*** D'Two States *** A love story of two people coming from a different culture, different background & different cuisine coming together to build their own happy world resulting in a wonderful restaurant known as "D'Two States". This restaurant serves Maharashtrian and Punjabi dishes with keeping the quality top notch. This beautiful place located in a prime location of manpada, thane west is easy to notice. The ambiance of this restaurant is amazing I was totally impressed by it. Would love to share the food & drink I had 📌Sol Kadhi A typical drink originating from the Indian subcontinent. Made from coconut milk and kokum. This drink is high in antioxidants. Popularly known for it's digestive and cleansing properties. The base mix is spiced with local spices which adds up to the taste. 📌Spicy Guava Spicy and Sweetness both together give an amazing taste, the rich texture of guava is just amazing with spicy powder at the tip of the glass. 📌Lasooni kebab Tandoori style kebab, well maintained in garlic paste gives it a strong flavor of garlic. It was perfectly marinated in spices and mild flavor of garlic. We actually had a taste of masala in every bite. The chicken was super soft. 📌Chargba murgh Chicken Pieces marinated into their special hometown masala which had a yummy taste. This was the best dish I ever had till now. Staff is dressed in Punjabi style attire and is prompt in serving you well. The owner herself interacts with you and makes sure you have a memorable experience. Overall I loved the food. A perfect homemade like food is hard to find. I would love to visit again.

There is a beautiful story behind opening this restaurant and the concept does total justice to that story. So this restaurant is owned by a couple so in love. It is truly a beautiful combination of the two states - Maharashtra and Punjab. It is seen in their ambience, interiors, service, hospitality and the authentic food. The owner while practicing psychology realized that people open up when you feed them good food and I couldn't agree more. One side of the restaurant is inspired by Maharashtrian tradition with the phulkari and the other side by the Punjabi tradition with the petha. They have painted the stair walls beautifully which depicts these two cultures. The ambience is welcoming and the interiors do total justice to the concept. In the background you get to hear pleasant traditional music. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They suggest the best of the dishes as per your preference. The best part is that all of them always have a beautiful smile on their faces. Mr. Suraj and Yash are real sweethearts and so is every person of the staff. They took good care of us and made us feel at home. Thank you for your hospitality. Moving to food, we called for the below: 1. Goda kolambi fry 2. Jhinga Amritsari 3. Surmai Amritsari 4. Suya Kebab 5. Chargha Murgh 6. Kothimbir Wadi 7. Kheema pattice 8. Dahi ke kebab Mocktails: 9. Kokam Lemonade 10. Paan Mojito Desserts: 11. Phirni 12. Gajar halwa 13. Kharwas P.S. All of the items above taste splendid and are a 'MUST TRY'. You will be left craving for more. The fish and chicken are perfectly cooked and the spices used are tantalizing to your taste buds. One just cant get enough of it. P.P.S. This is my new favorite place for the love of sea food and chicken. I highly recommend this place and would definitely keep visiting.

Located in a new prime location ; It's a place with good ambience. The sitting arrangements are comfortable and you would be able to spend nice time with your family and friends. The food and service is also good. The dishes they serve are limited but sometimes less is good. And also they have few unique dishes, Must try Surya kebab(chicken stuffed with mushroom, corn, capsicum).

D'Two States is a combination of two cultures and Food, authentic maharashtrian and Punjabi dishes are served. The Ambiance is so much pretty, one side you'll get the vibe of Maharashtra and the other side is of punjab. The staff welcomes in a hearty way wearing those traditional dresses. Coming to Food and drinks - Drinks - (Mocktails) 1. Paan mojito - Refreshing. Must have. 2. Guava Chilli - This was good. Appetizers - 1. Taleleli maasa - Rawas fish prepared in maharashtrian style. It was crispy and delicious. Must have. 2. Mutton sukke - I liked this the most. The Masala was so good and delicious. Highly recommended. 3. Achari chicken tikka - loads of chicken pieces, prepared in Maharashtrian style. Tasteful and mouthwatering. Must have. Mains - 1. Butter chicken - The one and only, goes best with butter Naan. 2. Lahori chargha biryaani - chicken biryaani served with gravy. It was drooling. Highly recommended. Desserts - Paan lassi - This was a huge glass of lassi infused with Paan flavor. It was filling and Bliss after a scrumptious meal. Must have. Overall a good experience with this place. The staff and manager are courteous and friendly. Service is great and on point. Do visit this place and enjoy delicious meals of two cultures of India. Keep up the great work team 👍

