Review The Waterhouse Deli - Thane

It's a Nice Place for chilling out with friends smoking Sheesha(Hookah) and having some Tasty Food. The Food Quality is also very Good and the prices are also not so high or costly but there is not much to order, the menu is very limited. Though one of the guy there told us that they're going to increase and add many more food items in the menu. So hope there will be a more tastier food items in the menu whenever I visit this place in future. And about the ambience it's not so good during the day time but in the evening it becomes awesome with the lighting. Also there is a very friendly Cat for cat lovers.

Amazing place, the ambience is great, both outdoor and indoor seating is available. You can carry your pets to The Waterhouse Deli, something which other cafe's won't allow. Food is amazing. You could probably get the most amazing momos here. Wide range of Italian dishes to chose from. Great pizzas. The pizzas have a lot of toppings. Many mocktails are available to soothe your thirst. The French fries are cooked in a different way and don't look like the ordinary fries. Great white sauce pasta. The staff is cooperative and the service is also fast. The staff attends to you very quickly. Must visit place.

Some real good vibes in this place. They are one of a kind in the area with open space, waterfall and lots of greenery. One can spend time here eating good Continental food, Hawaiian tiki drinks, watching live music, sports or just reading books. This is the only place that services you all day breakfast and I love the English Breakfast here. They start serving by 8:30am and have late night hunger! If you don't mind dining in open non ac, then this is an ideal place for good breakfast, food and hookah in evening. They are pet friendly and offer basic food for pooches too.

The Waterhouse deli is cafe near R Mall, Ghodbunder Road. The ambiance of this place is pretty nice. They serve tempting food. Service is very nice and is pretty quick. You don’t have to wait for long. Seating arrangement is also very nice. You can visit this place with your family, friends, colleagues and even when you are alone. If you are coming from Majiwada side you will need to take U turn from Manpada circle.

Good place to hang out..issue is cleanliness and mosquitoes...furniture (sofa, chairs) not clean enough..food average, but what enlighten your heart is d ambiance...love d way it is built, added a pinch of coffee shop available in Himachal .. can give it a try

If there's any place that has music with chilled vibes, I would definitely want to visit that! Waterhouse Deli is one such place with ample open seating and live music on some days. They had some valentine special program last year and I decided to take my husband on a special date night over here.<br/>We were a bit early so I got to choose my seat, just the front corner seat to have a good view and uninterrupted chats. The waiter came and lit a candle on our table and thus began our candle light dinner. Ordered their special mocktail for the night, something called blackberry and I just can't forget it's taste. It's not their in the menu tho and was specially made for special evenings. Next, we ordered a starter - chicken wings in BBQ sauce and was yummy too! Quantity was worth a mention.<br/>For main course, we ordered mix herb crusted cheese. I absolutely loved the aroma of herbs in rice and the cottage cheese cube sizes were worth a mention. The amount of food we ordered was more than enuf for 2 people.<br/>The place is 5 star in terms of food, ambience and service. A lil disappointed with the vocalist though.<br/>The place is known for its breakfast spread too and I still have to visit it for that. Yet to find my lazy weekend schedule.<br/>They say - Relax, Relish, Repeat! And the place is just about that vibe.<br/>

Highly not recommended. Very untidy place, crowd is also ok ok and food is worst i have ever tasted. The imagea shown on webasite and compare to reality there is huge huge difference. Not mainted at all. Not good place to go with family or couples also.

Real Disappointment. Reached there at 11am for breakfast but all doors were closed. Had to literally knock on the door and then call the number only then they opened. They didn't have anything that was on the menu .. just said he will get poha and omlette (which I'm sure he was getting from the thela outside). Upon asking why, the waiter just said he was new and doesn't have any clue. We just walked out. Guess this what happens when owners don't personally give attention to their businesses.<br/>

Passed by this place a couple of times and today wanted to go there for breakfast.<br/>On Zomato, it says the restaurant opens at 10am but at 11, the gate was closed, after calling, the guy opens the gate and the reason for the gate being closed was that they don't serve hookah... Weird!!!!<br/><br/>After deciding on what needs to be ordered, the person didn't know what a Chicken Pataka sandwich was so he calls another guy who informs that the cook is not there and they can only serve poha, dosa and Chinese😕 (I don't know how does this come into breakfast). Surprisingly poha or dosa was not a part of the menu also so how do you plan to serve it to me?<br/><br/>Really disappointed 😣

It’s a good place with a open rooftop . Food quality is pretty well maintained ! Sheesha service is pretty well managed . One draw back is that they only play English music all the time ! There is no variety in Hindi and Punjabi music .

