Review Saiemaa's Family Restaurant & Bar - Thane

Saiemaa is an old favorite haunt of ours in Thane. Good food, good ambience and courteous staff are the hallmarks of any good restaurant and Saiemaa has it all. Now they have renovated the place and it looks fabulous! The food is good as always. Our regular favorites include their Chicken Biryani, Tawa Prawns, Green Thai Curry and rice. This time we went for lunch and had Chicken Maratha with Rotis and Parathas. One dish was more than enough for 4 people. Even one paratha was very filling. Tawa prawns were as usual to die for. Very good value for money. You also get alcoholic beverages here. A must visit if ever in need of good lunch near Teen Haat Naka, Thane West! Recommend!

Good place, went there specifically to Veg Maratha. But their version was quite different, they have sort of small Koftas in gravy, instead of vegetable pakoras in gravy.

Location - Along the service road near Teen haath naka. Food- Good food and nice ambience. A variety of veg and non veg options available across different cuisines. Staff and service was good. If the restaurant is full, then there is a possibility of order getting delayed. Valet parking is available This place accepts card payment.

This is one of the big restaurants when you go inside. There is a dining area and 1 floor on top with it. Then there is basement are with a clear bifurcation into smoking area and non smoking area. The food here is tasty and the service is fast. The waiters are polite. The ambience is good and a little music could have made it very good There are screens available to watch live match etc as per the schedule. There is valet parking available but justb1 person manages it so there could be waiting time or park your own.

Saiemaa’s Family Restaurant and Bar is an Indian restaurant that has been serving customers for 18 years and has a good reputation. The restaurant also has a bar where customers can enjoy a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines. The place is quite conveniently located on the service road attached to highway and at a key junction of Thane city called Teen Hath Naka. The ambience is quite good, comfortable seating, good AC. Service is quite good. They are quite attentive as well. Food quality as well as variety is quite above average and very good. Both veg and non-veg food are good to taste. This time I tried Fish fry (Silver pomfret & Omelette with chilled beer) The ambience is great, and the glass windows provide a nice touch. The hotel provides valet parking and as it is situated at service road, there is ample place to park. Overall, it's a good place to spend an evening with your family and friends. I liked the place and will visit again while travelling to Thane W (Mumbai).

Good place and tasty food. It's my favorite place . Taste never changed in last 10 yrs. This update to review. Recently I visited again, after the renovation. The changes have happen for good. The food quality ,taste is still the best with upgraded version. The new interiors, ambience is Actually something to look forward to. Overall A upgraded staisfaction. Have A look at the Pics.

Restaurant & bar located near teen hath naka service Road. Now the newly renovated upper section is well improved & quality of Food is excellent now. Mainly know for non veg dishes but Veg dishes are equally great in taste. Quantity is also good service is fast. Can arrange small parties of 20 on upper section so recommended for small parties and get together.

The dining is fine and service is good as well as the atmosphere is quite good. Talking about food the best paneer crispy I've ever eaten, I'm recommending this amazing dish for vegetarians. One thing you have to keep in mind if you are going here for lunch is that the tandoors here close between 2pm and 4pm, though you should reach here keeping these timings in mind.

This is a family restaurant. Food is tasty and quantity is sufficient enough. We ordered veg sizzler , taste was yummy. Worth trying. Staff is polite and friendly.

Dont ever visit this place. I am writing this review after visiting couple of times but they made sure i write such review for them. On my last visit to this place i shocked when i found SHIT on my plate full of cheeselings, food is served cold, nobody is bothered to take ur order, staff too is unethical and stand far away from the word hospitality. Also staff will make sure u tip them VERY WELL or else they ask for it on floor irrespective u got good service or not. So guys make sure you are ready to pay bill along with heavy tip or else get ready to face them. I wonder management isnt serious or bothered or updated about all this happening under their noise.

The ambience is good along with the taste.service provided is good.try the moctails out there they taste really good.the platter was also excellent.

A local bar that serves decent food and a good selection of drinks. A good place if you are looking for a quick couple of drinks and some starters. Decor is OK. Service is good.

A nice place to have good quality food. You get to choose from a variety if cuisines from North Indian to Chinese to Italian. The sea food preparation is also good. Mumbai mirchi kebab is a must try delicacy. Nice ambience and the staff is quite friendly.

I'm a regular customer of saiemaa. The food quality is very nice. Recently was there to have food but found lollipop not up to the mark. Chinese items were good.

