If you are looking for a fine dining place......villa maya is definitely the one. I visited this place few days ago and to be honest i loved it. So so beautiful and great hospitality. They have everything in their menu including bar menu. Approximate price for two people is 1500 but worth the price because the food, the aura, the service.... everything is just great♥️ Highly recommended for couples and families.
I have to say, I was rather excited to visit this venue. It would quite possibly be the world luxury award (WLA) winning restaurant, I would have visited in Kerala.
The ambience was breath taking. A beautiful blend of old world heritage and sophistication; wonderfully paired with food prepared using modern techniques.
I had walked in to the premises in awe only to have that facade ripped wide open by the way the staff addressed us. My husband (he is Indian, I am not) has often reminded me of the cultural and linguistic barriers in India. I would like to chalk this up to that. However, I would like to point out that a restaurant that has numerous WLA, should most certainly have the best customer service... not the cold, sleepy, shoulder shrugging condescending approach that we faced. (It took them 45 mins to get us water)
I digress, the menu is plentiful. It is both exciting and familiar at the same time. The description of the dishes truly does get ones mouth salivating. My husband did point out the difference between Nirachathu and Narachathu... the former I believe means stuffed / filled and the later means gone grey / faded. I believe the later was a typo. Nevertheless, such oversights shouldn’t be expected in the menu of a WLA winner.
The food was decent but lacked the promised sophistication of the venue. The flavour was either bland or salty, making it rather unbalanced. The worst dish we experienced was the Chicken Freakazoid! That chicken was Fibrous and tougher than the beef dish we had ordered! It was over cooked to the point that the chicken didn’t know it was a chicken anymore! Having said that, the sauce of the dish was palatable and to point of being moorish.
The desert was a beautiful spectacle with the theatre of pouring the toffee caramel and the melting of the chocolate structure etc.
All in all, I have enjoyed my experience. I would willingly visit again, perhaps after a few months to check in on more items on the menu. Hopefully by that time, they would have trained their wait staff to be more engaging with the dinners, to be more attentive to their needs. I really hope these guys improve, I see a lot of potential.
Great ambiance! Truly a heritage place. The cleanliness sets an example. Staff is extremely polite and service is great not outstanding. Food has a large room for improvement. Worth one visit.
The food was different and was really good
as soon as you reach, you are astounded by the ambience beautiful gazebos, koi ponds plus the architectural marvel of a building amazes you...
the ambience here is the most striking feature about restaurant.... It shows the quality of the restaurant.... This is a fine dining please and hence it's expensive. The quality and taste of the food is awesome.... And their dessert list is a foodies must have.... It is the one of the my best and the favourite restaurant I have visited till now.. whenever I will come here I will visit this restaurant once again...

We Have been looking for a good kerala authentic restaurant in Trivandrum as we were traveling from Mumbai.. This place was the right one.. Excellent authentic food, serene ambience,
initial service experience was not to our expectations but then Mr Murali the manager and Chef Partha made it all right.
My family and I visited this place on the 1st of January to kick start the new year and also celebrate my dad’s birthday. This place is aesthetically really pleasing. We were really tempted to be seated at the patio or al fresco in presence of the fishes but gave it a pass since it was a sunny day.
They welcome you with a complimentary dish which includes a lemon amla shot and papdi chat. It was really refreshing. The dishes we ordered were-
1. Chicken makhmali
2. Gulabi tikki
3. Chicken fricassee
4. Kappa with fish curry
5. Nalli biryani
6. Coffee chocolate fudge with salted caramel sauce
7. Apple and blueberry crumble pie with vanilla ice cream
Every dish made us happy. The pineapple chutney that was served along with the starters definitely needs a special mention. Don’t give it a miss. The mutton in the biryani was so succulent, soft and falling off the bone which is the way I love it the best.
The next time I am in the city, I’ll definitely visit in the evening to dig on the outdoor experience !
Great job team villa maya !!
The ambience here is the most striking feature about restaurant. This is a fine dining place and hence it’s expensive. But the food quality and taste does not justify the price unlike other fine dining restaurants. The starters are not very tasty and the quantity is very less. But the main course dishes are amazing and authentic. I Surely recommend everyone to visit this place once, for the amazing ambience and a chance to click some nice pics.