First and foremost.....breakfast ordered came at lunchtime! Result : cold omelette, hard toasted bread, half cooked sausages and soggy hashbrown. Only thing that was fresh was "butter" :P<br/><br/>Previously ordered Chicken Cordon Blu....sauce was tasty and only tasty thing because chicken was otherwise rubbery and bland in taste. Herbs could have been used generously to make it exciting.The quantity was good. Chicken lasagne was cheesy and tomatoes were overused to give too much hint of Italian taste<br/><br/>Next time will try some new dish and hope to be have better taste next time, for now the food is not worth the high price. I thought it was an apt brunch place in thane until I visited them this afternoon for a friendships day get together. Since it’s an open place temporarily covered cz of monsoon I will still not complaint about the mosquitoes. <br/><br/>We ordered a veg manchurian along with veg fried rice after taking waiter’s suggestion. After half an hour he came & informed us veg manchurian isn’t their so can I do chilly paneer. We told him why did you realise it after half an hour, to which he said I was busy & chef just told me. (Busy in an empty restaurant) <br/><br/>We ignored & settled ourselves for a veg pizza since we have tried pizzas here before. The veggies on top were stale. And certainly they don’t care about neither food, hygiene, service. Not coming back for sure. This is an apt example of how amazing places are ruined.

I visited this place last month and was shocked to see the state of affairs. The photos provided in the app are in no way accurate. It looks unhygienic and run down. People were smoking hookah at 11am in the morning and I am not even sure this place serves hookah. We decided to leave as soon as we stepped into the place.

I have been here twice for Sunday breakfast/brunch and I love just sitting there in serenity.<br/>I love pets! So of course I find the two cats adorable! And I love the fact that it is pet- friendly. I rarely find pet-friendly place in Thane.<br/>I say go for the food and peace and adorable cats!

I had ordered fish fingers and pizza. Fish fingers were burnt and fish was stale, had smell and good fish fingers are crispy from outside and soft from inside. this fish fingers were really bad. chicken farm house pizza and chicken tikka pizza was good.

We called for a man chow soup and a serving of chicken wings. The soup had no taste and seemed very bland. Man show usually due to garlic ingredient gives a strong taste. However, there was no essence of garlic. Further, the chicken wings ordered had a foul taste since it was not fresh. Feedback shared with the manager resulted in him saying that we haven’t had a complaint of the sort before in last 2 years. Trying to indicate we are wrong. Not going to this place again. It may get shut soon. Hope we could rate them less than 1 star.

Despite of all horrible comments we would wanted to visit this place. But it made us a bit disappointed. They need to maintain the property first of all. During this rainy season trust me it's awful. Staff over there was trying to help but he was confused and didn't have sufficient knowledge about what's there in a particular item. We have ordered very simple Authentic English Breakfast and one Spanish omelette, which was ok. They took a lot of time to deliver. One cat 🐈came there to company us 😥in the upstairs where 3 groups were waiting for there food to come, including us. You have to ask for everything even for fork and spoon.. Moreover the pictures what I had seen prior to our visit from Zomato those made me crazy about this place and we had given it a try. Also pay a bit attention while they serve the food. They missed out one Sausage. When we asked that its printed on the menu later they add one alternative and told us that they didn't have thatpl particular item. But my question is they should inform before na. We didn't find it worth for money. only one Spanish omelette and toast cost 130/- and authentic English Breakfast is 290/-. It could have been much better in this range. I'm sorry to rate u 2*. please improve​ the quality and service and maintain the property.

Terrible food; the salad was a watery goop, vegetables weren’t fresh, the chicken was chewy and some seasoning was added which made everything watery and runny. We ordered Grilled Basa with a side of potato mash...they gave it with a side of rice and a dubious looking yellow sauce which was too thick, too sour, with something (like old butter) floating on top. Won’t touch this place with a barge pole!