Though the food here tastes really good the menu could have been a lil more eye catching. Typical Indian restaurant.. cant expect varieties in cuisines.. Had ordered A veg Hakka Noodles and it was absolutely delicious.. exactly the way Ilike them to be. Had a Kiwi Daiquiri In mocktail n it was unexpectedly refreshing and good! All i would say is to improvise the menu cz its quite confusing to understand!

Best place to visit for North Indian cuisine specially. My all time favourite is the Chicken Maratha with Cheese garlic naan. Also good staff and fast service!

This is a bar and restro located in thane west. As it is a bar , their non veg food is very testy. Veg food over here is also good . You can try some paneer starters , they are amazing. Do give it a visit once.

I came across it when my sister told me after she visited with her friends for Dinner.<br/><br/>This is located at Teen Hath Naka on the service road and is a quite nice place. It's a family dining and bar but very good place for familes to visit.<br/><br/>They serve some delicious chicken dishes. I have tried their Boneless Chicken dishes and also their Chicken Biryani.<br/><br/>I surely recommend this place for people looking out for a nice Dining Bar.

Had been there 2 days ago. We had Chicken Mumbai mirchi kebab and chicken seekh kebab. The first was a bit spicy and the seekh was very dry. Chicken Maratha in main course was just okay. Quantity is good however the food taste is not upto the mark. Also it is overly priced.

This place is very near from my home. Basically it consists of 3 section. One consist of basement one is for family members. One of my favorite dish is murg masala. Nice place to enjoy with family. Ambience is really impressive.

One is family restaurant and Bar, other one is bar section located in basement and recently they have started pure veg section namely Saiemaa's Green.<br/><br/>The food quality is excellent. I would suggest the management to please change their rate card that is given on zomato app. All are fake rates. Taste i will give not more than 2/5. Ambience was also good 3/5. But no matter the Service was very prompt. The order placed came very soon which actually gave me a doubt that was the food fresh. For explorers do not give it a try. You have many other restaurants nearby.

yesterday evening we celebrated our school's reunion and experience was totally worst. Food Quality is not up to the mark and comparatively rate is quiet high. I am not writing this review in any revenge but trust me this is honest review.

This is a family place with good ambience and great food. The food is not over priced and is pocket friendly! They have Veg and Non-vegetarian restaurant next to each other for people who are purely vegetarian.<br/><br/>This place serves the BEST BUTTER CHICKEN (murgh makhani) ever! The environment here was so good that we loved sitting here for long time. The food was absolutely tasty. Also we enjoyed the hard drinks session with it. The service was fantastic. One of the best dinning restaurant at teenhath naka.. Good family restaurant and varieties of food are available for all ages of people. Location of restaurant is reachable. If one is going out of Mumbai via long route bus then can easily get some food packed as this restaurant is situated near bus stop.

We are been visiting this restaurant very often but the quality is getting reduced day by day. Yesterday itself we went to this restaurant on occasion of our friends birthday and previously during diwali also we had visited saiemaas. We had ordered Manchow soup and the taste was very weird like previously we thought it’s our assumption but when yesterday we ordered it was the same it smelled weird as well as tasted bad. So it’s a request to change the soups making method or something needs to be changed kindly go through the soup once and recreate it. Overall it’s a very nice restaurant food was nice only the problem was with the soup.

We could not saviour the taste of food as well. The ambience was good but we couldn't enjoy to our fullest. The taste of the food was average. Average value for money. The staff was in a hurry to get us out of the restaurant as if we were eating free of cost. Also the restaurant staff was quite rude. While leaving couple of my friends thanked the restaurant staff out of courtesy. They didn't even bother to reply. Moreover they behaved as if they couldn't hear us.

A huge variety of food to choose from coupled with decent service makes this a tempting place for an eat out. Located close to the busy Teen Haath Naka in Thane makes connectivity a non issue. Can be slightly over priced.

This is the third time i am visiting this place and day by day they are disappointing me even more. This was the place i always used to recommend my friends a year ago. The ambience is ok and they have not improved in years. Service has become slow and that is why you will see long queue outside their restaurant. They have increased the prices of all the items by almost 15 to 20%. You will have to wait for your order for atleast 30 minutes. And the quantity of food is totally not acceptable. We had ordered for non veg platter worth rs 830 and the quantity was not good enough for 4 people also. They have to improve on their services. Otherwise people will never visit them back.

Food's great be it North Indian or Chinese.<br/>The tandoori and kebabs are delicious and they give good chunks of chicken pieces.<br/>In Chinese chicken lollipop, chicken chilly, Singapore noodles, mixed fried rice and schezwan noodles are good. Chicken crispy was not that good.<br/>Palak paneer was very delicious!<br/>Pasta tasted amazing!<br/>The rates are moderate and overall this place is good in terms of both quality and quantity of food!

