Prashant is famous for it's chaat and sweets. Absolutely love the taste, quantity and quality of chaat they have ! Worth the money! My go to place to satisfy chaat cravings!! My favorite dishes there are Sevpuri, Dahi Batata Puri and Jalebi.
Sreeram Sreenivasan
Wonderful food and staff. We bought Kothimbir vadi, Onion samosa, Dhokla, American roll, and Diamond cake sweet for guests. They all loved it. Keep it up.
Priyanjali Joardar
Finally found a place here that serves Lipsmacking chat! Loved the dahi papdi chaat that we had, was so good! Looking forward to try other chaat items.
laxmikant baraskar
Good quality sweets with multiple options. In years, taste and quality has not changed at all. Though cost is high. Further chat and other food is also delicious.

MUST VISIT Best for chats like pani puri , sev puri etc .. Try there chole tikki its best . The main thing about this place is quality for the food .. Even its best for sweets right from the packing and the taste .
Sneha Harsora
A popular fast food and sweets center in Thane. It has got quite a few outlets in Thane. They serve all kinds of snacks, sweets, fast food and other eateries. They also take party orders.

Prashant continues to delight it's customers with its variety and range of Indian sweets. The temptation to stop your car when you are in its vicinity overcomes your resolve and you end up tasting and adding to your cart. They are excellent in their content and packaging. Really classy!

One of my favourite shops. Sweets are too good. The staff is very cooperative. Give customers new dishes for taste. A hygienic place to buy sweets and all other good stuff.
Onkar
The best place for cold bundi Pani puris. Shevpuri is also great, didn't like Dahi puri or other dahi chat items here. Sweets and farsan snacks are also of good quality. I like their Cheese Makhanas, however, most times they are out of stock. "Bhajni chi chakli" is amazing. Staff & Service - 5/5 (very kind and helping Marathi people) Food Quality and Quantity - 5/5 Value for money - 3/5 (almost everything is overpriced)
TRUSHANT SAGVEKAR
The best shop to purchase sweets and namkeen foods. All type of sweets are available. Many unknown sweets and namkeen food are available. Chat is famous here but it is available in the evening only.
Milind C Mayekar
Originally a Mithai (Indian Sweets) shop, but now you get everything from namkin to chocolates to dry fruits to cakes & pastries to snack to chat items and many more. Good quality, fresh sweets in a huge variety and flavours. A bit on the expensive side. Sufficient free public parking available in front of the outlet.
Presheeta Kanthikar
The best shop to purchase sweets and namkeen foods. All type of sweets are available. Many unknown sweets and namkeen food are available. Chat is famous here but it is available in the evening only. They give us for tasting before buying. I have tried humsafar, kachori, samosa, white yellow palak dokla, kothimbir wadi, aluwadi, imarti, rasgulla, gulab jamun etc. All are tasty and delicious. Bulk orders are accepted here. Quality is best. Hygiene is maintained here. All food are served fresh. Cost is little high but worth it. Staff is friendly and cooperative.
Ketaki Aikat
The best place for chaat items around. The pani puri however is just about okay. Tikki chole and dahi-puri are really good. Sweets ofcourse are exceptional here. It’s extremely crowded during the weekends and even in evenings otherwise. Finding a place to park here is usually challenging.
Hrishikesh Puranik
A wide range of sweets and chaat items are available. However, the taste is not very authentic. The biggest plus point is the hygiene that is maintained.
Swati Pereira
I like this corner for its authenticity as the food products they do mention the shelf life for their sweets which is raly helpful for the customers to buy if any1 wants to gift. The place is hygienic, the staff is helpful. Their chaat corner is to hog for! I find it overly priced, yet you will see it mostly crowded in the evenings.

Nice ambience with Quality products...place provides you nice chats & Sweets. They really taste good however the price of products are too high and that can make a good hole in the pocket. Also the service guys provide you a nice experience.
Chinmay Kolgaonkar
The store is located at prime spot of vrindavan society. It offers variety of sweets, namkeen and even snacks. The taste is awesome. Moreover the quality is up to mark. It also offers chat and sandwiches.
Save Our Tummies
Joshi sweets is a legendary spot for all the residents of Brindavan Society.
It's been around for atleast two decades now and the Samosas they serve are the best we've eaten in Thane.
They also serve "Chaat" in the evening and offer a huge variety of pedas and sweets.
The Gajar Halwa is rich in taste and highly recommended.
.
.
.
#thane #thanefoodie #saveourtummies
Joshi Sweets

I have seen them grow so much that they have become the go-to spot for every festival. Apart from the usual sweets they have amazing snacks and chaat.

