Quality and quality maintained i tried Chicken Munchaao Soup and the taste was just amazing . Cleanliness is also well maintained.

Totally recommend this hotel if you're looking for both quantity and quality. Oyester chilly noodles, a must try dish that too for 3 people in a single plate.

In these days,due to the rising incidences of Cancer cases.One needs to be very sure about the addition of additives,MSG,Carcinogens in Sauce.Hope Desire looks into these things very closely to avoid various types of cancers.So far has been reliable when home minister is busy.Thanks !

Have been to Desire since day of inception somewhere around 2013.Though ownership changed multiple times in last 9 years, there is no change in food quality and taste, this is constant. Only problem is with payment and home delivery. They do not accept card and home delivery is way below standard. It's better to order via Swiggy or Zomato to avoid delays. Packaging can be better and they can do away with use of plastic material. Overall Desire will have long lasting impression on me, long time after I move out of Thane

Their soups and noodle preparations are a must try. All in all it's a pocket-friendly place with good food and can be visited with friends and family.

THE best Chinese food ive ever had in my life , orders might be late by 10 mins on weekends rush hours but the food is dope. I would say this restaurant guves rhe best chinese food in yours budget 2 - 3 ppl can eat in 1 plate of any rice or noodles. If you love chinese , this place is a must visit.

Super place to have Chinese food at a low price. Don't think twice if you are in Thane and want to eat Chinese this is the place for you. Given one star less as the ambience can be much better. It's definitely a 5 starrer for food

One of the few good places in Thane which offers good Chinese. Situation near Hyde Park in Thane this is very cosy joint where along with Chinese you get Thai food options. We tried soup & lollipop masala which was really good.

Awesome food. Food portions are huge so decide your meals accordingly. Ambience can be slightly better and the wall seats can have a bit of cushion.

This place was once upon a time a heaven for Chinese food lover. This place with the discovery restaurant menu and style did justice to the food and price. Unfortunately this place has shut down permanently. Will miss it..

We are regulars at Desire since 2014. However off late the standards seem to have fallen drastically. The quality of the food and service has fallen. Sea food is not available most of the time.<br/><br/>We ordered Singapore Chicken Noodles and Chicken Malaysian Red Gravy (home delivery). We were promised a delivery time of 30-45 mins. However after calling and reminding 3-4 times, the order finally arrived after 1 hour and 20 mins. This is the last time we are eating from this place.

Sorry to Say,, Worst Chinese dish i ever tried in the recent times. Not worth being in the menu at all. I literally and sadly had to throw the food... It was BAD. Sticky with a huge amount of corn starch added to make the gravy thicker and the chicken was also pathetic. NO TASTEUsing chilli ginger garlic and soy sauce doesn't make food chinesePlease do some RND and do better.  Would love to order from you someday...

I had placed an order for Chicken Oyster Chilli Noodles, Thai green curry & Chicken fried rice. The noodles tasted extremely spoilt. I called the restaurant only to inform him about this. I even told him that I did not expect any refund or exchange. He responded very rudely. This is not what I expect for a customer who has ordered from them for over 5 years regularly. I think it's high time I change over.

You have to follow google maps if you are new to Thane to search this very good chinese outlet since last 2 years.<br/><br/>Dishes Tried : Wanton Soup is light with freshly prepared wantons dipped in a clear chicken soup no sauces added.<br/><br/>Chicken Nainkin Rice was good in terms of quantity. Taste wise its not that spicy but yes definetly tasty.<br/><br/>Mongolese Chicken as starter tastes thr same a Lollypop masala Dry only difference being that Mongolese chicken is boneless.<br/><br/>Do try this quite chinese outlet the ambience is good ,staff is courteous,quantity of the dishes is great so is the quality and price. The path to Chinese food lead to Desire for my first experience. Ordered a portion of Veg Chinese style flat noodles (requested for non spicy) and Chicken Triple Schezwan.<br/>Firstly, the quantities were enormous. It can easily satisfy the hunger twice. The flat noodles were well done and had a good mix of many accompaniments. The Schezwan was just what it should be, spicy but not very. Had good quantity of chicken, both with noodles and the gravy.<br/>I recommend this to fellow foodies. As far as I am concerned, will try something different next time.

This place is like every other Indo-Chinese restaurants. It's been like a stereotype. However, this doesn't mean it is bad.<br/>Located at Thane is a negative as it is hard to reach if you are not someone who lives nearby. But for people living in the area this is a good choice whenever they feel like having Chinese food.<br/>The Decor is just average with quite good seating and a television (with speakers on).<br/>The Service is not too slow, not too fast. could have been a little faster.<br/>Food here is nothing to kill for. I have only tasted from their Chinese menu, so I don't know about the others. But for what I had and what I paid, it was quite nice.

Ordered Triple Schezwan noodles , that comes with Schezwan balls and gravy. Everything was in red colour. There was no taste, no salt even, no veggies in the noodles and the Schezwan balls were very bad in taste with almost no salt. The ordered food was not even smelling fresh.Very bad experience.