Amazing food and decor, had wonderful experience with family ... Food is not 1000 for 2 as mentioned, cud be 1000 for one ... Must visit place.
Excellent ambience, excellent food as well very polite staff... must visit to taste some really great kerala food...
Nice place with great ambience, courteous staff and delicious food. Service can be improved. Will return if ever come back to the city.
We went to villa maya for lunch. The ambience was great and the service was brilliant. Special mention for Mr.nikhil(apologies if I'm getting the name wrong). He walked us through the menu very patiently and helped us make our choices. I'm a vegan and hence had certain restrictions. He was wonderful with understanding my requirements. He made our experience extremely enjoyable and memory. My husband loved the meal. He had this look of extreme satisfaction when he was done. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for professional and courteous staff along with a great culinary experience. Great going folks. Ofcourse i would request you to have more vegan options.
As soon as you reach, you are astounded by the ambiance... Beautiful gazebos, koi ponds plus the architectural marvel of a building amazes you... The food is as good as the beautiful surroundings... We had their signature Tender coconut broth and stuffed crab as an appetizer... Also their biryanis are flavourful and very light on the stomach... Their dessert list is a foodies must have... The staff is also very courteous... Special mention to Vishak for his incredible and patient service... A must visit to everyone who come to Trivandrum...
Villa Maya - a heritage villa turned into a restaurant - is a hidden gem. Yes, the prices are slightly on the higher side, but the taste and the aroma definitely make up for it.
Each bite, especially of the Nalli Biriyani, was packed with a variety of flavours.
Slow traditional music and the lovely outdoor seating makes it a perfect place for a day out with friends.
Excellent food, wonderful service, classy place! Slightly expensive but worth it.
Fantastic food, must try it you are in town
If you are swinging by Trivandrum or if you want to go to a fancy place for that special occasion then look no further. The ambience is 5 star and the food covers the typical malyali affair. The taste is good but tempered for the tourists palate. A must go to place overall!
Villa Maya takes fine dining to a whole different level. The ambience is to die for. It's quite unbelievable to think such a space exists among the hustle and bustle of the city. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. Great portions too. They are on the higher side of things when it comes to price but I feel it's worth to dish out a few bucks for a memorable gastronomic experience!
Had a candle light dinner for my birthday. They start off with a welcome drink and a snack followed by another drink. The welcome in itself was so great. The food is very expensive but trust me the portions are big as well, quantity with great quality. The ambiance is top notch and at the end I had a surprise cake and a nice happy birthday classical music playing orchestra to add to it.
You will not regret a single penny you spend as the quality is 100%
Also their desserts are heavenly!
Today was my first visit to Villa Maya after they changed their menu few months back. Started off with their complimentary Pani puris :D Tried the chicken fricassee, sea salt crusted fish fillet, crispy fried prawns , buffalo chicken wings and chicken pasta. All the items were cooked to perfection. The service was great too, special mention to Mr. Vishakh, who was extremely helpful and also had detailed knowledge of the food we ordered. We were there to celebrate a wedding anniversary and the special gooey chocolate cake given by VM was amazing too.
Superb place with the yummiest food. Mutton lovers do not miss the Nalli biriyani & thé pot mushroom with baked potatoes are just finger licking plus mouth watering 😋😋😋
Must visit heritage restaurant if your in Trivandrum it simply made our day,
One must visit to experience the culture & food,
Love the fish & chicken & appam. I think this place also known for candle light dinner ?
Was extremely happy as he served us Spanish Jain rice and fajitas ( they were prepared v well with rite amt of spices ) chef Parthasarthi put his heart & soul to feed us and cannot forget the tender coconut broth was smthing to die for with amazing staff and ambience .
Was looking to spend the afternoon (before I could catch my flight in the evening) and I stumbled upon Villa Maya. To tell you, I was really amazed by this place. The sheer ambience and attention to customer delight stands out for me. The outside dining area is surrounded by water with fish in it. Inside dining area also has a very premium feel to it. I ordered a north Indian Veg platter and double spice Kerala fish dish( do not remember the name, it was above the achari fish tikka). North Indian platter included breads, sweets, Dal, curry and paneer tikka. The fish dish was very well presented, extremely soft and tasty. It is a must try.