It’s a great place for family lunches or dinners. Been there several times. Staff is extremely polite and friendly. The ambience is very sober for a family dine out. I tried Dahi Puri and Aalu Tikki. I liked Dahi Puri better as it had perfect crunch and the Dahi was also moderately sweet. But Aalu Tikki, I didn't find it upto the mark as it was too sweet and the Aalu Tikki lacked the crisp it was too soggy.

Goood for Fine dine and Frds groups.. Sitting Arrengements are bit uncomfortable if heavy 2 Nos persons sits..overall ambience is good. About food taste it's nice..service is poor when it's empty. Quantity is ok OK not less not more. Over all I m satisfied.

It had amazing food. Was there was dinner yesterday and had the mushroom kundan it was yummmy . A must try here. Also the seekh kabab was very good. The paneer chilly. Everything we ordered was awesome!!!

I was here with family on the veg section as that have a separate kitchen for Veg Food. We order Veg Manchow Soup which was decent in taste, then we had 3 Pepper Paneer in Starter which was really amazing and yummy in taste with slightly spicy kick in that. In between I also ordered Mocktail Fruit Punch which way the best I ever had till now. Cumming to dinner my brother suggested me to Pace order as I always do so, after deciding I order Paneer Sultan & Veg Patiyala. Both had red gravy I didn't knew. Paneer Sultan who best in taste with Soft Paneer Cubes. Veg Patiyala was rolled in papad and was very spicy and had all mixed vegetables inside. Must visit place with family.

This restaurant has improved a lot in terms of quality of food and taste,, a decent place nice interiors... They also have option of booking place for birthdays or small celebrations... Their non veg tandoori or mughalai is very well made... However they could improve in Chinese I feel... Recommended chicken chill milli, methimalai chicken, fish tawa, raw as fry

The food that we ordered... Manchurian Soup, chicken platter, Gauti Agri style chicken Handi with Bhakari was excellent. <br/>The ambience was good for family. <br/>Though the taste of Agri Chicken was superb, a small complaint about the pieces, in two handis there were 5 neck pieces, otherwise it was an excellent preparation. <br/>We would love to come again.

We went to Saiemaa's for friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. We had a 3 course meal. The chicken manchow soup and all the starters we ordered for were amazing. When it came to main course, we ordered matka murg since many had recommended that dish. Somehow, the main course wasn't up to the mark. We also ordered for a Chinese dish. One tip: do not order Chinese in a North Indian restaurant! Nevertheless it's a nice place, delicious food and great service 👍🏻

Since saiemaas was a basement bar, I have been visiting this place. It has always offered good food but nowadays the price is just not justified. Never go for sizzlers here. However best place to have tandoori gobi in Thane.

Ordered food at home for dinner with friends.<br/>Ordered paneer kathi rolls, burnt chilly paneer as starters and paneer tawa dhingri for main course. My friends ordered chicken lollipop and butter chicken.<br/>Veg starters were really yummy but the paneer tawa dhingri was not fine. The gravy was a little on the not spicier side - a little bland I would say and the gravy's taste did not blend nicely into paneer. My friends really liked non veggie items - butter chicken and chicken lollipop. The portions are good and enough.

This is a fairly known place in Thane. Situated near Teen Hath Naka, Saiemaa's is among the better ones among quite a few on a stretch of road between Teen Hath and Cadbury junction. I tried its chicken seekh kebab, some chicken dishes and naans. Kebabs were juicy, perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices. Chicken dish was also quite good, easily among the better ones in Thane. Service is good, price is decent. Overall, its a nice place to go once a while

Siamese according to me is perfect family restaurant.. it's big, it's sophisticated, the food is amazing and nice service. Including the prices there is nothing to complain about. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone who wants quality dinning experience with or without family

Nice place to visit with friends and family. Loved there chicken ujiyala kababs. Reshmi kababs were well marinated also tandoori kababs were nice.. Tried Chicken Maratha for first time, good to taste somewhat like butter chicken but spicy.

They serve good veg food and have nice variety of food (continental, asian etc).. ambience is nice and warm especially for families. Service is good.. In all quiet a good place for vegetarian lovers, enjoyed dinner with @reena jinde, @poonam pawar

We ordered paneer chilly, non veg platter and fish fingers, all of it was awesome...especially fish fingers which was yummy. Next time will try for roti and gravy which should be equally good. Keep it up.

