Review Woodland Retreat - Thane

Rituka Nakhawa
Budget friendly and tasty food. We tried, Executive thali, Sherpa rice, Paneer crispy. The service was quick for thalis but if you order anything apart from that it requires minimum 25 to 30 mins for the order. A must try place for budget friendly and tasty thalis.

Good cozy place to hang around for a quick bite 🌟🌟 The restaurant was neat (except washrooms) 🌟 Staff was courteous 🌟🌟🌟 It was super chilled when we entered melting due to heat outside 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Food was good but not excellent !! Didn't like their Paneer tikka Dosa was good with nice hot sambhar 🌟🌟 Only thing I don't appreciate is their unhygienic washrooms 👎👎

Great old place...still serves the tasty food..d Famous for its south Indian dishes and are super tasty too. They have a huge list of regular customers which shows the quality of food they server. Service is fast, staff is polite..must visit place for all the food lovers. Chinese is also good... But paneer tikka was not at all good try avoiding it

Went for my friend's birthday Amazing food Do try their south indian food it's yum
Technophobic
It is a great place for small functions roughly 100 people. Food is good and the hall stage is nicely decorated. Ac is good washrooms are clean. The only issue i feel is limited parking as it is on the main lbs road. Lot of traffic, prefer public transport.
Hitesh Joshi
Multiple small events can be hosted simultaneously as they have many rooms. Parking can be little cumbersome considering limited parking avl. Other event noise may disturb if has big sound or music

The South Indian food here is really really good. Service is sleepy and frustrating at times but the food makes up for it. There's a little parking too.
Durvesh Sawant
Went for lunch after a bit of shopping nearby. Searched on map and found to have good rating. But it was totally worth going there. Amazing south indian food at very reasonable price. Dosa was too good. Sambar also was very tasty.

Aliona Grama
Best veg restaurant in Thane as far as food quality, quantity, service, atmosphere, and prices are concerned. Best paneer dishes and garlic naan in town.
Sunita Choudhary
Absolutely enchanted by the serene ambiance and delectable dishes at Woodland Retreat Restaurant. A must-visit for anyone seeking a tranquil dining experience.

Very bad service...day by day the standard is going down. They exchanged my parcel and after complaining ,the person came to pick it up without my food...saying it will come in 10mins and they sent me the same parcel with nice and cold food. After complaining and returning the Parcel the Manager was so rude and to top it all the delivery boy says "janedo woh parcel nahi chahiye ,nahi khana hai toh dustbin mein fek do...These people are completely unprofessional and the staff...instead of apologizing throw attitude which is not acceptable.

Easily the best veg hotel in Thane. The South Indian food is obviously out of this world but even the North Indian is excellent. I never miss eating their Rasam Vada. Perfect place for a family dine out. They also have lovely banquet halls for your family functions and parties. All you guys in Mulund & Thane pls try this place out.
RAHUL KATHURIA

Woodland is a very good family place. Good for lunch or dinner. Like their meals or thali and mini vada and sambar. Service is quick and value for money for a vegetarian place. Very well located and has good waiting area.<br/>Recommend for family dinner.

On a recent official visit to Thane, I happened to eat rasam vada which was amazing in taste and enjoyed sipping the last spoon of rasam !<br/><br/>Filter coffee was the second item I liked and I being a south Indian, know the quality of coffee served in different South Indian Restaurants in Mumbai. Woodland Retreat didn't disappoint me and deserve thumps up for yummy rasam vada and delicious kaapi !!!<br/><br/>Woodland is the hidden gem in Thane for south Indian dishes<br/>
Chaitanya Gadgil
Possibly the Worst place in Thane. The water here was filthy and unclean. We even called the manager thrice but no one came to attend us. Won't come here ever again.
Raj Sharma
Best joint to go for South Indian food. Rasam wada is all time hit. Also the sponge dosa's are really good.. service has always been good. Perfect place to eat .
Ad Nis
We have been several times since they opened years ago. This was our go-to spot for south Indian snacks. The quality of food has plummeted over the past few years. My recent visit was quite disappointing. Still recommend their Mysore sada dosa and rasam. Decor looks outdated and service was poor.
Thakkar
This is like second home I almost visit 3-4 times a week for yummylicious dosa and special masala tea .. Bisi billi. Rice and amazing delicious 😋 mango lassi

Located next to Tip Top Plaza, near Mulund Check Naka, I have been here quite a few times. Their South India menu is a delight! From Dosas to Rassam Vadas! :)

Hello folks!!!<br/><br/>Woodland retreat is famous as a wedding, celebration, or family party destination. Have been to this place quite a few times. They have different sections for celebrations. They have an alacarte menu too for the hotel. The food is good here with mainly indian cuisine to offer.<br/><br/>Happy dining
Neha Khona
It is very near to my office. Here the sheera is best. Taste is just awsome. Rasam wada too good. Lunch thali is best. Veey affordable to everyones pocket. All the south indian rice is best like curd rice, bisebelle rice is very tasty.good for south indian dishes.

