Review Charcoal Eats - Thane

Yesterday I visit Thane outlet charcoal eats I had 1) classic chicken tikka-5/5 .chicken tikka was amazing I loved it .it was spicy 2)bbq chicken pizza square -bbq Pizza -5/5. It was a puff base pizza and I love it 3) Afghani chicken tikka Biryani-5/5 . Biriyani was tasty loaded with boneless chicken. must have this Afghani chicken biryani highly recommended. 4) strawberry souffle-3/5. It was ok ok I don't like it that much but chocolate mousse and salted caramel mousse was awesome must have that .

Finally we have one of the best eating joint at Rustomjee Urbania Thane. And that's Charcoal Eats. I happen to be in this area every Wednesday. So I decided to visit here for lunch with my colleague. It's a newly opened small and cute outlet. Attendant welcomed us with a smile on his face, was really polite and helped us choose the best. This outlet is Hygienically maintained plus you can find sanitizer placed on every table along with tissues. We went ahead ordering for: Veg Galouti Kebab: Though I'm not a starter person but as it was served I got mesmerised by the aroma and the presentation and ended up having it. Paneer Tikka Pizza: Pizza's by Charcoal Pizza are simply best. I just love the Pizza prepared on crunchy puff base. Awadhi Veg Biryani: It's one of the best Biryani I ever had... Simply delicious. Strawberry Soufflé: Any meal without a dessert is always incomplete. I usually prefer Chocolate based dessert, but as it's a Strawberry season I ended up ordering Strawberry Soufflé and "yummy" was what I felt tasting it. Service was quick too. Definitely worth visiting.

Another new outlet in Thane, urbania city. Ambience and service was good Ordered: Starters-one of the best signature chicken seekh kebab I ever had Pizza square: the peri peri chicken pizza was disappointing because of the base it was very thin and seemed flaky but overall, like toppings and all was good Biryani: Afghani chicken Biryani was very nice Dessert: chocolate mousse cake was very good Had an great experience at charcoal eats!! This is a franchise outlet of Charcoal Eats. It's inside the Rustomjee Urbania. You can come via Saket Complex or from the Eastern Express Highway. This place is small with 4 tables, good for small groups. Mostly take aways and online orders keeps this place busy. Opens at 11:30 am and closes at 11pm. Food is served quickly as it just needs to be warmed up. Chicken rolls, Biriyani and pizza are the fast moving items from the menu. They also serve tea, coffee, ice tea and chocolate moouse. Edit: New menu does not have pizza and Mutton Biriyani and Mutton rolls. Price has been increased too. Biriyani is tasty. They have added pavs and curries to the menu. Staffs are friendly and service is good.

A place where every biryani lover must visit it is a restaurant with a capacity of 10- 15 people approx but the food over here is just great seriously the food over here was full of flavour and aroma The service over here was quick enough and the staff was super friendly. Dishes we tried Dahi ke kabab The kababs were fried to the perfection of the golden colour it was crunchy on the outside and soft from the inside. Paneer tikka square pizza This dish is a must try coz it was my fav for sure the crust was significant of the pizza asa well as the toppings of paneer tikka was right on flavour. Veg Afghani biryani It just took my heart ,a bite of the Biryani just took me to the heaven. The aroma and the flavour of the biryani were just perfect as required. I couldn't literally stop after having a spoon of biryani. Chocolate mousse As I said the the flavour over here are perfectly balanced the chocolate mousse wasn't over sweet and can be consider by not the sweet tooth person. Over all this place is a real Rock star the food and service is really great it's definitely worth a try 👍.

What we have ordered 🔷Veg galouti kebabs- If u visit this place then must try this kebabs here. Mixed vegetables with crunchy peanuts and spices this dish was completely unique..!!! Crisp and crunchy coating with soft filling from inside...this was amazing. 🔷Paneer tikka pizza- here you will get pizza in sqaure shape. Base of pizza was not common as we find in other pizza's. Charcoal Eats Express is the answer for easiest,quick delivery option!.located in the very heart of Thane City@Upvan, this delivery outlet has take away & selected area delivery service too! You can scroll their app to dig into more of typical charcoal grilled menus!. On a casual weekend, last week, we had ordered & inspite of peak time, the delivery service was fairly quick & jovial!. The packing seemed top notch, with out any spill offs & steamy aroma was retained!. we had ordered several stuffs, like for drinks we had Honey Mint Ice Tea, it was sizzling chilled & flavour of honey & mint was splendid!.every sip was refreshing & good in taste!. Been a few times and have also ordered online from this Rustomjee outlet. Here is my take on this outlet:<br/><br/>- Food tastes good when you go and dine in. But if you order online they send you really bad and sometimes burnt food.<br/>- The lady at the counter is a bit rude and unwelcoming. But sometimes you meet her dad who is very friendly and really nice to talk to.<br/>- Priced a bit on the higher side if you don't have any offers or discount coupons.<br/>Overall a hit or a miss thing, depends on the day.

