Review Grand Thali - Thane

VISHAL K
Very good veg thali restaurant in Thane. All dishes were tasty. Less crowded due to high pricing (Rs 650 pp) is a blessing in disguise. Hospitality is top notch. Service is very fast. Hygiene and cleanliness maintained very well. Parking available at basement for free. You need to park the car in squeezed area during parking since space is limited.

Excellent Thali! The taste and quality of all the items was absolutely bang on! There was a huge rush being Diwali holidays yet we got a table after about a waiting of only around 15mins. Good arrangements for waiting as well. The service is lovely and quick. Food is served hot & fresh.
TRUSHANT SAGVEKAR
A perfect place for a family function. The services provided by the hotel are very good. The staff is also well behaved. The decorations for the function were well managed. The hall provided by the hotel are spacious.

This is very famous restaurant in Thane and surrounding area, serving full meal thali. The rates are higher, but taste is awesome. Plenty of food is available and people not able to consume it fully waste the food. Service is quick and ambience is nice.

A restaurant located on 3rd floor of TipTop Plaza. It is near Teen Hath Naka and serves Thali. Valet parking is available and it is such a convenience. Talking about food, it is absolutely Good and tasty. We were served with several delicacies and each one of them had great taste. The service was fairly fast. The restaurant and its signature Thali is popular and it attracts sizeable amount of crowd especially on weekends. If one wants to visit the restaurant, you should be early bird and then you will get the seat. A nice restaurant to visit with family and friends. They serve Full Thali as well as a Thali for kids below 10 years. Prices of the Thali are high. Still a place worth of visit if you are a Thali person.

Tip top Thali is a must visit place with family ๐Ÿ’•Awesome food, Courteous staff. They ll serve u with lots of love โค๏ธ. Ample of time is given with family to make good memories. Stay blessed

With my family we ordered the famous Amras Thali in Tip-Top plaza. It was very delicious. Though being a crowded place very well managed. A great place for one kind of buffet lunch/dinner with family at very reasonable cost. They have a Valet parking service available, so you enjoy your food peacefully while your car safely parked. Itโ€™s kind of a pre-pay food, you need to mention number of members with you and they charge you as per the decided rate for the day for that particular menu. Overall a very decent experience with ambience, food & hospitality. Food is typically if Gujarat origin so not that spicy. Donโ€™t miss your welcome drink available at the entrance. Enjoy your food, do like my review if helpful. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Delicious food and excellent service Had been planning for a while now, and we (family) finally were at Tip Top Grand Thali Restaurant. Parking was easy and well guided. Table allocation was quick and the thali was in front of us. Food items started pouring in one by one as they would name the dish and then serve it with approval. For starters, this was the best Hara bhara kebab we have had, masaledar papad with peanuts was yummy snack. Hot puris, phulkas, roti were excellent with aloo, paneer and the matki usal. The semi-sweet kadi, dahi vada, and dal were yum too. Solkadi and chaas was ok (have tasted better ones). Pulav, and plain rice served with dal and ghee was superb. Then the finale - rasgulla with something like rabadi, malai sandwich were yummy. Overall ambience was good and service by the staff was warm. Would really recommend this place for a yummy and memorable vegetarian food time with family.

