Review Coconut Lagoon - Thane

Before anything I would like to praise the customer service they provide, they make you very comfortable and suggest things which were really good. The food was really good and I was happy with the stomach full and greetings from the waiters. The ambience and atmosphere is something which can't be expressed in words, a beautiful place. Recommended for trying sea food

Awesome place to hang out with family and friends. Good food. Do try the Mashroom decker. Quick and super service. They also have a party hall to host birthday party or get-together.

Coconut Lagoon is a restaurant that offers a family-friendly dining experience, although it was initially confusing for me as it appeared under lounge listings. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, especially on weekends, they have live music. However, it is not a place where you can expect a fine dining lounge experience as there is too much noise from other diners. Food was good, not outstanding. Drinks were fine too. Overall, if you're looking for a restaurant that caters to families and has a pleasant atmosphere, Coconut Lagoon is definitely worth considering.

Food tastes good with a great ambience. The prices of food seemed a bit high, compared to other equivalent restaurants in Thane. They have different varieties of sea food and the chef cooks good food. You will get huge discounts, if you are a Zomato gold customer.

Amazing place I visited along with family. Food was amazing but for delivering food it took lot of time after order. Atmosphere also great. Good place to go with family.

We loved this restaurant at its previous location as well. And now at Dosti Imperia it is even better in terms of ambience. The food is awesome and so is the service. Unfortunately the Chinese menu wasn't available when we visited but the North Indian didn't disappoint us at all. Certainly recommended for dining with friends / family.

Had more of starters and mocktails ..along with soup. The seafood soup was very delicious ..loved the chilli crab starter which was something different.. The mocktails are a bit pricey but tasty . We used Zomato gold to pay and got a discount as well ..so note you need to be a Zomato gold member to avail benefit. All in all it was a Good lunch ..!!

Good place for an outing with family or friends. Variety of good food and alcohol options. Little expensive comparing other restaurants around. Staff are very well trained and decent.

Amazingly beautiful experience, Utterly delicious finger licking food, soothing music which takes away stress with subtle rhythms & ambience is an eye feast, great aroma of dishes cooked & fragrance in the atmosphere has a comforting effect, these guys have achieved serenity levels while dealing with guests, staff is quick, courteous, well dressed & well behaved, had a payment issue due to fault of a certain app but staff showed no urgency for payment & even though we were seated for half an hour past afternoon closing time but they always smiled back to all issues raised & listened patiently to politely share about there helplessness as it was not related to them, they waited with a fixed grin & never looked glum even for a moment, i am at loss of words to describe wonderful few hours spent with them, I will hugely recommend Coconut Lagoon to peope of all ages to enjoy lovely time there.

Place is really well done with beautiful interiors. Food is great and would recommend to try south Indian speciality. Also their Komdi Vade seems quite popular as many people had ordered in other table. Service gets slower once the table get full. Would recommend to place all food orders at one go. Perfect place to enjoy non veg food with family & friends.

Food was okay in Taste. Not so good Enough as compared to rates but overall okay okay Ambience. Service was good as it was very lightly crowded. Fresh Lime Soda was very low in Making. It's a One Time Try if u don't have any options. Not Recommended. A TRUE REVIEW

The food here's great! We ordered some appetizers along with main course! Got to experience the Live music which was just cherry on that top for the evening! The staff is highly attentive and services is also quite great! Book table in advance if you're planning to visit!

One of the best places in Manpada area of Thane to try out Manglorean and Malwani style food. The ambience is very good. There are lot of food options. We tried Prawn biryani, Chicken sukka and Appam, all of them were lip smacking. We really enjoyed the food .

Bad experience payment issue You have to pay multiple amounts cuz once the amount doesn't get debited and your account balance gets deducted. Plz pay in cash here otherwise you have to wait for 24 to 48 hours .

Food is nice but bit spicy just require to improve in service speed as delivery of food is slow but overall it's nice place.

