Review Fast Food Buffet Restaurant - Thane

VISHAL K
Very good veg thali restaurant in Thane. All dishes were tasty. Less crowded due to high pricing (Rs 650 pp) is a blessing in disguise. Hospitality is top notch. Service is very fast. Hygiene and cleanliness maintained very well. Parking available at basement for free. You need to park the car in squeezed area during parking since space is limited.

Excellent Thali! The taste and quality of all the items was absolutely bang on! There was a huge rush being Diwali holidays yet we got a table after about a waiting of only around 15mins. Good arrangements for waiting as well. The service is lovely and quick. Food is served hot & fresh.

A perfect place for a family function. The services provided by the hotel are very good. The staff is also well behaved. The decorations for the function were well managed. The hall provided by the hotel are spacious.

This is very famous restaurant in Thane and surrounding area, serving full meal thali. The rates are higher, but taste is awesome. Plenty of food is available and people not able to consume it fully waste the food. Service is quick and ambience is nice.

A restaurant located on 3rd floor of TipTop Plaza. It is near Teen Hath Naka and serves Thali. Valet parking is available and it is such a convenience. Talking about food, it is absolutely Good and tasty. We were served with several delicacies and each one of them had great taste. The service was fairly fast. The restaurant and its signature Thali is popular and it attracts sizeable amount of crowd especially on weekends. If one wants to visit the restaurant, you should be early bird and then you will get the seat. A nice restaurant to visit with family and friends. They serve Full Thali as well as a Thali for kids below 10 years. Prices of the Thali are high. Still a place worth of visit if you are a Thali person.

With my family we ordered the famous Amras Thali in Tip-Top plaza. It was very delicious. Though being a crowded place very well managed. A great place for one kind of buffet lunch/dinner with family at very reasonable cost. They have a Valet parking service available, so you enjoy your food peacefully while your car safely parked. It’s kind of a pre-pay food, you need to mention number of members with you and they charge you as per the decided rate for the day for that particular menu. Overall a very decent experience with ambience, food & hospitality. Food is typically if Gujarat origin so not that spicy. Don’t miss your welcome drink available at the entrance. Enjoy your food, do like my review if helpful. 😊

Delicious food and excellent service Had been planning for a while now, and we (family) finally were at Tip Top Grand Thali Restaurant. Parking was easy and well guided. Table allocation was quick and the thali was in front of us. Food items started pouring in one by one as they would name the dish and then serve it with approval. For starters, this was the best Hara bhara kebab we have had, masaledar papad with peanuts was yummy snack. Hot puris, phulkas, roti were excellent with aloo, paneer and the matki usal. The semi-sweet kadi, dahi vada, and dal were yum too. Solkadi and chaas was ok (have tasted better ones). Pulav, and plain rice served with dal and ghee was superb. Then the finale - rasgulla with something like rabadi, malai sandwich were yummy. Overall ambience was good and service by the staff was warm. Would really recommend this place for a yummy and memorable vegetarian food time with family.

Overwhelming Joy! Yes it is. Everything in platter looks mesmerizing and unavoidable. Brilliant place to dine in if you looking for an authentic and traditional experience. I paid my bill worry INR 630 all inclusive but is it worth? Let's check it out. I dined @hoteltiptopplaza more than 10 times after my first collaboration. But I paid my own bills everytime before arriving at this review. Located at Thane West, Extern Express Highway a few minutes away from Korum Mall. Tip top plaza is a famous spot for conducting any events whether it's small size or big fat weddings. They also have a glorious sweet shop under their own Brand name on ground floor serving lot of varieties and seasonal sweet dishes. Obviously I headed to the Thali Restaurant on 3rd Floor. Something which I am always excited for. Sprawling space, easily accommodates large groups also. You see staff will welcome you with smile and welcome drink also. Pani Puri counter is at entrance. If you love to start eating on tongue twisting note. The quality is phenomenal. Undhiyo was outstanding and didn't feel dry at all. Matki Usal had a Maharashtrian flavor. Extra Farsan was served and I feel I am getting addicted to Cheese Balls. Roti was hot as was Puri and Paratha. My focus was on Puri more. Meetha Dal was alluring and home style. Kadhi Khichadi is a winning combination. Thali is huge and below was the spread from start to finish. Kokam Sharbar had a floating salted boondi taste best along with Chaas to cool you down. Dahi Vada, Corn Tikki, Kaman Dhokla, Veg Cigar Roll, Paneer Pocket, Cheese Spinach Corn Ball In Mains - Unavoidable Surti Undhiyo, Mutter Paneer, Matki Usal, Aloo Tamatar Rassa, Dal, Kadhi, Fulka Roti, Puri, Paratha Grand Finale - Gajar Halwa, Mali Sandwich, Basundi, Rose Roasted Halwa, Akhrot Halwa. Last couple of desserts served extra to take me on next level of ecstacy. I will personally recommend you to try and taste everything (ofcourse looking at your diet and sugar restrictions) and you won't go wrong with any choice. Staff is absolutely hospitable. Didn't find any lags in services. Absolutely Overwhelmed with Joy and Happiness.

Used to be 5/5 but now number of items in the thali have been drastically reduced whereas the price has increased

The food was excellent. But the servers serve food very fast and give less time to enjoy your meal.