Been coming here since I was in school as an escape during exam time. My order has not changed and the food is still great- it's like comfort food for me honestly and it has the best paneer chilly I've ever eaten

This is a best restaurant for those who love south india food and also for those who has a low budget staff is good and service is fast <br/><br/>Rating<br/>Food quality:-9 out of 10<br/>Food taste 8.5 out of 10<br/><br/>Special dish of this restaurant <br/>Rasam wada <br/><br/>If your love Rasam you must try Rasam wada of this restaurant
Dhanil Nagda
This place is the worst only the service and ambience is good but the food is worst I would suggest that don't go. It's not worth enough to spend money by going there as there are many options available.

Superb traditional south Indian food with the old charm.... Was a nostalgic trip to younger days. Rayalaseema uttapa was fiery and just right. Then came the Andhra masala dosa....yumm each bite a relish. The vangaya sambhar was as good as it can get and very few restaurants serve that sambar. Methi dosa was a surprise with freshly ground methi leaves. And off course filter coffee. And all this at an astounding low price. You will miss this place as it's really hidden.... Right next to tip top and Jean junction<br/>Must try this place if you want authentic South Indian food!
Manya Kotian
One of the most famous vegetarian joint in the city. They definitely have some loyal patrons visiting quite often. They have about 2-3 seating sections in the restaurant. I'd recommend making a reservation before visiting as this place usually seems packed.<br/><br/>I've been here quite a few times for lunch.<br/>I've tried:<br/><br/>Starters:<br/>Gobi Manchurian(8-9 pieces)<br/>They Nailed this dish.👍<br/><br/>Spring roll(8 pieces)<br/>Crispy roll filled with vegetable stuffing. Slightly oily.<br/><br/>Paneer chilly(8-9 pieces)<br/>The paneer was tender. It was spicy though.<br/><br/>Mains:<br/>Tiranga: Tri-colour sabji! Three different types of sabjis in saffron, white and green(palak paneer). The white sabji tasted heavenly.👍<br/><br/>Paneer kadai: The gravy could've been a bit thicker but tasted good.<br/><br/>Satragi: It had a lot of veggies in it. Tasted average.<br/><br/>Try these out with the butter roti and normal roti was too dry and little hard.<br/><br/>Service took a longer time-about 15-20 minutes. Staff is good.<br/>They have their own parking but isn't sufficient during peak hours.<br/><br/>TRY OUT DOSA'S HERE. They have a lot of variety and service take 5 to 10 minutes.
Thefood_act_2018
A complete family restaurant. Best place for the people who are on a diet. Serves light, tasty, healthy food. I visit this place frequently and their quality is getting better day by day.

I went to this place for early lunch on a Sunday morning. The restaurant is not very big but decent decor. We ordered for tomato soup and Rassam wada. Both the dishes were tasty. <br/>In the main course we ordered for veg Kolhapuri and Aloo gobhi masala. My god! That was the best veg Kolhapuri I ever had in my life. Lastly the pineapple shira was delicious and no doubt why so many of my friends had recommended that to me. The rotis and pineapple raita were also very good. <br/>Overall food- 4.5 /5<br/>Service- 4.5 /5<br/>Value for money 5/5.

