The food we tried was excellent. The staff suggested paneer starter from their Thai menu which was spicy and tangy. Paneer was soft and well made. The sizzler was sufficient for 2 people. We tried veg kolhapuri which was also a good preparation.

The food is really tasty. Ambience is great. The place is lil small & you can hear others chit chatting around. Overall a nice place to talk with your friends over food.

This a perfect place for a family dinner or eating out with friends. Place has got nice vibes. Food served is great and service is also prompt.

Looking at the reviews i was a bit doubtful about the fpod quality and service here so i happened to call up the owner and ask him about it. He just asked me to come over and try the food and i must say I'm not disappointed at all! The place is well connected and is located right opposite to Talao Pali so it's easy to spot it. Tried the Buffet lunch at ₹199 (inclusive of taxes). The food quality was pretty good. Served in the thali was - Dal, Steam Rice, Naan/Roti, Tawa Sabji and Paneer Kadhaiwala accompanied by 2 pieces of Gulab jamun, Butter milk and Veg Manchurian Soup Apart from the food, the ambiance of the place is really nice. The interior is nicely done and the Edison Bulbs just add to the overall feel. The staff is well behaved and friendly. The buffet is a budget friendly option to host gatherings but is only available between 12-4pm, so grab the deal while it lasts 🔥

The food was good, I tried Manchurian soup over here & Singapore combination rice which was topped with cheeze... The restaurant is near talao pali, has a good ambience, and a different interior of hanging mugs... Its a vegetarian restaurant & as per my information, on certain days they have unlimited thali... Green leaf is very near to talao pali. You can go here after spending some time at talao pali. But go here before 8 bcoz usually it gets full. We tried the pav bhaji here which is very awesome. And at last we had guava icecream. Overall experience was excellent. Do try.

🌟Panner kishan<br/>Talking about panner they were really soft and fresh. The grave was amazing, it wasn't typical grave where you find each grave of same taste. This was different. Must try. It comes with dark brown grave and the taste is definitely something new.<br/>🌟Veg balle balle<br/>Even this grave was great. This didn't have panner in it. For people who don't like panner, it's the best main course you can have. Full of veggies chopped into small pieces. Again the taste is unique.<br/>🌟Butter roti<br/>The rotis were way to soft and perfect for eating.<br/>🌟Daal khichdi<br/>Sometimes which most of the people prefer. It was again amazing, it wasn't much thick. The proportion was good. Also the quantity was good enough.<br/>🌟Guava icream<br/>The masla on the top is the the craving part of guava icream. It's yum. A must try desert.

Had home-delivered the palak khichdi and paneer biryani. The quantity was good and the pricing is just about right. The palak khichdi was outstanding. It was super fresh and tasted good. Coming to the biryani, I had a lot of expectations from it. However, it failed to impress as you could taste and smell the cardboard box packaging in it. Overall, its a good place for vegetarians.

Ordered Veg Kadai For Home Delivery. Really Great it was!! Review purely based on delivery. Sudden craving of dal khichdi made us order from here.<br/>Delivery was on time. Packing was good, they even provided a cloth bag.<br/>Dal khichdi tadka was delicious. It was well cooked and could feel the tadka in every morsel. I will make this Review as honest and unbiased as possible. So here is the summary : IF you think only rice and dal for 200rs makes a great buffet go OTHERWISE save your money and go elsewhere. <br/><br/>1. Ambiance: It is a small place right opposite to talao pali. There is not much to talk about "ambiance" but the place is clean. Its safe to eat here at least from how it looks.<br/>2. Staff: The staff was courteous but it is a part of their job. They don't bother much when you are eating which is a great thing in my opinion. <br/><br/>3. Buffet Food items: There are only 5 items : Roti/Naan, 2 vegetables, Dal, Buttermilk/soup, Dessert. The choice on the buffet is EXTREMELY LIMITED and if you dont happen to like one or two items then congratulations: you paid 200rs to go hungry. Moreover, ONLY TWO gulab jamuns are provided in the buffet so its not truly a buffet. <br/><br/>4. Food Quality: The quality of the food is inconsistent. The soup was good, the veg curries are fine. Nothing to rave but nothing to complain although i only liked the one with the paneer. It was difficult to find much difference between Naan and the roti. They were both cold, rubbery and frankly unappetizing. That is great news beacuse now you can enjoy some rice for 200rs. The rice was good and the gulab jamun is a little too sweet. <br/><br/>5. Food Serving: SELF SERVICE  IS NOT AVAILABLE. You have to take the same plate they give you at the beginning and keep going back like a beggar if you want more and they will serve you in the plate. Almost feels like standing in a line at one of those free food camps except you have paid 200rs...<br/>My overall opinion: Green Leaf has played a nice trick by keeping the buffet at 199. It is not truly a Buffet as the dessert is limited to only 2 gulab jamuns. One of the neat tricks they use is to keep the rotis/naan less than desirable so people are left to put a lot of rice on their plate. Rice is cheap and fills up the stomach fast. That means people cant eat much even if they do like something out of the 2 veg curries/dal. In the end, the result is Green leaf boxes people into a corner, forcing them to eat rice on the buffet and basically people end up paying 200Rs for eating dal/chawal. Further by not allowing people to take their own food, they basically try to shame you into limiting what you want of whatever little is available to begin with. <br/><br/>Do yourself a favor, save your money and eat at home, OR add another 300 - 400rs and go to eat at one of the many great buffets like Barbecue Nation in town.

