The food was finger licking tasty.. i almost forgot to take a picture while eating prawns.. the staff was super courteous and friendly..one of them suggested me which kebab to order and it was perfect..wonderful experience.

I had organized my Dad's retirement party here. Organisation of all the arrangements were fantastic . Food was delicious, starters and welcome drinks were also on point.Customization of menu and arrangements for the programme was well taken care of. Mr. Subhash has been a wonderful host and has always been there at our disposal. Very well co-ordinated with decoration , dining and overall experience was spot on.

The place is located at a nice part of Thane. Less crowded. Good sitting arrangement. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Valet service is available. Try the fish, prawn and chicken dishes. Good place for a nice family get-together. We call up and go but if you reach by 7:45-8:00 you should get a place easily. If you don't want to take your vehicle, you will easily get rickshaws just outside the restaurant. Try it out. It's awesome. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I specifically went here to eat just one dish which was recommended to me by a friend and boy was I disappointed? Not at all!!!<br/><br/>Full marks to the Paneer Tikka. Spicy and soft with just the right flavours in it.<br/>The salad on the side had way too much salt in it though.<br/><br/>I didn't like the Thai curry at all.<br/>The chicken 65 was chewy too.<br/>Chicken Mayuri was tasty.

Good food on a budget! Their chicken platter is a must have with a variety of chicken pieces from chicken malai, chicken tikka, chicken tandoori and kebabs. The Kashmiri pulao with dryfruits is the best pulao one could ever get, for a good price. The desserts too are delicious though the portions could have been better. The service is good and the waiters are polite and engaging.

This restaurant is very good to go with family. I had visited over here many times. Recently I had visited with my family. We ordered non veg as well as veg food. Both are super delicious in taste. The drinks are good. The staff is so cooperative and the service is also good.<br/>The ambience is good and also it is located at very good place. Upavan lake is near this restaurant. A normal restaurant providing Indian and Chinese cuisine. It's definitely pocket friendly I had ordered veg munchow soup a potato starter and dal khichdi and I didn't have a complaint of taste in any of the dishes perfect place to have Sunday dinner with your family

I had ordered Mastana kebabs from here. Though the delivery was on time and the kebabs were very delicious, they had forgotten to pack salad along. When I called and informed them, they apologised and were very polite. They sent sent the delivery boy back with salad and a whole lot of complimentary stuff. 👍

Not visited in person, just ordered from here, but the food is really great, pocket friendly and they deliver pretty quickly. My recommendation is chicken Kali miri kabab. Its juicy, tender and succulent.

This is a really nice restaurant near Bethany Hospital, Thane west. We have visited there twice. The chicken starters were simply awesome. You can safely avoid the fried baby-corn. <br/>Mutton biriyani was simply superb. Chicken main course was also awesome. In total I loved this place and can visit anytime. <br/>Only one point to mention: The price is high.

We were uncertain to order from Cottage since we did not had a good experience with their delivery service earlier as food ordered was not upto the mark. And hence we stopped ordering parcel from them. <br/><br/>Looking at the reviews on Zomato we decided to try ordering one more time from them.<br/><br/>We ordered murgh tiķka masala and I must say this time I was happy with the order. It was tasty. Perfectly marinated. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Gravy was awesome. Must say Cottage fine dine has improved their quality and giving good service to the delivery orders.

Always takes the order wrong... And if told spicy... They make it sweet.... Taste awful... Only soups are healthy here... If told to provide other sides dishes... They would never provide the same... Its recommended that do not waste your money here... It u want healthy soups.... You can try here... Bt just for the soups.. #disappointed customer.. 🙄

today we got pathetic experience with the food that we ordered from cottage. seems they changed the cook who had zero knowledge in making talumein soup. last time their professional chef had made it and this time it seems bec their original chef was on leave they hired a road side cook, who added hell lot of green chillies and beetroot in the soup.

Great authentic Chinese taste! They serve good quantity. Value for money!!