Of note, their menu is like a wooden box and opens with the background of the restaurant on the first page. However, all this premium feel in this restaurant does come at a price and here it is quite heavy on the pocket.
Lastly, do visit the washrooms as well once. You will have amazing views and experience :-p.
Value for money - 4/5 ( on the basis of ambience)
Ambience - 5/5
Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
It is a must visit when in Trivandrum.
Fellow foodies, let me introduce y'all to these aesthetic dishes displayed from Villa Maya, the restaurant which has won many notable awards globally by the Luxury restaurant awards which is indeed a commendable feat
Before I start, I'll be pointing out the dishes based on numericals from left to right. So my friend and I started off with their soups - Tom Kha Gai (1) and Nalli Shorba (2), then ordered a starter - Erachi Chuttu Idichathu (3), then moved on to the main course - Chicken Fricassee (4),
Moroccan Lamb Tagine (5) and Trio of Paneer (6). We have concluded with this due to time constraints.
Now when it comes to the price of these dishes, It is going to leave my foodies baffled. So as to justify their price, this is not your everyday casual dining spot as it provides a state of the art dining experience in Trivandrum as the set up brings out a tropical as well as a holiday vibe, so while at Villa Maya, make sure it is for a memorable occassion with your loved ones. (It has been awarded with such privileges for a reason). If you want to know about the prices, do let me know on the comments.
A top class restaurant to dine at. It's the experience of being there which matters more than the food. Services provided are top class.
Needless to say, the too class services are tagged pricey too.
Right from the front traditional porch to the 18th century heritage style ambience the experience of this place is so overwhelming that it completely leads upto the expectation of the food standard that one would desire. The service was splendid
Loved the food and the decor. Despite being a bit on the pricier end, I'd recommend for the good sized portions, amazing taste, and super friendly staff!
Best fine dine in Trivandrum. The decor and the ambience of the place left me speechless. With beautifully decorated vintage corners and statures, this place gives a royal vibe. Coming to the food, they have a variety of cuisines to offer. We started with a complimentary dish, as far as I remember it was tapioca. We opted for the Meat Loaded Pizza instead of something traditional. It was by far the tastiest I've had in Trivandrum. The amount of cheese and meat was perfect and so was the crust. The ending was even better with the Caramel-Cinnamon flavored Cheesecake. This was phenonmenally delicious and we savoured every bite of it. The quality and quantity of the food is absolutely right. Thr pocket pinch is quite high but worth every penny. A must visit IG you're in town and also makes a great place for a romantic date.
An extremely good place with great ambience and food ! Must visit in trivandrum. Will definitely recommend this to everyone. A solid 4, no doubt.
Visited this place with my family while travelling to Trivandrum. Its near the Padmanabhaswamy temple.
The ambience is amazing and the indoor space gives a vintage vibe.
I had ordered veg pasta in arrabbiata and white cream sauce, pizza, curd rice, virgin mojito and chocolate shake.
The food was delicious!!
This is the 'pocket will cry but the soul will smile' place. Me and my family went there for breakfast and since there was no menu card on Zomato, we didn't know that there wasn't any breakfast options available and not to mention that we didn't see the restaurant opening timing They served us breakfast seperately. The quality of the food is marvelous and the beautiful setting of the place just makes it only better. Hope to visit it other times when I go to Kerala.
The place is great .. We had dinner and order margarita Pizza, Fries, mutton biryani and a paneer dish. The food was delicious :) .. All the items were great in taste and presentation. They gave masala tea and a papdi chat as welcome drink (&snack) that was yummy too ... The ambiance was awesome with candles lit on the tables(out door seating). The service was bit slow(which they inform us in the beginning itself) but if you have good company you won't get bored. Very pricey ( of course not 1000 for 2 it would be around 2000 but not 1k for 2 as mentioned in Zomato).. not at all crowded...
A couple of my colleagues and I wanted to take a break after a packed day at an event in Trivandrum. Considering one of my peers' suggestion, we landed in this mesmerizing heritage place for dinner.
