Ambience and Food was Great. Succulent Chicken Dilkush Kabab,Delicious chicken Tikka and Tasty dal Khichdi. Good Cocktails and Mocktails. One of the old Restaurant and Bar from Thane.Still serves great food and alcohol. Service needs improvement. We will keep coming back.

Delicious food.. courteous staff. Goood ambiance. We had tried fish Rawas and Surmai for starters. Chicken curry and mutton for main course. Very good place for dine in with your friends.

GOOD PORTION, GOOD TASTE! The staff is patient with you. The ambience is not bad at all. You can surely visit with your family. (if you have issues with the restro-bar part) Good choice: Butter Naan Paneer Kuruchan Chicken Chilly Peking Rice

I had visited this restaurant today (24th June 2018). It is the best restaurant I had visited by far in Thane. The ambiance is calm and pleasant. The seating arrangement is comfortable. The ac is adjusted to the ambient temperature. The staff is friendly and provide detailed description of the food. They ask for any special instructions towards preparation of food. The preparation time is around 15 minutes. The food is delicious. The ingredients used are of good quality and usage on oli, salt and spices is adequate. Perfect for a weekend family supper.

The food and the service is good , the alcohol rates are also good 💯 . I took one Paneer main cause dish , 5 kulcha,one beer 🍺, i wishky, Drinking Water, Small Thums Up . And the total bill amount was 1270 which is nominal as per the standard and ambiance

Food was amazing. Ambience was good. Comfortable seating. Room temperature perfect. I had been here for official meeting which was arranged from 2 pm to 5 pm. During this time lunch was also included. But at the time of booking manager did not inform us that after 4 pm kitchen gets closed. We had to face lots of problem due to this lack of communication. We had to hurry up with our meeting. Many of us did not get proper food as their kitchen got closed. 1 star less given for this. Staff was also not supportive in this crisis situation. Rest everything was good only this 1 incident left a bad taste on my mouth.

Went here today with my family. Mushroom starters are amazing. Tried Bombil (Bombay Duck) fry starter - This was not good at all. Reducing 1 star for this. Murg Musalam is good. Chicken Dum Biryani is also good.

This is the best restatement where you will get lot of options in veg and non veg both I always visit there because it’s very resonable and the food quality is best and delicious

This is a very nice restaurant around Naupada / Panchpakhadi area. Reasonably priced and quick service as well. There may be some problem to find a parking during day time. Its a must try at least once. 4/5.

Went here with family for dinner. Good was having good taste. Reducing one star because the pomfret fish curry was ordered in Malvani style but served in South Indian style. Fish was fresh and quality and quantity was also 👌 Vanilla ice-cream was also 👌

Satkar restaurant is near naupada in Thane. Good place for family dinners. Taste was good. But i didn't like the biryani because cloves and all were too much. Else it is a decent place. Do try.

This is one of the oldest family restaurants in Thane. Have been here many times since childhood. Friendly staff with decent ambience. Food is very good and has been consistent over the years. They serve some nice cocktails and delicious food. Mumbai Mirchi kabab and Tiranga Kababs are our favourite. Chicken Satay is also very good. The best in the mains would be Butter Chicken. Even the Chinese food is good. In short, most of their food is amazing. A very nice place to enjoy with family and friends.

One thing i liked about this place was the ambience and interiors. The ac was good and the service was above average. Now for the food. We had their manchurion fried rice and paneer musallam with tandoori roti. I mist say that i had no complaints. It was value for money. The quantity was great and the taste was really good. They have both veg as well as non veg. Do try it out

Have visited Satkar many times over the years - what started as a small restaurant is now a huge business with many outlets. This outlet is I believe the best in the Satkar system, and even better than Satkar Residency at Cadbury. As has been highlighted by many users before, the butter chicken here is to die for. They do a phenomenal job with the flavors such that the chicken melts right into the mouth with a strong aroma. They also do a good job with vegetarian options including the Paneer Makhanwala and the Babycorn Jalfrezi.Decent on value for money - I would characterize the pricing as fair for quality of food, ambience and service. Not exceptional, not obnoxious. Valet is efficient within a crowded street and gives you peace of mind while you enjoy the food. Good option in the city, for a quiet meal with family.