The gravy was great but some paneer were soft and some were nt soft.. it was rubbery

Beer before whisky is pretty risky!! Very old food and liqour joint in thane, but the food wasn't that great. The rooftop tables are best to dine, communicate and enjoy fresh air along with some booze. The food needs lot of improvement as the dishes we ordered were not as tasty as expected (Prawns, chicken and fish). Mutton was not available. The service was prompt. Many local residents approach this place due to its hospitable old-timer owner who runs the show. Cheers!!👍

The family area is quite big and spacious. Perfect spot for every mood, have been there on various occasions. We sat know the rooftop bar with my friends, came over here with my family in the family ac section. Every time we got the same guaranteed cottage service. <br/>The Indian, tandoor is to die for. They have started a new continental menu which is so yum and its also pocket friendly. I visited this place to just pass my time. The arrangement and cleanliness of the place is good enough. You can visit this place with your family for Indian food.<br/><br/>I had an hour to spend and hence we placed our order accordingly. A Manchow chicken soup and A starter. I ordered for Chicken Jawa and the waiter informs me that the chef is not available to prepare this starter. He took some time to let me know about the unavailability of the order. I then asked if Chicken Shanghai could be prepared in Oyster sauce since I didn't want spicy. The waiter agreed.<br/><br/>The restaurant was empty without a single guest. The preparation time for getting the starter took more than 35 mins.<br/><br/>The Manchow was just Ok. Had better expectations considering the setup of the restaurant.<br/><br/>Complimentary Sheng was given though we didn't order for drinks.<br/><br/>We received the Chicken Shanghai in Oyster sauce (that's what I ordered) that was not as per my expectations. It tasted and looked like Chicken chilly with BBQ sauce. I was already late so I got the starter parceled. The starter had a mix of bell peppers, spring onions, chillies and chicken. Most of all, my main intention to order chicken in Oyster sauce was to avoid the spiciness. I didn't visited this restaurant yet, but I do order from here.<br/><br/>Food:- We ordered chicken handi once and Veg biryani once. I have attached pictures for biryani packing. Veg biryani was nice, initially I felt it was dry bt it was superb with all veggies properly cooked. I liked it. Full Chicken handi contains 24 pieces and yes they were big too. I remember being to this place 2 years back and pretty impressed with their service then. Recently ordered home delivery. We ordered diwani handi and panneer lahori. Talking about diwani handi it was amazing. Having a smoky flavour, veggies were perfectly cooked. Panneer lahori was ok-ok. Panneer was soft. Preparation was good then and even now. I wonder why this restaurant is less rated. The management seems to have changed, but the service and preparation of food still remains good and up to the mark.

Decent place for a good chilled air conditioning with chileld beer. Alcohol being served here , that's the best part. Good place for kebabs. Had the chef's special one, too tasty and lipsmacking .

Shitty place with shitty food. The quality has degraded over the years. Nothing special about this place to be very honest.<br/>Coming to their service and home delivery. Service is below average. So we had ordered one chicken fried rice and one chicken chilly, that too on a Tuesday night. These two dishes took over 90mins to reach from the hotel to my place in spite of being just 2 mins of walking distance from my home. <br/>The chicken chilly was nothing like a chicken chilly. It was more of a mix of crispy and chilly. Too oily. Chicken was not a bit tender. Felt like I was eating a bubble gum. <br/>Big big disappointment. And trust me, it is not at all worth their prices!

If you want to waste time, this is the best place for you. They serve you at a speed of one dish per hour. The hotel has a surround sound system of people chit chatting and overall family commotion with in between Sufis by kids crying which are a delight to your ears. They even take time to prepare the menu card!

I had a small function to host. Near to my place very few options were available. After searching we zeroed in on this restaurant. They had a small banquet hall perfect for small parties for around 50 people. When i saw Zomato rating, i was hesitating to book this place. However, as this was the only option available near to my place i booked it. I must say, i was really surprised. The food was really good. All the guests were really satisfied with the food. So i suggest to all that before making an assumptions based on ratings first try this restaurant and deside.

Seems like a government office where the waiters and managers don't care about you. Have to call them multiple times and then they come. They also forget the order at times and you have to remind them. <br/>

On any day leave alone a public holiday you don't expect a place to not have ice, chicken sukka tasted fine but was exceptionally oily. Rest of food was fine but service was not only slow but also disinterested.

Worst service in Thane. Orders are not taken correctly. We had to wait for 45 min for the food, remind them a number of times and were served a wrong order then.

I had been there several times. One of my favourite dish is pahadi kebab and chicken Afghani (gravy) it is good to visit there. But I am disappointed by their slow service😞

This place was a little expensive for the ambiance it offered, especially now that there was no front to the restaurant as half the building is missing in lieu of road widening by the govt. The food was good though. Very limited choice for vegetarians. The waiter himself suggested the dishes for us and they were just amazing. For starters we had the paneer garlic tikka or something of the sort, and the paneer was soft as cotton. Thrilled us a lot. For main course, we tried the veg sham savera which had a green chutney and a red chutney and  cheese koftas. Treat to the taste buds. Low ratings just because of the ambiance.