The mawa used in the making of the sweets is always fresh and delicious. This sweet shop offers multiple range of sweets from rajbhoj to sandwich sweets and so on. Also you can find here packaged chips and other on the go food stuff. Outside of the shop you can have chat which is owned by the shop itself it's very heigenic and tastes yum. It's a must try if u r anywhere near Vrindavan society.
Flower Girl
The sweets are made in the shop with just the correct amount of sweetness and light flavour. Each of its sweets(sandwich, kajukatli are some worth mentioning among others) taste so subtle and delicious. Though, the price is a bit on the higher side but if you're anywhere around Vrindavan just try it out. Also they have chat , sandwich and veg rolls which are best for gouging on during evenings.

A typical sweet shop along with chat and snack corner outside the shop
I love the samosa and chineese samosa served with tempting sweet thick tamarind chutney.
Talking about the sweets has alot of variety and reasonable !!
Overall :4/5 ☆

Firstly it is not in the Castle mill. It is properly placed in Vrindavan Society a well-known society in Thane. The society itself is a township with more than 100 building. A highly recommended place for sweet lovers. They give fresh & best sweet in Vrindavan area. They also serve Chats in the evening which is outstanding and few snacks items like samosa, Dhokla, etc.. which are also very good. 100% hygiene maintained in a shop. Must visit for sweet buyers or lovers.
Leeraa Shah
You get the Best samosas and super sweets! At very reasonable rate. Freshly made. and the Hot hot Samosa and out od the world. must visit - wihout a second guess.
Pooja Sekar
Great for sweets, but this place serves both sweet as well as savoury.
Must trys : rasmalai, anjeer Barfi, malai peda, vadapav, samosapav.
A bit overpriced but yummmyyyyyy!
Chinsthefoodie
This Sweet shop is also famous for snacks like Samosas, chinese samosa, Dhokala, Kachori and Chaats. Samosa and chinese Samosa are our favorite dishes here. We are buying from here for more than 10 years.

Decent Sweets at reasonable price. Ras malai, chamcham and Kharwas are the dishes one should try atleast once.
Beardandcurl
One of the age old shops on Brindavan , you will get commonly asked for sweets readily available. They are renovated now and a more clean and hygienic place.
Navaneeth Krishnan
A decent sweet shop with quality of taste.. with chats at one corner with Pani Puri at its best. Condiments are also good. Rasgulla s one of my favourite
Vinod.angwilkar
Fresh and good quality guarantee is the USP of Joshi Sweet. The prices are comparatively less than other femous sweet shops. The Kaju katali and samosa is must try options.
Chirag Dixit
Nice variety in sweets. Their snacks - vada and samosas are very famous. Their rates are a bit higher though. Almost entire vrindavan and shreerang people go here for their favorite sweets and snacks.
Food Gorrilas
Joshi sweets is best in the area of Vrindhavan, Ritu park. The sweets which they have are delicious, the best of my liking is gulab jamun, Kaju katli. The other snacks which we usually take is khaman dhokla, it's really soft.
Sharique Shaikh
Samosas is what this place is really famous for with their sweet and tangy chutney . They also have Garson and sweets but the chats is what makes it stand out.
Sid Sar
Amazing samosas ,farsan n other namkeens.........Also a chaat stall outside serving amazing panipuris,......Economical and tasty......A place which I have been visiting since I was a child and never was I disappointed except when the samosas get over .......Do visit the place in the evening and experience for urself
Priti Sangwikar Dalal
My all time favorite snacks corner. Just when you are craving for quick snack this the only place for me. Popular for their most sold item Samosa and chat items. Their samosas are so good that you can't eat just one.😛
Saurabh Kokane
Famous for their samosa and chat this place has flourished well in vrundavan. Though I'm not particularly happy about their sweets section as it lacks quality. Had pretty bad experience with Gulab jamun. Snacks they offer are particularly good. Do try.
Aditi Shinde
The famous shop in Vrindavan and nearby areas for sweets, munchings, chaat and the best samosa.. From childhood we have been eating the joshi sweets ka samosa in every birthday party, on every occasion and whenever the guest is at our home.. 😅 but never tired of the taste..infact Our taste buds always crave for it ... I can bet its best samosa in thane...must try😋
PROSENJIT BANERJEE
Small foodjoint and sweet shop in Vrindavan Society. They make good varities of sweets and the taste is decent. They also deals with indian snacks like samosa, wada, pani-puri chat etc.. One can expect it to be a little crowded during evening hours particularly at the snacks counter. No seating arrangament is available, overall a decent sweet and snack joint.
Vandana Mehra Sen
Well this is the ONLY go to sweet shop for all residents staying in Vrindavan Society, Srirang Society and Rutu Park. No, it's not that other sweet shops don't exist ( though I agree they are far and few), Joshi sweets wins hands down when it comes to quality and taste. Their motichoor laddu is one of the best I have had. Nariyal barfi, Angoori rasmalai and the regular white rasgulla are delicious! I am personally not a big fan of dry sweets, hence will refrain from commenting. The chat is delectable and the range is mind blowing. The samosas though expensive ( Rs 14 a piece) are not to be missed. The Meethi chutney and the fried chillies go superbly well with the hot samosas. Dhokla, Khandvi, aloo Chop, kanda bhajiyas or kothimbir vadi, you name it and they hAve it. The only flip side is the price, Joshi sweets is definitely a tad more expensive than other shops of its cadre. However considering it enjoys a monopoly among three huge residential societies of Thane, the forces of economics explain the reason well.
Sarthak Ghosalkar
Joshi sweets is a go to sweetshop for all staying in vrindavan and srirang in Thane. It's small but very clean. They have chat counter also which works like crazy good.

