Review Cricket.shack - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)

Cricket schack has great ambiance and great food. I went to the Terrace by Mawako upstairs and found it unclean and overpriced. Left and went to Cricket Shack instead, I found it to be much much better. It should be the more popular one.

The food is really good and and serving is also nice. We had ordered spaghetti, pasta and beef steak. It's really delicious. Ambience is something to talk about. It's really wonderful.

Beautiful ambience, okay food. It's an engaging and entertaining atmosphere for cricket lovers as they have a huge TV which broadcasts live cricket matches. They also have amazing speakers with deep bass. The outdoor ambience is also great, it's cool and the view is amazing at night. The whole place is very photogenic and is wort experiencing. Don't expect much from the food, it's average. You'll find better pizzas, pastas, sweet dishes but you won't find such ambience.

Loved cricket shack with the open mic night. Great outdoor seatings . Exemplary Ambience. Good customer service. And the food is somewhat delicious. The cheesy fries was just average since it was not cheesy at all. However the thin crust 12 inch pizza was really good. Also the whole grilled chicken was well cooked with great consistency , however I would recommend to take out the extra saltines of the chicken.

If you are looking a clean dining experience with some nice ambiance you must try the Cricket Shack in Trivandrum. It's slightly on the expensive side but not that much. I loved their beef steak. They care for their customers and it's a go to place to dine and have a nice conversation. The music and open terrace add to your experience. There are bad reviews for the longer waiting time for prepration: one should understand that some dishes needs to be cooked properly and you can pre order them. They don't pre cook and deliver like many other hotels. I think it's worth waiting.

The first thing that come to your mind when u hear this place out is the open space for dine in. Such a beautifully ambient restaurant in town. Great place to hangout. The place could easily take 50 people at a time. The place have good tasty food. But the rates are a little high. Also the waiting time is too long. The place is great for its ambience and small games they have arranged. Their mojitos are good and they have decent taste pizza, sandwiches and stuff.

Lovely😍Such a good Ambience at the top. A must visit place for cricket enthusiasts. Deserve a 5 star. I gave 1 star less because of too much delay when you order food even for little items. I had to wait for a lifetime when I visited for the first time. But quality of food is just superb lil bit costly though. Overall a good experience.

Loved the ambience. It was very nice to have hot coffee with a little cold breeze and drizzle. They have a very good service. Now, they have more items in their menu.When they start their journey one year back, options are limited. Also, when i had food last time, i should say quality become much better.

It was a very good and very different experience for me and my friends. It has a very beautiful ambience. We had a very nice feel. We ordered pizza barbecue and watermelon juice. The pizza was yummy and it was enough for we three girls. The watermelon juice is also tasty. It was a different experience to eat food at the roof in the open air with some live music. Inside the cricket shack, there is a lite feel good light and a very good ambience. We sat out, by feeling the fresh air and good view from there gave us a different enjoyment.

Fell in love with the ambience. Cricket themed cafe. Beautifully built. Felt fresh and airy. The view from the top is also refreshing. The food is great. Staffs are pleasing. The price is also affordable. I would definitely recommend to visit this place.

For the cricket lovers this place brings a lot of memories. The outdoor seating is nice and it's good for weekend meetings for friends. Menu is not that great , but has a some surprises. Food tastes good. Good service. It would be a lot better if they could add some.more dishes in the menu.

A 5 star for the the ambience, the food is also good. Service could be better, a great place to hang out with friends. Prices are on the high side but not skyrocketing as o expected to be. Since it's on the fifth floor the view is awesome in the evening but sunny during the day time. PS: try the chicken pizza.

The first thing that comes in your mind about cricket shack is the rooftop ambience and the beauty. Night time visit is the best. Its one of the best places where you can have weekend chats with friends at peace of mind.Its on the 5th floor at Asiatic Business Centre Being a cricket themed restaurant you can see the interior has been designed in relation to cricket memories. Food items are average. Shakes are fine. Pricing is high(₹₹₹). Waiting time is also there, Overall its the outdoor ambience that would attract you and makes you come back to the restaurant.

Good Ambience, not so good food

A rooftop cafe with beautiful decor and also occasional live music that adds brownie points to the place. We tried the pizza, pasta, chicken wings and ceasar salad. The salad was mediocre. Could have added a bit more topping. Pasta and pizza was delicious. Chicken wings were quite less in quantity. For desserts, we had the Apple pie, Tiramisu and Chocolate Brownie. Brownie stole the show among them. The vibe of the place is fantastic and so is the view. Service is a bit slow but the staff was very courteous. Nevertheless, it's great spot for a hangout.

We went here for dinner and it was a great experience. We ordered French fries, Veg pizza, Chicken Tikka pizza, Chicken strips, Veg Burger, Orange juice, Pineapple juice and Lime juice. Food was delicious. Service is good too. The ambience with cricket photos and information around and also a music corner makes it very unique.

Ordered pizza and it was cold and very hard. This was my first bad experience with cricket shack . Called them up. They told they will look into it and call me back. No one called. Very disappointed with their service

Food is quite delicious and well served...ambience deserve 5 stars... and staff is quite lively... definitely a must try place... suggest to join them on weekends for live music...