Overwhelming Joy! Yes it is. Everything in platter looks mesmerizing and unavoidable. Brilliant place to dine in if you looking for an authentic and traditional experience. I paid my bill worry INR 630 all inclusive but is it worth? Let's check it out. I dined @hoteltiptopplaza more than 10 times after my first collaboration. But I paid my own bills everytime before arriving at this review. Located at Thane West, Extern Express Highway a few minutes away from Korum Mall. Tip top plaza is a famous spot for conducting any events whether it's small size or big fat weddings. They also have a glorious sweet shop under their own Brand name on ground floor serving lot of varieties and seasonal sweet dishes. Obviously I headed to the Thali Restaurant on 3rd Floor. Something which I am always excited for. Sprawling space, easily accommodates large groups also. You see staff will welcome you with smile and welcome drink also. Pani Puri counter is at entrance. If you love to start eating on tongue twisting note. The quality is phenomenal. Undhiyo was outstanding and didn't feel dry at all. Matki Usal had a Maharashtrian flavor. Extra Farsan was served and I feel I am getting addicted to Cheese Balls. Roti was hot as was Puri and Paratha. My focus was on Puri more. Meetha Dal was alluring and home style. Kadhi Khichadi is a winning combination. Thali is huge and below was the spread from start to finish. Kokam Sharbar had a floating salted boondi taste best along with Chaas to cool you down. Dahi Vada, Corn Tikki, Kaman Dhokla, Veg Cigar Roll, Paneer Pocket, Cheese Spinach Corn Ball In Mains - Unavoidable Surti Undhiyo, Mutter Paneer, Matki Usal, Aloo Tamatar Rassa, Dal, Kadhi, Fulka Roti, Puri, Paratha Grand Finale - Gajar Halwa, Mali Sandwich, Basundi, Rose Roasted Halwa, Akhrot Halwa. Last couple of desserts served extra to take me on next level of ecstacy. I will personally recommend you to try and taste everything (ofcourse looking at your diet and sugar restrictions) and you won't go wrong with any choice. Staff is absolutely hospitable. Didn't find any lags in services. Absolutely Overwhelmed with Joy and Happiness.

Used to be 5/5 but now number of items in the thali have been drastically reduced whereas the price has increased
Gopal Rao
The food was excellent. But the servers serve food very fast and give less time to enjoy your meal.
Prathamesh Zute
Been here just once. The ambience is very good and the food serves here is delicious. They serve rajasthani and gujarati cuisine here. All the items in the thali are perfectly made.

A decent place with ample seating and good ambience.. but the food and service is not upto the mark and expectations

Tip top is one of the oldest outlet that comes in the premium category for the thali section. They offer great thalis at a nominal pricing of 500-700. The food is also amazing out here.

This place is packed on most of the holidays. Lots of options to eat here. What i liked the most were paneer lasooni, Undiyo, puri and parathas with dal tadka and there were other options in dal i.e gujarathi dal and kadhis. There were 3 options in rice 1. Steamed rice 2. Palak Rice and 3. Dal khichadi. All three were good in taste with dal khichadi the best in taste with some ghee on it. A good place to eat some good food with friends and family if you want a vegetarian place.
Percy Doctor
Prices mentioned here are wrong its Rs.570 per thali.
Deepak
They have smartly done fusion of their fast food menu with Thali menu.ย  This is excellent forย  attracting young generation.ย  My son really enjoyed pasta and pizza given in Thali, otherwise i was worried whether he will like thali or not.Nice experience.
Bhavik Mehta
This place serves very good thali. There are numerous options available in each food item of the thali. Itโ€™s a good restaurant to visit for a family get together.
The_Fooditor
I have visited tip top grand thali many times. Even hosted a birthday party there once. Nice place for family events. Food is veg and gujarati. The sign language between the servers is impressive. Dahi vada, puran poli, fulka, paneer sabji , daal khichdi, chhas are all good. Very filling lunch / dinner. The other side is all fast food buffet. But i prefer the thali. A must visit place once you are in thane LBS.
#BeerWithMePls
Went in here with a large group of family members for lunch on a special day. Everything except the person who shows you to tables was great. Since we were 16 pax in total, we were waiting for some ppl to reach. Well, turns out we cant sit on the table coz if we sit they WILL serve. All this on an empty dining hall!<br/><br/>Coming to food, no complaints to be honest. Good spread, served well. They had some offer going in Mumbai mirror so we used it.

