The place is really nice. The hygiene level at the restaurant is quite good. Jain food is also available. An ample amount of space is available for parking. We experienced very fast service. It may also depend upon what you order. Overall it's a good place to take a break in the journey and have some food.

A perfect breakfast and meals option for travellers towards Nashik from Mumbai This is a pure veg restaurant Ample parking space. Lots of food options. Quality and Quantity is good Hygiene is well maintained. Medu vada is very good here. Wash rooms are ample and clean. Rates are a bit on the higher side.

We were driving from Mumbai to Aurangabad and were for a decent place to have lunch. Didn't have too much expectations but this place exceeded it. They have a large dining space and a separate family dining area that is air conditioned. Whatever we ordered tasted nice. The service was quick and courteous. Restrooms were near and clean. Would definitely recommend this place.

Shiv Sagar Restaurant is a good place to stop by on Nashik Road. They have a car parking space. Good Spacious place with a comfortable seating arrangement and restroom facility. The staff is fast in service and courteous. We enjoyed breakfast. They have extensive menu options. Poha was not available. We had a Veg Sandwich, One plate of Vada pav (served two vada pav), and on request ghee masala dosa Everything was freshly made and delicious. Especially Masala Dosa in Ghee was delicious. We enjoyed every bite of it. Recommend this place.

This restaurant is situated at Mumbai Nashik highway near Bhiwandi. Shiv Sagar is brand name now a days, so we decided to do breakfast here in our journey. It is typical highway type restaurant. Ambience is very nice, they also have family dining area inside. Food is tasty and delicious. Staff is very friendly and cooperative.

Map location is correct. This is on highway towards nashik side. The food is bit expensive but the quality is great. Washroom is clean and you have hand wash also available to wash ur hands. They have western and indian both available. You have loadging also available in the same property. Lonavala chikki shop, pan shop and khadi garment store as well. Next to this restaurant u have repair shop too

The interiors of this place has caricatures of bollywood celebs that were amazing. The staff was polite and the food service was also good. The dining area at mezzanine has AC while the ground floor does not. SHIV SAGAR is a very popular brand name in Indian fast food and tradational cuisine, and it has more than 50 outlets all across the city. This got me excited and I, along with my family decided to visit this outlet, just out of no-where-else-to-go as we were not able to find any restaurants near the Thane station. The ambience is very quriky, as the management has taken a good step in filling up the restaurant's walls with doodles and comic images of bollywood celebrities and their famous dialoges. Though the seating is pretty casual, like you'd find in any normal family restaurant. This is as far as the goodie goodies go, because now the stort goes somewhat down hill. The service was very poor. I can understand it being a weekend and a bit busy evening, but that too isn't excuse enough for them to make us wait 20-25 minutes for every single dish. <br/><br/>VEG CRISPY, one of my family favourites and it turned out to be a decent deal. <br/><br/>Another starter we were supposed to get was PANEER SHEEKH KEBAB, but turns out it came last! After the shakes and desserts were over! The whole fun and excitement of having these kebabs was ruined and I wasn't even able to appreciate it at all.<br/><br/>NACHOS with CHEESE was excatly what it said it was, but there was some extra bell peppers as well. It was crispy alright but the warm liquid cheese gets cold pretty soon and then the chips gets soggy and spoils the fun.<br/><br/>CREMA COLA and BLUR HEAVEN were two soda plus ice cream beverages, more like an upgrade of coke float and it was really good. Something I would want to try again. <br/><br/>Over all experience was pretty good, but the poor service proved to be very annoying and spoilt the fun, thus earning them a fairly moderate rating. I hope and wish they improve and I get a chance to experience that first hand.<br/><br/>Happy Burping!!!<br/><br/>

One of the oldest restaurant in Thane serving Pure Veg Food! Yes it's your top favourite if you are pure vegetarian. They have maintained their standard from many years tho! You need to visit this place quite early on Weekends as there is alot of Waiting close to 30mins. You need not worry about the waiting people as they have made proper seating arrangement for waiting people as well. Best part is that they also do have their parking so you didn't worry about that! This place is good for vegetarian people & it is located near thane railway station. Average food taste, quantity was good. They have AC and Non AC area. Service provided by staff is good. The service was little slow.We tried triple schezwan rice and caramel custard. Caramel custard was really tasty. Overall I will rate this place 3/5.