Biryanis are always good. Enough quantity for one person. Try the tikka biryani it was very well cooked. Delivery is fast too.

The best biryani that it was once, tastes the worst now. I order awadhi chicken biryani and i got turmeric rice with masala less chicken pieces that only had bones. WAYYYY TO EXPENSIVE WITH REGARDS TO QUALITY, QUANTITY, TASTE. I've had biryani for charcoal eats innumerable times and i never used to be so disappointed. Ordered 2 times recently and threw away half of the "turmeric rice" you guys better improve or else lose most of the loyal customers that you had

My impression was in front my wife was ooooo ! let me Call them …..uuuummmmmm …….lets go to some other place….and I was totally insulted by charcoal eats in front of my wife.<br/><br/>Then from Rustomjee I called charcoal eats at 9022500500 and the representative was like<br/><br/>The representative pick up my phone after 20 min around 11:20 PM<br/><br/>{ the restaurant teeming is 10:30 PM closing time what I can do. I have already told the dineout to change the time, its dineout problem. U talk to dineout. Go to outher outlet and u will get food if that open that time. And u have to make another booking to get the offer}<br/><br/>I have spent my 35 min of driving from my home Thane to Rustomjee About {7 KM} to have food and burned almost 500 INR of petrol for this place. I am late to place a review. Better late than never. I ordered Paneer Makhani Biryani I received all dry rice and there was curd instead of Raita. I do not like curd but I like Raita. I had much better experience when I was delivered food from other charcoal outlet.

Dal makhani that i ate here reminded me of Delhi food which had a similar taste.<br/><br/>Do try galouti kebab its also very delicious and yes biryanis well made with dum and spices. You can make out the aroma when you eat it and feel like having more.

Awadhi chicken and butter chicken biryani that i orderd from here was good in taste however in Biryani i found less peaces of chicken for the price charged. I wish you give little more quantity of chicken next time however taste was good for sure.

i just ordered chicken tikka biryani worth rs 410 ( incl of taxes) and i am extremely disappointed with the quantity !<br/>Very less quantity for the price.....There are much better hotels which serve good quantity & quality of biryanis !

Got a fully burnt product. The size is similar to a bread loaf. Taste wise, it's was good. Chef should take care of what he is serving to guests.<br/>You can see, you have over cooked it, then also you serve it to your guest... Think would you like to eat this, if you are paying the value for a well cooked product and not a overcooked burnt product.

Not received order as per menue and not even taking care what they have sent.. do not order anything from this resturant and zomato also not taking care of any.

But trust me guys, there customer service is so good that they contacted me somehow and they were sorry for whatever i faced...and the Awadhi Chicken Biryani is so good i would rate it 5/5. The chicken pieces were tender and fresh. And the Chocolate mousse was something i hadn't expected...it was too yummy, creamy and not too sweet! Kudos to Charcoal Eats! Recommended 100%

Ordered a biryani at my office along with hara bhara kebab. The biryani was not good in taste, and hara bhara kebab was good. But I wish they would have give some chutney along with the kebab. Really need to work on these things.

Quantity of food ordered was very less, as if nothing. when I spoke to the restaurant they were very rude and spoke as if I had done a mistake ordering .

Must try for biryani lovers. Recently ordered a butter chicken biryani and it accompanied with raitaa. Initially I was suspicious about the taste but must say all my anxiety immediately went off as i had the first bite. Along with the delicious flavour of rice the chicken pieces too very tender and flavour full. Definitely going to order more often.

Taste is very bad. Worst food. Quality is not upto mark. Over priced and over hyped. Dont go to the place or order food from here unless this is the last option for you. I ordered Biryani and i received chicken gravy poured on coloured rice. a lot many options available at cheaper price with far better taste.

If I have eaten the best fries till date, Charcoal Eats is hard to put to the second position. Such soft, creamy and deliciously satisfying ones. I ordered momos too. They missed the northern mark of quality but were well stuffed with a little spicy fillings. Highly recommend this outlet to quench your evening bursts of hunger.

