Review Longtime - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)

Literally blown away by the whole experience. I will breakdown the review to food, ambience and staff. Food The food has a very unique twist and enjoyed by everyone. Everything was cooked and presented in a nice manner. It is also worth noting that all the items were brought in together and everything was served nice and hot. Ambience and cleanliness The venue is very clean and beautifully presented. It is a house that has been converted to a restaurant, it retains the feel of a nice welcoming house. I have seen the same done at some other restaurants as well, good concept and well executed. It is also worth mentioning that everything is nice and clean. Staff The staff here are amazing! They are all so polite, professional and well mannered. The level of customer service and care is truly exceptional. They explained about the food while we were putting in our order and also advised us of the wait times. The staff here knows how to make us feel welcome. It’s worth noting that food is not 100% authentic Asian, Thai or Vietnamese but more of an “inspired dishes” or a fusion type. But that maybe due to the fact that the food still has to be something that caters to the wider audience and hence these minor changes are essential. This did not affect our enjoyment at the venue and honestly very happy with the overall experience.

Great Ambience but the food was average for its pricing. Tried the caramelized onion bisque soup(beef), chill garlic wings, and other dishes who's names I can't remember. Overall it's a great place if you want to go out on a date or have some peace time eating with the family

We met for a classmates gathering, they gave us an exclusive room which was cool and great. This restaurant is a converted house and very well done.Food was great and the service was quick and the waiters are polite, most of them from the north east.Recommended place to go for a meet up .

One of unexplored cafe in TVM. They have amazing continental and Thai dishes in their menu. The food is good but the pricing is a bit high. They have both indoor and outdoor tables. The outdoors are decorated with greenery. Do checkout this cafe if you're a cafe lover.

Great food in terms of both quality and quantity, but it comes with a price. I went on Christmas day. The festive season made it crowded, and the indoor seating felt a bit cramped when busy.

I recently dined at Longtime Restaurant Kawdiar with my family, and it was a delightful experience. We tried the Singapore Fried rice, Malaysian noodles, and the special chicken sizzler. The ambiance was wonderful, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The restaurant was impeccably clean and well-maintained, enhancing our dining experience. The food was not only delicious but also bursting with flavor, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. However, I did notice a discrepancy in the bill. We were charged Rs 39 for a bottle of water, which usually costs Rs 20. This left me somewhat disappointed as it seemed like an oversight in pricing. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience at Longtime Restaurant Kawdiar was excellent. The delectable cuisine and inviting ambiance make it a worthwhile dining destination. I would recommend this restaurant for its great food and pleasant atmosphere, with the hope that they address the pricing inconsistency in the future.

Come for the food, not the ambience as it's a Villa remodeled as a restaurant outlet. The property needs to be more well-maintained and pruned.Pretty cosmopolitan menu with spattering of Continental, Chinese, Thai and Italian dishes. We ordered the Jamaican Jack Beef, Yuangxing De Chicken and Dan-Dan prawn noodles. The Jamaican jack beef was scintillating on the tongue and wholesome but the Chinese dish Yuangxing de chicken was lackadaisical. Longtime menu seems to be ripped off from Cafe Mojo menu. And the latter's preparation and cooking is better.

The food was OK. Didn’t find anything extra ordinary. We had ordered a sizzler, meat balls, some starters and crème brulee. Chicken starter tasted a bit overcooked. Main Course was fine. For Parking you will have to park by the road side (road’s not too busy). Place is quite ambient. The staff are quite friendly. In case of pricing, for the four of us total was around 4500. There’s outdoor dining too.

The dishes are cooked to perfection, the ambience is top notch and the service is impeccable. Longtime is my new favorite restaurant in Trivandrum. The staff was very friendly and picked the best spot for my reservation. Waiting for my next visit to Kerala to try some more dishes from their exquisite menu.