As the name says, the restaurant serves two cuisines .i.e. Maharashtrian n Punjabi. The ambience is also blend of these two states. It is located in Dosti Imperia on GB road. Parking space is available. The food served is scrumptious. The staff is well trained. Overall, a good place to visit.

As the name pops up, we definitely can get an idea that this could probably a mix of two cultures which is true and that’s of Punjabi cuisine and Maharashtrain cuisine. Now, what makes this different is bringing the two different cuisines altogether and serving it with an amazing ambience! Well, talking about the staff, they do know how to co ordinate and will suggest you with the best dishes. We tried both marathi and punjabi dishes. Kumbh tandoori, ladooni kabab, kothimbir vadi, shikampuri kabab, paneer tikka, chargha murgh which was in starters and were absolutely amazing. For the main course we had jeera rice, assorted rotis with gaavran chicken and kadai paneer! For the desserts, we had gulab jamun and jalebiicecream which was unique but very tasty. Also we had some nice mocktails like strawberry peach and mango mojito for our refreshments! Had an amazing time over here!

It is Said dat... When LOVE for FOOD bring people together... it creates WONDERS!! When KURTA-PYJAMA met PAITHANI (Clothing), When BHANGRA met LAAVNI (DANCE), When PHULKARI met WARLI (ART), & finally WHEN LASSI met SOL KADI.... D'TWO STATES happened!! D'TWO STATES is an amalgamation of 2 cultures, & a mix of 2 CUISINE (PUNJABI & MAHARASHTRIAN)... The Owners, JUGNU (Punjabi) & PREETI (Maharashtrian) are a cute couple. Their love for food gave rise to the concept of D'TWO STATES.. Being a Maharashtrian myself... I was aware of the menu as 90% Maharastrian dishes are cooked at my home. I was very excited to try out the same dishes at a restaurant... I visited dis place to experience the Marathi-Punjabi fusion. Started wid some MOCKTAILS!! 🥃🥃🥃NARANGI CAIPIROSKA: Amazing flavors.. completely loved it. A must try ad it will make u feel fresh instantly.. 🍹🍹🍹GAJAR KANJI MOJITO: It lacked the flavor of Gajar n Beet. This ws okayish.. Can be skipped FOOOOOOD!!! 🐟🐠🐠🐟BHARLELE BOMBIL: This one is an Authentic Maharashtrian Prep. I love Bombil fry n itz been made in my house for more than 2 decades now... The only new thng was these were stuffed with minced Prawn. The flavor of Prawns go well with The Bombils and the crunchyness is amazing... The dish was a BOMB!! The bombil is coated in Rice flour n semolina n deep fried. LOVED IT!! 🍖🍗🍖🍗CHARGHA MURGH: A speciality from LAHORE, the CHICKEN is marinated in garam masala n other spices and TANDOORED.. Though looks like Chicken Tandoori, the flavors are much different than the classic chicken tandoori. Also these r tandoored fr a longer time than the classic one and has a lil more Charred flavor. Again.. BOMB of a dish!! The weather outside sometimes affects ur appetite and u eat less.. So aftr a couple of Lovely Appetizers I wanted to try the Mains... Instead, I chose a dish frm Maharashtrian Appetizer section to have it as Mains with the Breads.... 🍜🥣🥘GAVRAN KOMBDI SUKKE (Chicken Sukka desi style) First bite n I was like... Is my Mom in der kitchen... The taste ws so similar that I felt it ws my Mommade dish.. Evry MAHARASHTRIAN can relate the dish to their Mom's cooking... Thick chicken curry dish made in Gaavti style... The authentic Gavran chicken is made over wood fire in villages. The smokey taste that comes is heavenly. Since this appetizer had some masala with it, I went for WADA(Kombdi Wada) & GHAAVNE to have with it. GHAAVNE is like a Dosa but a lil thick and is made from rice flour. We Maharashtrians have it wid Nonveg sometimes or as a Breakfst in the morning along with chutney... Some also prefer to have it with Tea... Finally it ws... DESSERT TIME.... Wanted to try Kharvas as I haven't had it in a long time.. I remmbr mom making it when i was in school... Have very fond memories of this dessert😍😍 This is a Star dessert here & gets Out of Stock quickly... visit for Lunch if u wanna try it... So went for PHIRNI.. the consistency ws good and most importantly.. it had proper sweetness. Lots of ppl make it over sweet which kills the flavor. I wud recommend to try PHIRNI here... HOPE U GOT A BRIEF IDEA OF WAT D 2 STATES HAS TO OFFER.... SO NXT TIME U AROUND GHODBUNDER ROAD, THANE... DON'T FUHGET TO VISIT D'TWO STATES... AS FAR AS THANE PPL R CONCERNED... VISIT ASAP!!