Hey,<br/><br/>Had been here on 15th aug and since it was a national holiday the place was crowded till the end.<br/><br/>Managed to find a reservation to enjoy the grand thali.<br/><br/>We opted for the buffet one as it was less crowded. The menu was same on both the ends. Just mattered by the service.<br/><br/>Menu :<br/>Pickles<br/>Moong salad<br/>Mix veg mayo salad<br/>Corn pizza<br/>Paneer pizza<br/>Dahi wada<br/>Aloo wada<br/>kheer<br/>Puran poli<br/>Rasgulla<br/>Cham cham<br/>Roti<br/>Parantha<br/>Puri<br/>Aloo methi<br/>Paneer pahadi<br/>Malai parwal<br/>Chaas<br/>Son kadhi<br/>Churmuri papad<br/><br/>Over it was good one but have eaten better thalis<br/>Did not find it worth the money.<br/><br/>Food was good as well as hygienic.<br/><br/>Service was too slow too.<br/><br/>Malai parwal and puran poli was the best out of all.<br/><br/>Wanted to have pizza but they closed the counter very soon.<br/>Counters for many of the items were closing inspite of people still having their lunch and refilling it.<br/><br/>Hope to see a change soon.

This was one of my favourite thali restaurant.. but from past 3 to 4 times of my visit the quality of food has gone to pathetic level.<br/>Miss the old food quality of tip top..<br/>Try to get back with ur quality
Preeti K
Good place to enjoy vegetarian thali..they have a fusion of Gujarati and Marwadi food..being an old place it has managed the food quality as earlier..the farsans, main course and desserts were upto the mark..also they have very courteous and humble staff..overall a nice experience

It is completely different type of Hotel like for family function or for some family parties. N yes it is perfect and awesome for the party with family. The interior of the hotel completely adorable or even you can say breathing. And also it is more famous because of its Indian dishes.<br/>Not only interior and food but also the staff is friendly to every customer.<br/>N because the place or the hall of the dinning is grand.<br/>Must visit with family. I swear u will enjoy at this place and also love the taste of the food.

Nice place.. Prime location... Food quality is also good.. We hand mango thali here.. Taste is good.. People are nice.. Aamras was super awsm..our thali had unlimited aamras, methi paratha, puri,roti,halwa,3 subjis, dal tadka, kachori, sweet, dahiwada, mocktail juice, chhas and many more. I dnt remember all dish names..methi paratha and aamras is what i like most<br/><br/>Overall<br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Ambience -4/5<br/>Cost-5/5<br/>

Being from North, could just understand Dal and Paneer<br/>But the best thing about the thaali is definitely Aamras<br/>Heard a lot about the place so had to try and you should go too if you are a fan of Marwari/Gujrati cuisine
Prachi Devdhar
Both thali and multi cuisine buffet are very very good. Service is so fast and the food taste is to another level. Desserts and welcome drinks served in buffet are outstanding. When in thane this thali is recommended.
Anant Ghangurde
I have always liked this place for their concept. This is the first unlimited Thali restaurant I had been to (of course a few years ago). The taste is very authentic with a lot of choice of items. Also the seating capacity is huge with big tables for large groups/families. There is a waiting time though if you donโ€™t reserve in advance. The food has variety and the taste satisfies you. Good place to go with your family and enjoy a heart filling Thali.
Thakkar
Recently been there with my team for official lunch amazing delicious thali being a gujju just loved every variety they have served .. lovely time
Moni Baranwal
I used to stay at Tip Top plaza during my official stay in Thane.Breakfast used to be nice since we had huge varieties.my favourite used to be south Indian dishes -idli.also typical maharastrian delicacies-Poha,sabudana bada, upma which used to be yummy ..a simple dining experience