The last night had visited Coconut Lagoon with Family friends. * couldn't get a picture of everything *<br/><br/>Ambience- it's a small air conditioned hotel from inside, but they have extended their seating outside the hotel, and that area is huge. The interior of the restaurant is pretty, and they have these royal designings. On the outside there were tables and chairs set up. Music was being played by a DJ, some people were enjoying and dancing at their tables itself. The area was decorated with lights and the walls had graffiti art on them.<br/><br/>Mix veg cheese ball- the balls had cheesy fillings. They definitely tasted cheesilicious.<br/><br/>Chicken tandoori- the chicken was well cooked and the tandoori's flesh from inside was juicy, smooth and tasty. And it tasted crunchy from outside.<br/><br/>Veg crispy- the veg crispy was a delight. It was very well mixed in sauce and cooked with veggies. The crispy was chewy and tasty.<br/><br/>Crispy fried chicken- this was not so satisfactory. It tasted saltless and not so tempting to the tooth. It tasted edible only when we had it with sauce.<br/><br/>Schezwan fried rice- veg and non veg- for main course we had ordered schezwan rice. The veg schezwan rice tasted basic. It was satisfactory, nothing amazing, but the sauce that accompanied it tasted very well. The chicken schezwan rice had shredded pieces of eggs, it had sufficient amount of chicken pieces, and the rice overall tasted well. The sauce which accompanied it, again tasted very nice.<br/><br/>Ambience- 3/5<br/>Food- 3.5/5<br/>Value for money- 4/5<br/>Service- 4/5

Randomly visited this place on Saturday night. Located in one of the famous places in Thane. Good place to hang out with friends and family both as they have different seating for family inside. Food is tasty and good quality and quantity vice. Service is very quick even after it was full. Staff is polite. Will surely visiting this place once again.

My experience with Coconut Lagoon hasn't been great.<br/>The place is located in Hiranandani Meadows in Thane West.<br/>Its a open air lounge situated on 1st floor in the middle of a shopping hub and hence is too loud for its ambience. <br/>Also not many offers pr happy hours that I expected as all other places have a couple of offers even on the weekends.<br/>The food was just mediocre to be discussed about.<br/>Overall...it could have been better!!!

Coconut Lagoon enjoys the privilege of a giant place in one of the most happening localities in Thane. It’s primarily a family place with well spaced out tables, huge table fans at every corner and music coming from one direction.<br/>As much as I liked the privacy they let friends and families have, I would’ve liked it if they had tried investing a little in the outdoor seating- starting with the table cloth and chairs.

Visited this restaurant juzt casually in the afternoon time. Coconut lagoon is having a pretty simple decor with sitting arrangement is sorted. Lightings are amazing so it's worth visiting here. We sat in AC section of the restaurant. <br/><br/>Let's talk about food. First of all it took atleast 25 min for our starters. But chicken was worth waiting. If you love spicy then not forget to tell the waiter to add extra spice as the food is not that spicy. <br/><br/>If you have a low budget then this is a good place to visit. Let your pocket breath. Happy hours are worth visiting. You can get drinks in 100 to 130 bucks approx. <br/>One can spend atleast 2 hours easily out here..!

Random decision to come here. And was not at all disappointed with the food. Decent ambience, sat in the A/c section.<br/><br/>Reached there at about 0145 pm and immediately ordered a mocktail(summer freeze) and a starter Tandoori mushroom.<br/><br/>The mocktail was there in a jiffy, but was not up to the mark. The mushroom took almost half an hour but was not bad at all. We enjoyed it.<br/><br/>Seeing the delay in service we ordered the Ustaad ka khaas vegetable dish, while having the starter.<br/><br/>It took 45 minutes for the food to come, frustrating very, we had our main course only after 3pm, but honestly worth the wait. A 2 in 1 dish, a red veg dish and half palak Paneer. Very good quantity. The palak Paneer had a tad bit more garlic for my palette, but was good. The red veg dish was delicious.<br/><br/>Service is very slow, but the food not bad at all.<br/><br/>Coming back for their non veg dishes soon.<br/><br/>

Had been here on a weekend for dinner. I sat outside. Thankfully there was no waiting. The service was pretty ok. Food is good. I called for Chicken Tikka, Chicken Koliwada, Chicken Lollipop and Tai Pai Chicken for starters. For main course i ordered Chicken burnt garlic fried rice and Chicken hakka noodles. The ambience is good as it's open though you start feeling hot once you start consuming alcohol.

Nice place to grab a drink and have a meal at the same time. Happy hours are available here. The food is good. The sitting area outside the restaurant is great to have a beer and chill.