' Villa Maya', has a perfect blend of comfort, hygiene, and antique touch in the real sense. From wooden seating to copper and brass cutlery in which food is served, has an aesthetic touch to it. The restaurant is an 18th-century ancestral villa surrounded by lush green foliage and stretch of water filled with vibrant goldfishes. It was like a painting come alive.
We sat on the patio, well gazebos were tempting spots to sit but they were all occupied. Hence we had no other choice but to sit here and start with our dinner. Before we could pick up the menu cards, we were handed over with fresh face towels by stewards to soothe ourselves after which they took our order. Initially, We ordered for some cool refreshers, lemon ginger shots followed by this we ordered some starters which included prawn minestrone soup that was relieving in cool weather, veg platter which had paneer kebab, which was a bit bland, 'paneer trio of three' was delicious coupled with pineapple chutney, do ask for it. For the main course, we had appam and veg curry which had rich coconut milk and ended this good meal with baked yogurt.
All in all good ambiance and fresh food made our day. Taking the cost of food into consideration the place is a bit on the expensive side.
To summarise overall experience -
Service - Staff aware of good cuisines and very hospitable 5/5
Food - local, oriental, continental, etc. 4/5
Ambiance - Peaceful and rejuvenating. 5/5
We visited Villa Maya during our trip to tvm. It was our first time in tvm but we extremely with villa maya, be it the ambience the staff or the food everything was spot on. Since we visited the restaurant during lunch we decided to try their meals. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian was great, with different varieties of curries as one would find in a typical sadhya in Kerala. We would love to go back and to try their food during dinner.
Expensive. But worth the money. You enter this quaint bungalow-esque place and you get the best of modern day luxury combined with the rich old tradition. Villa Maya is green, pretty and cozy.
The only thing I ordered was Njandu Roast with rice/porrota and lentil soup. The curry was the right amount of thick and spicy and the crab was so juicy. I loved the dish. It was my first time having a crab and the staff was helpful enough to teach me how to eat one.
They started me off with a complimentary ginger mango drink and a snack. Then came my dish. Ahh! The delight that it was.
Villa Maya is a must try if you want an authentic Kerala food experience.
This is place is heavenly! Kerala cuisine is a must try here 🙂 The food, the service and the ambience is lovely.. Villa Maya Heritage is an experience in itself.. Worth every penny ❤️ Will definitely visit again when I’m in the city..
Wow place ... muss try fish prawns curd rice ..everything is so very great ... staff serves with great smile .. authentic food in every which way ...
On a recent trip to Kerala ... in the city of Trivandrum... I came across this signage... intrigued as I was but had other places to go... but it’s like the place had a spell cast and I had to come back... not only it was worth it but I have to say it’s probably one of the most beautiful places I have been in my life. The restaurant is built on a small pond with gold fishes on it and I lack the creativity in words to explain how the place looks, hopefully the pictures do some justice. @ Villa Maya #vibhorkwatra #trivandrum #villamaya #kerala #food #foodie #beautifulrestaurant #peacefulrestaurant Vibhor Kwatra
Royalty at its very best. This place is must go to grab some authentic local dishes if you want you are visiting Trivandrum. It was a mesmerizing experience for me. From the cancel lit decor to the mild smoky fragrance, it was amazing to feel. The food is tip notch. Made with pure ghee, the food tastes delicious. The desserts are amazing. You will fall in loved with the place.
If you are in Trivandrum plz make sure to visit Villa Maya... Big thumbs up to the feel, decor and ambience of the place...simply breathtaking..
We had their non veg thali...the portion sizes were just right.. food was great...all in all it was a memorable experience...next time will definitely go for their candlelight dinner experience..
It’s definitely one of the best places I have ever been to . Everything is just so amazing, the food , the ambience, the staff so cooperative and polite . Each and every dish is made with precision and performs tastes just so amazing. Everyone should definitely go here if you are in Trivandrum othouou are definitely going to miss out to great food and ambience.
A must experience while in Trivandrum. Have one of the best fish curry and kothu parotta at this beautiful heritage's place. Ofcourse don't miss out on the watalappan (Sri Lankan dessert).