Awesome place for family get together nice thali dishes and excellent staff ambience good place for dinner parties and nice deserts served in buffet...

The chutney was the best.<br/>Pavbhaji was perfectly tasty with proper spice taste. The Dosas were very crispy and awesome to relish. Can't forget the schezwan rice and Manchurian. Ahh they were no 1.<br/>Pizza and pasta - 100/100.<br/>Lastly the desserts were a delightful conclusion of the dinner.<br/>Overall experience - 5/5.<br/>Ambience -5/5<br/>Taste-5/5<br/>Staff hospitality -4.5/5<br/>

This is a vegetarian restaurant in Thane and the venue seems good to host a party or a get together. The food options are pretty limited, they don't offer a wide range but the quality is good. The ambience is also very nice and decent and the pricing seems alright. So if you are fond of vegetarian food, do give it a try!!

I visited this place with a group of friends. Buffet dinner at 400 is a great deal especially because of the variety of food this place offers. In the beginning of the buffet, you'll have a variety of chaat options. Then comes a live counter where we had veg kheema with pav. Then came schezwan rice and noodles along with paneer chilli gravy. Then there were two types of different pizzas. Drinks like milkshakes and Rio were also offered. There's a pani puri counter right outside the buffet area. Then there were 4 types of desserts - mousse cake, fruit punch sweet, lachcha rabdi and american nut ice cream. I would rate the food 3.5/5, ambience 4/5 and service 4/5.

Best place in thane for thali lovers. There are variety of items available in thali than the other thalis. The food was very delicious. Though some items were not that tasty but considering overall the experience was very nice. There is also a buffet section next to thali section. The buffet section is not that good. The food is also not that tasty as compared to what they offer in thali section. For ambience and management full marks. But the rates are bit too high.

The Best Veg thali place you can ask for.<br/>Quantity and Quality are the Best..<br/>Keep place for dessert. <br/>Buttermilk must try..<br/>You will never be disappointed. Friendly staff..

== Grand Thali Experience ==<br/>Like unlimited veg thali restaurants, this is one of them. Average food taste with liberty of unlimited quantity is sometimes better if you are in group or having occasional family lunch. If you are looking for taste, you need to search other places but again you can give it a try.<br/><br/>My ratings<br/>Food : 7<br/>Ambience : 8<br/>Taste : 6<br/>Location : 8<br/>Value for money : 7<br/><br/>Overall, worth a shot..!

Location /area : in between Thane and mulund... Just call out this outlet's name and the person will drop you.. It is that famous....<br/>Staff : very much attentive and disciplined... Thank you for the arrangement....<br/>Food: the outlet is divided into two sections : thali and buffet..... If you are confused, you don't need to be because whatever you choose is the best here... I tried buffet and was surprised to see so many families walked in to enjoy the cuisine.... They have something for Chinese lovers, Italian lovers and Desi lovers.... Find out the pics of items they serve to know more... Happy eating....

The customer service is very very bad here, the ac wasn't working and it is summer right now, they made us wait for 15 20 mins despite the other section being completely empty by giving an excuse that serving is difficult whereas there is way connected to both the sections, they wanted to make us sit near a noisy exhaust fan and refused to be courteous to our needs. There was no manager and there were only excuses from their end. They refuse to curtail to their customers despite paying 540/- per head whereas here it is listed it's 450/- extremely extremely disappointed.

It’s a nice joint in northern suburbs for Thali eaters, especially for the vegetarians. So much variety, right from the start , you are served appetisers, then salads , then the food riot starts, with fats an, sweets, pizzas , parathas , and as many as 5 sweets, etc... highlights were 4 varieties of Dahi Wada , chocolate, mango, kesar and normal. And to end masala khichadi, worth a mention. Full value for money and nice and polite staff. Will visit again. We had a special guest , you can check it in the pic and he enjoyed the most....

Tip Top Plaza is superb place.Buffet was outstanding.I love this place.I always go there for the dinner. The service was great.I really enjoy the food & drinks.
Misal Anand
The experience is below average considering the effort that is being put by other restaurants in Thane and Mumbai. Cutlery was not upto the mark. Some items in menu which should have been served hot were lying cold. Seating was not being managed properly by the staff and got haphazard when crowd increased. Only the starters were good
Falguni Trivedi
Food taste isn't upto the mark, there are many things but nothing is like wow, all food average or below, also it seems Pastries & sweets are stale. Tip top Pav bhaji taste is good, but paying Rs 400 for Pav bhaji isn't worth it. Instead better visit a restaurant with Ala Carte Menu & order favourite & best items, there is freshness, and that's where buffet restaurants lack.
Yogita Khairnar
Tip top plaza one of the best restaurant for veg people. Multi cuisine buffet has excellent menus with many varieties. Pizza, Pasta, tacos, Pav bhaji, Dosa, Thai fried rice, chat item, pani puri, mini vada, crispy veg and lots of desert items like pastry, gulab jamin, orange rasmalai , ice cream n many more with fresh juices all items are excellent . My kids too liked it...<br/>Visited many times and Will definitely visit again .
Amey Gazinkar
The rate has reduced.Rs.399 for adults and Rs.299 for kids. The variety offered at such low rates is just amazing.Has been my favorite bufft place to visit with my family. The quality hasn't reduced either.