Decent decor, delicious food, good portions. The kitchen is bit slow takes too long prior to serve food. They do charge service fee included in bill which is good hence you don't bother to check for change for tip. The restaurant has full potential to grow but need to workout on pricing to compete with neighbouring Ceremonial Kitchen who are already doing pretty well.

D'Two States is located at Ghodbandar Road and is easily accessible from the main highway. Their ambience and name goes hand in hand. They have maintained the decor in Maharashtrian and Punjabi vogue. This restaurant is owned by a Maharashtrian- Punjabi couple and they have depicted the same. They have exhibited left side with Maharashtrian adornment and right with the colours of Punjab. The staff is cordial and courteous. D Two States, as the names states it tale of two different cultures i.e Marathi and Punjabi. The name has no relation with the movie Two States. Here the owner are the couple where the Husband is Punjabi and the wife is Maharashtrian. Ambiance : The place is basically divided into two parts one side for Punjabi decor and other side for Marathi Decor. The sitting arrangements are quite Decent and is good for a big family as well. On one side you will see Punjabi Decor like pagdi swords etc and on other side i.e Marathi you will see Paithani saree and worli paintings Food : Coming to food they have 2 types of cuisine i.e Marathi and Punjabi. They have decent options for both Veg and Non Veg. We were very well assited by the satff regarding what we should order and the history behind the dishes aswell. So we started with mocktails 1) SolKadhi (Highly Recommended) : Well SolKadhi is typical Maharashtrian Drink which is usually accompanied with rice or after the meal. The drink consists of coconut milk and kokam and is a bit spicy 2) Agaltini : It was a refreshing mocktail which basically consisted of kokam sharbat black sakt and pepper. Coming to starters we had 1) Sikhampuri Kebabs ( Highly Recommended) : This dish was one of the perfect dishes I had in recent times. The Kebab was fired to perfection and the potatoes stuffing was amazing to taste. The best part was it had hung curd between the stuffing and it went very well with the stuffing. Full marks for the chef for the perfection in cooking this dish. 2) Achari Paneer Tikka: Panner tikka had amazing flavour and was marinated perfectly. In main course we had 1) Sarso Da Saag (Highly Recommended) : The grain used in the dish were form the recent harvest as its harvested only during winter season. The dish was amazing to taste and we could smell the aroma of pure ghee which was mesmerizing. It was well accompanied with Butter Naan. 2) Murg Musalman : My friends love this dish and the staff told us that the Murg Musalman they serve is the authentic one. It was medium spicy in taste nd wasn't accompanied with the rice. In desert we had 1) Karwas: Well it was okay to taste. The dish can be improved. 2) Chocolate Overload Paan : This is not your typical chocolate paan. It was meetha paan served with chocolate sauce. It was amazing to taste and perfect dish to end your dinner with

