Review Azad Restaurant - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)

Very neat good restaurant. I bought a mutton biriyani, it was very bad. Mutton is very bad. But other food is good. Spanish Delight one of my favourite. It was much much good. Lightning are good as normal restaurant. Service in a good manner. We have everyday special menu.

Want fish? This is the place. Great ambience. I said Fish because I had a terrific Punnarameen Polllichath at this one room hotel. This one room is so nicely organised with love and affection for the work they love. Wheat paratha is wonderful. But be careful with the Kizhi meat especially beef. Did not look or taste good. Did cause any stomach problems though. The walls are adorned with graffiti from Malayalam movies with photos of the artists which have nothing to do with the line under it. The very first picture is that of Kuthiravattom Pappu as it should be since he ma Thamarassery Churam famous. Clean neat rest rooms add to the value About five cars can be parked in front of the hotel; the rest will have to parked on the road. Overall experience good. Would I recommend it- Yes

I am Malaysian visited here and resulted food is tasty and acceptable price list. Service and environment was good and friendly. Appreciate for the waitress goodness.

A hidden gem of Trivandrum. A restaurant inspired by the film Vellanakalude Nadu. Especially the event when the road roller rolls off the road (hence the elephant and the road roller in the logo). The name is from a famous mountain pass in Kerala which is invoked in the comic scene. The atmosphere is nice with Malayali movie icons on the wall. The food is good - less spicy compared to other places. Service is efficient.

Excellent food and service in a relaxed environment. The range of seafood options is well worth exploring - lots of exciting and fresh dishes. Been twice and can't wait to return soon!

One of the best place i have visited its really good.calm and quet and offers different section and variety of food. Suitable for family. Not the best for couples not too rushy we get fresh meals here the service is good it accepts credit cards and usually we can have the best dessert there bottled water ia available at all desks. Its not noticable in traffic and really hard to get there in heavy traffic thats thr main problem we usually skip that place

I like their veg and non veg thali. It's the best food they have to offer. Non veg thali comprises of 5 varieties of non veg items. Food is very satisfying with decent ambience. 😊😊

We tried Chicken Stew, Payyoli Beef Curry ong with breads. The Beef curry was quite good.

Visited the place few times. They are popular for non veg food especially sea food. The menu offers a wider option for almost all tastes. Food was good and so was the service. But feel that they need to maintain consistency in the quality and taste of different food varieties being served. Ambience was good and overall hygienic conditions was satisfactory, except the wash basin area which was not very clean during my last visit. Parking area is also limited. Definitely a value for money eatery..

This place has a variety ambience... It has a theme of old malayalam movies. Even the menu card is different from other usual restaurants. The ambience is good, especially if you are visiting for the first time. Food is also tasty and the rates are not bad-Reasonable . Overall a good place.