We typically order out from here they have the best butter chicken in the city. Also like their chicken fried rice. We have other curries which are okay. Delivery service is quick and staff is courteous.

This is a descent nice place. We ordered masala papad onions and tomatoes topping were too less. <br/>Then we ordered chicken dilkhush kebab. Chicken stuffed with cheese. Satkar is located near thane station and is a decent family restaurant. Ambience is pleasant and seating is very comfortable. It is usually crowded on weekends. It was a jolly good experience dining over here with family. A big family of 15 to be served quick and delicious food is a tough job to carry on. But this restaurant did their best. The chicken soup and starters were worthy of the bucks spent and veg starters were what you will long for. Then, the main course was well prepared, especially their Garlic Butter Naan is what you will love. And don't you forget, to order Butter Chicken here, one of the best served around in Thane. It's a weekly parcel for me. So, head on here for some lip smacking delicacies and treat your taste buds.

I have been here a couple of times for dinner with my family. The chicken chilly is expectional so is there crab meat soup.<br/><br/>In main course we had chicken Martha and veg lahori which was up to the mark. Mocktails need improvement, overall a good place to have a beer n chill with your family.

Ambience is very good. I loved this restaurant and was very eager to give a review. Service of this place is mind blowing. On the contrary, the taste of food is super Super good. And indeed, every single dish which I ordered arrived within 10-15 min. Every dish was tasty except the chicken sizzler , I think they can make it a lot better by adding varieties of fried chicken. The food was absolutely fantastic. I just love it. But there is one disadvantage, the quantity is not proper according to the price. SATKAR you want to be increase your quantity thats it . Overall I like the service,taste and quality.

Food quality and taste is very nice. But service was really very very very slow. It took 2 hrs to serve us 1 soup,one chiken dish n rice. Afrer soup it took 45 min to serve main course. That too he baught rice n roti together. We had to eat rice ice cold. <br/>Though taste was good we couldn't enjoy it because of late n cold food. <br/>Will never visit this place again.

Relish their chicken lolipops and brain chilly. Their schezwan sauce is die for ! Never had such a tasty sauce before. Butter chicken is another must recommended - tenderly cooked chicken in tomato makhni gravy. Do not forget to eat fried rice .

Went there on my dads birthday..it was too crowded..thanks to the govt liquor policy..so they have made us wait for around 10 mins and then they allocated us a table on 2nd floor.. the orders were taking so long to come up.. i ordered a Mocktail which came after finishing starters so they were messing up with the orders..then again the main course took around 20 mins to come..so it was not that good experience..the food was also not worth the amount we spend..

Taking so much time for home delivery orders... Very time consuming...May be their manager don't use to watch. This place is 10 mins away from my address. Why they took 1.5 hr to just deliver very small order?

Went there for dinner with my family and had ordered butter chicken.It was delicious and had a generous quantity. At Satkar food is always appetising and fresh.

Good ambience ,slow service , average staff , consistently good quality and fresh seafood variety. Amazing dum biryani, chicken Hyderabad handi and prawns in butter garlic sauce, chicken mumbai mirchi , chicken handi , butter chicken and not to forget sizzling brownie. Only negative is the service and staff's response.

I always visited this place to eat corn dan dan. It used to be one of my favourites, however last time when I visited this place the incharge out there gave an unprofessional treatment. The waiter cleared my unfinished food in the plate without even asking. The food we ordered had pathetic taste. The restaurant incharge was forcing us to eat fast. I am sadly disappointed and will never visit this place again.

We went to this place to get Butter chicken packed.They gave us in 10 minutes or so. The food was really good, chicken was properly. Looking forward to try other dishes here.