When it comes to ambience its one of the best in the city... the entire arrangement radiates the aristrocratic Travancore antique looks... water based theme and lighting is also commendable... tried syrian beef fry and jamaican jerk chicken (or mexican hehehe)... the food was well presented and tasty as well... a little bit pricy than normal restaurants (we paid Rs.1600 (approx.) for two, but still if you looking for a relaxed evening with a unique dining experience for a retreat or a date or a good dinner after a couple of drinks, then Villa Maya is a good option...
One of the most amazing food and customer service on display at this lovely place ! Keep rocking guys ! If you plan to go - opt for an outdoor seating. Great ambience and very nice presentation of food makes it an awesome experience !
Amazing ambience . Its a traditional palace converted into a restaurant . Very nice to spend some quality time . Food is good but very expensive and i personally feel is very overpriced . Had their steak which was good . Service is ok . Parking is good .
Have been to this place by looking at the zomato rating and reviews and not looking at the prices. The ambience is so good with some european style of interior and the exterior is beautiful with water and greenery. Ordered Tandoori chicken platter and some grilled fish with flavored rice. The taste is very good but i feel like very expensive.
Must go place , when visiting Kovalam! After a long time found this hidden gem . Right from ambience to service , taste value of money its worth recommending . Server Hari was grt at his job . Really had a Grt time
I found this place in zomato and also heard from my sister. Wanted to visit there since then. Great ambience especially at night. We can visit on some special occasions with our loved once. It is expensive and we will end up paying for its ambience. Good food, staffs were friendly. Must visit atleast once.
Newer expected to be at a place like this. Everything was cooked perfectly. From ambience to food to service there is nothing we could not become a fan of.
I was recommended this place by a friend of mine and inspite of the fact that I was in Trivandrum for a few hours went here for dinner. I am so glad that I did that. The ambience is brilliant as you can see from the pictures. You do need to step out in the garden to get a good view of the villa. The service was brilliant and the staff are really courteous and friendly. The food was very good. Tried the chicken makhmali which was well flavoured tender and the condiments along with it were equally good. The chefs pineapple chutney is definitely with a try. Chicken curry along with a small portion of dal was equally good. Very reasonable and good value for money
If there was a glass of wine with the food I would have been in heaven.
Excellent ambience and food, courteous waiters. Great place for a quite and romantic or family reunion! I feel a little over priced hence a 4 star! But must visit!!
Great Ambience! if you plan on taking your someone on a special place this is the place. Presentation is amazing and food tastes pretty good if you order right.
This place is a very well know restaurant across India. Villa Maya was awarded the worlds most luxury themed restaurant at once. Great ambience, well maintained with flavour of Kerala. Food presentations is a treat to the eyes and their menu is definitely a treat to the Palate. Giving them a 4 star as I feel the price are exorbitant
A beautiful heritage restaurant just as the name says. It’s picturesque in the evenings. Pretty crowded on weekends , it would do you good to make a reservation before hand. Let’s come to the food now. It pretty much hit the spot. From their typical Kerala appetisers and mains to their blue berry crumble with ice cream.. everything was perfect! It’s a costly affair but with the ambience and the food.. definitely worth it.
Best North Indian food in the town so far, with an amazing ambience, especially the seating area outside. Also, valet service is very convenient. Desserts were great too; although the quantity, overall, could be increased. But in totality, the taste easily competed with best North Indian restaurants.
The first thing that you notice about this place is the decor and ambience, it's eco friendly, green, traditional and royalty.
So my rating is purely based on the place and it's decor. Also this was one of the last lunches of our vacation so we were in a happy mood and this place set the correct atmosphere.
The food is authentic South Indian and Continental so we decided to try some crab and the very talked about thali. It was not according to our palate and felt we should have stuck to something more tried and tested.
But must say the presentation of the food, water glass, menu was top-notch.
The mint and green chillie based cooler was excellent.
The service can improve a lot, specially of the folks who attend you as soon as you walk in. We had to wait and then go to the first floor while there was place at the garden area. We had repeatedly requested for a place in the tent and was told there is a one and half hour wait. So we sat in the garden area under the sun, which was pretty sultry. To our surprise within next 15 minutes one of the hut areas was vacant and was alloted to a group that came after us!! The lady in charge was clueless that we had even asked for that seat - clearly shows there was no communication on the request made between the staff. This does not leave a very good impression.