One of my go to restaurants on a lazy day. I love their South Indian dishes. Along with that, they serve one of the best Malai Koftas according to me. Ambience is just fine. Service is good. Parking is available for 5-6 cars at a time.<br/><br/>I'll give thumbs up to this restaurant! <br/><br/>
Harsha Moolchandani
Pathetic service..Had called up the restaurant for table booking wherein it was informed that booking is not required as the restaurant will be empty so we can just walk-in.. On entering we again informed at the reception we need a table for 6 to which we were informed to just walk-in. On entering the restaurant were shown are seats and when we asked them that kindly put a reserved tag at the table as we are expecting some guests we would prefer to wait out, so we are informed thats not possible..if someone comes we cant hold the table.. I mean really..?? We are just outside waiting for our guests and you cant keep a tag of "reserved."<br/>What kind of hospitality is it that you guys cant provide a proper service..
Sainath Pawar
One of the best places to have south Indian food. The dosa's, idli, vada 's are all well prepared and yummy. You can also try the thali, bise bele bhaat and other south Indian rice preparations.
Pratik Khuntia
This might be because i have not ordered any south indian dish. But to start with the ambience was not good, service was not good (they served me wrong dish), food quality was pathetic (I ordered paneer kolhapuri, veg manchurian dry and roti). What I disliked the most was ambience.
Food Gorrilas
Good for South Indian food, I like dosas and bisibhili bhat a lit at this place. It's a small place with sitting area inside and outside. Service is fast, and staff is friendly.
Kajal
Location and service is good<br/>Food is super bland.Very bland. Can give this place a miss.Wellknown for its southIndian cuisine, but doesn't do justice to it.There are far better southindian outlets around this place.
Mahendra Pandey
Had been to this restaurant few times earlier and their ala carte menu is much better compared to their buffet menu...recently attended one function, the Dinner-buffet spread included Dahi vada which was good, Paneer Kadhai which was ok, Veg. Kolhapuri had a very bland taste and spicy as well..bt I liked the moong halwa. Overall one time visit !!

This place is super awesome for someone who likes south Indian food... We go here only to eat Rasam Wada... It is absolutely delicious... We have also had cheese Mysore masala dosa, rava masala dosa, onion uttapa and also we have tried their paneer start items and they we tasty too... It is a good place to have good vegetarian food... The place can a bit noisy though.... You'll can also host parties here... Good place with good food... I totally forgot to click pictures of the food you guys... But here are some pictures of the place itself... Just so you know they have parking place but only for a few cars, like only 6/7 at a time
Girish Panchal
Perfect place for going for dinner with family or some guests!! The ambiance is calm and the service provided is fast!! <br/>Also party type halls are available so one can also arrange parties!! <br/>The food quality is also Good according to the price u pay for it !!
Amit Nayak
Very good food and friendly staff. Thay have been reducing the menu and quantity of Executive Thali over the years. Interiors have not been changed or touched up in years. Parking space a big problem. Rasam wada is awesome. Used to be served with Thali earlier but not now
Lick, Nibble, Bite, Swallow. Repeat.
This review covers only one item on the menu:The thali.<br/><br/>A fried papadam sets off the tone. (Don't like the healthy type roasted variety, and I bet neither do you!)<br/>The decently sized fluffy pooris entice you (and the fact that both my companions couldn't finish off their pooris and I was the designated scavenger was the cherry on the cake)<br/>The rasam vada is nice, as is the rasam, strictly. The north Indian vegetable curries are pretty good and go well with the pooris.<br/>The curd helps in cutting the acidity of the fried stuff.<br/><br/>Loved the gulab jamun which cut the effect of the curd :-D<br/><br/>P.S.: The pineapple sheera, ordered aside from the thali, was moist, and filled with small chunks of pineapple and raisins. Enough for the three of us.<br/><br/>Service was a little hurried though, as if the staff wanted us out of there ASAP.@priya Prakash