Recently I happened to order food from the Charcoal Eats outlet at Castle mill.<br/>As per expectations, I received order on my Time and I was impressed with the packaging.<br/>Chicken Seekh starter and Chicken Galouti pav were among the appetizers. Galouti Pav, I must say melts the Galouti melts in the mouth loaded with richness of flavours .<br/>For the mains we had Bombay Masala Puff Pizza. The best part is the pizza base here, the crisp puff base feels light yet delicious.<br/>Butter chicken Biryani, we ordered it to be more spicy and they obliged to perfection.<br/><br/>To cool off, you have the strawberry Souffle among the desserts.

We ordered a chicken tikka biryani which was said to be fabulous at charcoal eats. Good marketing, good menu, great packaging but sad food. <br/><br/>Delivery(4/5): Ordered via zomato and the delivery was hasstle free<br/><br/>Packaging (5/5): Unlike other places which send out a box with lid. Here was a good grade plastic box sealed with a thick plastic cover. That was too impressive.<br/><br/>Quantity(1/5): The box was just halfway filled. Pictures justify. Could not even suffice one person after having had rotis.<br/><br/>Taste(1/5): Two chicken pieces coated with some weird tasting gravy topped with dry rice and stale fried onions. The biryani was utter tasteless and disappointing.<br/><br/>One of the worst experiences with food till date. <br/><br/><br/>

ordered stuff from online app zomato, they took 50 minutes too cancel the order without giving valod reasons. Zomato is fooling the users by posting offers on their page n their riders behave very rudely.

It is too good. The ambience is utmost and the food is amazing. . Too good for family and friends hang out. Kids will love the chocolate mousse.

Not a place good enough to hangout and have a bite. Just 3 tables. All food is served in take away boxes. You are expected to eat biryani with a super small wooden spoon. Portion size is very small. Over all good for home delivery not for dine-in. One star is for the chicken Tikka wrap rest food is average.

The food delivered was burnt. Was expecting better. Have heard a lot about the taste however bit disappointed. Delicious tandoori loaded fries, chicken galouti kebab is yummy too, melts in mouth super soft. Chocolate mousse is yummy too. We had a good time.

ordered hyderabadi biryani and peri peri pizza. had a worst time eating these two items. pizza base was made of puff and biryani was simple plain rice with some spices. I would highly recommend not to order from them to all.

I would definitely call myself a loyal customer of Charcoal Eats because I have already ordered a lot of times from their outlet at Rustomjee Urbania,Thane.<br/><br/>The deliver is always on time and the food is delivered in first class quality containers. A place where every biryani lover must visit it is a restaurant with a capacity of 10- 15 people approx but the food over here is just great seriously the food over here was full of flavour and aroma<br/>The service over here was quick enough and the staff was super friendly.<br/><br/>Dishes we tried<br/><br/>Dahi ke kabab<br/>The kababs were fried to the perfection of the golden colour it was crunchy on the outside and soft from the inside.<br/><br/>Paneer tikka square pizza<br/>This dish is a must try coz it was my fav for sure the crust was significant of the pizza asa well as the toppings of paneer tikka was right on flavour.<br/><br/>Veg Afghani biryani<br/>It just took my heart ,a bite of the Biryani just took me to the heaven. The aroma and the flavour of the biryani were just perfect as required. I couldn't literally stop after having a spoon of biryani.<br/><br/>Chocolate mousse<br/>As I said the the flavour over here are perfectly balanced the chocolate mousse wasn't over sweet and can be consider by not the sweet tooth person.<br/><br/>Over all this place is a real Rock star the food and service is really great it's definitely worth a try 👍.

Perfect taste no one can every copy or beat this one .<br/><br/>Chicken galoti was like muffins . We had ordered peri peri pizza and charcoal eats’ special fries to eat and Biryani for takeaway. The order was served immediately. Food is awesome and even the ambience. Overall a good place to hangout with friends. P.s. do try the biryani for sure.

This beautifully decked up outlet of Charcoal Eats is a must visit for every Thanekar. They even deliver food through Zomato, Swiggy, and UberEats. Charcoal Eats is well known for their chicken biryanis, which are packed with flavors. You get to order even half kg of biryani which is very sufficient for a single person. I had the hot and spicy 'Classic Hyderabadi Biryani', which was luscious and filling. It had lots of chicken in it and was nicely spiced up. For starters I had their 'Classic Chicken Tikka' which was juicy and zesty. It went well along with the ketchup. The chicken was tender and the pieces were huge. If you want to try their Pizza squares, go for their Peri Peri pizza square. The trio of chicken, cheese, and spices is sure to steal the show. Moreover, these pizzas come with a crispy puff crust. Also try out their Chocolate Mousse. This thick and creamy mousse is rich on taste and surely a nice option to end your meal. The staff at this outlet is very friendly and the service is impressively quick. It's a very neat and clean place with soothing background music. This outlet is highly recommended for some delicious biryanis and chicken starters.