Desire is located besides Greenwood complex near Hyde park. Being a very popular Chinese joint near my place , decided to try desire . The ambience is reasonable but the manager is pathetic . We had ordered Manchow soup 🍜 , Oyster noodles &Triple schezwan rice . <br/>In the Oyster noodles , the oyster sauce was put in excessive quantity so we told the manager about it and he wasn’t ready to accept that , instead he was laughing . The rice also didn’t have the schezwan flavour and was saltless . <br/>Had a very bad experience in desire , only hope that their management improves their behaviour and gives importance to the customers feedback .

Been to this place,very unpleasant behaviour and they had cancelled our first order intially and took another 1hr to make new order and we finally fed up with service and forced ourselves out of restaurant. Not at all recommended.

The food was very nice and the food had a lot of quantity and very good quality. I am very satisfied as the food tastes very nice , i havent tasted such great food in entire mumbai. I would rate the service 4/5 but the food makes up for it. The food comes a little late on weekend rush hours but overall i love it.

I ordered Veg schezwan fried rice and I have received chicken schezwan fried rice. This is the second that has happened. Really disappointed.

While the food was good and we order from them rather regularly, they seem to mess up by sending the wrong dish frequently. I don’t know if it’s just me but the 2 stars are because I have had to eat a cold meal after a long day far more frequently than I Desire(pun intended).

Ordered mix non veg fried rice and Thai garlic prawns. Food was overall good, but prawns were not cleaned properly. As far I am concerned prawns should be cleaned and de veined to remove the intestine, but while eating it was observed which was little disturbing. Please consider this in future.

One of d best places for (Desi style) Chinese food lovers. Probable d only place in Thane to offer best of d food quantities & still hv a good taste & a very decent spread of menu. Amazing quantity of starters (beware & order limited). Amazing menu spread.. the only place in thane which offers so many exciting options in Chinese and Thai. I have tried their <br/>Korean Rice - Its a green colour rice with humungous quantity and lots of veggies like baby corn, brocoli and chicken if you opt for Non veg. They use the fat long rice for this, so some might not like it. I personally don't have any issue because it tastes heavenly with the thai curry gravy<br/><br/>Thai green curry - full creamy coconut flavou@red curry - tastes delicious, A must try dish!!<br/><br/>Satay Chicken - Big sized pieces on skewers with Good taste<br/><br/>Chicken Lollipop - Very crispy and crunchy even at Home Delivery. One of the worst Chinese place to dine in or order from in Entire Thane, The service is pathetic they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating has cockroaches all around and the outdoor seating has no staff.<br/><br/>We literally had to wait until the staff comes outside and ask him to come to our table and request him to take our order, plus after they have taken our order it takes literally an hour for them to prepare the order until then they will give one tiny bowl of fried noodles between 4 people. Which literally finishes in less than 5 mins. When asked for another bowl for the same he said it will be chargeable even when the order may take years to arrive. <br/><br/>Once you receive the order you will be disappointed to realise that the street side vendor prepares better chinese than what is being served here. We had ordered Triple Schezwan Rice no doubt the quantity is great, but who will finish it if it doesn't taste good?<br/><br/>Trust me this place is not worth at all, they charge nearly 200 INR for Triple Schezwan Rice, which tastes very average.<br/><br/>Rating - 1/5

Ordered chicken lollypop from desire, but not as per the expectations. No crunchy, too oily, no taste. Packaging was also not well so the dish was not hot, again i have to microwave it to get crunchiness and make it able to eat. Totally dissatisfied.

Desire is a delight for chinese lovers,it taste's different than your regular joints,the quantity is pretty good considering the price you are paying.The ambiance is nothing great,pretty average, there's an ac section but it is congested,if u stay nearby to it order it at your place.

Desire Chinese is located near tulshidham. It has an ample seating area. The service here is quick and the rates are reasonable as well. <br/>They have sports screening ( tv ), which takes us to the place a lot of times during match days so that we can watch it together along with some Chinese food. <br/>Monchow soup here is nice and tasty to begin with. The main course at times can turn out to be a bit oily. The first time I visited the place, the rice had an excess of salt which made the experience worse. But from the second time onwards it was perfectly luscious and flavor rich. <br/>You can give it a try 👍

Ordered Friday night dinner from here. Though delivery took long, almost everything else was spot on! <br/><br/>We had ordered Schezwan Prawns & Chicken in Lemongrass and Peanut sauce as starters. Prawns and chicken were cooked perfectly. Respective sauces were also very good, especially the lemongrass one...Very unique.<br/><br/>Main course was Combination Rice, Chinese Flat noodles, Malaysian Curry Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The noodles had basil in them, which tasted surprisingly nice. It went very well with the coconut based Malaysian curry. Combination Rice was a regular decent affair, nothing much to write about. Sweet and Sour was disappointing as it was only sweet, could've been had as dessert.. Lol!<br/><br/>They have different options compared to your regular next door Chinese food joint. And those options did not disappoint. <br/><br/>Kudos to the chef.