Waterhouse is a major dissapointment since it has all ingredients of an amazing resto. Prime location, beautiful ambience, good menu and scrumptious food but let down by poor and rude service. Been here twice and they make you swap tables a lot especially if there is a big group since they have just one big table. They will get ages to refill water, tissue boxes are forever empty, place is dusty and has ants. I went in capacity of zomato Gold member and they mentioned Fish and prawns was not available which is hard to believe on Saturday evening. Staff is forever in Zombie mode and you got to explain everything twice which they should already know at top of their head. Overall pathetic experience after last night no more visits guaranteed from me. Staff are not well aware about zomato gold.<br/><br/>Moving to food, I called for Sloppy Joe Burger, Chicken wings in bbq sauce, Oreo Cookie Shake and peach iced tea.<br/><br/>The burger and the wings were great. The oreo shake that was served initially had nothing but ice and I got it exchanged. The shake that was served later was good. The peach iced tea was average.<br/><br/>All in all a good experience. The minus 1 in rating is only for the service bit. You should visit this place atleast once.

The delivery was late and the wrapping of the burger was not up to the mark and the cockroach inside made it unsafe to consume. Not appetising.

The place is lonely..i mean on a Saturday evening..there were in total 6 human beings and one animal . Two of us and four staff and a cat! I went there thinking they still serve seesha. I asked while entering and it seems that my mind so wanted the seesha badly, in spite the guy saying no, i still heard it as yes. But the point is they don't serve seesha anymore. So no alcohol, no seesha, ok food, which explains why the place is deserted. Only thing that was worthy is reasonable prices .

This outlet is pathetic. I order Chilli garlic noodles and noodles were uncooked. I immediately informed the server so he took the dish back to my surprise he served the same dish again..i guess they must have sauted the noodles further rather than preparing a fresh dish...needless to say there wasnt any change. No body apologized even after sharing the feedback...must be a common complaint for them.. My suggestions to the readers...dont go by looks or ambience...basic food is not good.

I ordered one lasagna from here and it was the worst in terms of taste and delivery as the food came cold. I don't know about seating there but delivery failed to satisfy me. :(

The experience was not upto the expectations. Food and ambience was ok! Service was slow! The place seemed empty and many dishes written in the menu were not available! Still the staff was polite and co-operative! The prices were also on the higher side! The overall experience just didn't meet the expectations.<br/>

the place looks amazing and since we went during the day we couldn't enjoy it. we ordered chicken nachos and they were not as good as we expected. The garlic bread was really good. we ordered mojito which was refreshing and chocolate mud pie which basically tasted like cold coffee.<br/><br/>it's an expensive place so just look out for it otherwise overall it was a good experience.

It’s a good outdoor based restaurant and is pet-friendly. For all the pet lovers, it is worth it. The ambience is cosy and friendly. The food is quite good and aromatic. Though preferably one should go with continental menu.

Had been to this place on a weekday afternoon for a quick snack and a juice as we wanted to escape the sun's heat. As we had checked places on zomato and the place looked promising. Although when we reached there , it kind appeared as if it's shut down, with the dusty chairs, tables , couches with black spots on it which disappointed us. The place pretty empty with only one other table occupied. So we inquired if there is a AC seating area, which they dint so we decided to just have quick snack. The water house deli had no water around as appears in the pictures. We ordered a sandwich and a burger which were just average. The fries with the sandwich tasted like they were out from a packaged food. All in all did not find the place any great, will definitely not be visiting again.

We made a spontaneous plan to go here after looking at the pictures on Zomato and it wasn't even a little like that rather the place seems to be a mess. The seatings are unclean, they got fans which is alrite. Food wasn't good plus it is way too costly. Even a simple juice can cost 170 buck. Overall I don't think I would like to go back.<br/>

The place was empty and is a shadow of the place that it looks like in some of the pics here.<br/>Tried the Authentic English breakfast and the Chicken Manchurian which was good. The coolers and the frappes tasted really good.<br/>Most of the items that we tried ordering were unavailable which was very disappointing.<br/><br/>The staff was courteous and helpful though.<br/>

Visited the place in a Sunday afternoon.. I have had the sloppy Joe burger here countless times! after having so many other things from the menu, sloppy Joe for me is the undisputed favourite. have it with the Oreo shake and you're one happy human. the only problem would be the mosquitoes that trouble your heaven during the twilight time.