If you are really hungry and want to eat chat like anything. This is the best place to be. Had awesome time eating different types of chat, pizza, desert. After having nearly 12 items, i had to stop :D

Have been here a couple of times, Sundays are usually crowded and the wait time goes till an hour if you are with family. Thali is yummy, the quantity is worth the penny!

Unlimited fast food , varied cuisine, great taste , new items added regularly , innovative touch to desi food .Need more reasons? All these plus hygienic fast-food and unlimited desserts and mocktails just for ₹450 per person all week between 7:30pm-11:30pm.<br/>The menu goes as-chat items like pani puri ,dahi puri ,sev puri, pav bahji, dosa as you like, pasta customisable, pizza customisable,Chinese rice & gravy & noodles ,biryani, chole puri. For desserts 2-3 flavours of pastry,2 options in ice cream scoop, one Indian dessert like gulab jamun, rasgulla, gulkand halwa or akhrot halwa and if you are lucky enough you might even end up having waffles or chocolate fudge or mousse 😍<br/>The rotating menu includes rajbhog chat, rajasthani shahi chat, chinese soup, mexican wrap, panini, tacos, chinese starter item like veg crispy or manchurian, exotic garlic bread, nachos, mini samosa's,dabeli served with innovative presentation,Chinese rolls and many more. They also have assorted drinks. <br/>This is the best goto place when you are craving too many fast food item.A ideal spot for health freaks for a perfect cheat day as the place is hygienic and serves a lot of options to satiate the food cravings.<br/>

Been here many times, Food is good and served quick and fresh, In their Thalis, I have loved Hakka noodles and the starters. Paani puri served in the stall is also quite good. However I feel the quality is slightly getting slightdegraded in this few months. Food is slightly overpriced. <br/><br/>Hope to see some improvement.
Kpp Kpp
Food is superb<br/>Ambience is OK OK<br/>What's pathetic is the waiting time...if u come here on weekends 100% sure u have to wait 45-60min minimum.
Varun Phatak
Taste wise it is nice. All items in the buffet menu are good. Self Service as one has to go and get the food from the counters. But according to the money and being a complete vegetarian buffet, and with not a lot of variety compared to the price , the prices are costly. Ambience is good.<br/>Food-8/10<br/>Service-0/10(self service)<br/>Ambience-8/10<br/>Value for money-7/10

Tip top plaza - I had visited this place recently for a buffet and must say, it has amazing variety of dishes for serving in buffet.<br/>Pizza, noodles, pav bhaji, kutlets and what not. Deserts with perfect amount of sweetness such as small pastries which are bite size, fruit phirni, etc is delicious<br/>Talking about the ambience, perfect seating arrangement and fine dining. Different counters for different meals. <br/>As the name, so the food - totally tip top 😉<br/>And the best part, I had this buffet in a week day for just 399/- and the food was unlimited. Yess, enjoy and eat as much as you can 😍😍

Again a Nice option for Foodies and that too thali's lovers.🥘🍲🥗.!!! At the entrance, they have put golguppa's counter to kill the wait time and gulp Golgappa🥚 with tasty panipuri..😍 and after that when you grab a table, the staff will kill you by feeding you with there vast varieties of dishes ( Chaat, Manchurian, noodles, pizza, daal bati, dahi pokri, baked etc etc....) <br/>Foodies like me should go when you crave for delicious food in weekdays..<br/>Food quality 3.5/5<br/>Staff and service 5/5😎<br/>Pocket friendly 3.5/5

Decent place, good service and good food!!<br/>Too many varieties and it's Unlimited!!<br/>Didn't really like the pizza, manchurian gravy and the cutlet<br/>Loved the pasta, paneer sabji, masala chaas and masala dal khuchadi! <br/>

The review was pending for long time. Finally got time to upload it today. <br/>Went there for a buffet dinner on weekend, n it was crowded (obviously). This is situated in the third floor along with the thali restaurant, parking space is ample. Didn't had to wait for long as we were just two persons. Staff is courteous n keeps refilling water, tissues etc wherever required. <br/>The spread: Pani puri/ dahi puri counter is good, it's strategically placed before the entrance so that you can kill the wait time while gulping down puris 😝 Inside the room there is Chat counter serving bhelpuri/ sev puri with your selected toppings, samosa chat, dabeli, nachos with cheese sauce, pav bhaji,Noodles, Manchurian, fried rice, dosa, pizza, pasta, counters are placed one by one. There is a mocktail counter after this which I felt should be there after entrance, desserts were chocolate fudge, butterscotch pastry, vanila pastry and ice cream with chocolate sauce.<br/><br/>The food: Reviewing stuff we had<br/>Moctail: ok ok<br/>Sev puri: Good<br/>Dabeli: Ok-ok<br/>Nachos:BAD not properly baked/ cooked. cheese sauce too not tasty.<br/>Noodles: Perfectly cooked<br/>Manchurian: yummy<br/>Pasta: Had Macroni in white sauce ok ok types<br/>Pizza : too good<br/>Pav bhaji: Good <br/>Pastry: yummy<br/>Fudge: loved it<br/>Ice cream : who doesn't loves this 😍<br/><br/>We were too full to try the dosa n fried rice but people were relishing the dosa guess it was also good.<br/><br/>Verdict: Food is good and tasty but we were expecting a few main course dishes too,may be a counter serving naan/parathha and sabzi would be cool. Although after having these snacks there may be very little/ no space left. <br/><br/>Would come again : DEFINITELY
Yummy Food
I have been here more than 7 times with family. One of the best thali I ever had.<br/>Staff and hospitality is really good.<br/><br/>Food is excellent with lot of options of sabji, sweets, phulke, starters, etc.<br/>It feels keep on eating tasty food.<br/><br/>Here menu keeps changing which makes you to come again. In summer season you will get amras which is dam amazing tasty.<br/><br/>Best thali food ever .... :)
Prachi Bhagat
Had buffet here last night. <br/>It was loaded with soda in the food, which caused trouble to the entire family. <br/>variety n taste was not atall upto the mark. worst experience ever. Loss of money and health. <br/>Please do not have the buffet here
Siddharth
Good lunch buffet, good ambience, great place for vegetarians, quite crowded. Don't expect to brunch here. There are some dishes that are great and some not-so-great.