D'Two States is located in Dosti Imperia, manpada, thane west. Door is like rajwada door..After entering inside, you’ll see the beautiful warli and phulkari artworks. You’ll be greeted by the waitress wearing nine-yard saree and waiter wearing pathani coat/ sherwani .Even the upper mezzanine section has different stairways. In starters, we had Aloo tiki and Batata Vatana tikki. For some refreshment we tried their mocktails namely Jaljeera Ginger Ale and Paan Mojito. In main course,Pindi choley and butter naan. Pindi choley is highly recommended. In Desserts, we had Paan Lassi.Paan gives an irresistible twist to all time favorite Lassi.Paan Lassi is highly recommended Ambience-5/5 Service-5/5 Quality-4.5/5 Quantity-4.5/5 Great Ambience!!! D Two States is an authentic fusion of Maharashtra and Punjab serving true flavours of Maharashtrian and Punjabi food under one roof. The outlet is near Manpada and 15-20 minutes away from Thane station. The place decor is also split into two states from middle and the variety of non veg served is just finger licking. The staff is also very polite and humble and the hospitality show by them is recommendable. Tried their Non veg platter consisting of achaari chicken tikka, butter chicken tikka and Murgh Malai Tikka. Each of the bite was so tasty and craving. Also the Dhuadhaar Chicken gravy was so thick & spicy gravy along with butter naan. The place is a treat to dine out with friends and family as well. With an happening environment.

Hello folks!!! Do follow theheavy_eater on instagram D'two states is the fine dine resto with a benevolent motive to delight customers mood with good food. The name has the reason as it consists both Maharashtrian and Punjabi cuisines. Food: We tried a variety of starters in both veg and nveg. In chicken we tried platter of achari chicken tikka, lasooni kebab, and chicken stuffed with minced mutton. The chicken was properly cooked, well marinated and tasted delicious with green chutney served along. In fish we tried patyalache bombil and goda prawns fry. Both of these were crisp cpoked in semolina and tasted delicious. In veg we had kat wada, a must try dish because of its composition and a lingering taste of wada with amazing gravy. Highly recommended one. Main course we tried both punjabi and maharashtrian one. Lahpri murg was tasty and had good chicken pieces with red gravy. Kolambiche hirve kalvan resembles farly to thai curry, but this one was utterly delicious with prawns and green gravy. Highly recommended. In drinks we tried Apricot with vanilla ice cream. Soothing and amazing blend of both the ingredients. In desserts we tried their dishes in the launch pipeline. Fusion ice creams like jalebi ice cream, puranpoli ice cream, ukdiche modak flavoured ice cream and motichur ice cream. You can actually feel the blend and definitly this was the first time I have tried such combination of normal desserts in ice cream. Each has its unique taste and is a must try. Highly Recommended 👌👌 Ambience: The ambience is beautifully crafted which reflects the traditions of both Maharashtra and Punjab. The Warli carvings, modern design and wall art alongside stairs that lead to Dhaba style seating are eye catching and definitely serves the purpose of experential dining Staff: The staff is dressed in punjabi style attire as and is prompt and serves you well. The owner herself interacts with you and makes sure you have a memorable experience. Mr Rajesh assisted us with the selection of dishes. An amazing place to hangout with family, friends and loved ones. Happy dining 😊