This Udipi treat is here in Thane since years. Their range of dosas is mindblowing. The Rawa Sada Dosa and the Rasam Wadas are simply epic. The service is quick and staff is polite. The ambience is soothing and pleasant. Typical Udipi taste and flavours. Specially check out the chutneys they serve with the dosas. Their Pineapple Sheera deserves a special mention!!
Kunal Lodaya
The food is not tasty... If posible do not visit dis place... Otherwise it wud be better to have the food at home.. Even the management is not to the point of service...
Kewal Nagda
A pure veg restro situated near tip top in Thane. Ambience is normal, service quick and food ok ok. Had tried veg biryani. Nothing much to say, decent veg restro for family meals :)
Samitprabhu24
Nice and economical place in thane. The "indian chinese" tastes awesome. Love their manchow soup and paneer satay. Being a south Indian resto, the south indian dishes are awesome
Dr. Archit Ghangurde
Went for a Sunday dinner with my wife @pranjali as she is a big fan of southindian food and we were not dissappointed!!! A simple restaurant with a ambience of the 90s, with great south indian food as its USP. We had rasam wada, set dosa, andhra sada and butter sadha dosa.... And liked everything!!! Lot of options... So will have to visit multiple times to try everything on the menu. All in all great food at super cheap prices!!!
Hinal Chandaria
A very bad experience. I would never go again here. <br/>The food was tasteless. Not served as promised. Naan was thick like rubber and sabji was Okies. N mistakes in billing too.
Anusha Parab
One of the Renowned restaurant in Thane although it has its hand on south Indian food , which iis yummy to taste , but my experiment of tasting Chinese went horribly wrong and turned out to be disaster with my taste buds..
Sumukhi Vaishampayan
Woodland Retreat ...this restaurant cum banquet hall is situated adjacent to Tip Top plaza . Although after reading menu card it appears to be multi cuisine restaurant but this one's speciality is South Indian cuisine<br/>Went here with bunch of my friends. We ordered Medu Vada, Masala Uttappa,Rasam Vada and Onion Uttappa...Regular taste...nothing special <br/>I did not personally liked their Sambar as it tasted sweet and I don't like sweet Sambar...<br/>If given option I would prefer eating South Indian food at authentic south India restaurant .<br/><br/>
Minal Jain
Was here for a Sunday breakfast.. Dosas are all good ! Masala tea is awesome ! The toast were a bit of disappointment though ! Overall good
Shashank Bhangde
1. They do not reserve Tables on Phone. I had to keep my guests waiting at thier lobby. Even when I reached there 10 mins early and asked him a table for 12 he just asked me to wait when the restaurant was empty. *sad* <br/>2. The staff is not at all polite including the manager on duty. At a point of time, there was no waiter in the dinner hall and worst is my sister when asked for a finger-bowl the waiter told her "medam, uth k haath dhoke aaona..!"<br/>3. The 3.0 rating is just for the food. Must try *lemon rice* if at all you get a place to sit in the restaurant and not the stinky smelly lobby.
Vikash Aggarwal
Went to this place in the afternoon on Sunday. The idli and meduwada were sad. It felt as if it was refried vada. The Sambhar and chutney all was below average though the servers served with a smile. The idli was not the soft ones which every Bombayite is used to which is served at countless places.
Aniruddha Oak
Service is so quick that you may have a feeling of being treated in ICU! And I am so serious about this with no sarcasm. You may bring all your extended family and plan to have a lazy dinner party, but you will be out on the road in about an hour and start wondering how the hell did that happen!!? Oh but don't worry, you will be satisfied for sure. Alas! Money well spent!
Kitty
Love the Bhishi Balle Hulli anna served here! If I go to Woodlands Thane, this item has to be on my order list! And speciality about Woodlands, Thane is that the masala that they use for Bhishi Balley is different from Woodlands Mulund... its fresh, less spicy and delicious. A perfect place for family dinner.
Manisha Akolkar Joshi
Good option of Vegetarian's. You will get nice South Indian food. good ambiance. Visit again place. you can spend nice time with family. fount little over priced. over all too good.!!
Ankita S
This is an old eatery situated close to the Thane west checknaka and has people flocking because they have maintained the quality of south indian cuisine served here. Like any typical udipi, this place doesn't focus on d decor but does focus (and correctly so) on south indian cuisine and quick service! Apart from the traditional dosas like sada dosa, rawa masala, mysore etc, this place also offers dosas with a twist like the sandwich dosa. While here stick to south indian cuisine such as idli, sambhar vada, dosa, utthapam and don't shy away from asking for more chutney or sambhar..in beverages, go for the filter coffee. A negative here is that this place also has banquets and if there are any on-going events, parking may be difficult to find. Leaving this aside, a thumbs up for this place :)
Ashokaholla
Being known for their South Indian dishes, surprisingly they have such limited South Indian Items on their menu..<br/>Their Sambhar is sweet and tangy while the Chutney is very good.
Amit Bhardwaj
Nice place for a family dinner. I was there last weekend.. Ambiance wise it is fine (3/5) but food is good. We ordered soup, starters, main course, rice, desserts, a full packed dinner. Service is quick and food tasted good. Sitting place is lighted well and gives kind of warm feeling. Our starters options were Veg Crispy and Hara bhara kebab and twin dosa, all were exceptionally yummy. Though I felt they overfried Veg Crisy. Main course was grand and included paneer butter masala, dal tadka, butter naans, fried rice, dahi bhalla and boondi raita. It was served hot and fresh too. We were full till throat as they say. Bill was also fine and for a group of 5 it costed us 1500 which quite affordable. <br/><br/>Only problem could be parking space as they have very less parking place outside on road. So either reach a bit early or park to nearby place and walk to restaurant. <br/><br/>Ambiance: 3/5<br/>Food: 3.5/5<br/>Service: 4/5<br/><br/>Must go for Thane people. Highly Recommended !!
