I must say I was shocked by the attention an the service at the place. There's no rule that only 1 person who should serve the table. Anyone who you call is eager and happy to serve as well. Food was really relishing of what I ate. I've become a fan of the place, especially for customer handling.

This restaurant is one of the oldest in Thane City and has stood by its taste through more than 2 and half decades. One of the crowded bars in the city over the weekends. Food is absolutely mind blowing and impressively pocket friendly. The staff working here is very old with the place and have grown up along with the restaurant. Very limited parking space available. Restaurant is wheelchair accessible. A swanky family section opened 2 years back is quite spacious and Air conditioned. Must try their seafood as well as all the Tandoor dishes on the Menu. Home delivery also available.

Well mannered staff. Customer friendly. Now they have opened two AC facilities one for family and one for watching match. Food quality is awesome. Only authentic place in Thane for Agri koli food. Fish quality is superb. Chicken dishes also great. Ignore the negative reviews of pre renovation period as they have completely revamped the hotel and staff.

This restaurant has the best pomfret tandoori I have ever had. HANDS DOWN !!! its a very good place to just relax with friends or even with your family .

The food is good for non veg lovers and if you are malvani food lover then this is the right place for you. The service is quick and quality of chicken and fish is fresh. The location is bit of problem.

Been to this place with my father and grandfather. We had tandoori teetar it was ok. Mutton biryani was disappointing. Surmai was also average.

This is a nice dhaba outing. Taste is very good. I ordered crab masala and customised the masala which was really done well by the chef.<br/>USP: Display of crabs and fish thus giving us exposure to choose our food.

The place is mediocre but the ambience is not everyone's cup of tea. We ordered boiled eggs, chicken chilli and a triple schezwan rice. The food was delicious and the staff was prompt while providing the service. Overall, you will get food at a cheaper price while compromising on the ambiance.

Sorry cant be polite. A piece of human nail is what i got in my gravy (parcel). Horrible and family area was dingy with mosquitoes. Poor quality of service though fast.

We had ordered butter chicken with roti ,it tasted just fine it could have been better the overall ambience and presentation style was nice because it managed to overshadow the taste of the food.

The chicken handi served here is one of the best dishes available on the menu.<br/>Though the restaurant hasnt changed much since last 10 years... But it still remains the best when it comes to serve tasty food.

There was no option as all the restaurants were closed on the festival day, so we went on to explore this place just next to Nitin Company junction. Good that they have family section separated at the top. The food was okay but the service was terribly slow. Some of the non veg items were good like mutton Masala, prawns but the tripple shezwan fried rice was not up to the mark.<br/>Tandoori was good and with a good quantity not the rice portions were small.<br/>The place could be improved with some renovation and food quality can be bettered.<br/>Overall 2/5...

Restaurant has become worst.. They gave very bad service waiters are very arrogant... they though they r the owner of Hotel.. we ordered prawns tawa fry they said that 10 pieses of prawns will come n they serve only 6 pieses and the worst thing is they charged for szechuan sause and they gave very small quantity of sause they charged 60 INR this is a big disappointment we get...they charged extra so plz check ur bill properly...

Seriously one of friend insisted to have food over here. The worst food ever I can say. Chicken crispy is crispy it's softy. Chana koliwada was like crap. More over the waiter was too much arrogant to take orders for main course. Bhangaar food I must say in typical words.

I have been here with my friends on couple of occasions. I have been to the air conditioned section. The ambience is pretty good. The service men are polite however needs polishing on their serving manners. <br/><br/>Coming to the food , on all occasions I have tried the Tandoori Lollipop which is a hoot and a half. Any delicacy related to tandoori is a total paisa vasool. <br/><br/>Last time I tried the Prawn Biryani and Kolambi Rice which were a delight!!!!! <br/><br/>Do hit this place if u r a big tandoori fan. <br/>Cheers !!!!!!

Darya Sagar has been an old favorite for a boys hangout.cant say u can take family there considering the seating and crowd it attracts. Total VFM for sea food, especially the crisp Bombil fry. The mutton, tittar amd chicken handi along with bhakris give an rustic maharashtrian feel and are really good.