Cocunut Lagoon is a Goan style restaurant at Hiranandani Meadows Thane. <br/>Ambience: (4/5) The interior is beautiful. The walls are painting with colorful beaches and coconut trees. The stewards wear bright blue floral shirts and round beach caps. The restaurant is spacious and ambience is good enough to give u Goan like feeling.<br/>Food (3.5/5): Good food. We ordered for Paneer Mackhanwala , Veg Kolhapuri , Roti , Jeera rice and dal tadka. The food is good and laden with coconut mix. <br/>I heard from my friend that non veg is better than veg. So will try it next time.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it.<br/>And when coconut lagoon serves you fried rice with the money paid for schezwan fried rice , YOU make schezwan fried rice out of it...... simple!!<br/><br/>The only difference is that, the former one isn't ruled by orders, and the latter one is disinterested in taking your orders.<br/><br/>The thing I dislike, the most about a restaurant is that, when they mess up with my order, especially when it's late and you are hungry.<br/>You either take the order and execute in properly or else you don't take it, giving an excuse of 'it was the last order of the day and it was almost closing time is unacceptable" and moreover doesn't give you the license to execute your order haphazardly.<br/><br/>I would still give it a 2.5 coz the plain fried rice was also good enough and tasted well, even though I had to put in the efforts of tossing it in the schezwan sauce provided by them....(they should have indeed paid me for preparing the dish)<br/><br/>The sauce was amazing👍<br/><br/>Would really expect to be served better next time...!

I have visited this place many times, and I must say that this is one of the best budget restaurant in Thane. Food quality and quantity is superb. Service is fairly quick. Have been here on a casual Sunday with my roomie. The place is quite huge as it has an open seating arrangement. It also has a closed AC one but we preferred seating out. The place is well managed with proper seating arrangements. The only thing i felt on ambience part, which can be improved is that it was quite hot seating out coz the fans were suspended too high n the place was closed from all sides. It is October now and i wonder what happens in May and June. So that to take care of. <br/><br/>The food part is really good. We ordered paneer pahadi tikka and mumbai mirchi kabab as starters and was very well prepared. Main course with chicken masala and paneer kadai and butter naans was good too. Food wise i felt the place was great. Drinks were served properly and staff and services were good. The mixed crowd was decent enough. All in all a good place nearby my flat.

Had been here on 14th August to celebrate one of friends bday. The place was not crowded.<br/>Had ordered variety of poisons with starters which included chicken tandoor, chicken crispy along with some mocktails and paneer Tikka for vegetarian people.<br/>After rounds of repeats and refills we ordered main course which was murgh musallam and Indian breads. Murgh musallam was to die for.<br/>A party never ends without desserts so apart for feasting on the cake that we had got, we ordered pan kulfi. Which we couldn't resist from ordering a few more. It's very different from the usual desserts that we get at other places. Definitely a must try.

We recently got food home delivered from this restaurant.<br/>We were in the mood for some Chinese. The food was quite delicious and more importantly not oily ( which is one of the biggest problems for delivered food). <br/>We ordered Schezwan veg fried rice, chicken chopper fried rice & a mix veg soup.

From best place to go to worst place. Mosquitoes in AC sections, serves half glass of water because they people drink more water when its free, complimentary with alcohol is gone away, alcohol prices are up, servers are rude. Only good thing is food... Main course is okish and starters are good.

I had been here twice staff is not at good, staff is busy chatting with themselves.. Last time they have not serve plate also after requesting for 4times plates was given.. They have added extra charges in the name of happy hours.. Quality of alcohol and food is not good.

If u want to hang out with friends for booze , head towards coconut lagoon. The terrace converted into an open air diner space and A/C section for little descent hangout are the options here. One can get almost all the types of drinks right from beer to Scotch. The place gives a dhaba style feel with goddy lightings.<br/>The appetizers are tasty and one should not miss on chicken lamba ,Garlic cheese Nan,mix veg cheese balls. The food is above average and the service needs promptness. Overall its an above average place to hang around with friends. A bit heavy on pocket too.

God this place is underrated! Ordered Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Reshmi kebab. Both were tender and tasty! This place is great especially for people in their 20s with the music playing EDM and The Beatles (their playlist is actually good). They also have happy hours (for those who consume alcohol). <br/>The restaurant is quite spacious with almost a whole floor bring theirs. They also have an A/C room for non-smokers. A must visit!