Many times we order food from this restaurant via Zomato and food was good but not consistent. Bcoz of taste we finally decided to visit restaurant personally. We asked Captain for some Main course options and Veg Tiranga was suggested to us. Veg was less spicy, tasteless and half cooked vegetables. Very much disappointed. Majority hotels charge MRP for water. These people charged 35 inr for the same. Overall bad experience.

So It was one boaring day when I was alone at home & my day was passing literally by doing nothing bit in noon I felt hungry wanted to eat something that I love too also didn't wanted to leave my bed as well so Zomato came here rescue me from this situation where I found this restaurant with their expertise in veg food.<br/><br/>I ordered panner tikka biryani from their menu & It was above the expectation of mine. The food was good, service was ordinary. They don't have a ventilation system, meaning sizzlers and brownies will smell across the room. Tables were shaky, so was the service.

A very conveniently located fast food joint for when you are in the Naupada/Talaopali area. Decent ambience, brisk service and value-for-money food are what one can expect from this place. Have sampled the pav bhaji, cold coffee and the kaju methi roll during my visit here. The kaju methi roll deserves a special mention, because not only was this dish conceptually an innovative one, but the combination of a soft methi tikki on the inside, with a deep-fried coating encrusted with cashew bits, was very flavourful and winsome. Will love to visit again.

Quantity.. Quantity was great.. 4 - 5 people can have one sabzi..<br/>2. Variety.. There are 3 diffrent kind of taste in that in one sazi because of curry and gravy.. We get 3 diffrent taste in every bite..<br/>With this sabzi we had Naan..<br/>We even had fried rice.. The reason i love to order fried rice is just simple you dont need to have dal or kadhi or something with it.. It is one of the best veg restaurants in Thane. Also, I’m a Pav Bhaji lover and I had one of the best Pav Bhaji. The staff was courteous and friendly. I also had a rumali roti masala papad, which was quite huge and main course. In dessert I had a chocolate ice cream which was also the best. I loved the ambience of this place. It was too good. The decor was amazing. A nice place to celebrate birthdays and to have a great time with family.

Green leaf- as the name says it's a pure veg restaurant situated at the famous Talaopali. A perfect place for a family lunch/dinner. For the appetisers opt for their Veg Sweet Corn Soup and Cheese Garlic Bread. For the main course, Veg Balle-Balle is the perfect dish. It is medium spicy with medium red gravy. It tastes well with Kulcha and Missi Roti. If you are at Talaopali, do head there.

I had organised our College Freshers Party at the banquet of Green leaf Restaurant.<br/>Can't get over the dinner that we had it was too good.<br/>Our menu included - Tawa pulao, Butter Pav bhaji, Gulabjamun, Salad, Roasted Papad.<br/>I loved every food item that was served. We went here on sunday... We got our seats easily.. ambience was nice n warm.. staff was also polite... Food was ok... We ordered cheese corn tikki, which was nice by its look but absolutely disappointing in taste.. for main course we ordered paneer achari which was nicely flavoured with pickle, we liked it. but overall it was ok ok experience.

I went in with my family. The ambiance was really good. The interiors were quite attractive. We were there for dinner and must say enjoyed alot. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was very much friendly. Had a good time here. Would love to come back again. And will also suggest all my friends staying in thane to try this very cool place once.

This place serves good Indian food. They should improve on their continental menu. We had ordered Thai curry and sizzler both of them had spinach leaves (which were not even chopped). These long leaves get stuck in throat and it feels like throwing up !<br/>Kindly chop those long leaves before using. And also, please don’t use spinach in every dish. There was spinach in Thai curry and no exotic vegetables like broccoli bell peppers (as it is supposed to be!). Similarly in sizzler, there was spinach & no French beans, baby corn n all usuals present in a normal sizzler. And the sizzler took about 1 and 1/2 hours to come! <br/>They really need to improve their continental menu!!