I have been visiting Saiemaa now for years and penning down the review based on my experience yesterday. Everyone in Thane knows Saiemaa located at the prime service road of Teen Haath Naka its a decent family restaurant. They have been hit by the latest alcohol ban as its just on the highway so no alcohol fellas.<br/><br/>So we kicked off with Manchow soup and it was below average. The soup lacked proper amount of sauces and apart from sauces I felt salt less in the soup. Disappointed with soup. <br/><br/>Later on, <br/><br/>Chicken Tandoori - It was good after the below average soup. Nice big chicken well marinated and properly grilled in tandoor till its crisped. The masala marination had proper balance of spiciness which made tandoori taste better. **recommended**<br/><br/>Murg Ujjala Kebab - The kebab on the top was garnished with cheese and the masala used for marination was also good and medium spicy. However I felt the chicken had not soaked the masala well and the kebab was not tandoored crisply (it's the way I like tandoor dishes) but on the Ujjala (brighter) side the chicken pieces were soft and juicy. <br/><br/>In Main Course as per captains recommendation we went with Chicken Maratha - You get it with bone and boneless option. In boneless the chicken you get is the shredded one so I went with it. So it has red gravy with shredded chicken and garnished with fried boiled egg. The gravy tasted good nothing outstanding and also I felt the amount of spiciness too much in the gravy. Also do remember half portion of Chicken Maratha is sufficient for 4 people, though the captain will tell you it's not sufficient do not believe him. <br/><br/>We had roti along with Chicken Maratha.<br/><br/>In my last encounter here I had Rice Bhakri along with Desi Chicken Handi which was very delicious. The Rice Bhakari was the softest I have had yet. **recommended**<br/><br/>The waiters over here I feel are bit ignorant. They will see the water empty in your glass and still they will wait till you ask for it. <br/><br/>Along with Tandoor starters they give Dahi Onion which personally is my favorite over here. But but but if you ask an extra of it, waiters & captain just say yes and never get it (happened thrice with me, even though you are ready to pay for it they just dont give extra of it). <br/><br/>To sum up Saiemaa is a decent family dining restaurant but they lack consistency. It's on your luck, someday you get good food and someday it's just average. <br/><br/>Foodizzz✌️

Was here for family dinner & the experience was good. Ambience was nice. Taste was also good. About service was also very good. I will suggest you this place is good for family outing.

Gr8 food and gr8 suggestion by Manager..Chicken Ujala was superb... Cheese garlic naan and paneer tangy was awesome!!! Ambience is not that gr8.. But its worth a try for food!!!!

I was travelling for my home. Just to kill tym before boarding the bus I went in this restaurant. I ordered Pudina Paneer tikka and a fruit punch Mocktail. Paneer Tikka was good in taste while Mocktail was so so. I earlier had a meal der which was great in taste. So from my view Food is good can't say about other beverages. Looking over Ambience it's decent place for dinning with family. Though I found dishes somewhat overpriced especially desert and beverages.

Nice place at a prominent place where tourist generally board buses or end their trip in thane. Looks like a very shaahi restaurant from outside. Ambiance is good enough and service is also good. We had ordered for some starters and drinks. Chinese is better at this place I would say and chicken eaters ull love it. Overall better then any other restaurants around nearby.

Was there on valentines day.<br/>As it's near our place.didnt have time.so had to go<br/>Very crowded .tables are very near to each other.<br/>Guess They were not ready for so many people.<br/>Staff were to busy .<br/>Food quality was not good .<br/>Tandoori roti half baked.<br/>Ordered reshami kabab. was average.<br/>Ordered matka chicken.waiter didn't what he brought .captain said it has brown gravy instead we got red gravy. Was very salty.<br/>Good thing they replaced it.<br/>But in replacement brought kadhai chicken though we ordered agri style chicken.<br/>In all was a disappointing valentine experience

This place is awesome..low price but awsome food..ordered chicken tandoori as starter.it was delicious..for main course butter chicken and naan.. awesome food I can say

Been there for my dad's 50th birthday. Since we were looking a good place to celebrate this special occasion one of my mom's friend suggested we go to saiemaa's. Firstly the location for us was great as we stay nearby. The staff was amazing, they provided good service. The food got delivered quickly, we didn't had to wait for a long time. We ordered chicken banjara for starters, chicken shikarpura + deal tadka + a variety of breads and chicken dum biryani for the main course. The food was delicious and I can guarantee u on that because it was grandma approved 😋😊😜..... The chicken was very soft and tender!! The naan was not chewy at all, like not very hard....it was soft enough for my grandma to eat!! Overall I loved the experience and will surely visit again!!
