/>The quality, quantity and prices of the dishes, all seemed decent. The service was slow but the staff was really nice.

On the way from shirdi to Mumbai I saw this place. It's very huge. They have different type of seatings available. They have very delicious food. It's one the best places I've ever visited.

It's a perfect getaway space for dinner. Located on outskirts of thane its a massive dhaba. It has live music playing. It's has a very awesome vibe. They also serve sheesha and alcohol. The quality of food is mind blowing. The quantity is also very nice. And it's mot very costly too. Great place

Its better to call them and ask if they feel like keeping this place open.<br/>Because last night (9th November 2019), Me and my husband visited "The Bombay Dhaba", but had to go back home.<br/>As soon as we reached, the watchman asked us to leave. My husband asked him "why?", but he murmered something and said its closed and left. I could see many people in there having their meal and it was only 11.00 pm, where it says its open until 1.30 am.<br/>Either the information here is wrong or they didn't find us suitable enough to have food there.<br/>I've been to the most expensive restaurants and the smallest dhabas that I and my friends know but never went empty stomach.

I visited this place yesterday with my friends with a lot of expectations and I was really disappointed!! We chose a place to sit but there were too many bugs and lizards (not even kidding) around us so we told the staff that we would like to change our place but the person whom we spoke to was very rude to us and said we have to pay the bill first and only then we are allowed to change our place so we paid the bill and sat somewhere else. It literally spoiled our mood!! <br/>Talking about the food, well it was okayish!! The biryani was good but the mocktails were too sweet. <br/>Definitely NOT VISITING THIS PLACE AGAIN!!

The location is this place is nice. It's in outskirts. The best part is as soon as you park your car,you get to view a graffiti wall which has complete Bombay on it. Thats the best thing here.<br/>They have two types of seatings. Normal open ground seating and second is Machan. We opted for normal seating as Machans were giving a bit left out feeling.<br/>We went on 2nd Oct and as it was a dry day. There wasn't any booze in our menu. We had ordered : Veg Spring rolls and Chickens starters<br/>The starters were good enough. In the main course, we ordered Baigan Bharta and one chicken gravy,rotis and Dal khichdi.<br/>Out of it Baigan Bharta was not at all good. Suggested by one of my colleagues.<br/>The Bombay dhaba is situated on Mumbai Nashik Highway at Anjur.<br/>The Bombay dhaba is simply amazing place.<br/>The Bombay dhaba is the best place to get Dhaba vibe which includes both Desi dhaba feel plus a restaurant feel.<br/>The Bombay dhaba have huge place and best part I loved is their seating arrangements.<br/>They have 5 Different seating arrangements.<br/>And all five with different themed.<br/>The way they have designed all the decor was amazing.<br/>Lightings and decor as per place which suits everything which provides amazing Modern dhaba i.e<br/>THE BOMBAY DHABA.<br/>They have Many options for foods.<br/>Staff was great they helped us to order the best food.<br/>They suggested us there best Dishe was Amritsar Chole bhature .<br/>And seriously it was Damm good in taste.<br/>In starters we had<br/>Chilli corn cheese balls<br/>Paneer gulistani kebab<br/>And in mains<br/>Veg makhanwalla<br/>Veg Dewani mastani with butter nan.<br/><br/>The best thing was there food was best in taste.and every dishes was their hero each and every dishes have best and we'll garnishment and aroma was amazing.<br/>They have huge range of Drinks.<br/>Thank you The Bombay dhaba for such a amazing service!!!!!

The ambience is nice! Chicken platter is a must try! But prawns did not meet my expectations! Prawns koliwada or prawns chilly a big no no! But u should try chana koliwada & the papad! Thats interesting!😍 And also the sweets items were little too sweet 🤭 but overall food was nice.

Very good experience visiting this hotel first time. Such good abiance , food quality was also good , we ordered kepsa biryani it was damn good . If you are group 5-10 people's looking for enjoyment with average budget this is the good option.

