The Penne Al Fungi (veg pasta) - Overall it's nice. Mushrooms quantity is quite less. Garlic bread position is tiny.
The Hawaiian Salad (veg) - could have added more herbs and or given a chilly flack packet. Overall it's good.
The Moon Burger (veg) - This is my personal favorite. The size of the patty is thick, and the taste is delicious. They could have added more slices of onions though.

I got a pink pasta...its supposed to be a mix of arrabiata and cheesy alfredo sauce, if I am not wrong...it was a decent preparation...the cheese garlic bread was a bit different though not extraordinarily outstanding...Also it seems a bit expensive for the quantity...nevertheless I would still rate a 4 for not spoiling the taste of genuine Italian pasta at least which happens so often :) :)
I was craving for some Indian food after a late night show, so I started searching for all the available options at 3:00 AM in the night. That’s when I came across this small place serving a wide variety of cuisines.
I called them up and straight away made my way to the outlet with my friend. We ordered a Butter Chicken and two plain Naans. The Butter Chicken tasted fabulous. It is one of the best I have ever had.
The Naans were also nicely done. They had the right amount of crispyness.
I am definitely going back here or will order online whenever I crave for butter chicken. Also, night out scenes sorted.

On my recent visit to Thane one of my friend suggested me Coco and Basil. The place is not very impressive from outside but once I entered the place its really nice. Coco & Basil is located in Hyde park, just bang opposite of Hiranandani Meadows. The place is a small joint and perfect place to hangout or take your friend out for a lunch or snacks.
Atmosphere/Decor :
As you enter this place you can see wonderful graphics and painting. It has a very soothing ambiance. Though it’s a small cafe but the food here is wondrous. They play good music which goes well with the food and ambience.
The Menu/Dishes
The menu offers a wide range of mouth watering starters, drinks, main course and dessert item. Must say they specialized in Italian cuisine and seafood, and now the menu has been expanded so you will have more choices.
Here are the few items we tried and we loved it and we recommend.
Sex on the beach & Cinderella :
I have tried these two because I know the taste already. Sex on the beach was not that good but I like the taste of Cinderella . The color is really as magical as the taste. Mocktails🍹were 3/5 for me 😘👌
Next we tried Grandmamas lasagna and Spaghetti with Mama Rossa. Spaghetti & Lasagna were served with garlic Bread which was crispy from the sides and soft in the middle topped with a thick sheet of chicken in red sauce & cheese we absolutely relished it.
Mac and Cheese Pasta:
A perfectly cooked macaroni pasta was mixed in white cheese sauce with herbs. The taste of the herbs was just delectable, left a great aftertaste.
Veg Supreme Pizza and Butter chicken pizza:
They have a wide range of pizzas and side dishes.
The veg pizza and butter chicken pizza with Indian butter chicken topping and cheese on top makes a perfect combination which I loved . The taste of above items were delicious and quantity was good for two .
Service:
The service is very good here..they are very warm and welcoming. They also help you with recommending food from the menu. The service was just mind blowing. The service makes you feel really comfortable.

Coco nd basil is the place for food lovers. I Had candle light dinner with my husband. interesting menu, wonderful meal that was perfectly served. We especially enjoyed the special drinks. We would like to visit here again.

This place is a perfect place for midnight craving as this place serves decent variety of food till midnight ! We went there at 1am and ordered Burger Kebabs and we wer happy to know that everything was available at that time as well. This small cafe is a little diffucult to find in the confusing lanes of manpada area. But once to reach there it's a treasure of Awesomeness. From new and innovative beverages to huge menu of Italian food, this cafe has it all.

A very good place with vast variety of options to select from. A cozy place with a good feel and decent ambience and most importantly some amazing delicacies. I loved the chicken tandoori, it was something different from the traditional one that we have at multiple places. No food coloring used which was the best part and it was highly delish. Mocktails are at par, can be done better but still decent enough. We also had the chicken biryani and a main course chicken gravy which was too good. They are into delivery as well and for the people who are short of options during night time can order from this place as they are open till 4am in the morning.