Amazing place . Highly recommended . The ambience is very very good . The whole place is cricket themed .  Even the door knob  .  Also there is a very good view as they have an outdoor as well as indoor setting .  You can get a nice view of bypass road . Coming to food i tried their beef burger which was nice . Had their coffee which was good . They have many varieties of coffee and there is a board explaining the different classifications of coffee . Lime juice i had was good . Service i liked . Also they have weekend live music . A guitar is placed there which is an added bonus if any of your friends know how to play guitar . I strummed a few tunes and it felt good .  Will definitely visit many times again

Nice place. Really great ambience and the view from here is awesome. Service was good. Had some cheeze cottage sizzler, white sauce pasta. The taste was great with decent price rate comparison. The lime soda was fresh too.

I have ordered veg pizza and it is completely bland and no taste at all. Also ordered bbq chicken burger which has very less chicken. But the Grill chicken burger tastes good which is the reason for rating 3 else it is 2

Slowest service in all of the restaurants in Trivandrum probably. The food isn't great. If you've never been, then you haven't missed anything spectacular. Ambience is good.

Loved the ambience and the view! Chill vibe.Decent service.<br/>We ordered Buffalo wings, Chicken& mushroom pizza , Spaghetti meat balls and Lemon Iced Tea. The wings were lip smacking.The pizza was really good. The cheese pull was to die for. But the pasta really disappointed us.The meat balls were super dry. The sauce was way too oily and lacked flavour.The iced tea was just okay. Hence 3 stars !

Good food good ambience. But poor service. Orders take a long time. Sometimes we do t get an order but they take the same from another table

the view and ambience is like no other. an awesome spot for teens and adults to chill. the food isn’t so great neither is the pricing. other than the regular selling items, other orders take a ton of time to come.

If you are a cricket fan, this place you would love to visit. The ambience, food , the roof top view which adds the X factor to the food flavour . i tried their food platter which was goodand worth the price

Customer service is really poor. Nothing served for 50 mins. You will not be asked if you want anything or not. Not even water. Also be ready to have lots and lots of ants and insects around your table.

A really cool place to hang out with your group in the evening. They have rooftop seating area and live music, which makes this place way too amazing in the area.<br/>Ordered cheese fries, vegetarian pizza and white sauce pasta. Fries were okay, but not that good. Pizza and pasta were amazing.<br/>The place has a great ambience. Definitely worth a try.

One of the best rooftop restaurants in town. ambience is ausome.We can feel the cool breeze and its perfect if its in evening time. Regarding food it took a long time for our food to be delivered . Food was good but waitng for soo long was a bit irritating.There is live jamming taking place and its cricket theme soo we can see the entire criket things everywere sorted soo beautifully

Tasty Food, reserve seats to get good comfortable seats. Live music show in the under roof sitting area, roof top sitting is also available. Wonderful vibes and fun. Must Visit.

The ambience is great... The view we get it from there is amazing.. a must visit Cafe for cricket lovers.. The food and service is good.. although the order take some time but the wait was worth if we are going there on evening... Price is decent

Nice place to eat and hangout with friends. Located on highway . Rooftop and indoor seating available. Although serving time is more, the food compensated it. The brownie served was less in quantity. The penne pasta was good.Overall nice experience.

The ambience you get there is amazing. Cricket lovers must visit this place. The food is amazing and their service too is mind blowing. I tried their chicken burger. Even though they took some time to serve it was worth waiting. You never get bored of waiting for food that is one plus point of the place.

Food quality and the service are really very bad here. Pizzas are not properly grilled and cheese used is not fresh that can cause you stomache.<br/>Service is pathetic. It seems like waiters throw food at your table instead of serving it in hospitable manner. They dont reply if you ask them anything instead they start laughing in a cheap manner.<br/>Just the ambeince is the positive factor which alone doesn't give justice to your dining experience.

We had a lovely dinner at cricket shack with the live music, excellent food and the wonderful ambience. It was pocket friendly too considering the quantity of each dish. We ordered the chicken lollipop, BBQ chicken pizza and Pasta penne arrabiata in red sauce.

Finding the restaurant is slightly difficult as it is in a building with other cafes as well and there is not much indication or guidance as to what floor it is on.<br/>The ambience is a really good one. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and has a good vibe on the weekends. There is a live music scene here and it adds on to the ambience of the place.<br/>Coming to the food, the food is quite average and not out of the world. The options are also quite less to choose from.<br/>We ordered pizza and two pastas. Both the pastas turned out to be similar and there was no variation in taste which was quite disappointing.<br/>The staff is fine and not extremely friendly or helpful.<br/>In all the experience was quite good, and it's a great place to bring your family and friends.

The view from here is absolutely beautiful ! You don't even have to stand up to see the view like a lot of rooftop restaurants.<br/><br/>Chicken pizza was average with the cheese totally dried out and lacked flavors. This place has the best ambience. You can go and chill out with your friends along with some bite of the food here. I loved their cheese veg pizza. Regarding service, rate and variety in menu this cafe is a great pick.