@It nice buffet as per money. Staff is not as professional and buffet actually start at 8.00 pm and start there is not available any item you need to wait till they prepare.

Good spread was served. The addition of Italian into Gujarati thali was unique and taste wise also was at par. The staff was nice and warm. The overall experience was worth the money

This restaurant needs no introduction, known for its buffet of thali, it has along waiting list whenever we go and the unlimited supply of thali is awesome with great service, must visit if ur in Thane and a vegetarian.

I had Multi cuisine buffet food there for 2 times.<br/>Really disgusting service by staff and the food is hardly eatable. Would never ever revisit even if free of cost!

Be it the Room order or the guest dine-in space, the food is just mesmerizing. With a plethora of items to choose from, you're just confused as to which one to take in. Excellent Ambience and hospitality. Way too good. A premium option to spend time with your loved ones. Thank you @TipTopPlaza!

In tip top we chose multi cuisine buffet option. It consist of 2 soups, 1 starter. Starter and soups are just amazing. On that day they are also serving varieties of dahi vada(Mango and strawberry). There are 3 types of desserts:- mirchi, gajar and dudhi halwa.Overall it was a good experience.

Had been to Tip Top to have it's legendary thali on my birthday. My wife wanted to dine here for a long time. Found it a very average kind of place. Probably samrat has set a standard that I keep comparing with.

I've eaten here so often that when I say Veg buffet this is the place we think of. The atmosphere is very nice, especially for a buffet. The food choices are numerous. The food quality is decent, and a great value for your money. The wait staff are also very good. They are quick to replace items that run out on the buffet but it's never a problem as there is so much to choose from. They have a lot of starter choices and it's not cheap imitation stuff. I highly recommend eating here especially if you want to get a lot of variety of starters main course dessert as well as chaas .. it provides traditional gujrati cuisine with a blend of other items ..

If you havent already known the craze for Food a Gujarati shares, Tip Top is the Place to be! What a great variety in their buffet! They run the place efficiently and it is very clean. Maybe if space was well managed, the overall experience will become great. Keep it up! I give them a 3.5/5
Nittin Singla
Went there for a multi cuisine dinner. The pizza, pani puri and dosa were good. Chinese was not that tasty. There was only option in main course, which I didn't like. Deserts were ok.

It's a fine buffet hotel in Wagle Industrial Estate near Teen Hath Naka, Thane. I went here for their unlimited lunch buffet on Thursday. From welcome drinks to main course and desert, food was pleasantly delicious. Service is quick and apt. I really liked Tirangi Gujarati Dhokla, sweet kadhi and Basundi. However, i found 490 bucks for this Thali a bit over priced as compared to other Thali banquets in Thane like panchwati and Rajdhani. Overall the experience was very good, worth visiting with friends and family.

We had visited Tip top Grand Thali for family dinner on the new year eve.<br/>Good interior, good hospitality, courteous staffs, Good food with less spices (every thing was good from starter to main course to sweets), overall good place for a family dinner. Well maintained ambience, mouth watering dishes. They start with mouth watering pani puri ! Buffet Menu consist of Mixed Indian flavors.  As a starter they gave us Jal jeera, Pizza and Pasta, Dhokala, Noodles, Veg Rolls, Manchurian etc. these were really nice! The Lunch is 4 Vegetables, Kadhi, 3 sweets, 2 Dal, Rice, Achhar, Chatni, Papad, Phulka, Puri, Salad, Khichadi, Ghee  & many more.<br/>Ambiance is good. Food is value for money. I would say you should visit here once :)<br/>Recommended for family outdoor lunch or treating group of friends or office team.👍👍👍<br/><br/><br/>

I stayed in Tip Top plaza hotel for a week and based on feedback from colleagues I had lunch and dinner there for 4 days in a row. Thali is really great. It's in Gujarati style. No waiting at all for any dish, waiters are happy to serve you. All items are very tasty. Ambiance is ok. Price is little high.
Vatsal Salot
We had a family event at the buffet section. There were many Jain food eaters and they were catered for adequately. However, selection in general was poor for a buffet. Not much choice. Their pizza and pasta was really good and the pani puri but otherwise the food was rather disappointing. Can't say I'll be going back anytime soon

I had heard a lot about this place . I am a non vegetarian but I like veg food too so I decided to visit this place . I had tried Barbeque Nation and Bombay Barbeque buffet earlier so I was really very disappointed by Tip Top Plaza . They dont have much variety and taste is also not that good , some things were very salty . Finding mushrooms in a mushroom pizza was a task . There desserts were very bad , Ice cream was all melted and the pastries were average. Pepper corn rice was very tasteless .Only there Red pasta was good , white pasta was tasteless . Over all plz dont waste your money here , instead try Barbeque Nations veg buffet .