Charcoal Eats has made it’s way to my very own Rustomjee Urbania. I had tried the food from this famous franchise at their other outlets earlier and their entry to Rustomjee Urbania has sorted my problem of getting a good Biryani delivered quickly. <br/><br/>After a long day at work I came home craving for Mutton Biryani and that’s what I ordered straight away from Charcoal Eats. The food was delivered in a superb quality package and it was properly hot. <br/><br/>What do I say about the taste? It has become my favourite Mutton Biryani. I had also tried their Awadhi Chicken Biryani and Afghani Chicken Tikka Biryani earlier. Both of them were excellent. My only note to you all is to mix the Biryani before tasting or judging it. <br/><br/>The Rolls and Starters are available in a wide variety and all of them taste great. The rolls which use the Malabar Paratha have a huge amount of delicious filling and are perfectly saucy. My favourites are the Classic Chicken Tikka Roll and Mutton Seekh Adana Roll.<br/><br/>To end my meal I always order their Signature Chocolate Mousse. It is one of the best takeaway desserts I have ever had. <br/><br/>Overall, a fabulous experience. Recommended to all.

I generally use the outlet for takeout via zomato. Packaging is always excellent. I love the taste of the food, always quality. however, for the price feel quantity could be more... Also the number shared on zomato doesn't seem to work. Sometimes it says, number is busy and sometimes number not available...

It was a puff base pizza and I love it<br/>3) Afghani chicken tikka Biryani-5/5 . Biriyani was tasty loaded with boneless chicken. must have this Afghani chicken biryani highly recommended.<br/>4) strawberry souffle-3/5. It was ok ok I don't like it that much but chocolate mousse and salted caramel mousse was awesome must have that .<br/>

‘Tasty Bites’ from charcoal eats reminds me of SHAWARMA with crispy flaten bread and juicy FINGER LICKING sheekh rool stuffing.<br/>Sufficient for single person.<br/>Must try!!

Ordered a exotic square pizza and half tikka biryani<br/>Service was on time but the pizza was not worth it, please read the description properly.<br/>Biryani was good but the quantity of half is not sufficient for even a single person.

Charcoal eats!<br/><br/>They have come up with their new outlet at Thane. We started off with Amritsari chole and paratha. Chole were full of lipsmacking masala and tasted simply wow. Highly recommended!<br/><br/>They have some amazing pizzas on their menu. We tried their exotic pizza. Pizza topped with veggies and goodness of cheese.<br/><br/>We tried Paneer Makhani Biryani. Aromatic Biryani with flavoursome and tender paneer Makhani.<br/><br/>We accompanied out Meal with lemon ice tea which was refreshing and moderately sweet.<br/><br/>We ended our meal with chocolate mousse. Perfect consistency and sweetness.<br/><br/>Overall loved it!

Place is newly opened, with nice Ambience.<br/>But felt a little disappointed by the way the things are served, we ordered Exotica Puff Pizza Square for starter which was serves to us after maine course (base of puff was really overcooked and was has to leave after first bite)<br/>and where we had,<br/>Vegetable Masala Biryani and Paneer Makhani Biryani (biryani was served without curd and raita masala, which on asking was served ) but biryani taste really well, made our day.<br/>Salted Caramel Mousse was tasty.<br/><br/>Need to improve on service, rest they must focus on biryani.

It is a small outlet opened at an upcoming place.<br/><br/>Tried their<br/><br/>👉Peach Ice Tea<br/><br/>👉BBQ loaded fries - which were crispy French fries topped with mayo and BBQ sauce.<br/><br/>👉Chicken Mughlai Paratha - was a sandwiched paratha with lots of chicken pieces in it.<br/><br/>👉Chicken Tikka Biryani - had lots of caramelised onions and big juicy chicken pieces in it.<br/><br/>👉Salted Caramel Mousse - lovely dessert<br/><br/>A peaceful place to hang out.

Tried Afghani chicken biryani and awadhi chicken biryani. The taste is good. Afghani biryani tastes sumptuous. Great packaging. However their pricing is bit too high. Hence 4 stars.