If ur looking for Dhaba and staying in Mumbai then this place is the best. Near to Mumbai easily accessible. Awesome food. We have been there twice. Each time this place has been given much more than expectations. Apart from Punjabi n starters which we get all places, Kadhi pakoda combo was awesome. Best part is Lassi. One lassi is for two people. One cannot finish it alone with food. Staff is friendly and polite. Nice ambience. Overall 5/5

Within the fast paced life of MNC firms we as employees find it difficult to take time of the screens and venture out for team engagement activities. But somehow yesterday after a lot of discussion we had been to The Bombay Dhaba for team dinner located within a 30 mins drive from Kalwa Station.<br/><br/>Location of the Dhaba is well placed on the Mumbai – Nashik highway which could be easily seen by regular commuters and the once willing to go for Dhaba food experience. On the plate they have North Indian, Mughlai, Seafood & Chinese cuisines. Personally I would recommend to go for North Indian cuisine based on my experience as Dhaba food is well known for it. Also within the drinks section there is mocktails, cocktails and hard drinks to opt for.<br/><br/>Food:<br/><br/>1> Mumbai Pani Puri Shots – Just to pass the time while our other dishes were brought we ordered pani puri shots. Again a disappointment would recommended to go for something else in chakna items.<br/><br/>2> Tandoori Pomfret – Quite excited for pomfret to be served on a table as it had been a long time I had fish. As she arrived couldn’t wait to taste it. It was tender but lacked the flavours of masala, spices. Seeing the texture of it looked as if it was tawa fry not the properly cooked tandoor one.<br/><br/>3> Veg Platter – As we had veg colleagues to in majority so veg platter was a good choice to go for. It consisted of two different types of paneer tikka, sweet potato, veg kebabs and corn. Good in terms of quantity but okayish with taste.<br/><br/>4> Pahadi Chicken Tikka – Only dish which I enjoyed throughout the evening. Properly marinated chunks of chicken served along with pudina chutney.<br/><br/>5> Prawns Tawa Fry – A total disappointment with quantity and quality also I wouldn’t recommend to opt for it. Just a few pieces of prawns rest all were garlic. Didn’t felt even once it was a prawn’s dish. Even the prawns not at all prepared properly…too much of salt added to it.<br/><br/>Service: They need to work on the service for sure. After placing the order we kept waiting for almost 20 – 25 minutes for it to be ready. Even once the drinking water was over no one came again to refill it.<br/><br/>Ambience: Proper dhaba experience you could experience. Widely spread with different seating sections. Also there is the Machhan seating for a private dining. Once the sunsets Bollywood music is played in the background. It is kid friendly as well for kids to enjoy the swings and slides.<br/><br/>Food – 3/5<br/><br/>Service – 3/5<br/><br/>Ambience – 4/5<br/><br/>Overall we had a good team bonding after a long time …but I would surely recommend the owners to work on the food and service.<br/><br/>

Bombay Dhaba is located on the Mumbai - Nasik highway. Just after you leave Thane, it comes on your right side and is easily visible. Huge spacious seating. Both ac and non AC sections. They also have macchan facility which is good for a group of 6-8 ppl. Menu is huge and is mainly focusing on North Indian cuisine and Chinese. But we chose north Indian.<br/><br/>What we had:<br/><br/>Creamy Tomato Soup<br/><br/>Tangy and mildly sweet tomato soup topped with croutons. Perfect texture and flavour.<br/><br/>Hara Bhara Kebab<br/><br/>Fried spinacha and potato kebabs flavoured with Indian spices. Good taste but felt they were a bit oily.<br/><br/>Veg Seekh Kebab<br/><br/>Nice moist kebabs with an earthy flavour, tandoored to perfection. A bit spicy but right on flavours. A bit crunchiness from the nuts used. Served with green chutney and onions. Highly recommended!!<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka<br/><br/>Malai Paneer marinated in red masala and tandoored. There was a nice charred flavour to this. Paneer wasn't chewy and had soaked in the marination well.<br/><br/>Methi Malai Mutter and Garlic Nan<br/><br/>My most favourite combination. Loved the sweet bitter flavour of sabzi and yet some sweetness from the cream. Paired with garlic nan which gave a nice contrast in flavours.<br/><br/>Jalebi Rabdi<br/><br/>They have a live Jalebi counter, which means the Jalebi whenever served is piping hot. Hot crispy Jalebi served with saffron Rabdi. Rabdi wasn't very sweet which complimented well with the sweetness of jalebi. Again a must have.<br/><br/>Overall we had an amazing experience. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They even have wheelchair facility for senior citizens. They also have karaoke. A perfect place to unwind over some food and drinks with your friends and family. The place is huge but they still have a long waiting queue. So would recommend to reach on time.<br/><br/>All the best to your team :)