Go for the multi cuisne buffet and even gujrati thali is good. You can have a birthday party or any other functions at a reasonable price. It is a feast for vegatarians ans the food Quality is also good.

We have been visiting the Tip Top Buffet section quite frequently now....it's always been a pleasant experience...the thing that stands out is the ambience and the variety of items in the buffet...it's multi-cuisine is tantalising to the taste buds.....it's not only Indian but also Chinese, Mexican, Italian etc...All in all a must visit!!!
THE BAKASUR
Tip Top Plaza – a restaurant that serves rajasthani and gujrati cuisine thali, which is basically all you can eat menu consisting of a amalgamation of different variety of dishes from the cuisine, from starters to desserts. A perfect place for a family lunch or dinner or a family get together. This place is situated near Eternity Mall, Panch Pakhadi. The restaurant also has parking available however its generally full on weekends, so u might need to park on the road. The dining area is on the 3rd floor. Its a veg food restaurant.<br/><br/>We visited this place on Sunday afternoon, so it was quite crowded. We had to wait for 10 – 15 mins before we got a table for us. The staff was very courteous and offered us water while we were seated in the waiting area. The restaurant has a huge dining area, which allows them to cater to huge crowds at a time. <br/><br/>After settling down, the food started pouring in. The farsan consisted of veg pakoda – fried pakoda with vegetables inside, khaman – good, papad chat and boiled matki. They also had dahi wada and veg pizza in the starters.<br/><br/>The vegetables included – paneer dewani handi, undyo, aloo mutter. All the vegetables were amazing, with undyo being spot on. The Dal and kadhi were of two styles, one sweet and one non sweet, with the sweet kadhi and dal belonging to the gujju cuisine. I could just eat the kadhi and dal without requiring anything else. In breads, they served phulka, bhakri and puri. The phulka’s are drenched in ghee and served hot, so you end up eating quite a lot than you should. To end the mains, we could choose from steamed rice, veg pulao and khichadi. <br/><br/>Since it was a Sunday, there were ample sweets. It included rabdi, gulab jamun, rasmalai and my favourite of the lot was a Bengali mithai with kiwi. The sweets were really amazing.<br/><br/>Also to help you gobble down all the food, they keep on serving you Jaljera water and chass, to increase you apetite and also help digest such huge amount of food. Unlike some other thali eateries, there were no restrictions on the servings.<br/><br/>A perfect place to go nuts and eat all you want as after the meal you are definitely going to need a nap. <br/><br/>Note:<br/><br/>1) Cost for 2 people - ₹900 (each thali is for Rs. 450)<br/><br/>2) The place is crowded on weekends, so waiting time of 10 - 15 mins should be considered.<br/><br/>Cheers!

My mom had heard good things about this place and that’s why we decided to check it out for lunch. The hotel makes a good first impression. The thaali restaurant has a good ambience as it was almost like a spacious hall, brightly lit. <br/><br/>The food was great. Their bhaajis were ok-ok, the desserts were brilliant. What I loved was the fact that they served pizza, cheese balls and juice too. In all, a lot variety to be filled in the huge plates. We ate at our own pace and I finished almost everything. Though I was too full to have different types of khichdi and rice.<br/><br/>The staff was welcoming, prompt and helpful. In total the meal for costed us 1400-something which I felt was value for money. Surprisingly, it wasn’t really crowded despite it being a Saturday. <br/><br/>My tip would be to not go for the regular paneer, aloo etc bhaajis. Ask them properly and let them serve only the lesser known dishes. <br/><br/>The thaali was huge, overwhelming yet absolutely delicious. Loved the food here!

The place is crowded even though we went on Wed night  which is quite surprising. The snacks buffet section seems to be more popular than the thali section. We had to wait for our turn for 30 minutes.<br/><br/>Regarding the food, the veg crispy was soggy and not that tasty. The chat item with paneer was pathetic to say the least. The most crowded counters were Dosa and Pasta which were really good in taster and people were making multiple rounds there.<br/><br/>The drinks were ordinary aerated drinks. The pav bhaji was good. However the Mixed veg and the rice were not up to the mark. They don't seem to pay more attention to this since people are giving more attention to the snacks rather than having a normal meal here.<br/>The panipuri section is crowded. Although the taste is good, you will get bored to stand for 15 minutes for your turn to come up.<br/>The sweets pastry, ice cream are good. <br/>Overall it is the variety and range of items which attracts the crowd rather than the quality of the food. They need to seriously improve it .

Worst experience ever. They dont have any customer <br/>Management approach . First of all they bill you before they give you acess to the buffet section <br/>Then they make you wait for an hour minimum . On top of it they are very arrogant misbehaving and mannerless. Worst evening ever!!