The name D' Two States describes itself as a combination of cuisine of the two states. Namely they are Punjabi cuisine from Punjab & Maharashtrian cuisine from Maharashtra. • Ambience - This place has the decor which shows the origin of village type feel of Maharashtra & Punjab with a great interior. They have chair seatings downside the stairs & upside they have sofa seating. But upside seating is a little bit compact. Instead would prefer seating downside. Staff members are very friendly and helpful to choose your menu when you're new here. • They serve Solkadhi as a welcome drink in copper shot glasses. Chilled & taste perfect. Food items I ordered and highly recommended are enlisted below - - Fresh Lime soda - Chilled & refreshing to quench your thirst. - Masala Papad - Upto the mark with adequate toppings of tomato & onions mixed with spices.. A must try. - Tik Wada - Maharashtrian popularity of potato vada served with spicy tomato gravy on top. - Veg Shikhampuri Kebab - Originating from the royal kitchens made freshly from stuffing made with hung yoghurt, green chillies, onions & coriander. Served with mint chutney & salad. - Dhuandaar Paneer - Diced Paneer pieces cooked slowly in a hot & spicy gravy with authentic Maharashtrian style. Can be enjoyed with tandoori roti, naan, etc. • Ratings - • Ambience - 5/5. • Service - 4/5. • Food - 4/5. A must visit place to try out something authentic food with a twist of state cuisine experience food. Really nice place to enjoy food with your friends and family. Kudos to D' Two States.
Foooodieeeeee
I ordered for butter chicken spicy as they have two option. Butter chicken n butter chicken spicy.
It was too too sweet with hardly any pieces I could actually count the shredded pcs not more than 6-8.

Very disappointed with the dish.
Rotis were very thick, no butter at all. I paid for tandoori n. Butter roti but due to tandoor issues they gave tawa roti which was fine but even those were hopeless. Very disappointed

I have been here earlier before lock down n had liked the veg food served but today's order was :( :(

I have been looking for some delivery when I visited my Thane home .
I opted for delivery from D’Two states.
And to my surprise the all delicacies what we ordered were so tasty that we can never forget.
Safety of good is as I was expecting.
The delivery was done on the time even though it was raining.
Packaging was good enough to protect from water.
Here is what we opted for
1) Sukhi Bhindi: the Bhindi must have been tender to make this type of vegetable . The aroma of spices was really very good
2) Paneer Biryani: Biryani is alway a dish to relish. It was made superbly and can say it might be chef special
3) Roti: it was soft and wasn’t burnt
4) Dal tadka : I always relish on this. Very good dish

Overall a good taste of all foods..
The decor and ambience is fab; perfect blend of marathi and punjabi cuisines; great place for family get-togethers; specially love the paan mocktail it's a must try!😍
FoodHooverzz
The gajar halwa here is relatively more expensive that the other places, but since there is Zomato Gold, you kind of get is for a decent price.

The quantity is good, packaging is a little fragile- you need to transfer the contents into another vessel quickly to avoid any leakage.

The taste of the gajar halwa was average. Alot of Dalda ghee is used (see picture) and that takes away the original flavour.
Ankush Goel
We ordered 2 dishes. The Resurarant did not have the courtesy to send basic complementary like onion pickle along.. Should not take there customer fir granted. However the taste was up to the expectations.

Overall had a #notgood experience. We had sikumpuri kebab for starters that was known to be their best seller but it was not worth as it was mainly filled with potatoes instead of vegetable stuffing .For main course had maki roti that was okiesh and amritsari kulcha that was again over stuffed with potatoes .Had it with Malvani paneer that was very much tasteless. Also ordered fresh lime soda that was not worth for the price. For dessert we had gajar ka halwa but due to time constraints, had the halwa parceled only to find the carrots were a bit rotten in taste..

The service was all fine till the main course. During the main course, there was butter chicken that was served to two of my family members and in a large quantity who are pure vegetarians. Then the maa ki dal was served to only 5 people without informing us, when we were seven.

Shabbily they shrugged the matter without a serious demeanor and then much much later apologized. They lacked basic etiquettes that you need to run a restaurant. When that's a mood off, we tend to not enjoy the food either. The food was good.