This one is one of my favourite restaurants to visit for a small party with friends. You will always find it full on weekend evenings. But the staff manages to get a place for you. One can just roll back and enjoy their drinks/dinner with peace of mind, exactly what I look for. I would give a 4/5 for food, considering taste and the way it is served. Paneer dishes are very tasty. Chicken is also very good, but a bit too spicy. Service is swift as we are regular visitors there. The only problem is with parking. Road construction and a narrow path causes a bottleneck right in front of the restaurant. Hence, finding a parking is bit difficult. But pros outnumber the cons for this restaurant. A must visit.

This place is located near makhmali talav in thane. It serves you with a variety of cuisines. It's an normal family restaurant. In nonveg starter's I had chicken crispy and chicken lollypop both the dishes were didn't impress me in taste nor in it's look. The crispy wasn't even fried properly that naming it crispy will be wrong. In veg I tried the Chinese cuisine. In it I had Manchurian dry and panner chilly. Both the dishes were good in taste. It didn't look tempting but the taste was good. Then in the main course we had butter chicken it was good in taste, mouth watering. Reservations are recommended since waiting queues are quite long. <br/><br/>A very decent restro bar serves very good variety of multi cuisine with a touch of mughlai and punjabi spices that makes this place different from others. <br/><br/>Also, the only good place in the area that serves non-veg, I guess. I ordered regular chicken tikka along with Chicken Marathi in gravy. They both tasted nice. The service was timely and waiters were attentive. <br/><br/>

Satkar seems to be very popular hotel when it comes to Family Food Joint. We went there on recommendation of friend and it was a good decision. We had Paplet Masala with Naan and Rice which was really good. The ambience and staff was one of the best. Parking is the problem.

I finally had a Chance to visit this much hyped legacy resto in thane. We entered the hotel before 7.30 which means no access to first floor which opens after that, never mind both look the same. <br/><br/>We tried dreamy eyes cocktail was almost a sort of blue lagoon but dark rum topping made it a different drink. It was pretty decent. <br/><br/>Predominantly a veggie, we tried stir fry, veg shanghai and both were deliciously amazing. Triple schzwan Rice and noodles was served differently as any Chinese outlet. <br/><br/>Overall a pretty decent outlet and one to try for if you are a part of thane legacy! <br/>CHEERS🍻

Satkar is a nice option for thanekars. It is located near Vandana Bus stop. They have separate sections for Family and Bar. Taste is very good. I often visit there with my family. One of the oldest restaurants in Thane and believe me, the taste has remained impeccably and incredibly the same in at least last 20 years that I have known. The place has managed to change with times as far as the menu is concerned. Centrally located, good ambience, but can do better as far as hygiene is concerned.<br/>Must try reshmi kabab with the egg topping (guess it's their secret recipe) and all-time favorite butter chicken (a very common dish, but no other place has this superb a taste) .

Satkar has become a brand in thane. Started as a restaurant near charai naka area it now has two hotels in thane which are working great. <br/>Satkar has a good food spread in di's restaurant. Chinese as well as north Indian and mughlai cuisine are well praised by the customers. <br/>I hv been to satkar for many family dinners. And there is a banquet also which is great for small family functions. <br/>I wl keep going here cause it offers great food, reasonable rates, and warm and welcoming staff.

The only time I was there was not a very good experience. Service was slow, staff was rude, food was not cooked (especially the rice had water in it). Was late in the night I accept, but still the quality was below normal in my case.