Cheery cheese pineapple is a must have. Suggested to me over there by one of the staff.very good. Cheese pakoda was good, masala papad was average.Salted Peanuts dare to be ordered, it was not at all good. Overall an average place to have drinks with some local crowd. Food is average in taste. Staff would be mixed good and bad, depends on whom yoi interact with. Projector in place for matches. also background songs are good in selection.

A long overdue drink session with friends on a Friday evening is a real charge up. We were supposed to meet at another place, but preferred this joint.<br/>The place is divided in two sections - open air lounge and ac section. The lounge section is large with a high ceiling and small cafe style table chairs and tall bar chairs with tall table lined up in the corner. Lounge ambience is cool with large crowds, couples and office crowds having fun on weekend evening. <br/><br/> The drinks were 1 free on 2 and it was great. Starters were chicken and French fries and sauted potato in chilli sauce and cheese cherry pineapple . Starters were good and we had great fun catching up with friends service was good and although it got a little slow after the place got crowded, overall it was commendable. Alcohol was good and smoking is allowed . <br/><br/>Good time spent will be remembered. Worth repeat many times

Had a great time on Sunday with my bike riding buddies!! Nice ambience, good food and great chilled beer really added to the getup. We were there for close to 5 hrs and finally, gingerly, reluctantly managed to drag ourselves out. Had a wonderful time catching up. Nice music, big screen - India women thrashing Pakistan women, oh the works!!

Visited this place for dinner.. and in contrast to negatives mentioned experience was not so bad,though the service was delayed but it was covered in 20mins..they have a non ac(bar area) and ac section(family) and when we reached both were almost packed, but we were accommodated in ac section .Ambience was ok not bad.Coming to food, we ordered crispy chicken and cheese chicken supreme..of which the former was great while the latter was ok but have had better than it before...chicken fried rice seemed to be a boiled kinda fried rice wherein we had to add soya to make it taste well...overall good restaurant not bad and can be definitely tried.. :)

How is smoking allowed here? Is this not a public place? Takes away all the points. The waiter refused to tell the person to stop. Ambience different. Music loud. Food decent. Open through the afternoon.

The food over here is decent...not good but decent and the service here is really good and they have some good stuff on menu, the bar is also good and they have good brands too.

The sea food here is yum the hospitality is also appreciable a cool place to hangout wid frnds as well as family it has a spl family restro bar and an open area too the music is rock on.....its a must visit place

Visited The coconut lagoon for the first time. I must say that I am very impressed with the service. The attendants are very friendly and hospitable. I was clean bowled by the food, awesome taste and food quality. <br/>This is a must visit place for the ambience, drinks and food. <br/>Just that the place is full capacity on the weekends which is much obvious. <br/>Big screen cricket match is awesome to watch. Also there is ample space and staff to attend to the full capacity of customers.

Yesterday I was there . Our group was 8 persons . We were there from 7.00pm till the end . Food was ok but the service was worst . Plus the staff was not also polait . They were serving us as if they are doing some fever . When I tried to tell this at the counter the person siting there also ignored. I strongly suggest people not to visit this place

Tibbs frankie outlet at your place is something you need to improve or better shut down. They are charging high. And shamelessly​ saying they dont have a menu and menu on zomato is outdated charged me 200 for veg shezwan and panner chilly frankie. More over they were tasteless.<br/>

Good place and ambience. Open area was pretty good than the AC section. Food quality was also great. They have unlimited happy hours for specific drinks.

Absolutely love the service at the restaurant. Went here with my grandfather (age 83) and from the person at the door to the waiters as well as the manager, all of them were very kind and went out of their way to assist him. Special appreciation for MR. Prabhakar, Mr. Pradeep, Mr.Ashok and Mr. Biswajit. The food was tasty as well with good portions. The place does get fairly crowded over the weekend so making a reservation is advisable.

Simply avoid. Unless that midnight one peg urge sets in. Bad table linen, slow ignored service, pushed out to leave early mentality and cockroach infested flooring. Gulp your bira and continue partying but avoid eating or family going.