The taste of punjabi starters and main course was too good. Definitely worth it

A lot of you guys would have watched 2 states. But you guys should definitely try this place in Thane which is D'Two States. It has an amazing ambience which is very beautiful. I tried their chole bhature and trust me on this, they were absolutely a treat. The taste was out of the world. Great taste.
Malai cheese paneer Tikka is brilliant as well. Perfectly marinated and garnished. The paneer was fresh and the dish was presented beautifully. This place surely knows how to make delicious food. A must visit place.

Food was not worth the money and not tasty. Expensive resto. Only Main course gravy was good.

Visited this place last month and was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was. Everything that we ordered was great in taste. The service was courteous and the ambience is pretty decent too. We ordered the following items-

1. Tambda Rassa- Really flavourful chicken broth. It wasn't too spicy and was the perfect start to an amazing meal.

2. Paya Soup- This was a very mild flavoured goat trotter soup. Very lightly flavoured. The spices used were very minimal. The paya though was undercooked and on bringing it to the notice of our server, he immediately replaced it with nalli nihari soup.

3. Kothimbir Vadi- I absolutely loved this. The vadi was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavour of fresh coriander used in the vadi was simply amazing.

4. Paneer Tikka- Really soft paneer cubes coated with spices and grilled to perfection in tandoor. The paneer used was really fresh and the masalas used gave it an amazing smoky flavour.

5. Mutton Seekh Kebab- The kebab was really soft and delicious. It was a little on the spicy spice but overall it tasted amazing.

6. Chicken Fry- One of the must dry dishes here. This had boneless pieces of chicken coated with a thick batter of spices and deep fried. This was crunchy on the outside but the chicken was so so juicy on the inside. The chutney served with it really complimented the dish well.

7. Paneer Kolhapuri- This was an okay dish. Not spicy at all. We had specifically asked for this to be spicy but it was really mild.

8. Malvani Fish Curry (Kingfish/Surmai) - The fish used was really fresh. The flavour was quite good. I tried this with a portion of steamed rice and it tasted really amazing and comforting.

9. Malvani Prawns Curry- Again the prawns used were really fresh. The curry was a bit spicy but tasted really well with freshly steamed rice.

It is a very good place to have both maharashtrian and punjabi food.
Food is amazing but what would take me there again is the warmth of owner lady and entire staff.
Apart from menu, when we ordered dal rice for baby, owner personally came to us and offered varan-bhaat-toop for baby which was really a sweet gesture and i highly appreciate the same. They did not even charge for it.
Would like to visit again. Its the best place for family lunch.

I loved this food and management a lot.

Two states as it's name suggests serves 2 cuisines- Punjabi and Maharashtrian. Limited but interesting menu items listed. Ambience and service was good. Agri chicken curry and kombdi vade was excellent. We also tried makkai di roti and sarson ka saag. Price is slightly on the higher side but worth the taste.

We were looking for season’s first Sarson Da saak and hence with high expectation went here. However it was disappointing experience. Quality was nit upto the mark. Need to improve on quality (Butter immediately). The high price is not jistified with the quality.
We ordered as below:

Starter: Paneer Chilli - Average. Felt bit less qty.
Main course: Sarso Da saak : Average (may be we have high expectation). Butter (was yellow and not white) served with this was tasting wierd and was sticky.
Paneer Burji: good. was not hot but warm when served.

Ambience is good but staff was looking dull and not motivated.

Overall Average experience. Will avoid this place.