Had been here for some quick breakfast after church. The restuarant is situated location with an apt ambience with slow music going on in the background. Food is served hot and is quite delicious. Hot beverages need some improvement otherwise a good place for quick bites.

I haven’t tried the same yet, so my review is completely based on al carte dining experience at Green leaf !! <br/><br/>Have visited Green Leaf 2 to 3 times for dinner with family and now it’s one of my fav places in thane !! Had been der for dinner last night.The ambience is superb with nicely done interiors..gud hospitality n nice service.. however the food was not as tasty as expected...it was not worth d rates quoted on the menu..they need to improve d food quality..the quantity was good enough for two people though..

The food is rwally bad like they put peanut sause in almost all dishes.....the shakes were pathetic.......plus the triple shezwan noodles were really bad....also in corn cheez tikki the taste was missing.....had a bad expirience .....they should improve the taste......really very bad.....

Great quality for the cost. Sizzlers were amazing.. We always deliver it at home and love it.. Its worth the sunday take out dinner. Good job guys!!!!

Visit was yesterday yes its little conjusted and but ambience is good and its modern. Liked the restaurant very much. It was really rainy yesterday but then too i had chosen this as my dinner restaurant.menu card was well written and tables were well placed. The soup was freshly made and mint leaves were added. With this the taste was made at its highest level.<br/><br/>Paneer crispy 5/5<br/><br/>I must say this was the best of all the cirsp of the paneer crispy was awsome and it was really soft. When it went inside my mouth it just melted amd it was freshly made this was the best in the starters option will recommend highly.<br/><br/>Veg shezwan fried rice 4/5<br/><br/>I dont knw if this was made in hurry or not this was a little burnt and the quantity was good. Great food at great price..glad we decided to visit this place for our kitty...we went for lunch, it was buffet.. per person just for 200 INR what else do you want..

The price for lunch buffet is really low but the quality of the food is not great either, you’ll not get the best service here. But can have decent amount of satisfaction after having the food.

The buffet (Rs. 199) was basic. It had 1 soup, 1 paneer curry, 1 vegetable curry, 1 dal, 1 rice and 1 dessert. The watered-down chaas was served once I started eating my main course and not when I mentioned that I wanted the buffet - coming in from the scorching May sun!<br/><br/>The restaurant needs crockery because the service boy brought half a green chilli for the chilli-vinegar to have with my Manchow soup. When I requested more, he brought a fistful of chopped green chillies in his palm. I was unsure how to react.<br/><br/>The soup was nice. The curries would've tasted better if they were hot and not mildly warm...this made me go back to the soup - which waa hotter and better in taste!<br/><br/>Rao (the Captain) was busy talking to the staff. He had to be reminded of my requests. I guess it was more important to communicate with his staff than to ensure guests' requests were met. Staff were vocal. One could hear that table 17's order was pending and table 14's order was ready for pickup. Also, the vegetable order for the kitchen was not picked up....there was an issue with the bitter gourd. It was really nice experience for me.. my friend took me to this restaurant.. we had cheese corn tikki as strter.. then we had paneer ki shaan and naan.. paneer was so soft and juicy.. cheese corn tikki was really tasty and something different than normal tikkis.. it was really tasty dishes we had order.. recommended..

Food is decent. Portions are large. Service is slow. We were there for over 1 hour and there was power outage, was surprised to find out they dont have power backup or generator, which is quite disappointing.

Looking at the reviews i was a bit doubtful about the food quality and service here so i happened to call up the owner and ask him about it. He just asked me to come over and try the food and i must say I'm not disappointed at all!<br/>The place is well connected and is located right opposite to Talao Pali so it's easy to spot it.<br/>Tried the Buffet lunch at ₹199 (inclusive of taxes). The food quality was pretty good.<br/>Served in the thali was - Dal, Steam Rice, Naan/Roti, Tawa Sabji and Paneer Kadhaiwala accompanied by 2 pieces of Gulab jamun, Butter milk and Veg Manchurian Soup<br/>Apart from the food, the ambiance of the place is really nice. The interior is nicely done and the Edison Bulbs just add to the overall feel. The staff is well behaved and friendly!<br/>The buffet is a budget friendly option to host gatherings but is only available between 12-4pm so grab the deal while it lasts 🔥

The service is extremely pathetic. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The food is also pathetic. We ordered veg biryani which was nothing like biryani. I will give zero star to this place.