One of the finest restaurants for having Chicken Biryani. The Chinese starters along with the soups are also a must try. Overall a good restaurant for Chinese lovers.

Been to this place a couple of times. The food here is okay and the ambiance is fine. They have a decent variety. It is one of those places you try out when you are bored of the regular places you go to - just for a change. It will not disappoint you or impress you too much.

A bit over priced for the quality of food they serve. Though the starters are awesome. The kebabs, tikkas and Chinese starters are good enough. A good place to go for the "drinks and dinner" routine with buds or family. Seafood is worth it.

Cottage is like the restaurant next door for me. I have been going here for years. The dine is here is good like any normal restaurant. Ambience is good. Nice restaurant for family dinners. The staff is cooperative. The service is very slow sometimes when they are overcrowded. The best thing is their home delivery. They have a no minimum bill amount policy. They home deliver anything on their menu and without any complains. Rawas tikka is a must try.

The ambience was pretty amazing so we were waiting for our order with high expectations but they failed to do so. Slow service with cold food was served. And cold food means that the food was made hours ago. We had their best selling starter which was tasty. All the food items are over priced. I really dont know if i would like to try this place again.

The menu card is totally different.the cost is too high compare to menu card images which is given by you.the ambiance is not so good.......

Have been a couple of times to this double stored restaurant. I love the location of this restaurant. Always catches my eye when ever I cross that road where it is located. In terms of services the staff are good but can do even more better. Food is just amazing, specifically the Indian food. Recommend this place strongly for a casual dinner or lunch. Till date every time I have gone I have had satisfactory services and food. The cost is also not heavy on pockets. Keep it up guys!

Never order from this place. We had ordered chicken biryani from here and the same had a cockroach in it. When we spoke to them they tried to cover it by saying we will send another biryani again. Naturally we didn't want it after seeing a cockroach in it. Serious issues here. Also our order came after 1.5 hrs instead of 30 mins promised by them. Yuks

Very nice place to hangout with your friends. Had been to this place nearly 4-5 times last month. None of the times I was left disappointed. I ordered tandoori chicken last night and it was not upto the mark.....delivery was in the time.....chicken was cooked but marination was not good......it was insipid really.....i thought i can finish it with the help of chutney, but of no use.....waste of money.....190 for a boiled chicken.....

A lovely place to be with family and friends, good and tasty food, pleasant ambience. Recommend all my friends to b here. Staff on deck very cooperative although felt like they are less to attend the crowd. But i had no issues at all. Overall good place to be. Want to be here for drinks.

This is definitely one of the best dine-in and take-away/delivery restaurants in the area. <br/><br/>The ambience is decent enough, and outdoor seating is available. Spacious and ample seating available. The lights in the hotel are the best thing under ambience. <br/><br/>Almost all starters and main course dishes are very well prepared and the taste is top notch. Portion quantities are on the higher side, and they are quick with their preparations. Chicken curries, Biryanis, Chinese starters & rice are the top dishes here. Price is average, and it's value for money.

Had been there for a dinner with my wife and kid on sunday . It took almost 30 - 35 mins to deliver a sweet corn chicken soup and another 10 mins for the starters. For the initial 5 mins + we weren't even offered glasses and water.<br/>The soup was delivered to the side table and not onto our table untill I questioned the captain whether this restaurant is a self service one.<br/>Over all a restaurant with good taste but extremely slow at service.

Cottage dine serves one of the best prepared meals in the vicinity.the paneer cooked is always fresh and juicy so is the chicken.almost all the main course preparations are extremely well prepared and they taste great.it is reasonable and also is one of the most frequented place by me and my family for proper north indian food as it is near our house.our personal favourites are kadhai paneer,tandoori chicken,murg patiyala,paneer tikka masala and schezwan rice.dont miss out on these :)

Went there for lunch..i heard they serve the best biriyani, i ordered mutton dum biriyani , i had lots of biriyanisss but this type of biriyani i had in cottage only... not that much good... had papad lol.. i ordered masala papad but waiter suggest our to go for roasted papad...n was worst... so i asked them to replace it to masala, and they did that but taste was not that much good... ambience 3/5... service3/5... food" biriyani" 2/5...300rs for biriyani and it was not worth.. overall 2/5... enjoy.. best place visit with family n friends... n they have banquet hall as well, nice banquet hall for birthday parties only... have guys... enjoy ... cheers...