We went here for dinner today mainly curious with the concept.. however the overall experience doesn't match to the hype it creates with its name. In all the dishes we ordered, the portion size were small compared to the price they charge. All in all, can be visited once but definitely not a WOW place. They also charge service charge without customer consent
Himanshi
A beautiful family place, worth a visit with a decent and courteous staff, this place offers a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
While i was here, i tried a couple of dishes, starting with the appetizers, i had mutton seekh kebab, the mutton was well minced a rolled along the seekh, it had a great smoky flavor of the tandoor.
Next, i had chicken malai tikka, it was juicy, non spicy and bursting with amazing flavors.
For main course, i had maa ki dal which is basically dal makhni prepared in generous portions of malai and butter and accompanied the same with butter naans, it's the best combination for me always!
Sunit Thakkar
Amazing food... pleasant ambience... had authentic maharashtrian meal after a long time... service was prompt loved the concept... awaiting to visit again

This place has a beautiful ambience. Their best seller item Sikampuri kabib is awesome and special dish Dhundar paneer cost rs. 420 is also delicious.
Menu is filled with many good options. Liked the paneer tikka.
Presentation was decent and better than others.
Jeera rice and dal fry is my favorite you should try this once. Buttermilk is really tasty. Gajar ka halwa is also good. Thank you D'Two States for amazing Dinner.
Ankit Joshi
Disappointing and high priced with lack of taste. Not recommended place for veggie lovers.
Their best seller item Shikampuri kebeb is ok and Special dish Dhuandaar paneer cost Rs. 420 is not at all worth and not upto taste just like paneer dipped in liquid non veg curry.
Ambiance is ok. They charged service charges without customer consent and no where mention in menu however removed it later when raised the concern on same.

To start with a very good ambient restaurant had been for some work in thane manpada as stopped by this restaurant for a quick lunch

We ordered only main course are we were inclined to have a proper lunch so avoided starters so we ordered paneer bhurji and sarso da saag as I love it and rotis with really I would say super service with super food and perfection for the food as well really enjoyed the sabzi and roti then we ordered jeera rice and dal fry which were also good with buttermilk was really good and for sweet we.ordered gajar halwa which was icing on the cake thanks d'two states for the amazing lunch will visit again shortly

Foodie Bunnies
To start with, we ordered some Chole Chat, Malai cheese paneer tikka for starters and appetisers ! Being huge paneer fans, we loved the combination of malai cheese paneer tikka! Definite must try! Chole chat was also quite tasty & decent in taste!
Coming to the main course, we ordered some Paneer makhanwala , dal fry & naans ! The North Indian food was quite amazing & delicious ! If you wanna have some lip smacking North Indian food, we would definitely recommend you this outlet for sure
The service was quite quick & the staff was cordial throughout! Hygiene wise the restaurant was best too

The food we ordered from here ie chicken biryani and butter chicken was truly delightful. Will surely recommend the place
Sarthak Mohanty
Pathetic taste...totally blend ..i ordered through Zomato ..the parcel has no branding of the restaurant nor of Zomato..This food might have come kitchen hub i believe...if a dal khichdi experience is such bad then God knows what would be the review of other dishes.. secondly quantity was less..so shrewd in sharing dal and rice
Rahul Kajave
I ordered 2 chicken biryani from this restaurant. The actual cost of one is 420 RS. Considering amount I pay for one biryani I expect some reasonable quantity to eat for a person to eat one biryani..it is very disappointing that hardly one person can eat one biryani...very less quantity provided for such pay.. don't order online or expect less for what you pay
Prajakta Shivalkar
As the name goes you are offered the cuisine of two stated that is Punjab and Maharashtra. We preferred the punjabi menu reason being we eat Maharashtrian food at home on daily basis. And we were happy with our choice.

The decor of the place is great does justice to the name of the restaurant. They have ethnic charpayees on right side upstairs and sofas on the left side upstairs. The charpayees are actually very comfortable.

The food was flawless. And the service was quick too. Everything was served in copper utensils which was an interesting factor. But it all went well with the theme of the place. So overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend this place.
Banish Rane
It’s An Theme Based Restaurant..They Have Two Section...One Is Punjabi And Other One Maharashtrian...So One Can Enjoy Two Cuisine At One Stop...The Authenticity Is Maintain At Both Cuisine....I Found This To Be Unique And Best...They Serve Best Fish Food Too...The Surmai Fry And Bombil Fry Was Truely Amazing....Prawns Curry With Steam Rice Is Perfect Combination....Best Place To Visiti

Dtwostates serves Punjabi and maharastrian cuisine.