But my favorite thing here is kachori and samosa. These two with their amazing sweet chatni is one of my cravings. The chat is also good. Not the best but overall a good place.

I have seen this place evolve throughout my childhood.. If we have guests at our place, we have to have Joshi Samosas.. Not just the Samosas but the Sweet Little Chutney as well.. God sent!! Bengoli sweets and Chats..

Some places are a big part of childhood. Joshi sweets is one such place. Every 'Brindavanite' will have some memory attached with this place!
From a small sweets and farsan shop a decade back, Joshi sweets has grown into a shop serving chaat, sandwich, samosa and other snacks, along with sweets. Quality is still intact.

Highlight of the shop: Samosa with chutney is too good. Also pani puri and dhokla. You can try their rasmalai as well. Sandwiches are not so good. Can be much better.
Recommend this place for farsan and samosa. Do give it a try. 😊

A corner shop near the Brindaban Society bus stop, Joshi sweets has been around for three decades here.

Weekends see a lot of footfalls, the society residents can make it seem like a mela.

The big draw are the Samosa's, Batata wada's, Kachori's, served hot with the mint chutney.

Another welcome addition in the last few years have been their Chat Corner at the entrance.

The owner herself is there most of the times managing to keep the place hygienic and you will enjoy the weekend snacking.
Abhishek Parab
Very famous shop within area for its Sweet's. Many people even enjoy eating chat over here but what i love are the hot and tasty samosa's they have. Been eating from here since childhood.
Amit Bhardwaj
Just like typical sweet shop they have snacks corner and sweets displayed. Tried laddus there which were priced higher than they should. Quality wise it was ok types. Staff is not so friendly and understand only when customers talk at Higher pitch.
Neeraj Kolge
Located near Vrindavan bus stop.. Not a big fan of their bengali seeets.. Prefer this place during Ganpatis for their 250gm big modaks.. +they've got a chaat counter.. Have tried it once or twice.. It was fairly good.. Nothing to complain about.. :)
Omkar Sakpal

A very good shop for all sweet products. Their chaat items however lacks a little taste but punjabi samosa n chinese samosa are just delicios.
Rohil
One of the oldest sweet shops in Thane. The sweets served are usually fresh n delicious.

PRICE:
Bengali sweets are little expensive. But the rates are usually reasonable.

MY PICK:
Don't miss out the samosa and the tamarind chatni served with it.
Milk cake and milk barfi is one of my personal favorite.
Bengali sweets taste good.