Love โค๏ธ<br/>This is place is on the top list of my to-eat list whenever I feel like having something good<br/>Best thali<br/>Too much to eat๐Ÿ˜‚<br/>That one can't even eat it whole๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Soham Pradhan
It was one of the amazing elite and authentic thali<br/>Food quality was amazing and was served with great amount of love must try the authentic Indian thali
Purvi Bisht
I have been going to this place since a decade. But in my last few lunches here, we noticed the quality and variety has got very poor. There is no Italian or Chinese variety served with lunch anymore. Dhokla, pakodas, veggies nothing felt upto the mark and felt rather stale. We all were quite disappointed today :(
Subrat Bisht
The quality of food has definitely gone down. The Sunday thali menu used to be pretty extensive, but no longer. The dhokla today was dry and dahi wada felt rubbery. The veggies served were potato, paneer , undhiyu and moong as dry vegetable ( used to be better selection). They have stopped serving pizza slices and pasta salad for Sunday menu, which was pretty disappointing. Can be avoided next time, low on value for money.
Akshay Bhosekar
I had grand thali here and its simply awesome.Food quality,Staff, ambiance everything is nice. Its a good place for family functions and parties
Somdutta Nath
Not recommend At 540 they offered 4 types of dal 2 sweets 1 paneer and 1 alooki sabji with 2starters.<br/>And amazing thing is after 3 phulka's every member of my family felt their stomach getting bloated.......I dunno maybe they are adding soda<br/><br/>taste -1/5<br/>variety-1/5<br/>value for money -1/5<br/><br/>If you are a vegetarian AND reside in thane try Veg SIZZLE'S restaurant.
Shreya Shetty
Had come for Diwali dinner only to know that they have discontinued the buffet service. Please do not adhere to the details given here, they are not updated. Only thali is available.
Himanee Sanaye
They serve wide variety of mouth watering starters which includes pizza as well. The desserts are also really good. We had variety of sweet. Very few places in Mumbai that serve vegetarian food and I still like going there :) This is definitely one of them.one thing I missed was when I was young we had tried a khichadi which was the special dish of this place as this time did not get it. Hoping to taste it when visit for the next time
Neerav Mody
Great quality food. Have been visiting since the days the Thali cost Rs. 70.<br/>Disappointed of late because they have increased the price to around Rs. 550 and reduced the items in the Thali. Sweets, Vegetables - all have been cut down. They have shut down their fast food thali (which, again was amazing), and have started giving pizza and pav bhaji in your lunch/dinner thali. Come on, who gives such things in a Gujarati Thali? Have stopped recommending. Lots of other options for a Thali these days.
Tejtj
Have been visitin dis place since a kid.. Al our family's functions, festivals r at dis place..!!! Its a part of a ritual. Tip Top Thali s a part of our family...!!!
Lakshmi
Buffet is really good here with vast variety of food. Do try rajasthani food as I was accompanied with marwadi friend and was told by my friend that it was very close to authentic food.
Setu Joshi
Food is great , specially for gujrati people , they are famous for sweets , service got low in weekends , suggesting to visit in Weekdays after 2o clock
Maahi Kaushik
i was in mumbai last week and we had a wonderful n delicious Thaali with my friends. We will definitely come back to Grand thali during our next visit to mumbai. Grand is like hidden gem. I highly recommend everyone who stays in Mumbai. Again i am saying this is the best Thaali i have ever had.

Havenโ€™t been to tip top plaza , at teen haath naka. Have 2 queries. 1- is parking available , 2- can we share that huge Thali in 3-4 people...??<br/>
Psycho Chef
One of the best place for vegetarian food!!!<br/>You'll get authentic india food specially gujarati & jain food. They are best for their sweets NO DOUBT!!!<br/>
Tableforthree
This place is famous for its unlimited thali/ buffet. But let me start off by saying that they are ridiculously over priced! I've visited this place multiple times, and the food is okay... But for just Veg Thali, they do not provide the diversity needed in their menu to keep you coming back... and did I mention that's its 500+ Rs a pop!! Now coming to the food they offer, it's okay... Not too good, not too bad. Staff is extremely polite, service is good. Ambience is good. But I feel like there are a lot of other great options in Thane that would offer you amazing food for a lot less money. Wouldn't recommend it.<br/><br/>Food: 2/5<br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>Service: 3.5/5<br/>Quantity: 3.5/5<br/>Price: 2/5<br/>
Foodmania
My family and all my non vegetarian friends family come here specially for veg food. Thali eating outside is not in my liking. But what to do our families love it here. Good ambience and service.