We wer told the ac section is closed..As I occupied my table out... i told the person der to put on the fan ..first 2 times he ignored and den after my third request he put on d fan with a grumpy attitude...v wer irritated seeing his attitude still kept calm as v wer damn hungry. V order for chicken rice with gravy.. The person took the order and after 10min came and said its not available now. Wat kind of behaviour is dis? A normal Chinese rice is not available in ua restro? Or u dnt wish to serve? If yes Dan put up a board of closed..atleast our time would have not been wasted .. Totally disappointing ...v decided to leave the place so v ordered for d bill of bisleri. And bisleri of 20 ₹ is charged max 25 to 30₹ in all restaurant.. Here they charge 50₹ for one bisleri with 6% vat. Which is 53₹. ( inclusive rubbish attitude) And according to rules u cannot charge VAT on packed food and water which have MRP rate printed... Had been here on a sunday for dinner. Their ambience is a little different. You would either like it or no! I liked it. Cos it reminded me of goa. They have a big open roof sitting inside meadows shopping complex. Open tables, wall mounted photo frames of various musicians, speakers on all ends and color lights! I would definitely recommend it atleast for once. <br/>Coming to food we ordered one veg crispy- which was very good. The quantity was great! <br/>A paneer special (which was recommended by d captain,unfortunately i forgot) which was great in taste too. The quantity was good again. The service waa pretty slow. They had waiting so i can understand that and the owner was humble enough to accept the same. We also took long Island iced tea which was above average. We ordered same brand of beet twice and they charged us the bucket rate without even us asking for it! Every time I was at Meadows, I used to hear sound music sounds coming from this place. So today, I finally decided to check out this place. And, I was highly disappointed.<br/>The place is huge and has AC and Non Ac seating with comfortable seats and enough space so that you don't band the person on other table. The place has live screening of matches and music. In other words, a place where u would like to chill and enjoy your beer. All the ratings are only for these good experiences.<br/>Now, begins the sad part. The service at this place is very slow. We called for just one veg.sizzler, which took close to 30mins to arrive. In case, the staff takes time to prepare the ordered dish, it should be informed to the customer, which wasn't done in our case. we kept waiting and later asked the staff about the update. After sometime, our order was served and it was nowhere close how we have always had or imagined.<br/>The sauce was served separately and was thick; the panner in the sauce, yes, you read it right, was hard. The sauteed veggies were blant and very dry. The gravy was good in taste but not of the consistency which is served with sizzlers. The cutlets were also the good part of the sizzler.<br/>Overall, the sizzler was a big disappointment and I won't want to visit the place again.

This place has cockroaches crawling on the seats. I was done eating starters when we saw a couple of cockroaches on the opposite seat. Could not eat a morsel more . We left . Cancelled the main course.

Poor lighting (will affect the photo and images affecianados). <br/><br/>Sat outside on the terrace. The captain was prompt to hand out menu cards. Ordered a She'n'He cocktail and a wine for my companion. They did not have the chardonnay so went for a Death By Chocolate mocktail. The cocktail for me was perfect (would be strong for some... But not for me :)) the mocktail was quite good but was tasting a bit alcoholic. A great hint of coffee (loved it) <br/><br/>Next ordered a Pasta in White Sauce. Really good pasta. Too much quantity! (made me rethink my sizzler order) texture was a bit off with the cheese sauce being a bit rough. But better than average overall! Got a free Kingfisher Draught on the order. <br/><br/>Next came the chicken sizzler in Tai Chin sauce. Sauce was sweet/spicy and oriental (as if you couldn't guess it by the name) The sizzler came with a generous helping of rice/noodles, boiled veggies and french fries. <br/><br/>Being too full by the end of the night we did not order desserts. But was surely tempted to have the honey crusted threads with ice cream. Maybe next time... Scratch that... Surely next time! <br/>

A decent place in Vasant Vihar if you plan to spend time with friends binge drinking. They always have good offers on drinks which works well ( They offered me a Miller free on 2 + A plate of Chicken Lollypop) even on a weekend. Music is good, and the staff is only ok. They can be a lil more pro active. Food can be picked up a couple of notches higher in terms of taste. Cheese stuff chicken supreme was the only dish i liked. And they were a little steeply priced .The lollypop and the others dishes were ok. <br/><br/>All in all a nice place if you wanna spend time having a few beers with friends as they have good deals on almost all days.

we went yesterday there for dinner with family, they served drinking water which is light brown or you can say not proper to even hand wash. when we told about this to manager they just ignored and said filter not working so this was happened . staff is very arrogant, dont have skill to serve . no body is ready to take responsibility for service.  sure NO NO to this restaurant. please think twice before going . we went there to celebrate republic day but they spoiled our evening .