Been here quite a few times. On weekday afternoons you will get seating easily. Its vegetarian only. Food is good. The tomato soup is nice. They also have a veg thali which is filling. Aloo paratha is tasty. One will fill you up.

Horrible experience with rude staff. Ordered a Cold coffee. They gave us coffee which was not cold at all. When we told them about it, they gave us ice. When i asked to replace it, dey gave the drink with crush of ice. When spoke to the restaurant manager about it, answer was cold coffee is made this way only.

Shiv sagar is very near to the Thane railway station, Shiv sagar provides a variety of cuisine from chinese, indian and southindian, italian. The best is north indian dishes. We had manchow soup,kulcha, naan, paneer masala, jeera rice and royal falooda. The dishes were pretty good in taste and the ambiance is very nice. Highly recommended for family greetings and north indian cuisine.

Absolutely horrible experience here. Ordered their Neer Dosa Paneer Chilly combo and mind you it's a complete ripoff. Quantity is pretty less and the taste is also average at best. Even on the name of soft drinks they completely make a fool out of you and charge close to 3 times the actual price of a 200 ml bottle. The staff and management is also very unfriendly. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing restaurant! Good ambience! I had ordered Malai Kofta (which was sweeter than expected), Roti (which was nice), Lemon coriander soup (which was good but could have been better in taste) and pulav (which was also good). So the overall taste was good. It deserves 3.5/5 as an overall rating.

Been here last week since there was no other option.Ordered Paneer Sweet corn in Sezwan style as Appetizer and Veg Kolhapuri with Butter Rotis.<br/><br/>Appetizer was good but bit oily quantity was sufficient for two people.Paneer and Sweet corn were adequate.<br/>Veg Kolhapuri was below average it was very oily and green peas were undercooked.<br/>We ordered Butter Rotis but plain rotis were served.<br/>Overall disappointed with main course.

One of the best veg restaurants in Thane. It’s easily to find this place because it is situated near Thane station. They serve some amazing Indian snacks especially Pavbhaji and I had one of the best Pavbhaji in town. My family love Kheecha papad and Neer dosa here. Also they have a great varieties of rice and main course. The only thing they should improve is the hygiene. The last time I visited here I found a lot of mosquitoes. Also there was a cockroach on my seat.

Located very close to Thane station on the west side. Admist all the busy things happening outside shivsagar feels really calm and cuts you out somehow from the outside. They serve real good tea, coffee and filter coffee. Sambar is tasty and on the sweeter side. Good dosas - butter onion rava masala dosa is my favorite.

It's only 2 minutes away from thane railway station. It has two seating section AC above n normal below. Food was ok. Ambience was good. Service was also good and quick. Misal quantity was little less compare to other but it was tasty. Rawa dosa was crispy but needed little more salt. Sambhar was very tasty. Combo of nirav dosa and paneer chilly was ok.

This place has been every travellers choice only because of its proximity to Thane station. Talking about Food the only good thing over here is Fast Food. I won't recommend people to dine in here. The Thali that my mom dad ordered was very okayish. I can give that Thali 3/10. Also, we chose to sit in AC cuz the temperature out is 34°C. But even in their AC dine in, the temperature was not even 25°C. We felt really hot while having our lunch. Also, the place was overly crowed.<br/>

We were waiting for our bus hence found this place for snacks. A busy afternoon, this place was almost full. We ordered Cheese Masala Pav which was lipsmacking and so cheesy. Loved the masala as well.