Pieces were tender but they werent cooked in a tandoor ! The restaurant has the ground floor for vegetarians and the first for non veg food. There is an area for open air dining with a good ambience is quite pleasing. The meat and fish have always been cooked well everytime I have been there. The service is very fast if you go early at night but quite satisfactory late at night. Some "must try" dishes are the lemon coriander soup which is simply m,ind blowing . The dal khichadi served there is on eof my personal favorites and goes extremely well with pineapple raita .  <br/>The food quantity is sumptuous . It is a complete value for money . I have even tried the home delivery which i didn't quite like because of the packing but overall a very nice place to spend your night with your family!

This place near Bethany Hospital on Pokhran road is a nice place to hangout with friends. It has a ground floor and a first floor. There is no strict division but families should prefer the first floor as the ground floor is mostly filled with guys boozing with an occasional smoker.<br/>Talking about the food, complete value for money! We ordered a Chicken kalimiri which is chicken barbecued in black pepper sauce, along with the classic Murg Tangdi. The leg piece was the right amount of spice and oil! The black pepper chicken tasted like any other boneless chicken starter and I didn't get the strong pepper flavour and aroma that I expected. The meat was succulent so no complaints there. The portions are enough for 4 adults. Along with the starters we ordered lemon soda, rum & coke and a mocktail called Florida, which is coke mixed with mango and strawberry paste topped with vanilla ice cream. I think it can be avoided unless you want to try something new and weird.<br/>For the main course, we were going to order the clichéd Murg Makhanwala but the captain suggested Murg Patiala. It was a red gravy dish made with boneless chicken pieces along with egg omelette; with garlic naan, it was a fabulous combination! I would definitely recommend the Murg Patiala to everyone, unless you don't like eggs/omelettes. <br/>The orders do take some time to arrive when it is crowded but it can be overlooked because the food is great.<br/>For a wholesome meal, it came to only 450 bucks per person. So it is a place which is worth a visit. They even do home deliveries in the locality which is an added bonus.

I order from here all the time. The food is great and the home delivery is usually on time especially since they added a new counter for take away. Also the ambience of the restaurant is really nice.

Been here couple of times for drinks and dinner. Place is good for quick d&d. Food taste was good. Ambience not that great but not bad at all. Service was quite Ok.

Visited this place last week. The service was quite good. The staff was well behaved. The ambience is also quite nice. Mostly for couples or families. <br/>We had paneer 65 in starters and it was good at taste. The paneer served was tender fresh and soft. We had paneer makhanwala in main course followed by biryani. As told earlier the paneer was very soft. Makhanwala tasted good. The roti was also crisp and warm. Biryani had lots of vegetables in it. The taste was average. Overall the staff was very friendly and food also tasted good. <br/>One visit recommended. <br/>

The place has a good ambience. However it fails to deliver on taste. The Chinese food doesn't deliver at all. <br/>Indian food is however an exception to this rule. It tastes really good. The spices are well measured and the aromas fill your mouth after every bite.

Walked into this place at 11.45 PM one of these days . As hungry as a wolf. Had a royal welcome from the valets who assisted me in parking and escorted the family into the first floor restaurant.dim. The place was dimly lit and hence had to re-confirm whether it was a family joint. Being re assured we went inside to find at least three families having their quiet dinner. One family walked in around 10 minutes later assuring me that the place do cater to late night guests.<br/>Since we were hungry and late we did not opt for the routine soup,starters etc. Based on their suggestion we proceeded to main course straight away.<br/> <br/><br/>We odered Chicken Maharaja (Half) and Roti,butter Nan and butter kulcha. The Chicken Maharaja was excellent. The quantity was sufficient and gravy was very tasty. Surely this dish is their speciality and that could be the reason why the waiter suggested it. Equally impressing was the breads. All of them were excellent. Maybe the hunger added to the taste. Anyway a big thumbs up from my side. Very good place for take away of non veg food. I'm a regular here. Also a good place to have a quiet drink in air conditioned and dimly yet nicely lit environment.<br/>My picks from menu- mutton biryani, schezuan noodles, chicken in oyster sauce.

Very pathetic service they can not manage more number of people. Order given at 10.20 pm and still the answer is 2 mins at 10.55,pm. Not recommended at all