Went for the multi cuisine buffet,<br/>The place is amazing usually quiet and has a great atmosphere.<br/>Coming over to the food : started of with pani puri it is tasty same like homely prepared one.<br/>Then coming to the buffet you have 2 starters, sevpuri and a mini samosa that is okok. Then pav bhaji which is also good.<br/>U have 1 dish for main course and kulcha or roti <br/>Then in the rice section thai rice with a thai curry it is tasty compared to all those stated before.<br/>Then you have pasta (both red and white sauce) both are awesome freshly made.<br/>Next is pizza, the pizza is the thing. When you go for unlimited stuff the pizza is not usually good but this is the best one among all the others.<br/>Acc to the taste :<br/>1. Pizza <br/>2. Pasta <br/>3. Thai rice <br/>4. Pavbhaji <br/>Also you get two types of drinks that are also goood.<br/>Desert section they have small small pastries and one icecream <br/>Overall value for money<br/>Staff :7/10<br/>Food :8.5/10<br/>Ambience :8/10<br/>Cleaning :7/10<br/><br/><br/><br/>

I am basically a thali buff and this place offers you a great food. May it be farsan, vegetables, dal, rotis, its perfectly home like. The khichdi with ghee on top of it is superb. The staff takes care of you as if you are visiting a home. They can go an extra step to make you comfortable. I remember, once my toddler son wanted to have pasta, which was not on their day's menu then. The bearers found out that it was in the buffet section. One of them went and specially fetched it for my son. I was impressed. Have been there several times and its value for money.

Visit this place only when you are totally famished & are able to literally hoard food :) <br/><br/>A place with a huge variety of dishes, Comfortable seating & a courteous staff.<br/><br/>Dishes are well prepared & are very tasty. It is interesting to see how the waiters communicate with each other for the dishes which you request them to serve.<br/><br/>It looks little odd that all the plates are already placed on the tables so sometimes you find layer of dust on them. Hence before you start to receive the food; just check & ensure that the plates are clean.<br/><br/>In case you do ask the staff to replace they are quick to do so.<br/><br/>Overall a pleasure to visit.

I hate it when somebody spoils a Saturday night.. And their food not only spoilt the night.. It even spoilt the Sunday morning. The food was sad and buffet menu failed to deliver the taste and class the menu card had promised. Barring the paani puri and cheese paratha, everything was below average. I can get better tasting food at a dhaba. These guys are gujarati food specialists and .. they should stick to gujarati food only, probably that would be good. Don't go on the big name guys.. they are not going by it themselves. My such low rating is mostly because of a low value for money.

We decided to visit the place thanx to zomato reviews. When we reached the place at 1900h expecting rush hours due to it being Saturday, we were in fact the first ones to arrive. We had tried contacting them for reservations, but they said they did not undertake any and it was first come first serve based. It is 2100h now and I'm already done reviewing... On a Saturday night! Says a lot about what is to be expected in coming paragraphs!<br/>The buffet/thali starts at 1930h but here it was no where before 1950h. We had two options thali or buffet. I had tried the thali before so we decided to go for the buffet. It was priced at ₹400 incl of taxes.<br/>The buffet consisted of 2 drinks... Black cat and blue something... Best not had.. It was basically aerated drink mixed with blue Curacao!<br/>There was pani puri counter... Tasted fine..<br/>Then there was some Chinese soup served in cutting chai glass, Chinese dosa, cheeze parantha, pasta of Ur choice, dum aloo, barbeque pizza, chocolate well, chocolate kulcha, pastries, Chinese fried rice, Gobi Manchurian and aamras. Oh and the chewy, soggy so called crispy veggies and mix pakoras, drenched in a pool of oil!<br/>Except the aamras and cheese parantha, everything else was a disappointment. If u charge ₹400 for the buffet, u expect that kind of quality! The aamras was no Alphonso, the chocolate was just a diluted sauce, sum aloo had lot of elaichi, pizza was only cheese.. Hardly any BBQ. I barely got thru the entire course.<br/>Overall... A disappointment. A below average experience. I thought since I was a non veg, I thought it was so.. But my friend who is a vegetarian, considered this a sheer waste of money. Apart from the ambience, nothing to take back home! Not going to this place again!

When one visits a thali one wishes to enjoy the dining experience. This last Sunday was a fast eat drink move thing ( well nobody asks you to leave, all I want to say is, that their staff somewhat looses attention after first round of serving)<br/>I didn't like the combinations within thali. Cheese and dahi is awkward and will make anyone's stomach upset. Didn't like the vegetable curries. The taste wasn't for my liking. In sweets rabri n aamras was an off pairing according to me. Didn't eat much n yet felt weird in stomach.

Presenting super value for money, Tip Top has two options - Enjoying Gujarati/Rajasthani Thali or a Multi Cuisine Buffet having several choices from Chinese, Italian, South Indian to Chaat. The food is wonderful; the menu is not exotic but every food item is near perfect. Recommended for a nice family dinner

It was good... getting good buffet dinner/lunch at this price with such delicious food is rarely possible... i had a great time.. the food is cool.. the desserts were tasty .. but the pani puri,it was okay o felt it was stale... overall a good one to try on...