Tried their new dhuadhar chicken. Perfect for spicy food lovers.
Also tried kothimbir vadi, and just tastes like home.
Staff is very courteous and helpful for selecting dishes.

Recently visited a very positive vibes and family dine in near Manpada in Thane called D Two States, two states because the food served typical Maharashtrian and Punjabi with similar resemblance decors. The staff is very courteous and friendly to their customers as well as very much informative towards the dishes which helps in deciding the menu.

They serve both Maharashtrian and Punjabi flavours with authentic flavours. So we ordered their Surmai tawa fry and Kothimbir Vade both of them tasted very good and later tried their special Dhuadhaar Chicken gravy, which was well spicy and proper masalas added to it. It just made my day. In desserts tried their Gulab Jamun and dessert shots both of them is recommended.

The restaurant's cuisine is a mixture of two states, Maharashtra and Punjab. The lovely ambience of the restaurant provides justice to its theme!
We went to D'Two States for dinner with our family. It was around 10:30 p.m., therefore we decided to order the starters and main course together. They had a new Navratri menu, which was quite interesting. We had 'Tambda rassa soup' along with two types of chicken kebabs for starters. For the main course, we had Dhuadaar chicken and roti. The food was tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend their Chicken Lasooni Tikka and Tambda Rassa soup. However, when we decided to have desserts, the waiter informed us that the kitchen was closed. Had he informed us prior, we could have placed the order for desserts well in advance. Would request the management to kindly take last orders prior to closing the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a good experience overall!

I went here along with my family for dinner on a Sunday night. We ordered "patyakhalche bombil" which were awesome. Crispy outside n soft inside. In mains we ordered "gavrani chicken" and kombdi wade. Both were okayish. In Veg, we ordered "Chole kulcha". Chole was good, however kulcha was chewy and hard. Interiors and the theme was eye catchy. Overall a nice place.
Happy dining 😊

Visited this place for the first time for a family dinner. What amazing hospitality. Their online presence is also commendable. Love the way the staff was so good to us especially Mr. Das. Food was a cherry on top.

Went to the restaurant to celebrate wife’s birthday. The restaurant looks spacious from outside but is not . It can comfortably sit around 30-40 people at one time. Food wise - the quality is fine but nothing extraordinary. It’s a good place to try out the fusion of punjabi and maharashtrian cuisine. Over all it wasn’t over the moon kinda experience but it is definitely worth a try especially when you are with family .

Quite an interesting place where the ambiance shows a beautiful amalgamation of modern with traditional Indian art. From the paint to the decor and to the cutlery too; we appreaciated that fact a lot.
Food: Apart from the quantity, the food was tasty. Options were quite limited
Good points for the service and the decor.

1. Veg Bombs - The appetizer which will fill you up completely. It is stuffed with mashed potatoes and veggies. At some moment you might feel like stop eating those but DON'T 😅.

2. Dessert Shots - The dessert stole the show altogether. Their speciality was on the table which had three shots... One had chocolate candy dipped in rabdi, second with gajar ka halwa toppled on puri with rabdi, and for third you might think there is nothing but it had gulab jamun dipped which had an oozing effect in my mouth😍.

Visited this hotel first time after reading reviews on zomato. Though was not happy with the taste of food. As compared to the pricing the quantity & taste was not upto mark. Food was ok, hence skipped the maincourse in that hotel. Chicken lollipop pieces were too small. Expensive restaurant. Good ambience.

We visited this place for dinner. We started off with Patyakalche Bombil and Hariyali Paneer Tikka. Bombil were crisp, rightly coated and fried. Paneer was tender, well marinated and grilled to perfection.

Further we tried Souji Chicken with Wade. We loved the gravy. Chicken was succulent.

We ended our meal with Masalebhaat.

Overall the preparation, ambiance, service to was good.