I was returning from shirdi. We took a halt at this place as we found it decent not like normal unhygienic dhabas. Me and my partner both were very hungry. We atlast ordered for a chicken banjara kebab and jeeera rice, dal tadka.<br/>As we were travelling we wanted to have light food only.<br/>The quantity was more than enough for two of us.<br/>The taste took our heart away especially the banjara kebab and dal tadka. It was very very very satisying for our cravings.

Bombay dhaba is on the national nashik-bhivandi highway.<br/>This is one of the best dhaba I've ever visited.<br/>It's close to nature.<br/>The seatings are very well done.<br/>The food here is really yumm and autherntic.<br/>I would definitely recommend the malai kofta and chicken tandoori from here.<br/>The quantity is great according to the price charged.<br/><br/>It's a must visit place with family and big group of friends.

Not value for money! Starters were served cold and service was too slow. Prawns was stale. Spend the money but not satisfed with the quantity and quality<br/>

Been there many times but every time I feel the place is new and food is awesome and once I was very much amazed with live music 🎵 and liked it very much...!!!

A good family restaurant. Does not look like one from outside but it is a genuine family restaurant. Authentic dhaba food. Try their speciality dishes like chicken amritsari, kabsa rice. Really great. Friendly staff. Ample parking space. A little off from city and don't have good delivery service. But a good dine in option.

As the name itself suggests, The Bombay Dhaba is a luxurious Dhaba located at Mumbai Nashik high. It's easily commutable from Kalyan and Thane as well.<br/><br/>It has a best atmosphere to be with family or friends. Ambience has a feeling of cherisment and joy with play around for kids and cottage as sitting arrangement for older ones. A big thumps up for it's row house arrangement which is the attraction.<br/><br/>Taking about food, it's bt highly priced but 110% worth for it. We arrived at Bombay Dhaba for lunch on a rainy day. Expecting to relish good north Indian non vegetarian fare based on the reviews but unfortunately we left before ordering anything. The ambience, lack of cleanliness, shabby looking washrooms were an immediate put off. We left without ordering anything, hence no comments on the food or service. Wish it was more cleaner, probably after the monsoons we might give it another try.

Bombay dhaba is the best place to visit if you are a North Indian foodlover.<br/>I had malai kofta and butter naan because someone suggested me to try it.<br/>I was here just for the malai kofta.<br/>And yes the food was served hot and sinful.<br/>I guess I've never loved Malai kofta like this before

Being At the Bombay dhaba, where i had my first experience of dinning.<br/>Believe me it's way too good that sitting in those air-conditioned restaurants. <br/>Here they have khatiyas and chairs. Make u Feel like you are close to the nature kinda thing. <br/>But the food is outstanding here especially the malai kofta and the chicken banjara kebab. These are the two dishes you should/must have if you are here. <br/><br/>The service is really quick because they have guests always coming as it's on the highway.

Best place to hangout with your friends and family. Good taste and quick service at it's best!<br/>Also parking facility is available.<br/>Must visit 👍