Overall nice afternoon spent. However, the pricing quoted in Zomato isn't correct as the price for 2 is way higher without any alcoholic beverage.
Visited this place on my recent visit to Trivandrum. The restaurant is in a heritage palace. The ambience is beautiful with outside as well as inside seating. The outside garden seating is the romantic kind. The service is good. Tried the below dishes :
1) Veg Minstrone Soup - Decent
2) Thai Chicken Soup - Good
3) Veg Quesadillas - Good
4) Zatar Paneer Tikka - Nice and is served with green & pineapple chutney. The pineapple chutney is worth trying😋.
5) Veg Lasagne - Good
6) Chicken Fraterria - Nice. It is basically chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce and is served with potatoes, grilled vegetables.
Overall, the place lives up to the hype specially for the ambience.
Loved the ambience. The food tasted great 😍 we did order the chocolate cake too . It's a must try 😁I personally loved the beef 😍😍😍 We did plan a birthday out there and it as big group of 20 people . Everyone had inky good things to say. Will surely dine there again 😁😁
Great place for fine dining. I loved the Sea food here and the desserts were too good. Syrian Beef was awesome. The spice box quantity was too less. And the sea food platter was also very less in quantity.
It's such a stupid act to rate a restaurant 1⭐ or 2⭐just because of it's price bracket so before judging those reviews just take a look at my pictures.
I'm a tourist here from Kolkata. I found this is a heritage restaurant and voted first in multiple categories. As you see the ambience is unparalleled & during night they do additional decoration with lamps & candles. I didn't see any Indian crowd there. Cost is I would say 1600 for 2. Given estimation of 1000 for 2 is exaggerated.
I had Syrian Platter & my friend had some paneer trio. They served us complementary snacks & drinks pre lunch. Paneer trio had rice/nan of your choice and paneer kebab, butter paneer & palak paneer. Syrian Platter had rice, 3 non veg dishes (fish, chicken, beef), fish fry, dal fry, 2 veg dishes & a curd rice. Post lunch they served us payasam, papad & chutney. Service was world class.
This place scores really high on Ambience, Service and Food. Varied options for the vegetarians . The menu is a good mix of Italian, European, North Indian cuisine and Kerala Thalis . We ordered the tomato bruschettas and the blue cheese fried mushrooms . Both were tasty. The kerala veg Thali looked and also tasted really good . The Dal Makhani (Black Dal) is the best and the most authentic one down South.
Two words : insanely overpriced!
Ambience : 4/5
Staff : 5/5

It's good to visit fr an occasion but otherwise it's simply not worth it.
One of the best restaurants in Trivandrum.
A must go place for anyone.
Tasty Kerala food and an ambiance that will make your dining an experience that you would love to remember and share.
Restaurant provides great ambience , one of the best restaurants in trivandrum to spend quality time with friends. And don't worry about the food it will be a class apart.
The rating here is very much justified.
The place has great ambiance, awsome food and friendly staff. Tried a special nariyal paani soup and its unique and tasty. Chana masala cooked in tea water for taste, was another interesting thing. So was every other thing in my order.
If you are in Trivandrum, this place is a must visit.
Oh I forgot the ambiance its awesome too. Do visit, mat be you'll find me there. Not many places in Trivandrum I have found so interesting and good with food.
One of the best restaurants I have been to. Amazing ambiance, good food, and good music. It is like heaven. We visited only during important days like anniversaries and bdays due to the huge costs. But this hotel truly represents Kerala
Great ambience... Nice and authentic food. Not spicy but good flavours.
Good spot to have a relaxed meal.
Must try the Villa Maya Blend mocktail.
This was an amazing experience for us as a whole team. We were welcomed by a charming lady who showed us our seats. While we were browsing through the menu,we had a small platter of pappad and accompaniments brought to us as a welcome gesture.
We were bowled over by the amazing ambiance that captured every bit of yester year Kerala. The grandeur of the place made us feel like royals.