The ambience of the place is quite appealing with lovely paintings on the wall . The most interesting thing is that they have a button besides each table to order so you don’t have to go down constantly for ordering - this shows their efforts to improve customer satisfaction . You can also play some board and card games until your order arrives .Decided to have a quick bite and ordered a Mac masala pasta 🍝.

I was craving for a nice smoothie late in the night at around 1.30 am and the only place open in my vicinity during the wee hours is coco and basil. Even at this hour of the day my friend and me were greeted pleasantly. They have a wide range of drinks and it's a decent place to chill with your gang. Didn't try the food dishes, but will visit again to try some delicacies.
Its a small and sweet place located in Manpada Road , Thane. The Ground floor compromises of the kitchen and the first floor is the diner. Starting with the ambiance its a try hard; could've been a lot better actually. The lighting's and games are sweet at best! The chairs are actually quite small but comfortable. Let's get down to food and service. As I m a vegan I had

The food was quite frankly very good. The Momo's, koftas were very well prepared. Definitely a go ahead for spicy food lovers! The gulab jamun was a bit stiff but had a lot of stuffings!

A very amazing place if you want to order takeout dinner! They're open till 3am so definitely a place to satisfy your midnight cravings :D

Tried fried chicken burger.To be very honest I was disappointed with the chicken portion inside but the overall burger was surprisingly good.The combination of cheese,honey mustard sauce, tomato ,lettuce and fried chicken fillet made it a pretty good burger.
Recently visited this place with my friends and found out to be really good! This place is bit small tho. They have decorated the place really very well. The only problem I found was the service is really very slow. Now coming to the food

My first Invite for food tasting.
They started a new Indo-Turkish menu which to say isnt bad at all! Potential to be a big hit.
The place is ambient enough for a small place situated amongst such competition for the likes of Howrah, Twisties, Cafe Amigos.
A little bit improvement and sure Coco N Basil can stand out.

Chicken Tandoori Tikka (Boneless) -
Unevenly cooked, some of the pieces were cooked properly, while some were raw, rubber to chew.
Reshmi Tikka Tandoor Momos -
Aha! Heavenly outer covering for those momos, ( i don't at all like momos) and i two of them. Big plus for them.
Prawns Koliwada -
Fried deep and had a good taste, but the overall taste could be improved a lot.
Doner Kebab -
A turkish dish resembling the shwarma, had a unique taste but had a very few amount of chicken in it which should be changed. But it is a dish one should try.
Adana Kebab -
Tasted like Sheekh Kebab, proper juicy kebabs, with rice as a side to it or maybe vice versa. It was vice-versa definitely.
Chutney to taste.

Oreo Shake -
The one thing which i tried and wouldnt want to suggest it to anyone. Not thick, less amount of oreo mixed.
They should definitely improve this.
Fruits Smoothie -
A lot better than the Oreo shake.

We tried cottage cheese indiano panini in which panini was stuffed with cottage cheese, mayo, onion, capsicum which wasn't so good.
Then we tried oreo crunch, mango basil smoothie. Smoothie was refreshing and tasty.
Overall my experience with this outlet is okayish.
This tiny tiny restaurant has some neat gastronomic tricks up its sleeves. I haven't seen a less minimally decorated place than this. It has room for barely 6 tables. Furniture is nothing to speak about. But Coco N Basil stirs up really delicious food. They have a good spread of American, Italian dishes. I had butter chicken pizza and cheese fries and boy was that delicious!! Pizza was heavenly, fresh tender chicken. Even capsicum had just the right amount of crunch and its flavour was intact. Cheese fries was a unique item. Regular French fries was garnished with parsley and had a generous amount of creamy cheese. Finger licking goodness. Service was fast since we had the whole place for ourselves. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Bill was something around 520 but we received 20% discount with a coupon from BookMyShow. This is really a great food joint and I will come back again for sure.