Tanuj Arora
This restaurant is a stone's throw distance away from my residence...again one of the manyyyyyy vegetarian cuisine paradise's in Thane...Have been here many of times..very simple and decent ambience without any wackiness..their thalis..their starters...their kulchas...their veg jalfrezy's etc etc...their dosas and medu wada Sambhar...amazing place...they also have facility for wedding receptions and birthday parties..all in all...great place to dine out with family
Sandeep Bhatia
Excellent place, great food, hygenic, parking help by pleasant ushers. Make you feel wanted. My parents love this place.<br/>Overall great value for money.
Madhav Shembekar
The hotel is good. Food test is also good. Specially south Indian food is excellent. The Rasam tests very good. <br/>Food quantity is sufficient.<br/><br/>Ambiance, cleanliness, staff/waiter are good. <br/>Ambiance is like a old style hotel. <br/><br/>Parking space is limited. 6 to 8 cars only. Not sure whether they have valley parking facility or not.<br/><br/>Overall, its a good hotel for Vegi lovers with value for money. Enjoy.....
Ravi Shankar
Visited this restaurant some days back and was to my surprise found the dishes slightly over priced. A simple dosa costed over 90INR. Still taste wise was good with a good ambience. Suggest for one time visit.
NDV
Had visited this place with office friends.<br/>This one is pure veg restaurant which offers wide veriety of north and south indian food.we tried north indian food here and taste was quite ok.<br/>Staff is very attentive and ambience is not too great. Since food rates are reasonable , will recommend this restaurant to vegetarians.
Ashish Shinde
One of the very old restaurant still goin strong as its quite famous amongst the vegetarian people. The most striking feature is that along with restaurant it has a small hall wherein get together can be arranged for aorund 100 150 people. The food quality is good overall as the dishes on the menu are regular but a well maintained place over the period of time. Good service and nice food always make a great combo
Ashay Kully
Great restaurant for south Indian food...especially the puri bhaji which is amazing! The rates are slightly expensive but given the beautiful ambience along with Ac you won't mind splurging a bit! For families its a great place to hangout.
The Determined Pigeon
Everyone has those restaurants around their place which they invariably fall back to while ordering food.<br/><br/>Woodland has been my family's choice since the time I won Duel Master Battles.<br/><br/>Initially, we used to visit this place and savour it's extensive variety of dosas, with Buttersponge dosa topping my list of favs.<br/><br/>With newer options available, and different outlets waiting to be tried, Woodland has become the safest home delivery option for our family in the last two three years.<br/><br/>Average ambience, good quality reliable food, and fast delivery times satisfies us enough.<br/><br/>Ketuda ? Yoshi.
Surajit Makur
Good place. Comforatble ambience. <br/>Quantity of helping is good so its pocket friendly. Good south indian and punjabi dishes. <br/>Taste is authentic, service is quick.<br/>Overall a nice place for a pure veg traditinal quick bite outing.<br/>
Tanuja Aundhe
Lovely dosas and other south indian food. Don't get any curries or anything. Try some paneer chilly with a sada dosa just for a bit of fun. :)
Himanshu R
One of the Restaurants in Thane that is a must visit! The best place for south Indian Dishes in Thane, also the Punjabi food. Veg crispy , Manchurian, jalfrezi, must try!!Unfortunately completely a veg resto for non vegetarians!
JD96
If you wanna go to this restaurant, you should only go for South Indian food.<br/>I ordered paneer tikka and it was not good.<br/>However,my experience with South Indian dishes is really good.<br/>So far, best dishes (according to me)-Masala upama,Andra dosa, palak dosa,Rayala Seema Uttappam, set dosa and pesarattu. Their rasam and bisi bele hulli anna is also really good.<br/>I have tried 'special masala dosa'. It was loaded with coconut and lacked taste. Puliyogare is not upto the mark.<br/>Pinapple sheera is OK but too sweet.<br/>Decor has a lot of room for improvement.<br/>To sum up,it's a good place. <br/>I won't say a 'must try' though.
Vineet Joshi
Food prepration really nice. South indian is worth trying. North Indian is good but can be improved. Decent pricing. Overall basic ambience. Service is with a smile.
Pawan Deshmane
A typical Bangalore restaurant with amazing ambience. So having north indian stuff would not be a good option. Dosas,Idlis, Bisi bele etc are amazing. Service also is satsifactory
V.Ananthanarayanan
A neat restaurant with basic ambience ... The food is very decent and tasty too... The service is also with a smile... Their family paper roast is fun... overall a good experience... I will come back here..
Nancy Dedhia
Love it.... My fav family outing restaurant... Soberly lit... Ambience sober ... Food really good... Easy on your pocket... Must try place for family outing
Varun
I had heard good stuff about this place but was really disappointed.though from outside it looks very classy, inside it is completely cramped up. We ordered paneer tikka (too hard), hara bhara kabab (good) and aloo chat (so spicy that it killed our appetite and we had to go for desserts).<br/>We called for desserts to use them as fire extinguisher inside us. Gulab Jamun was fine, falooda was fun and kulfi was fine. Ice cream had ice inside, as if it melted and was frozen again. We informed the manager about this, no apologies and everything was there in the bill. I wish if they make something this spicy, they should inform the customer. All the best to those who go to this place