Nice variety of food.. very polite staff .. nice ambience .. season speciality is good .. quality of food is good .. taste is good .. overall very good restaurant for family dining and Pure vegetarians
Amit Nayak
Good Gujarati and Rajasthani food. Thali becomes too heavy but is well worth the cost. Food os prepared with appropriate ghee and is served hot. Love the taste here
Atul More
Located in panch pakhandi..... famous for its Italian food....veg and non veg both foods are available.... service is very nice..... service 4/5....<br/>Ambience 4/5..... overall my experience was great and you must visit here.<br/>
Siddhesh Shelke
The buffet dine out by tiptop is best. But try to have the quantity sufficient as i had to wait for over 15 min for pav bhaji as it was out of stock. Also try for more sweets / south indian cuisine
Anup Kumar MC
Very quick service, a tad bit too quick I feel. The food is good, slightly better than Rajdhani in Thane, if I may compare. It's value for money if a veg thali is what you wish to have.
Anand Jethwani (dontblamebelly)
Location: in between thane and Mulund......road connecting to panch pakhadi...the outlet size is huge..... quite spacious...... they can even arrange for a grand function like marriage, baby shower, birthday bash,etc...<br/>Staff: they are quite organized and know their job well...<br/>Food: had a buffet with my family.....it was a complete package of food family for us....Go and get experience it ur self... One of the best dinings available in the city for a complete family.... You will always find the place crowded.... Full marks to the team.... Happy eating...
Sushant Belapurkar
This place is good. Good ambience. But they charge Rs 540 for nothing. They offer vegetables like potato, paav bhaji, paneer and cabbage..nothing special veg. menu. Then why 540? Just for aamras and small sweet? Also nothing is so great in taste. It tastes OK. Food which they offer deserves not more than Rs. 300.
Taste Of Food
Recently I was visited this place .many times I tried deferent thali place but this place didn't have kind of food. Less verity limited options embience is not good.fill like marriage hall .<br/>Food. 3/5<br/>Service 3/5<br/>Embience 2/5<br/>Value of money 1/5<br/>Suggestions pls improve verity.l.<br/>Rate Is very high<br/>Not recommended..