We ordered lasagna, Mutton biriyani, the chef special burger and lip smacking desserts as well. A bit on the higher side, but hey ! once in a while who doesnt love some indulgence.
Wowww! What a beautiful restaurant. I would say that if you want to sit with family and friends and enjoy the local cuisine then there's no place more appropriate. My friend insisted that we go here for dinner. The best time to enjoy this atmosphere is for dinner. It's dimly lit so the ambience makes you feel like you are in heaven. I wouldn't say it's budget friendly. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The restaurant is well maintained and hygienic. It's fine dining at it's finest.. so go celebrate. Cheers 🥂
It’s a perfect Villa for a big group. We were a group of 15 people and what fun we had. It’s so beautiful and big. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous. The amenities and staff is top notch. The cook we had was brilliant too. We had a seamless 3 day stay with an amazing team of staff members.
Would definitely recommend to visit and stay
The ambience and the food is to die for! This is a fine dining restaurant with excellent outdoor seating available which you need to book in advance. The vegetarian options however are limited. We had kebabs, gnocchi and one traditional Kerala meal which all tasted great but had to wait too long for the food to arrive. This is a great place for gatherings or romantic getaways!
Nice Ambience with premium food in trivandrum. Wide varieties of dishes to explore however pricing will be based on international standards. Calm and quiet open sitting arrangements. We had Thai Soup, Kori Sukka, Hawaiian Poke Bowl, French Fries, Chocolate Shake, Lemonade & Bluepea Herbal tea.
Food : ₹₹₹₹
Food here is very expensive 🫰. Well I felt that the price to taste ratio is low. If you think half the price of food is given for ambience you enjoy they you can visit this place.
We asked for platters but it was nit available on weekdays. We tried thai chicken soup, kappa and fish, mutton biriyani, curd rice, appan and stews, dessert platter.
We really liked brownie in dessert and kappa and fish curry. Other items were okeish..
They have valet parking available.
The building is approx 200 years old. It was built as stay for servents of the king. The building is maintained well. It is a beauty to witnesses. There are lot of fishes roaming next to dining area and even in bathroom.
Very Good Ambience. Service was excellent. Food Order Manager was very courteous and humble. Waiters were quite exemplary. Dining place is a cottage in the ground floor . A lot of dining rooms. Two storey Eatery. We ordered for Mutton Stew with Appam and Tharavadu Mappas with Noodle Paratha. Both dishes are Super Tasty and Yummy.
This place got one hell of an ambiance! Great place to spend your evening with your loved ones. Atmosphere is amazing, great service as well. If you like to sit outside then you need to do the reservation otherwise the place is packed. The food is average and probably little expensive for what it is. If the taste was good then it would have been a completely different story because you don't mind paying if the food is good. But overall, this place is a must visit if you are in Trivandrum.
I loved the entire experience of fine dining. This place isn't to be missed. The food was top notch. The villa itself is iconic. The service is impeccable
I think I'm high on this restaurant's food and beauty. This 18th-century former Dutch property is expertly and tastefully converted into a restaurant. I went there late in the evening and must say that its calming effect healed my undernourished soul. In the times of creating Instagrammable places where people can come and click photos, this place maintains its old-world charm with class. The menu is expertly curated with an emphasis on Kerala cuisine, and rightly so. They welcomed us with their delicious take on aam-panna and papdi-chaat. For the mains, we ordered pot-cooked chicken with shallots and Malabar parotta, and it was finger-licking good. We didn't have space for dessert, but we were happy to see their end-your-meal-on-a-happy-note watermelon pieces with drops of lemon squeezed onto them. The food bill was approximately 1300, but that was because we weren’t too hungry. It’s a bit on the expensive side, so make your decision accordingly. We never wanted to leave the place, but we had to.
P.S. Don't forget to pay a visit to their washrooms.

One of the best Luxury restaurant in Kerala.
Got pretty dope vintage ambience and soothing music.
Excellent service.
Food quality was uncompromisingly excellent ✨ along with the decorations and servings.
Prices are bit overpriced, but still good spot to hang around on extremely special days ( like i went there on my bday )
Also they got interior and exterior seatings. Also got beautiful ponds full of giant beautiful fishes ✨ even restroom is cool with decorations.