Woodland Retreat is near Mulund Thane Check Naka. Besides<br/>Tip Top there is a small entrance of Woodland retreat. The Hotel is fully Air<br/>Conditioned. It has a great ambience. It also has party halls where small to<br/>medium size party can be arranged. The food quality is great. Service is above<br/>standards.

some of the official meting are take place good but not that much big area
Royal_Bites_with _Priyank
One of the best family restaurant in thane which has good food, i always go here with family, its bit old place but they serve good and pure veg food, Punjabi is the best and also the south Indian dosa, do order cherry cheese pineapple here..also service is very nice and has a  good space for people to seat..
Raunak Haldipur
This used to be my favourite Vegetarian Multi-cuisine Restaurant. I recently visited again maybe after 2-3 years and my god has their quality of food deteriorated.<br/>My favourite dishes here used to be-<br/>1. Dal Makhani<br/>2. Paneer Tikka Masala<br/>3. Panner Chilly Dry<br/>4. Spring Rolls<br/>5. Malai Kulfi.<br/>Their sambar which was really delicious has now been made sweet like kadi. This was highly disappointing.<br/>This time when i went there I ordered all of them and I was really disappointed. The Dal Makhani was too watery, the panner pieces were harder then they were earlier and the Malai Kulfi was more made of ice than malai. The only dish that didn't disappoint me was the spring rolls. They was really delicious.<br/>This restaurant is not very expensive and its their cleanliness that I adore. I would suggest this restaurant. This used to be a vegetarian's paradise but unfortunately I don't think I can say that any longer. I shall however visit one more day to make sure this change of quality and taste was not a one off thing.<br/>If the management is reading this review kindly act fast to improve the food quality.

we went to woodlands retreat to have some good south Indian food. I read a review here by Vidyadheesh and tried the Pesarattu dosa and Ullipai dosa. both are awesome. Pesarattu is a dosa roll stuffed with a moderate spicy filling onions. Ullipai dosa is served as a pair of moong (green gram) dosa. We also tried the curd rice. It comes with pomegreate added to it, some like it, I don't. the service is also good and i definitely recommend the place.<br/><br/>Update: The Punjabi food is also good here. This time asked for curd rice without the additions and it was perfect!

This restaurant offers you amazing food, whether South Indian or North Indian, Snacks or Main Course. The variety in South Indian fare is also large, a combination of the southern states except Kerala. And mistake not, their North Indian dishes are equally good.<br/><br/>So popular is this restaurant, that it is always fully occupied during the lunch time and also booked for small get-togethers.<br/><br/>In case you are in a snacking mood, try the Rasam Wada, Pesarattu Dosa, Rayal Seema Uttappa and Ullipai Dosa. <br/><br/>In the mood for a sumptuous proper lunch, try the Paneer Tikka and Veg Kolhapuri. If you want to indulge in South Indian Main course, try the Rice variants like Puliyogare [tangy & mild spicy rice], Lemon Rice [Sour / Tangy in taste, with a tempering of groundnuts and curry leaves], Bissi Belle Bhat [Spicy Rice & Dal with some veggies], Bhakla Bhat [Curd Rice with a topping of Pomegrantes, Fried Cashew Nuts & Raisins], Curd Rice [Plain with tempering], Palak Khichdi. <br/><br/>All Rice dishes are served with Appalam [Fried Papad made out of Rice]. We liked it so much that we consumed 16 Appalam among 5 persons apart the ones served with the Rice dishes. <br/><br/>Please try the Gulab Jamun and Pineapple Sheera [both served hot] after the Main Course.<br/><br/>It is a little on the expensive side vis-à-vis the Price but justified for the Quality.
