Excellent lounge. I would say much better than the Delhi and Bangalore international lounge. Lots of food options. They keep re-filling food. The staff are really nice and helpful.. A big thumbs up.
One of the best restaurants in town. This place will attract you in every possible way. You will become a regular customer after one trip.
Staff:
Very friendly and polite staff. There is a saying that the taste of food is in the hand of the person who serve it. It is evident that a smile while serving can enhance the taste of food. The staff here know it perfectly. His attitude was so nice. It made us feel right at home. Very helpful.
Food:
Very delicious. Excellent. Treat to the tongue and heart. Each and every item were delicious. They offer different special dishes at different days of week. So the experience will be different and I'm sure everyone would enjoy it. A lot of finger licking dishes waiting to be experienced. There are only a very few restaurants in town who can match the taste. Sumptuous meal.
Ambiance:
Warm and pleasant. Neatly arranged, well maintained and tactfully decorated. You naturally feel hungry by the look of the place. And they provide a collection of books for you to read. There is a slight radio music. Very pleasant ambiance.
Price:
Slight more than average hotels in town. But for the taste food, the ambiance they have arranged and the way they serve the food, the price is very fair. And it is affordable.
Parking area is limited. There is usually a bit of rush. Because good food is a very attractive factor. Don't let these stop you, this place is worth the wait.
Very impressed about everything of this restaurant. I will visit again, and sure will recommend to others.
Nice ambience. Tasty food. The achayan's sadhya wasn't available when I went there so I tried the Chattichoru it was tasty and layered with anchovies, beef curry, fish curry gravy, omelet, curd rice all in a nice clay pot.
Comfortable and cozy place which is reliable in the sense that whatever dishes they offer, it tastes above average. I once had they appam (later came to know that it was kallappam) which was the best I had in a long time. I got to taste the best and freshest prawn fry although they give in very meager quantity (for 200 inr) ππ as shown in the picture. Overall, these guys know how to cook delicious food. Kudos and keep up the great work but serve more generously.
A restaurant with a good ambience. Found the dosas a bit dry. The beef was on the spicier side. A good place to chill out with friends. The yellow lighting with the general set up gives it an authentic look in a modern setting.
The ambience is really nice and interiors are rendered in a very contemporary decor. The food is available in a range of prices with some interesting dishes like powdered rice cakes (puttu) stuffed with chicken or beef.
Good place for mid-day and evening snacks. The assortment is good; staff amiable. We had "Kozhi Pidi" in picture, which was exquisite! Recommended. It is open till 11 PM. Ambience is good too, though we didn't spend much time there. It is placed on a one way, do parking may be an issue. Be mindful of you are taking your car with you.
Pretty decent experiance. Delicious dishes. My favourite was ofcourse the pazhankanji (Non-veg costed Rs.80), the side dishes was pretty amazing. No parking slot. Washroom and Toilet was kept clean. Overall ambience was cool. I really did like here. Price was reasonable I guess.
One of the best pothichoru which I had in Trivandrum. Taste of all side dishes are very good and pothichoru contains egg omlet, chammanthi, thoran, achar, one side curry and rice packed in banana leaf. One thing I loved about them is they didn't add sambar with that pothichoru + beef fry combo. They added beef curry and that I liked much.
Only one drawback is there is no pappadam and moru/rasam with that. Other than that a wonderful lunch with them.
Imagine traditional kerela food with a twist. That's exactly this place is. The food is just amazing! I'll definitely come back for more. I tried the chicken putt, just order 2 more. Also had the kappa Biryani which was one of the best I've tasted in Trivandrum. We also had koth parota and beef curry. And everything was great and tasty. The service is great. Very friendly staff. I loved the guy taking the orders. He knows the product very well and I was impressed by the way he explained the menu. The only downside is that the food is a bit in the pricey side. One reason I had to order multiple chicken putt was because if the low quantity. But what this place lacks in quantity , it makes up in quality. Go for it!!!
A good restaurant in the city. They have got some variety dishes on their menu apart from the usual items that we get everywhere. Space is limited, but has good ambience.
Went there during the lunch hours and the place was crowded. Waited and we got a seat. Ordered their fish curry meals and anchovy fries. Need to say that the veg curries all tasted homely and the fish curry and the anchovy or nettoli fry was really delicious. They also serve specials like as per availability. Good place to try out naadan food
Enjoyed a wonderful homely meal from Edaneram. The ambience, service, and the variety kerala dishes keeps this restaurant as one among the best in the city. Kappa,Chena, kaachil so many different items are here.
Being from Vishakhapatnam and my likeness to spicy food this is what my take is
Touch down in Kerala, the first thing we asked our friend is to eat some authentic Kerala food. He took me and my cousin to this place named Edaneeram meaning interval. Ambience of old tea stall and a bit of movie advertising area. The feel and look was great.
Coming to main part food we ordered chicken puttu, prawns puttu, appam with chicken curry to go with beverages they have is their very own versions of tea . We ordered dancing tea , masala tea and edaneeram spl tea.
The water served was also boiled with herbals and cooled down
Coming to taste I absolutely loved prawn puttu, I felt chicken puttu and chicken curry lacked some salt and spices.
But after speaking to my friend he informed me is that authentic version of delicacy doesn't have much of salt and spices,if we informed the chef he can definitely add but it's not authentic any more.
I would definitely recommend this place if you ever visited Trivandrum.
Bill I donno , friend paid I ate...πππ
Tummy Kush tho sab kuch Kush π
Simply superb. Authentic Kerala taste. Good customer service and pleasant ambience. A place to hangout which is not too expensive and not too cheap. The food served is worth the money you pay and is not too oily. If you really want to have some good Kerala taste, this place is for you. The place is packed with customers after 6 in the evening. But you can grab a seat without much wait. It's also well kept. Really liked it.
Nice food with edaneram special varieties has nice ambience. Some items are bit overpriced. Nice service. You can get traditional kerala foods like pazhamkanji. Restaurant is located in one way from bakery junction to vazhuthacaud. Road sime parking available here.
This is a gem in the heart of Trivandrum. Serves Kerala cuisine in all its glory. Loved the vibrant decor . Little confused by the fact that the place doesn't serve all dishes every day. Making the menu a little complicated . Kudos Edaneram. Big fan ! Looking forward to a sumptuous achayans lunch on a Sunday.
A small place with pretty good food. The menu is limited but food that they serve is delicious. Their egg roast is amazing served with thick gravy. They serve really good nadan food at affordable price.