5star hotel 👌🏻 as i went at this place for my friend's birthday party ! Chicken shanghai, chicken tangadi kabab and lemon chicken was good.😋 mocktails and cocktails were also good.. a perfect ambiance.. Staff was good and service was also good.. Chicken afghani was good in main course and in sea food fish-mahi tikka was also good..and in desserts black forest and sizzling brownie we ordered which was tasty..Costly but worth it.. It was a special day, my mom's birthday🎂, it had to be a special place as well. Satkar was like our family restro, used to visit frequently before it went into renovation.<br/><br/>I was sure satkar would be an ideal place for the party, as mom enjoys only a few restaurants.<br/><br/>We went upstairs, nicely renovated, more spacious now. We were having a glance at the menu, "something new this time" mom said and we decided to order chicken in hunan sauce and lemon chicken. We didn't regret the order at all, the taste was fabulous, something different as well.<br/>The presentation of lemon chicken won't be liked by few as it comes in yellow colour.<br/><br/>We directly jumped to the main course and ordered for half butter chicken. Dad and I decided to order rice only after seeing the quantity of the gravy. We didn't get a chance to order rice as the quantity was amazing, sufficed the 3 of us. No doubt on the taste here also.<br/><br/>Didn't go for the desserts as we were already full☺️<br/><br/>Finally on the rating part:-<br/>For the staff it would be - 3.5 (not something extra ordinary but prompt service)<br/>Food, quality and price - 4<br/>Ambience would be - 4

I love this restaurant coz it brings a lot of childhood memories! Me and my dad being die hard non-vegetarians would always head to Satkar for enjoying delicious non-veg food. My mom being vegetarian she would order the veg dishes. Both veg and non-veg dishes are good here. I specially loved the chili garlic pawns and veg diwani handi, which I ate simply with the spoon. It was so delicious! The ambiance is amazing, especially the top floor. Its warm, homey and pretty. The staff is good too!

One of the very old restaurant and also a very heard name . The ambience is good as soon as u enter u get a nice neat feel of a very clean restaurant and a warm welcome by the staff who are very helpful. Our waiter was a very experienced person in late 40s or may be early fifties but the way he was to us was something that was very warm and hospitable. He was more than willing to help us with the menu what are the offers that were running currently at that particular time. We wanted to have gravy and roti and we just told him that we are looking for medium spicy and less oily and he was instantaneous enough to suggest us that we should try chicken tikka masala and the dish turned out to be very nice in taste and just as we expected. We had ordered veg manchurian and it was also one of the nicest that we have tried in recent times . All in all a very nice place to have a meal with friends and family with accurate n prompt service. I would definitely rate this place 5 star . One must surely try this place for super tasty food and awesome service. The ambience is good :dim lights, soothing music, a perfect mood setter fr an evening. Food was great. Liked their Chicken schezwan which was quite tasty. Staff is friendly, quick and also good at suggesting menu that can be tried. I would definitely suggest that this place shud be visited atleast once to enjoy their delicious starters.

Satkar is a very good family restaurant with a decent ambiance and a fairly prompt service. Dishesh, be it veg or non-veg, are really tasty and the quality of food is consistently good even during packed weekends or holidays, which makes it a highly reliable place for even family dinners for special occasions.<br/><br/>Among special mentions, I would say the Garlic Nan and the Cheese Nan are among the best you could get in any restaurants in Thane. Non-veg main course dishes are adequately spicy and really tasty!

Satkar is very popular and famous restaurant in thane...the food quality and quantity is pretty good...the atmosphere is also quite nice...basically satkar is good restaurant for family dine...

The hotel was know for its and name and also toped my list but last experience I had was disappointed .visiting on my birthday I had asked the manager to reserve a table on first floor but he said there will be no rush.which turned out to be upsided but luckily got the table the same I had visited earlier I was relishing the food and taste I had that time was more excited but nooo the table besides me had some problem on biryani I dont know what but that was the first sign for me. Ordering chicken spring roll, crispy, lollypop were not good the rolls were just dry and crispy the same means no moisture . Having food I was seeing not only I but the front of me had ordered some chicken tandoor which he didnt like and the manager took it away . Then main course nan, roti and chicken kadai was not at all spicy I knw its not spicy but not that level and then biryani also the samw condition dry, some rice black burnt I think the rush they had or due too the cooks had been changed dont know bad experience giving 3.5 just because the fame and taste I previously had.