One of my go to places in thane for Desi Chinese for a long time now. The menu is simple and so is the ambience. Food quality is good. Quantity is very generous and is easy on the pocket. I tried the Hot n Sour soup and The hong kong rice, both veg. The soup was upto the mark but the rice was a little bland and lacked spicyness. Everything was going good when i spotted a lizard on the wall just near the wall mounted T.v. I dint say anything since i didn't want my friend to freak out in the middle of the dinner. <br/>Could have happily rated 4 but the Lizard sucked your 1 star. <br/>Note to the management: Pest control every 2 weeks would be a good investment considering the location of the restaurant and the surrounding.

If you really think about it, living life as a Bachelor is not really easy. Especially if you're in Thane (Let's face it, Majiwada is not really Cuffe Parade now, is it?)<br/>One of the biggest challenges of living this way would be affording real good food. Today was the second time in a month that they made a goofup in the home delivery. Fried noodles were missing. As usual. The delivery boy says that the fault is from the kitchen staff. When I asked for the manager's number, he said that manager gaaon gaya hai. And the food was pretty sad too.

Earlier desire was the only source of good chinese food for me, i used to hv parcel & also been there for dinin couple of times<br/>The service is super fast & taste is upto the mark <br/>its pricing is also pocket friendly<br/>but recently other chinese joints have raised the standards of chinese cuisine to a different level, i wish management of Desire should also keep n eye on their competitors if they want to b in the market<br/>I used to recomend this joint to every1 but being a true foodie i cant do so now as there are other better chinese joints in the area as well.<br/>So desire managment pls take a call asap.<br/>

Although my friend vouched that the extra cost was worth it, I never expected such huge portions, something Desire does well. The noodles were not typically over-spiced but rather perfectly done. The soup was the ideal foil to it, being rich in both taste and texture. <br/><br/>Despite being just two dishes, we ended up with full stomachs. Its always pleasant when you see that a place delivers on the extra charge. <br/><br/>Regarding ambience, I can't say much since I haven't dined at the place itself, but it seems fairly spacious enough for a small meal for 2-4 people, with about 4-6 tables in the entirety of the restaurant. Not meant for large groups but that's excused given the supreme quality of the food. Kudos!

I have now ordered from this place a couple of more times and the dishes ordered were not up to the mark. I have put a quick review of the same at the end.<br/><br/>I usually order rice whenever I am making any Chinese starters.<br/>This review is only for the rice options that I have tried from desire on their take outs.<br/><br/>Yamin rice : comes with gravy mixed and Manchurian balls.<br/>Rating 3.5<br/><br/>Chefs special rice : its primarily a subtle schezwan rice with heaps of mushrooms, eggs and small portion of chicken. This was my favourite. Its packed with flavour.<br/>Rating 4.5<br/><br/>Korean Rice : this is not your typical Chinese. Its more of a long grain rice mixed with green gravy. I found it OK<br/>Rating 3<br/><br/>Ambience and service : its a small joint but as I have never eaten at the joint - I will not comment<br/>Rating : NA<br/><br/>Cost : the portions are huge. 2 portions of rice could serve between 5 to 6 people easily. Its value for money<br/>Rating 4<br/><br/>2nd order<br/>Mushroom chilly - we were told that the it would be semi dry but it wasn't the case. The dish had a burnt smell and you could not taste the mushrooms. Was very dry<br/>Rating. 1.5<br/><br/>They have increased the price which also pulls them down on the money for value scale.<br/><br/>Update May 2017<br/>Ordered the pepper chicken, fried rice and haka noodles<br/>The paka noodles was ok but the pepper chicken was outstanding. Increasing the overall rating to 3.5<br/><br/>Overall Rating 3.5

Just another casual takeaway order from desire. We ordered for a hot fried noodles (flat noodles). The order taker asked for the level of spiciness to which we said ‘medium’, little did I know that desire's medium was comparable to mamledar's double spicy. When we had the first bite of the noodles, we couldn't have another. It was as if we were breathing fire and the buzz of the beers we already had was instantly gone. We called the order taker to complaint, but he said that that's how it's supposed to be, tasteless and spicy. He also added that you were far away and we can't replace your order, why take the order in the first place? The delivery boy was extremely frustrated with his job and kept saying he had many more orders to deliver. Also he wasn't carrying change for 500. We have to call our bosses to take leave 2mrw because of instant stomach upsets.

One of my favourite chinese restaurant. They present you a good quantity of food without compensating with the taste and quality. The location is lil aloof. But who cares when the food is great. I will surely recommend it.

Damn good restaurant! A little space crunch and also the location is not great. I order from the them most of the time. The food is excellent! Finally a good, pocket friendly Chinese restaurant in Thane. Order almost anything.. You won't be disappointed. Also the staff is very friendly.

Yesterday v tried chilly paneer , fried rice, hakka noodels n hot garlic vege....Yummy food vd gud quantity...thumbs up to dem....jst need to work on timely delivery... Gud luck guys