Been here quite a few times n I must say it is one the places wre u can actually chill and have a good good time... Love the seating arrangement the one which is inside and even the outside one.. Inside u can have a nice time with your frnds or your loved one, they have candles which gives a very warm cozy vibe
Ok so coming to the food the first thing I had here was the potato wedges which are good crispy and are in moderate quantity... I recommend the coffee here which is not expensive yet good in taste...
I even had the BBQ fries which I did not like tbh..

The place is small with a very cute ambience.We ordered the thunderbolt and the mojito for mocktails which was just too good.We ordered the Adana kebab which was served with a masala rice and also the malai bbq kebabs.The green chutney served with this was just too yum.This place serves prawn pickle too it was just the traditional Malvani style.If you like spicy food you should try the murg istooh which was garnished with fresh ginger.

I would call it a hidden gem at Manpada as its not visible from road and little on the inside of building. Also, because its pocket friendly compared to other places nearby. Decor is simple, space is bit cramped up. But the food!! Exceptionally good burger and pasta. American fish fingers were also lip smacking. Tried the seasonal mango milkshake which was heavenly. Excellent food. We ordered mozarella fritters which was good but what we liked best is the Al Pesto pasta which was awesome. And very pocket friendly.
On a Friday night this place is just behind Cafe Amigos, theres a small lane adjacent to it. It's a small restaurant with 10 to 12 seating capacity.
We ordered Santa De Poluet - grilled chicken With black pepper sauce with grilled veggies and herb rice. It was really good as it also had cranberry juice topped over it. The taste was sweet and spicy.
Chicken Cordon Blue - chicken breast grilled and stuffed with mozzarella with grilled veggies and herb rice. The taste was good.
Pink pasta - combination of red and white sauce was good and so creamy.
Definitely coming again.

After reading the zomato reviews, yesterday, my husband & I decided to visit Coco & Basil, despite the warnings about slow service.
The food was par excellence, prepared painstakingly, with love & passion. I would say, top notch presentation, merged with superior quality of fresh ingredients and terrific tasting food.
Food-wise, this cafe is at par with any of the high-end cafes in South Bombay, Marine Drive & Fort area, that too, without costing a bomb!
The current slow service & waiting time is a very small price to pay, for getting such high-quality food in Thane!
We ordered the Hawaiian Burger, the Tarter (Fish) Burger and Fisherman's catch for the main course. Each food item was a feast for the eyes and a pleasure for the tastebuds! Chef Prasad truly needs to be commended for his skills and dedication to his work.
In fact, the food was so good, that today again we are going there for trying their yummy beverages, pizzas and pastas!

I have visitied this place for the second time and both the times i was totally impressed with their food taste and preparation so today we had cheese nachos, Chicken Al Pesto pasta and a silk white milkshake.
So talking about thier nachos its a must try, thier salsa sauce garnish is to die for apart from the salsa sauce they also add melted cheese sauce making it more interesting on the taste buds.
Now coming towards the Chicken Al pesto pasta...to be frank i am not a huge fan of pesto pasta but thier pasta impressed me it had the right blend of herbs making it more tasteful and scrumptious...and finally their silk white milkshake its a normal blend of vanila flavour icecream yet making the taste divine....

So two of us ended up here on a sunday evening and ordered Texas burger, The penne Al fungi pasta and an Oreo crunch. The food was delicious and service was quick too. It charged us only 447 bucks which brings it to a quite reasonable price.

Really good preparations for what it's worth. They've salads, pastas, pizzas, burgers, wiches etc. Nice small place with quick service and friendly staff. We tried Hawaiian salad, veg burger, pasta, sandwiches, soupy maggi. All tasted up to the mark. Really happy to find a place near this location as they know how to make food better.

Ordered a Hawaiian burger and Indiana Jones chicken. The burger was exquisite considering the price and the chicken was good, though a bit tangy. But the overall experience was good. Definetly worth a try.

Nice calm eat out and hang out in Thane. The tables are little small. But you cam ignore that for the quality of food served here.
This is probably the best in Thane for Italian cuisine. I have tried several restaurants but nothing comes closer to this when it comes to taste as well service. The pasta, pizza & salads are amazing with value for money. The quality & quantity both are decent.