I am with much pain rating this once really "GRAND" thali restaurant just 2.5. Today been there with office colleagues in the afternoon to enjoy lunch thali. But was disappointed. The air-conditioner was not up to the mark. Thali has now priced at Rs. 495/-, which appears to be quite exorbitant. We were surprised to see pasta and pizza in Gujarati / Rajasthani thali. Sweet included Aamras along with apricot halwa and angur rabdi. Except halwa rest of the two sweets were nothing to mention about. Three vegetables were so-so. I had been great lover and admirer of this thali for last so many years. But today the restaurant let down. I will think twice now before visiting this place now.

It's been the worst food ever had it , the service was not good the chaiwala does the best service than them. Not so much satisfying as we think very much disappointed.

I visited TipTop Multi cuisine buffet today. Biryani wasn't there, but there were 2 different types of Rice which were good. <br/>Tip Top has still maintained the food quality at its best.<br/>Cheese Dosa was delicious. <br/>Overall a nice experience.<br/>Will visit it soon again.<br/>

Today I had my dinner and it was authentic gujrati thalli. Out of 13 items which they had served 11 where to sweet. They should keep some good option for customer who want to try salty food. Worst experience today on weekend.

I am a gujrathi so gujju food doesn't temp me but i was with family really wanted to have a proper lunch so thought of having thali as it was near to my place <br/>Let me tell you i visited this 5 times especially in summers...<br/>Staff: treats you like loyal, the managers greats you, polite ppl with a dress code and trust me staff itself treats you like you have visited just to receiving all that pampering 4.5/5<br/><br/>Ambience: authentic full of lights comfortable seatings,u get sofas n comfy chairs 4/5<br/><br/>Price:5/5<br/><br/>Food: the main part ....<br/>*3 welcome drinks juices like watermelon juice, pomegranate juice, chaas, lassi, sherbat.i hate sherbats <br/>Salad: onions and tomatoes, cucumber, mayo pasta salad<br/>* starters: pizza wedges, dokhlas, cutlet, samosas, abd other stuffs they keeo on changing it,they also have pani puri which is a trick so you get full easily but i would suggest not to have pani puri before or after the meal though its delicious in taste...dun have it<br/>Main course: 3 types of indian which is puri, naan proper garam roti with ghee which is optional.<br/>5 sabzis all are mouth watering one is paneer which is damn good n rest sabziz they keep on changin like potatoes tasty gravy...i dunn like potatoes much but this chef really changed my mind it was a potato gravy with tomatoes n onions but so good.<br/>3 types of rice- jeera rice with ghee, darbari pulao with fresh fruits and normal rice <br/>2 types of khichdi which was finger licking one is saadha khichdi and other was masala khichdi cooked with tuar daal peas and beans both the khichdis are awesome as i have never thought khichdis could be delicious too<br/>2 types of daal one is gujrathi daal which is sweet and other is tikha daal which melts in your mouth easily and dahi curry which is sweet i would suggest not to try gujrathi sweet dal and dahi curry if you dont like sweets ...its too much sugary...<br/>Dessert: aam ras, moong daal shira which caramelised in ghee which tastes awesome, proper juicy gulab jamun and i bet you will eat 2 or more, and sitafal rabdi which was not that cool....very suttle taste.<br/>OVER ALL REVIEW: the food is soooooper fresh, hygienic, hot ,less amount of oil is used balanced masalas ...what i loved about this place is hygiene, ppl serve you with whole heartedly,

One of my favourite place for thali in Mumbai !<br/>The grand thali 😍 no words to describe it.<br/>The best in Thane, so is the snack buffet.<br/>Make sure you go at least once to this place if your in this area.<br/>

Visited the Tip top restaurant, was greeted by the manager with two menu cards, one for grand thali restaurant and another with a fast food buffet section. We opted for the buffet menu, which comprised of Pani Puri, sev Puri in canapes style, pasta, fried rice, Manchurian , pizza, desserts and cold drinks. The moment you start your gastronomic tour, you spot the unavoidable unlimited Pani Puri section, that you pop in your mouth and forget that you hardly have any room for the rest of the stuff (quite strategically placed counter ), next you come across a Hall with counters of different delicacies, the must try are canapes Sev Puri, pizza, Chole Puri, and Pav bhaji. But the mini bowls are difficult to have bhaji from. Pasta looked great but the taste was bland, ice cream left a powdery after taste, pastries were good and so were syrup mixed cold drinks. Couldn't taste the fried rice, Manchurian as was already full ( due to Pani Puri )...With a little changes in some sections, I feel this is a great place to spoil yourself on fast food journey. A small tip is to not have Pani Puri at first, as there is always a room for it post food, but not before that. One of the pasta counter fellow needs to be a little pleasant with customers. Rest staff is great. But overall a good experience, though a little pricey as it sets you back by 800/- bucks for two. So management must reconsider the charges, as it can be expensive for groups.

Visited the restaurant after 2 years. This place is not the same what it used to be. Food quality has come down. Had to wait for dishes. Ambience has gone old, it needs an upgrade. <br/>They serve many dishes. Starters have pasta, pizza, pani puri, 2 gujarati farsan...<br/>3 vegetables, dal & variety of breads..<br/>But this all is available in other Thali restaurants as well, in a better way and with more varieties of Rajasthani & Gujarati dishes..<br/>Not a value for money anymore...