When i feel like eating away for an unlimited point of time this place is on top of my mind. Aptly called Tip Top ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ totally enjoy the food out here especially the Aamras. Veg food but still enjoyable ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ
Ishita Aggarwal
Extremely amazing food. The starter, main course and dessert is absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for a family lunch or dinner then this is the best spot.<br/>At just 530 per person you get unlimited thali!<br/>Must visit!
Sameer Gambhir
It's quite crowded on Sundays. The person taking your booking is very arrogant and desperately needs training. He is very bad mouthed especially with ladies and needs to be taken to task for this. One thing is sure that when people patronize the food at Tip Top, they should be respected unlike what this gentleman did. I am at this place with my family today ie on 27th May 2018, Sunday.
Mandar Chavan
We had been here for multi-cuisine buffet. It started with chat items and ended with desserts. We had dosas, pizzas, pav bhaji, ice creams, gulab jamun and other variety as per their menu. The ambience was good and cool. We went on a weekday, but then too it was crowded. The staff was courteous and polite. They were quick. On some counters it was self-service.
Dev
Not great food. The menu on display is fantastic as always. But it's only when you start eating that you realise that you cannot eat more than a handful. Worth a miss. There are many great options in Thane.
Drishti Tank
The food is ok but again it has soo much soda in it that with in few bites you will feel full. You won't even be able to eat more than 3 rotis. They have too many options which is not that necessary. It feels like a waste because you can't really taste anything properly. They have excess of starters such as pizza or noodles or something else which is again not necessary. The sabji that they serve is not authentic Gujarati. It's has more Punjabi than Gujarati. The price of the thali is too high. If you are looking for authentic Gujarati thali then Kansar is any day better than this. Not bad over all but very expensive and the food quality can be made better.
Dhruvi Chandarana
A thali with good taste and unlimited sweets.. Aam ras lovers should try this during summers. A perfect welcome drink with lots of variety to fill your tummy!!!
Niranjan
A good mix of Gujarati and Rajasthani Dishes. Great ambience and well managed. The ambience gives a premium feel. Surely a bit costly, but it's worth it.<br/>If you can't shell out that much, there's a buffet section adjacent which is priced lower
Nishant Sanghrajka
One of the best thali i have eat in my life. Tip Top plaza is near by my house and i all the people who where serving us were also polite and knowledgeable when to come
Genuine Buoy
Nice place with really good quality food. I was surprised at the variety and unique taste of each item. Ambiance is great. Service is fast and friendly. They pay attention to details and even ask for preferences. Do give it a try!
Disha Uchil
So much of variety of Gujarati foods in a single thali is just so amazing ๐Ÿ˜ You must be prepared for the food marathon that will begin as soon as you take your seat๐Ÿ˜‚ From appetiser to sweet dish everything was just sorted. Unlike other so call Gujarati restos this serves less of main course which are sweet ๐Ÿ˜ Doooo try for the experience ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Neeraj Palta
Excellent place the Gujarati thali is simple and tasty. The service of the hotel is good the pizza here are crispy and cheese. Rabdi is the must you should try. Had a great time here.
Vivek Sharma
Below average food. Most of the items are tasteless. To call it Gujarati or Rajasthani food is a farce. Sweets were ok considering this belongs to Tip Top group. Service is slow which doesn't go with thali food. Just that I don't sound harsh, rajdhani food just averages to get a 3 rating from me. The photos on zomato on ambience are misleading.. The actual place is worse off.. Seems like sitting in a canteen.
Chinmay Tank
Was super hungry and my wife wanted to have only starters so we decided to drop by this place.... I decided to have a thali and wife decided to have buffet which includes starters alone..But unfortunately to our surprise we were denied to sit together ...We generally go out to eat to have outside food and spent quality time together with our loved once but if the restaurant says no to sit together it's super dissappointing...And never ever come accross such issue in any place.... Needed to move out of the place and dropped by one of the good places in I.e pha sai food atleast they respect there customers.so guys if u don't wish to sit together please visit this place .I am giving one rating as the person did atleast talk by denying..Otherwise it would be zero..
VIKASH
The manager was denying that we have no link to zomato and he was alleging Zomato that they do anything. Very rediculous to see that the manager was saying that the restaurant has stopped order when we reach at 10.45pm while the closing time was 11.15 as per Zomato.<br/><br/>Poor reach to the customer.
Akash Panchal
Fortunate enough to have this delicious outlet close to my residence.Been here for years now, they have improved in terms of everything.Grand thali serves you with gujarati and rajasthani delicacies.Every item served is simple yet so tasty. It includes-1 complimentary drink,chaas,papad,3 types of starters,pizza,4 types of sabji, puri, roti, vegetable paratha,2 types of dal(dal fry, gujurati dal),gujurati kadhi,3 types of sweet.Never ending craves for the grand thali!Rating this place 4 & not 5 because, service is very fast, they should learn to serve a little slow so that customers wont feel a hurry!
Ashay Kully
I happen to attend a wedding reception here recently and I was mesmerized by the buffet service provided by the Hospitality team:) <br/><br/>Inspite of being a buffet I was served every cuisine on the table.. That's why they deserve the 3 star hotel rating!<br/><br/><br/>The cuisine was North Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Italian, Desi Chaat and Deserts .<br/><br/>There was lucknowi Paani Puri which was very unique<br/>The Kheer was mouth watering.<br/>The pizzas were amazing! The garlic butter naan was so tempting I had 3 of those with Paneer Tikka and other main course.<br/>The chaas was yummy :D <br/>The veg Biryani was surprisingly quite tasty with the Raita and curry. <br/><br/>The Oreo icecream was a perfect desert to end this grand multicuisine meal:) <br/><br/>I had a great time, I was treated with great respect and it was a pleasurable experience!