The worst preperation of hara bhara kebab and khoya kaju I ever had. The kebab were flat as a disc and chewy while the khoya kaju gravy was thick enough to be counted as shrikhand. very disappointed with roti as well, it was chewy too. Firstly change the chef and start delivering eatable food and secondly please improve the packing quality.

The dahi vada is simply amazing; it's so important to get the consistency and taste of the dahi right. The rava masala dosa was superb, chutney and sambhar were damn good too. They packed my rava dosa really well in a banana leaf. the stuffed parantha could have had some more paneer though. we could only see carrots and peas and very little paneer. for the price it shud have had some more. overall very good food. it was a good decision to order from here!!

One of the oldest places to serve south Indian food in thane. Being just across my society I have been dining or ordering food from them for years now. Though the quality has remained good. Their innovation into making it a multi cuisine restaurant has not worked too well. Recommended for their South Indian cuisine not others.

If you want to try some authentic , one must order paneer/ veggie ghee roast and neer dosa. I would also like to try avocado smoothie and tandoor some day. I ordered neer dosa with vegetables ghee roast.At last i tried Hot pot rice which has mild taste not spicy though. Try these above dishes as they are some speciality of the restaurant:)👌

This is located near thane west station. The ambience is also good.<br/>But this time I tried ordering food online. The order was delivered before time.<br/>I ordered -<br/>Veg. Sabji Dil bahar - It is Sabji with green gravy and paneer koftas, would rate it 3.5/5<br/>In breads I ordered butter roti and butter naan, but sadly it was a bit burnt. I would rate it 2.5/5 <br/>In rice I ordered Veg. Fried rice which was good. I would rate it 4/5.<br/>Overall rating 3.5/5

Shiv Sagar name itself is a brand very popular and serve tasty food. I'm writing this review after more than 5 visits..<br/>This is one of the places near Thane station were you can go for a quick bite! <br/>Service is fast..! Spacious! Has A/c and non A/c and outdoor seating too..!<br/>South Indian items and Chinese food on the menu are really good..<br/>And if you are drawn here by the smell pav bhaji then I would suggest you to go to other places around..<br/><br/>Happy eating!!

Very close to thane station west , they have two floors with upper one which is ac sitting .<br/><br/>It's quite a big place with clean and tidy flooring .<br/><br/>We wanted something cold so we ordered flalooda , milkshake and 2-3 types of ice cream , the presentation was good with a proper use of serving but the service was quite slow .<br/><br/>All the milkshake and flalooda was made yummy and delicious .

A big blot on Shiv Sagar franchise. Ordered veg toast sandwich. Ironically the sandwich bread was toasted but the vegetables inside where straight out of refrigerator. First time I had semi chilled toast sandwich. Attaching a photograph of the same.

Close to station, with a.c. hall and neat and clean ambience which are really good points other than food. Coming to the food, I tried onion and tomato utthappam, medu wada and idli. Everything was delicious. Tried filter coffee and it was below average. Staff is attentive, courteous and friendly. Value for money. Service is fast too. Of course I am going again and already started recommending to others.

Very bad experience with Shiv Sagar. We ordered the food online and was expecting to be delivered on time. After 2 hours, boy delivered the wrong food to us. He then went again to change and overall it took 3 hours to receive. Such a bad service from a restaurant. They should focus to improve delivery services.

Location : Near to Thane station, very popular junction near auto stand. Two level restaurant (one level having air conditioning), and mostly all types of food available.<br/><br/>Quality & Quantity : they have provide good amount of food with respect to its price. I have majorly tried their south indian dishes and thalies. You can try also snacks, chats & different food shakes.<br/><br/>Price : pocket friendly<br/><br/>Always should be a try.

I usually review food but this time it's beyond that. These guys charge 18% GST on Non AC section and when queried, they speak to you like a thug. They are rude and intimidating. Beware of these people. Shivsagar, buck up please. Reputation denting incident this.