I've had the grand thali at this place on my previous visits, and I just love the gujrati food. I tried snacks buffet thia time and wasn't disappointed. The menu was loooong and each of the dish lived up to the expectations. My most favored dish was kake da pizza which was unlike the italian pizzas. This pizza was loaded with cheeze and spicy masala and was yumm. I must also mention about the pasta the chef prepared for us. I just wanted it that way. The menu included kiwi mojito, sandwiches, pav bhaji, pizzas, pastas, south indian- dosas, lasagna, bajra roti with baingan bharta, dry bhel, pani puri, cheese dosa, hyd biryani, schezwan fried rice, green veg in hot sauce and desserts. I might still have missed few dishes out. One would certainly like few dishes in the menu and stick to it. Unlike weekend crowds, the place was quieter in a weekday. One must also try the grand thali here.

This place will always be special for me as my wedding took place in tip top plaza...the buffet is our families favourite. Have been to this place endless times. The food is super awesome and the thali has amazing variety. They literary feed u.... U have to tell them will let u know if we need anything. Their service is brilliant and the food quality is the same always... The best that I like about this place is that they have maintained their standards in terms of quality service and anything that u point ur finger on to... Keep it up

The Tip Top Multi Cuisine is delightfully lip smacking. The food layout is pretty vivid and filling. You have the pani-puri ( tasted weird though) and the canopy like sev-puri(this one is pretty good) for starters. The drink of the day Guava Punch was manna for the soul.God knows how many glasses I devoured. Be it the dosa, pastas, pizza I loved it all. The biryani was a bit over spiced for some in our group, but the bell pepper rice was light and flavorful. The pav bhaji is worth trying. Though we were too full to enjoy the lacha parathas and the veggie for the day, it looked amazing. The Gulabjamun was the king here, the remaining desserts can be improved. Staff is pretty good and ambience is warm and jolly.<br/>PS: They have first come first serve service, so drop in early and devour till hungry.<br/>

The thali here claims to be grand and it is grand serving authentic gujurati food.<br/>The service is quick. Though you have to wait sometimes. Its well priced for their offering.

What strikes to your mind when you think of Grand Thali? A blend of flavours? Yummilicious desserts? Just head straight to Grand Thali @Tip top Plaza, Thane. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. I was invited by Guiltless Foodie for Thali Restaurant review. Initially, I thought I will give a miss since I am foodie I couldn’t miss out this special thali.<br/><br/>Chef Kunal introduced us to the making of Grand Thali and Owner of Tip Top Plaza , Mr.Shah graciously welcomed us and gave us insights on history of Tip top Plaza .Grand Thali is one of its kind where delicious “Fusion Thali “ is served with unlimited portions. It’s an assortment of mix snacks, starters , main course and desserts that leaves you craving for more.<br/><br/>The supper started with farsan like Cheese corn ball , kapoli wada, dahi wada, masal khaman followed by veggies like Paneer kadai, Alu palak rajwadi, Bharleli wangi, Kaju Wal,then rice and dal varieties like dal fry,Gujarati dal,Gujarati kadhi, Kesariya pulao, steam rice, plain and masala khichdi. For Indian breads, one can select from pooris, phulka, parathas .<br/><br/>Keeping in mind with our young generation, fusion mantra includes Arabiata Pasta, Veg. supreme pizza, Veggies in Green, Schezwan noodles .<br/><br/>You will notice marwari and gujarati’s cuisines lots of ghee is used. The Indian breads are dipped in desi ghee. That’s how is their speciality so weight conscious people leave your diet at home and savour this Grand thali. Some Extra spicy go for lasuni chutney and pickles. It’s a whole platter of chutneys from tangy to sweet taste .<br/><br/>Last but not the least my meal is incomplete without dessert.Save some space in your tummy for the last item on the menu : Akhrot halwa, Rabdi, hot gulab jamun, Kolkata’s favourite Rosogulla that completes the Thali . Waiters here rush to notice and refill your thali every time you’ve finished a bowl or licked off a dish unless you are tired! Try not to skip the buttermilk as it’s freshly-prepared and serves as a decent digestive along this vast dinner.

Veg served were tasteless full of only potatoes. Other items served in thali were good but thali served for Rs 447/-was too costly instead one can have all items of thali for 4 people at home. I will not go again to tip top in ny life unless there is invitation for any marriage. For maharashtrian family ,eating at tip top plaza is not enjoyable unless if one have sweet tooth.

Notwithstanding the cliched name, the place has reasonably good ambience, quick & efficient service and tasty food! Can do with some brand-building though...

One of the best buffets i had.<br/>Starting with cool drink kiwi pineapple and mix fruit punch. Both of them were perfect start after travelling in the sun.<br/>Kothimbir wadi and the surti starter roll was just awesome.<br/>Dahi wada lasun chatni and salad were add ons.<br/>Main course had paneer tikka, chana masala, aloo sabji and turya sabji.<br/>Paneer and chana masala were good but turya was ok.<br/>Dal fry and kadhi were good to top it with plain rice dal khichdi of 2 types plain and tadka.<br/>But the main cherry on the top was the desserts:- dudhi halwa, sitafhal rabdi and rasmalai were just superb and delicious.<br/>True dessert lovers will just enjoy.<br/>And in the end the masala chass in small matka was just apt to end a perfect lunch.