Food- I give the food 4.5 stars. The food is really really yummy. We ordered paneer chilly for starters and it was well cooked and really nice. For main course we ordered pink sauce penne pasta and schezwan noodles. Both tasted nice. But the best was the pasta. It is also a pet friendly zone. But I feel there should be a particular smoking area for smokers. We had people beside our table who were constantly smoking and it was very annoying. We reached the restaurant by 12.00 which is almost half an hour past the opening time and there was only one person who was writing the orders and preparing them as well. They need to hire more people to work. I would give 1 star for the service. <br/><br/>Cleanliness- Since it has outdoor seating I expected dust and insects and I was correct. I recommend people to get their own cloth to dust away the seats and tables and then sit on them. Since I have already mentioned there is only one person for everything so he doesnt clean every table before opening the restaurant. Even the seat cushions and seats were all very dirty. Saw the picture of the place on zomato and thought of visiting this place but it was nothing like that at all! There was no water in waterhouse deli as in if drought took place, the experience was complete disaster even the mattresses weren’t cleaned keeping that aside the things to talk about here is food. Spaghetti pasta, farmhouse pizza was good. The chicken steak was stored for a long time in freezer and wasn’t even defrost i guess had to get a knife to literally cut it down to pieces it was that hard. Veg lasagne was a really bad choice wont recommend it to anyone visiting here. Juices (pink lady, ice tea) are overpriced. All thanks to dineout india had 50% discount on food 😅😅 The only advice I’ll like to give to the waterhouse team is the place they got it really something, make the most of it. Good luck :)

Visited this place on Thursday night at around 8 pm. It was quite empty except 2 couples seated on separate tables. We had the freedom to choose a good seat for us as it was not crowded at all. But very disappointed as we were getting foul smell at the place after a while. We dint smell anything initially as they had lighted a mosquito coil but as soon as it faded away, we started experiencing various kind of bad odour. Also, there were two cats roaming around our table which was making me a bit uncomfortable.<br/>However, the ambience is pretty decent and spacious. I liked the lighting of this place as it reminded me of a famous place in GOA - Tin Tin restaurant. <br/>There was no music playing, it was quiet, not sure what happens over weekend.<br/>The staff is very friendly and helpful. They suggested us good drinks and food.<br/>We had ordered Chicken lemon garlic, Orange cooler & Penne pasta in Ariabata sauce with Chicken. All the food items were good in taste. So went to this place which we found over hyped.. First of all the ambience is not at all how it looks in the zomato pictures.. it's either under renovation or whatever .. But it's complete waste of so much space which is available.. Could be improved a thousand times with minor modification. Plus there were a lot of mosquitoes to add on it.. The mocktail which wasn't on the menu but was recommended to us was like milkshake with fruit pulp.. and lastly the chef special paneer steak with pepper sauce had no pepper at all. .. we had ordered for less spicy but it was totally sweet.. also the herb rice had excessive oregano which made it bitter.. All an all it was a pretty bad experience...

Doesnt show a good asthetic feel...ambience not as expected...not well maintained never go for this resturant atleast what look and feel we got from this resturant

The Stroganoff dish was good, but it is completely different from what an actual Stroganoff dish is, which is usually based in a butter-based white sauce. Could you please verify the same?

This place is The Bomb in Thane! Love the interiors, love the food, love the in-house cat 🐈 Chicken Lasagna, pork platter and cheesecake are must try.

Very disappointing!! Looks like the place is about to close down soon. They hav such a nice location but sadly not maintained it.. There's dust everywhere.. One of the good place to hangout, I liked their ambience and interiors. Quite colorful and vibrant<br/><br/>They have different sitting arrangements, and even have place upstairs.<br/><br/>I liked everything in Food that we had and was suggested by them.<br/><br/>We ordered - <br/><br/>1. Paneer steak with herb rice<br/>Paneer marinated in mixed herbs and grilled, served with herb rice and pepper sauce, garnished with fresh corainder.<br/>2. Along with this is Oreo cookie shake (in the left) prepared with chocolate and Oreo cookie, also topped with some more Oreo chunks and <br/><br/>3. Very very Berry (in the Right) is prepared with crushed ice and lots of berries and some mint leaves on the top<br/><br/>4. Paneer Tikka mint mayo wrap<br/><br/>Wrap made with Indian flavours stuffed with paneer Tikka, mint mayo served with some french fries and mayo salad.

