This place used to be bigger however downsized during COVID. the restraunt is under renovation but is still open for business The service does take time, but it's because everything is made fresh just before serving...you can make out from when you break into the fish or the meat that its fresh Loved the food...loved the price point. Loved the courtesy of the staff 2 n.veg thalis + 1 chicken gravy and 1 prawns dusk came to ~rs 1200 This place is located just at the end of bramhand . You might not get parking space nearby so either park on the 2 wider approach roads and take a 2 min walk here

It's a restaurant you wouldn't miss if your craving is for seafood. The proportions are good and their recipe and taste is fantastic. Even the bhakari is soft and fresh. The Solkadi is a great appetizer and too good. All preparations were fresh so you need to preorder or have the patience to wait till your menu is ready to be served. Albeit towards the higher side but so is their quality. The staff and the owner are humble and give you personal attention. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing food!!!! We tried different Thali’s (Fish Thali, Chicken Thali, Vegetarian Thali) They have different options in Chicken Thali whether you want dry chicken(sukha), Gravy (rassa). Service was nice. we ordered well in advance for this meal to have it when we reach the destination. Ambience was Okay!!! Food quality and quantity was impressive. You can get parking space as well if you go for lunch purpose. At the end they provided an ice cream(Cotton Candy flavoured) which was yummy!!!! A complete meal with a decent price!! Its nice to go out with friends and family. Overall it was a nice experience at Swaad Gharcha.

Go and enjoy the food. If you are in and around Thane west near Hiranandani estate, Kolshet, Ghodbunder area then do try Swad Gharcha restaurant food. The food is tasty and similar to "Gharcha Swad ~ Your home food". We ordered Thaali's. All chicken, fish dishes were fresh, hot and delicious. Coconut Fish Curry had kokum too. Food here will satisfy everyone's taste buds in your family. Must visit.

Swad Gharcha ❤️ I visited this Seafood Restaurant in the Hiranandani Estate area of Thane and I can't surely say that this a Hidden Gem. We simply loved the Seafood especially the Surmai Fish Thali. One of the most delicious Thalis I have had in a very long time. We also loved Halwa Fry, Bombil Fry, Teesrya Masala with Malvani Vade. They gave these cute little Ice Cream Bites after our Lunch and also they serve Kulfis. I loved the Strawberry Kulfi. I simply cannot wait to go back to this Restaurant for delicious Seafood.

Good food, good ambience, good people... The restaurant is true to it's name.. the food tastes like it's home made... We were a group of 10 and tried the below : Crab lollipops, Prawns fry, Bombil fry, Mutton rassa, Chicken sukha, Prawns rassa, Rice Bhakri, Plain rice, Sol kadi, Veg thali, Dal khichadi... All of the them were great... I would personally recommend the chicken sukha thali, praws fry and the crab lollipops as a must try... Surprisingly the light music that was being played in the background was really great.. the owner seems to have a good choice of songs 😃 If I have to nitpick.. then I guess only thing I felt was the price was a little bit on the higher side from what I had expected.. was surprised to know the thali serves just one single Bhakri (n then rice).. so everyone of us had to buy extra Bhakris.... But then the overall experience makes me easily forget the price and visit this place again 😃

The decor is very soothing to the eye and makes the good food all the more enjoyable. We ordered, 1)Chicken sukkha Thali..8.5/10 The chicken was an onion based dry gravy with a sweetish tinge of a flavour to it. The accompaniments were Egg gravy, Chicken curry( no pieces) and refreshing Solkadhi. 2) Bombil Fry...10/10 Crispy fried Bombil. Nibble away!

I've tried their Bombil Fry (usually order 2 places 😉) their soft and crispy just the way my mom prepares them - 5/5. Surmai Fry - Fresh, cooked with perfection. 4/5 Dal Khichdi - When I'm sick this is definitely on my list and specially with the bombil fry is doesnt make me feel like a patient. Fried fish quantity is ok but the portion size 3/5 of the dal khichdi is less. Service and Ambience is good - 4/5. Whenever I've ordered the fish is fresh and if your a fish lover should definitely try this place. Thought I always done a home delivery but would love to visit this place soon. The feeling of home cooked food - Swad Garcha it is !

Been to this place about 4-5 times now. The ambience is average, comfortable. Service is decent. Keep in mind that this is not a professional chain of restaurants. It’s managed by regular folks who are very good at making delicious food. Have had prawns thali, egg curry & rice, dal khichadi & chicken thali. All the dishes were well made & tasty. Must point out here that the quantity of prawns in the prawns thali was less. Otherwise a good place for a decent meal. With Corporates offices coming up in the vicinity & an upcoming college, Swad Gharcha will certainly have more customers.

Ordered for the first time from Swad Gharcha. To be on the safer side, I ordered just one Prawn Biryani. First impressions- the biryani was accompanied by 4 additional pouches containing onions, kachumbar, chaach and a killer side dish of small sized shrimps. The Biryani had 8 pcs of Prawns and that too of decent medium size. The taste was awesome. The shrimp accompaniement was amazing in taste. I felt a little let down on the quantity of rice though. Otherwise, everything was well liked by my daughter who ate away the last morsel.

Since our first rating and review , this place has changed drastically. Met the couple behind the venture who have kept their focus and grown substantially since then . Goodluck and keep up the momentum. The waiting period has improved. The food quality is very homely and fresh. We had ordered a fish thali , chicken sukha and egg curry. Loved the size of surmai. Main course we had Paplet Thali, Bangada(black paplet) Thali, Surmai Thali which was really good.