A must visit place for all the thali lovers...<br/>Probably the best ever gujrati and marwadi cuisine available in mumbai/thane area.the staff is also polite...they need to slower their services a bit so that we can eat properly !!!!the service is so fast that u need to keep a hand on the thali suggesting u dont need any more ! Sweets, farsans, sabjis, kadhis everything is tasty!<br/>Go for it!

Gujarati thali at this place on a Sunday afternoon will for sure give you a good-afternoon sleep!<br/><br/>The thali consists of chapati, puri, 4 types of vegetable curries, 3 farsan items, 3 sweets, 2 types of daals, Kadhi, buttermilk and jaljeera... ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ข It's never-ending but wow!<br/><br/>#gujaratifood #foodie #foodieme #food #foodphotography #foodblog #foodblogger

The food was good but was expecting much better for the cost. The tables could've been more cleaner.. For the cost paid i would suggest look for another place. Still its a good experience.

The best part is each item has a taste and tastes good. The staff is awesome. Been there about a dozen times in the last two years and I have always had a great dining experience.
Shailesh Kumar
The food is very average. Not recommended for food lover... food does not connect to soul . The cost should be less than Rs 300. But environment and staffs are good.
Foodie Girll
Best place to taste so many varieties of foods at once. Grand thali contains various items which is so tasty..so nice staff, quick services..unlimited food.

Heard about this place from a friend, she sent me a pic which was unbelieveable.<br/><br/>I love eating thalis and this was a thali with over 40 or so things I guess. Was absolutely amazing to experience so many flavours in one meal.
Chirag Panchal
Awesome experience. They serve very good Gujarati thali. One can satisfy they cravings. Also, the multi- cuisine buffet is delicious. We were planning to visit this place for a long time now.

It's a great place... Superb ambience classy food... Hot and fresh food served.. They start with panipuri which actually kills ur hunger. But the huge list of dishes are really tempting... Noodles and pizza served was just awesome. The fruit punch and moong daal halwa was great.. Aam ras was cherry on the cake.. All sabzis were lip smacking... Great place to go for a grand royal dinner...

Superb . The variety presented in Thali is Jaw-Dropping !! Sit like a King & Enjoy the dishes . In every visit , only the Menu changes , not the taste . The Taste is Properly Maintained to satisfy anyone's Taste Buds . A great Variety is served on a big Circular Plate a.k.a. THALI. And when u are done with everything , then comes the soft , buttery & delicious Khichdi . The Sweet is also Delicious . Recently , they added some international dishes in the Menu , but without spoiling the Taste . Perfect for Veg Lovers as well as for Thali Lovers . One should visit this place with the Family & Relatives. The TipTop Plaza building also has Accommodation Facilities , Banquet Hall & a Sweet Shop . So plan your next visit to this place soon.

As it's name suggest..It's really Grand in all aspects..Oh yes..Really all aspects..<br/>Ambience is enchanting and really good atmosphere.<br/>Food is delicious if you're a pure vegetarian.. <br/>Only a Thali at one side..and other all cuisines at opposite..If you choose thali then you don't have to eat whole day after..<br/>Service is too good and humble..a perfect family place I must say..

Good place for a thali food lover. there are two choices ,one ย is gujrati thali and another is live counter serving you alll snacks item. Live counter is available during dinner time.<br/>Best option when you crave for that gujrati thali with so many item or to eat unlimited street food from live counter.ย <br/>Best vegetarian ย place for big family or friends meal .

Tip Top is perhaps the first High Profile Thali outlet in Thane. Sometimes over hyped. <br/><br/>Service is excellent, but the recipes could definitely do better and needs a good Chef to look into it being changed.<br/><br/>Thali menu also can do good , my suggestion. The sweets served have lot of colours hence avoid the dry sweets, especially the fusion Mithais .<br/><br/>Overall ok .