This is a watering joint where you find all kinds of men. Middle aged office returning men , business class , bachelors , show offs , ruffians , hooligans , college going boys and saints also. All who come here come with one purpose to drink and forget. This is one place where if you look around and observe you learn more about life . Coming to the food , Food is good , quantity is excellent . Prices are reasonable. Cheers . Let's party and get drunk. Warning : Fights take place and things get heated with spirits running high. Went there on a recommendation of a colleague. When you enter it would remind you of a quarter bar exclusive for men... The family AC room is on the first floor. Quality of food is ok... Not great... Think the chicken dishes are better than the sea food items.... Its a very average restaurant... Dont go with very high expectations.

Visited this place today for a quick lunch! Its always been my favourite! I ordered the traditional prawns kohliwada along with fish tawa as starters! I also opted for the chickn handi and tandoori roti! The food as always was very delicious! They surely justify their name as the sea food is amazing! Must visit!

Have visited this place a couple of times with friends... Speciality of this place is its non-veg food (Chicken/Mutton) that too aagri/gavthi style accompanied by fresh hot Bhakris... The service and ambience is average.. Alcohol is fairly priced. Crowd here mostly consists of people back from work and groups of friends catching up with cheap booze, very little place for a family section. Be prepared to wait during evenings and weekends.

Though the ambience of this place will not please all but this place serves the best food. You want it spicy you get spicy, you want it less spicy you get less spicy. In short you get what you ask for. They have also introduced the AC rooms which is a relief for families, because it is mainly known for its bar. Food here will keep you licking your fingers!

Went here yesternight with a few buddies for a drink and a meal...must remind people that this place has been around for more than 25 years..And it has improved in terms of quality of food...however the crowd here is not exactly gentlemanesque...the service is okayish...with outdoor seating this place has an okayish ambience...good for guys to have a drink on month ends...won't recommend any females though

Nice place to have alcohol with friends in comparative cheap rates. But the food quality and quantity is awesome. Its exactly the replica of gokul bar of CST in thane but with more quantity of food.

'The' place to be if you are a real foodie! <br/>Regional preparations, particularly Aagri non-veg & Veg too; 15 yrs and the taste has been consistent. Am yet to find an alternative (taste, price, quantity). <br/>Price wise, drinks & food, they are pretty fair almost to the extent of being cheaper comparatively to other restaurants at par.<br/>Finally, definitely not a family place!

This place shouts 'come only for cheap alcohol'. It is has been running since many years and i guess has been the favourite of the middle aged men because i didnt find anyone else here. Though there is a seperate family section I would recommend you to go visit it with your family only if all other places are shut down and there is nothing to eat at home. In short avoid! Food is mediocre but can fill your stomach nevertheless. If you are out of cash and still want to hit a place to drink- like most of the youngsters do. This is a place to be. Alcohol is much cheaper than jugheads or poptates or places like these. You might wanna try some starters to go with it. Washrooms are filthy and need to be better. But maybe thats the last thing on the owner's mind. It is just a place to get high while keeping your wallet happy and you caring a damn about the ambience. Catching up with friends with this same attitude is preferable. One drawback is that is not really female friendly. You never know when a fight might just start at the table next to you enlighting your hindi and marathi vocabulary. If you know what i mean;-)

A good place for takeaway. my regular has been surmai masala dry, prawns masala, fish tandoor, rice bhakri's. if u are looking out for a inexpensive, taste buds tingling sea food then this is the place. The ambience is not that great and the owners are also not concerned on improving the look and feel of the place. however i have not seen one day that the place is empty .. most of the times i see a huge waiting. if u r ready to compromise on the looks and hygiene of the place to enjoy good food then u have landed at the right joint.

This place is Gokul (CST) of Thane. :D fair priced food at cheapest priced alcohol. :P Food is edible enough to consume including veg and non veg with massive quantity of it. What else you want with a couple of beers? dishes have been tried so far chicken crispy, paneer shashlik and some more chicken crispy. Don't try the standard chakli and schezwan sauce here as the schezwan sauce have very strong flavour of garlic and vinegar may burn your tongue. The ambiance and the wash room definitely needs improvement but the management seems to be least concerned about it as no one bothers to raise the question for the need of it. overall cheap alcohol, good food and some moments with your friends that is all you want on a lousy evening. And strictly avoid drinking water here. Buy a mineral water bottle or carry your own.
