Review Eat By Citrine - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)

If you are looking for long lost traditional Kerala dishes, I'd any day recommend Eat by Citrine. The staffs courtesy and service was top notch. They took the liberty to explain the dishes and the history behind it and even made us sample some before placing order. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the food and the ambiance. Special mention of Samson and Tintu Thomas who took special care of us.

I’ve visited various restaurants in Trivandrum. Most of them were either difficult to reach or located on the top floor. However, this one was on the ground floor, which made it easily accessible for my elderly family members. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh; you could genuinely taste the freshness of the spices and oil used. Their unique menu sets them apart from the rest, and the staff were all very friendly. I’ll definitely explore their other branches since they assure the same level of service.

Really amazing food. Have tried the Christmas Menu for office celebrations. The staff was really helpful in deciding the menu and quantity and they even delivered the food saving us from the hassle. Highly recommended..:)

Quite knowledgeable staff that explain all the dishes in a very descriptive way that makes it hard to choose. Tried a variety of dishes and loved everything.

A Different Experience ! Rather than the regular eateries across the town delivering the same Arabian/Chinese/South dishes, here we get something special. Some authentic good food combos from the past & village. Just checkout the menu, you'll see a lot of different stuffs, authentic food items from regions across Kerala. The Ambience is nice, their customer treatment is nice, food is Great, and more over presentation is simply great with some starters and finish offs. If you ever wanna try something new on your plates, just visit here. It's more like a taste experience centre ! Waiting for more food !

Best food and Best service .Tried Pidiyum kozhiyum, beef ularth and kizhi kushka. Loved all these✨️ the restaurant isn't much spacious but loved the ambience. Great for small group get together.

Every dish just taste different than normal nadan cusine. Every dish is worth a try😍 . Very friendly staff and i wish the eating area to be made spacious for guests. MUST TRY

Visited it for lunch. That day they were having onam sadya option for lunch. For only 299 plus taxes the sadya had the following options:- SALT CHIPS SHAKARAVARATTI PAZHAM PAPPADAM MANGO PICKLE LIME PICKLE INCHI PULI PACHADI MADHURA CURRY AVIAL THORAN RICE PARIPPU GHEE SAMBAR PULISSERY PALADA BOLI PARUPPU PREDHAMAN PACHA MORU RASAM Loved the food served. The F&B Manager Saju and team took very good care of us and we had a good time. Ambience was good and place was clean. The hotel has ample parking space also and is conveniently available on S S Kovil. Google maps location was bit off (Hotel was earlier in the road but map was showing further ahead. Better to ask people on the road after reaching). Would love to visit again for the other traditional fare available there.

Such a lovely place for a great and satisfactory meal! Really mesmerising Ambience and is very accessible as it's near the National Highway! If you enjoy traditional dishes of Kerala this is the place to be I tried Kottayam pidiyum kozhiyum one of the best that I have ever had. Idiearachi was an all new experience. Vetilayil policha meen was another dish that was simply awesome.
