This is one of the very good restaurants in Thane city. Very conveniently located. Renovation work is going on at groun floor as such, we sat at first floor. Food quality was very good and service is also very prompt. The restaurant was half empty evwn on weekend because of Adhik maas. Overall, a good experience to dine here.
A very nice rooftop ambience with great food is how I will describe this restaurant. The chicken was soft and tender. Even the soup was thick and tasty. The service was good as well. They also have a great list of mocktails. But this restaurant could be bit heavy on your pocket. Apart from that everything is good.

Loved the taste of every food we had ordered...the ambiance and service both are good...
The restaurant has good vibe. The food and the beverages are quite good and worth the price. However they can look into the quality of the table linen and change them.

The Shelter is a family restaurant and bar with simple and decent decor and ambiance. Its a 3 storey resto, ground and first level being normal dining area whereas the upper level javing rooftop arrangement. The food served here is really amazi g. Mainly they serve North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese with some of their own fusion dishes.

• Chicken Chilli Kebab - Pahadi kebab topped with a layer of Schezwan. Yummilicious!

• Chicken Kangda - One of their special and prominent dishes. Boneless Chicken pieces with rich red medium thick gravy. Very flavourful!
• Mutton Kheema Fry
• Sizzling Brownie
The food was amazing here, personally I liked CHICKEN CHILLI KEBAB the most, and CHICKEN KANGDA was delicious too😋😋
Staff was very kind and courteus. Mr. Sahil was there to serve us. He knew the menu well and helped us in ordering the food. The service is also quick and good. Really enjoyed the food here. Great place for North Indian and Mughlai cuisine lovers.

The shelter is one of the oldest and famous Bar and Restaurant of Thane and it serves Quality food since 1979.The shelter is situated opposite Malhar cinema, Naupada, Thane West.
This place is located around 1.2 km from Thane railway station and easily reachable from Thane station by auto or by walking.
This restaurant has two floors, which has an amazing rooftop dining area. Restaurant has very attractive ambiance.Ambience of the whole restaurant looks beautiful and attractive.
Seating arrangement is perfectly managed and organised in respect of couples, group of friends and families.
Menu of this restaurant is vast and thanks to Mr. Sanil Salvi, who was helpful and gave us wonderful suggations to choose right dish to eat and thanks to him for taking care of us during our last visit to restaurant.
Talking about the food..
They serves cusuines like North Indian, mughalai, Chinese and seafood. We've tried their seafood and North Indian cuisine, which tastes very delicious.

Good food good ambience and good service, ac and terece open sitting is there which is good in winters foe having fun with friends and enjoying food and drinks.

I highly recommend this place for good food and descent ambiance. Good place for dining out near teen hath naka area, Thane.
Rooftop has open and family section.
Sometimes service is bit slow but the veg, non-veg food is tasty here. Cocktails and mocktails are not that great.
They accept reservations before 8 PM.

The shelter is imprinted on the minds of every thanekar, serving with the same amount of love & passion since 1979, the place is based on the theme “home away from home”. The first floor is for all the senior citizens & male customers, the second floor comprises of open terrace & adjacent to it is the section exclusively for the families. We chose to dine at the open terrace & we loved the chill vibes over there.

• bombil fry - spicy & crispy, very scrumptious.
• roasted bbq chicken & chicken pepper kebabs - as delicious as it looks, had the perfect balance of flavours.
• prawns tawa fry - fav from the list, spicy & properly marinated.
• nawabi masaledaar chicken & prawns malwani - the nawabi being their signature dish was simply amazing, malwani’s gravy could have been thicker.

A very casual restaurant with an open terrace dining option. Food quality & quantity is relatively good considering its average cost per dish. Alcoholic & non alcoholic beverage available too. The only part that they lagged was in terms slow service. Hygiene is maintained & staff is supportive & well mannered. Vallet parking is available!
Overall a decent option for a lazy weekend to enjoy with friends & family!!