Great food comes with great price <br/>But being here at this place all this rumours comes to rest<br/>Thali covers a lot of variety where you will be confused as to what to eat and what to leave <br/>All items have a very authentic preparation and you will feel the aroma of that food <br/>Good place for getting good homely food

First of all the address needs to be updated, this restaurant is on the 3rd floor of Hotel Tip Top.<br/>Well I was out looking for a Saturday brunch, sticking out like a sore thumb.<br/>Once you've bought a token and got seated they will start serving you in rounds. For starters there was Dahi vada, jaljeera, pizza, pasta, chaach and chutneys. Then if you've had your fill then they will serve you with poori's, butter roti's and various types of veggies & sweet dishes. I skipped some as I'm not much of a sweet tooth. While rice being part of my staple diet continued on to their rice dishes. Here there's two options for khichdi then plain rice. There's masala & plain khichdi then plain rice & tomato rice and all these with an option for ghee.<br/>The service was excellent and quick so much that I didn't even get to absorb this place's ambience. I filled myself so fast that I couldn't go for a repeat ๐Ÿ˜<br/>And for the finishing there was a rasagulla type sweet, god! tasted a bonglike sweet after so many days (not that maida types which Haldiram's sells). <br/>All in all, the food was worth the money infact one could give them a run for their money ๐Ÿ˜œ

I have been twice as i am Gujju and wanted to try other than Rajdhani!!<br/><br/>Food quality is very good. Service is also good. Many non gujarati dishes are also included like pizza pasta which i dont like in gujarati thali. Sweet was awesome.<br/><br/>Hotel staff suggest to eat panipuri before thali. It is good but if you eat pani puri you will not be able to enjoy the food as it has lots of variety.<br/><br/>Overall good experience!

The location and Ambience is good, you need to taken token first then you can have chaat/pani puri which is near to counter then have seat...waiters will start serving food. I like starter like paneer baby samosa, pizza... curries/sabjise are just ok, chapati puries and sweets are also good, no paan or mint soaf not served on table, bit expensive<br/>Would like to visit again,

From a bachelor who is home sick to the entire bunch of little kids in our family, all walk out happy after having this Thali. It is grand, it is labish and totally filling. Perfect restaurant setting, although they can use some music or other entertainment options to up the ambience, the beautiful Thali Restaurant completely sums up a great luncheon! I vote a 3.5/5

Great taste with variety of choices.. Every item well prepared and authentic in taste. This thali is far more better than brands like Rajdhani and Maharaja. In all worth every penny.

It was a great experience. The food was delicious. Service was amazing. A great place if you go with your family. I loved the fact that they took special efforts to make Jain dishes(on demand).

Been to tiptop for many wedding functions and food was good everytime so we decided to try their thali. We tried their fastfood thali. Ambience is good. They have variety of food including panipuri, pizza, sandwich, noodles, soup, pasta, pavbhaji, singapore rice, 2-3 types of dosa. But they hardly provide anything in desert section. They were having 2 bengoli sweets and they were bad in taste they should atleast provide pastry etc in desert. Food was ok nothing extraordinary. Taste was ordinary. Service and staff was ok. If you want to test all fastfood under one roof you can give it try but food is not enjoyable

Good ambience, nice taste for one time try, since the taste and menu does not change. Been there 3 times but found the same dish. Service is to fast, this is a good quality but they should give time to breath for eating.

The food at Grand Thali is one of the most elaborate Indian feasts with an eclectic collection of farsans (starters), dry vegetable preparations, lentils, kadhi, main course dishes along with rotis, rice, green chutneys, papad, salad and lots more!!! ย The ambience is what makes it even special and the food is very affordable which makes a great dining experience for us. A must visit for everyone, especially the Gujarati food lovers.

Great food!!! Lives up to the name grand.... Loads of choices here. The kachoris were my favourite. They have added some fusion elements like pizzas and desserts like a Bengali take on rasmalai, walnut halwa and welcome drinks etc. The service is fast and the place is spacious so no problems about noise and crowding!!
