Review Hopper Restaurants - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)

A very nice restaurant in the bypass. Very good ambiance. Nice service by the staff. Wide and unique items available especially idiyappam. It's too good and priced reasonably. Biriyani combo cost 250 is really value for money. Average cost per couple is around 400. They don't have dedicated car parking and we have to park in the road side.

This place surprise you with the vibrant makeovers of our own idiyappam! In addition, you get most of other restaurant menu items too like very fluffy porotta and madam chicken curry. The lemon coriander chicken soup stood out with exquisite flavor. Service need to be improved. Road side parking and accessibility is easy .

Hopper was a nice experience. Good food and clean ambience. Loved the beef pepper fry and for meals pulisery and butter milk wer absolutely funtabulous. Meals will cost 80 and beef fry for 140. Every other stuffs savoured grt. Karimeen pollichathu 300 rs, was a large one. Anchovies for 40 rs. Sardine for 40 aswell. Tried some rabbit for the first time. In our local language adipoli ruchi.

Try their appam which is really good. Idiyappam is just okay although they have several fusion stuff with idiyappam. The Achayan beef that we had felt cold and wasn't as good as we expected. The nadan chatti chicken curry felt better. Ambience is pretty good and the washrooms were clean. Recommended !

Good restaurant. Idiyappam fusion idiyappam chicken biriyani was good. Bamboo chicken biryani and Hoppers special vazhayila biriyani was also good. But chicken puttu was not good. Ambience was not bad. Cost is not that cheap, but not that high too. There was AC.

Being an idiyappam fan this is the best place l could find. Located near the upcoming Lulu mall on the road connecting ulloor to akkulam. They have a lot of innovative combination of idiyappam (string hoppers). The string hopper idiyappam fusions section has a lot of super combinations. One must try the chettinad idiyappam combo, idiyappam biriyani and in the desserts section the fried idiyappam with ice cream. The soup was a disappointment. A must try restaurant for all idiyappam fans and others also.

Food is good. Well prepared, neat and clean restaurant. Well behaved staffs.

The food is tasty but the customer service is not much good. I was quite satisfied with the foods they offer. They have some excellent varieties also. Dining is also good and the hygiene standards are far better. Good place for the dinners.

Had Onam sadhya here. It was tasty. Curries were good and I like the payasams better.

It's a unique setup. Like they have taken something as simple as a rice hopper and created such a wide spread menu. It's a place that everyone should try. Quite innovative and it has worked out well. Nice ambience,good service and it's great in terms of quality and quantity. I am rating it 5/5 for the creative aspect that they are maintaining well. The only issue for me is that this restaurant is quite far off from the city and I would like to suggest this: I found it difficult to access this place using GPS. So kindly update your location detail on google.

Food is average nd costumer approach not gud .very bad

I've been to hopper twice. I was quite satisfied with the food they served and loved a few dishes.<br/>The beef starters are a must try. They have some great varieties in those.<br/>All the curries we ordered where also worth trying.<br/><br/>The biggest backdrop of the food they serve is the quantity. Every curry they served was very low in quantity and pricey.<br/><br/>I have to mention the service they provided. The service was fast and the staffs where so pleasant.<br/><br/>It's a 4/5 for the taste of the food, good service and the ambience of the place.