A very good place to go with family. Food here is good. Ambience is actually good. Service is good. I always loved having chicken lollipop over here since my childhood. Although few years back the ambience was changed but taste is same like the old one after all old is gold.

Had dined here a few days back...the food was decent...so had got a 'free home delivery' menu card...called and ordered a chicken gravy today. After taking the order and noting down the address I was told by the person that the minimum order should be rs500. Now why wasn't that mentioned on your card? Waste of my 5 mins...

I was first hesitant to go this restaurant at first instance because i had no clue about its taste.<br/>But starting with:<br/>1) Ambiance - ambiance is good, but they defenately need to improve on the type of music that they play. Its too booring.<br/><br/>2) Food - starters were good and spicy as we expected and also another one which was suggested by the waiter themselves was also nicely prepared.<br/>In main course section the dishes that we ordered were good at taste but did not find much variety in it. They were kind of similar in terms of colour and taste too. Base of the gravy was same. That should be looked upon.<br/>Naan-roti-kulcha were soft and tasty no complaints in that.<br/><br/>3) service - Yes the service was very good. Did not take much time in serving the food and very friendly.<br/><br/>4) Overall i would give it 4/5 because of its taste. Defenately value for money.<br/>

It was my first time dining out in Thane. Through suggestion of some locals, we were being told to try this place. The ambiance is pretty decent but what strikes out is the food.<br/><br/>We tried  Cream of Chicken Soup, Achari Chicken, Chicken in BBQ sauce and lastly Chicken Biryani. Biryani was as good as you would find in any authentic Mughlai Restaurant.<br/><br/> We also got an early bird discount, so it was definitely worth the experience.

We went there on an afternoon, the place was surprisingly empty. The ambience is fine, typical family restaurant. We ordered soup and starters to start with. The service was okayish fast, nothing great about it. The starters were yummy, we had veg crispy and paneer satay. The tomato soup was okay, but I heard from others from the table that their soups were good. The main course however failed to impress us. It was not bad, but it was not very good as well.<br/>Overall, a more than average restaurant which is pocket friendly as well.

This place is very underrated over here on Zomato. Its my favourite place in Thane and the quality & quantity of food is just amazing. The Butter Chicken over here is the best you could get in Thane and also the Chicken kebabs and fish tikka are very good. The ambience of the place is great and its a nice place to visit with both family and friends. I visit it like once a month at least.

This place is under rated on Zomato! This is an excellent place. The owner of the Hotel Satkar residency started with this hotel! I am guessing the same chef is still continuing. The food here is better than Satkar Residency.<br/>One will fall in love with the reshmi kabab here. It is a tender juicy chicken wrapped in a cloud which is made of egg white. When hot, it just melts in the mouth.<br/>I occasionally visit this place with my family.

One of the oldest and my personal favorite restaurant in Thane. Decent and simple interiors. Humble staff. Excellent service and delicious food define this place. one of the best places for a family meal.<br/><br/>PRICING<br/>Does complete justice to the taste and quality.<br/><br/>MY PICK<br/> they serve amazing starters. Chicken crispy is 1 of my favorite's . Even the soups taste delicious. the quantity of main course is quite decent. Butter chicken is 1 of my favorites in this category. Even the chinese rice and noodles served here have a rich taste. don't miss out on the sizzling brownie served here.

the food is good but the staff is not good. they act is if they dont care about their customers. i have been to this restaurant many times bt they have changed now a days.

the food. and the ambience is really nice But if you have any issue with the taste of the food hotel staff and the restaurant manager so efficient that they don't even pay any heal. They just act as if you don't even exist for them. They are also even so much well trained that if you have any issue they make sure that you don't get the copy of your bill. So that they are technically safe and customer is only blame. I had been there with my friend but they just well treated my problem that I won't prefer to go again in same hotel. Really good manager who does not care about the customer.