I had visited this place mid of 2016 and I was in love with the food...fast forward to Jan of 2018 the food quality has gone down drastically. We decided on ordering fish and chips which was not available so we decided to order fish fingers with tartar sauce. The fish fingers had a weird smell...they were super bland. I highly doubt if they were fresh...seemed frozen fish fingers also they did not serve "tartar" sauce but some orange sauce..when asked about the same I was told that it in fact was tartare sauce....tartare sauce is usually white with gherkins or a pickled diced veg added to it!The second dish we had ordered was chicken cordon bleu..seemed decent but not at all as good as they used to make it two years back.All and all go if you have too!Leeraa Shah

Service is extreme slow, menu is so confusing and also not so great. Sheesha was pathetic, they use some cheap flavors for sure. Though the guys changed it twice for us but somehow the flavors were too different and not good at all. Need to do load of work on their service. Looked like their chef was taking order, did not have enough staff. Took half an hour to serve water.

American visiting India, and I ordered take out from WaterHouse Deli, and it was great! The Mediterranean Chicken salad was a wonderful meal. I added some crackers and loved it. Thanks for the healthy food choice.

Food was ok-good.. fish fingers i assumed would be really good but they turned out to be cold-cuts.. Cordon bleu was good.. and Hookah was great too!

First of all the actual ambience is way different and less spaced out from what is perceived from the pics.<br/>They have tried their best to maximize the seating space leaning more towards being a little haphazard.<br/>The seating... Hukkah smoking crowd.. kind of killed our excitement and thus we ended up having limited food and cocktails. Cocktails were typical (sweetish with flavours not blending that well) nothing extraordinary .. and we can't rightfully comment on the food. 0.5 point extra for the band which was performing that time.

My husband and I love breakfasts. We found The Waterhouse Deli serving delicious food and a place that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. The Authentic English Breakfast is our staple order here. The juices are also freshly made. The open seating and the ambience is simply great. Must visit if you are around.

The ambience of this place is very cool,its an open cafe with waterbodies.As it was afternoon the place was not at all crowded.Coming to food we ordered mushroom chilly,cheesy french fries(actually i forgot its original name but it had lots of cheese in it hence this name ;)) and chicken steak with apple soda.The food was very tasty and with very good quantity.The only thing they can improve is their menu,it has very little options in menu.Otherwise the place is good especially to chill out with your friends.

The photos appeared too hyped up for this place. Most of the items weren't available. We ordered a 4 cheese pizza and grilled basa. The fish was not at all good. The pizza was okaish. There tamarind spice drink was different and refreshing. The Mongolian BBQ Satay was alright. Not a pricey affair. Friendly staff.

Amazing food and an even better ambience. The chicken steak with herb rice swept me off my feet and left me drooling for more... And for the first time I liked salad too!

The place is not at all the same as it looks in the picture. I had ordered coffee and it wasn’t good at all ! Would not suggest this place..

The deli has a lovely summer setting, is pet friendly and servers quite delicious food (in considerable portions) but a few things need a bit of work.<br/><br/>The card is a long one but the moment you start ordering you realise that most dishes on the entrée aren't available.. and the choices diminish tremendously. This needs to be addressed for the primary function of a restaurant is to serve food.<br/><br/>The ambience is quite lovely as aforementioned this said the place seems (or at least seemed) a bit dirty and under prepared. This could be fixed and spruced up!<br/><br/>All in all TWD is a good place to lounge in with a group of good friends with chilled beers or iced teas for company.. the staff is friendly.. your pet is sure to be made comfortable and served a lovely meal too (which isn't complimentary BTW 😀 in case you were wondering)!

Food is okaish. Not worth compared to the price. Service is really slow. Ambience is not so great. Would look really nice if maintained properly. The only good thing about this place is that it is pet friendly.

I had a very bad experience at this place. The staff was inexperienced and unpleasantly persuasive. Even on a friday night many things were unavailable. The food is really amateur. The veg lasagna's base was not properly cooked. Even the lemon iced tea was bad.

Nice ambience. Me and my friends went there and the experience was amazing. <br/>It seating was comfortable and it is half open from above, it's beautiful to see the sky. We even found a cat there..<br/>The service was friendly and polite. And the food was pretty nice. Overall atmosphere was good and we enjoyed a lot :)
