Review Zaatar Wa Zaitoon Restaurant & Grills - Thrissur

We visited in the evening hours so it was soooo quiet and peaceful because it was just us in the restaurant😁.They have a large dining area with sofas and chairs.Thier service was good.We ordered Arabian plate shawarma which was sufficient for two..Then mandhi rice with barbeque and grill.Both was really good,though I felt the al fahm wasnt tender enough.The mandhi rice was finger licking good😊...We ordered fresh juice which took a little longer to get,but worth the wait...😊.overall a super restaurant to visit with family.Also they have a really amazing menu😍

Very good interior decor and general ambience. Interior lighting is excellent. Food is mostly quite tasty - I suppose that's a personal choice and cannot be generalised. Their menu range is very impressive. The starters as well as the Chinese noodle dishes and fried rice dishes are tasty and of fairly good quantity. We did not try any of the Arabic dishes. On the day of our visit, mutton dishes were not available - I wanted to try the sheek kebabs. The aloo paratha was excellent. The restaurant is very easily accessible, since it's on the Main road. The general cleanliness was pretty good and the washroom areas were very well kept. The overall service was only average good, though some of the staff were very friendly. Pricing is medium level - not very high but not very low either Fairly good value for money.

Great ambience and Delicious food. Service and attitude of staff is also good. The only problem I felt is too much of led lights which is causing increase room temperature ( My personal opinion).visited with friend and he too liked the food, garnishing and ambience.

The best spot for arabian foods in thrissur. The BBQ items were delicious. Also the MANTHI was good compared to other restaurants in thrissur (even though all restaurant serves some kind of bbq chicken and biriyani rice in manthi). The ambience was also good. The families can prefer this place without any doubt. The wallet parking and underground parking makes it more comfortable.( the parking was the problem for all restaurants in tcr).

If you want to have great food in Thrissur add Zataar to your list. With amazing food varieties(arabic, chinese, Indian) and great ambience this place is a must visit. We had Al-Fahm, Kuzhimanthi and their speciality Bullet Shot which is a must try, mandi was too delicious..

Located at Thrissur in MG Road.Have proper parking space.Good ambiance with pleasing staffs.Good for family. Cash and card facility available.Recorded music available.Very highgenic place. Specially for Arabic foods.Reasonable price.Really impressed with their service. Today we ordered Alfarm and shawarama. Alfarm is good but shawarama is little disappointed. Taking minimum of 15-20 minutes for serving food.

One of the best restaurant,recently I have tried! Good taste, unique interiors and ambience! Do not forget to try their beef biriyani,very good in taste! Overall, highly recommended to go and enjoy food with family/ friends!

Very Beautiful and Stunning Place to have food with family.Tried for the first time this restaurant and surprisingly it turn out Great. Superb interiors, ok Service, well dressed Waiters.Tried Porotta, Raan Biriyani (Arabic rice),Raara Masala , Hummus and Starter Bullet Shot.Food was tasty.Bullet Shot & Porotta Superb.I feel kubooos was little Harder , other wise over all Great Place.

Very good ambience. Excellent service ( feels international). The dish was excellent. Worth the money you spend. Got valet parking.

Quality over quantity. Food here us more on the pricier side if you look at the quantity of food you receive for your money. They managed to nail the Arabian cuisine down to the taste and the names of the dishes which sounds like someone violently gargling unless you know arabic.

Nice ambience, Good staff service ,quick delivery,...☺️.. The menu provides a variety of arabian, Chinese and Indian delicacies.👩‍🍳 Roti and Chicken Kohlapuri 🍲 combo is a must try 😋...BBQ chicken was also good🍖. Arabian plate shawarma disappointed since it was of poor quantity (as compared) and was loaded with mayo😕. If you are looking for a weekend dinner with family or friends ,go for ZWZ.🤗

One of the best shawarmas I have had. Adding a couple of crispy french fries would enhance the taste. The Side pickle could be improved.

They forgot to put the chilly sauce,i even requested to put that,but food is great

ഇന്നലെ 29/04/20 ഒരു പ്ലേയ്റ്റ് ഷവർമ വാങ്ങി. ഞാൻ എൻ്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇത്രയും വൃത്തികെട്ട ഷവർമ കഴിച്ചിട്ടില്ല,

ഇന്ന് 19.04.20 മുന്ന് plate ഷവർമ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തു.chicken manjal podi ഇട്ടു വേവിച്ച് ചെറിയ പീസ് ആക്കി ചതച്ചതും അതിനോടൊപ്പം മല്ലി ഇലയും കുറച്ച് കാബേജും കൂടി അതിന്റെ side ill കുറച്ച് മയനിസ്..ഒപ്പം റൊട്ടിയും ഇത് lockdown കാരണം ആണോ എപ്പോഴും ഇങ്ങനെ ആണോ. 9 year gulf le ഷവർമ തിന്ന എനിക് ഇത് എന്താണ് എന്ന് മനസ്സിലായില്ല..

Very very bad food

The item MANDI DADAJ BIRIYANI is taken away from zomato menu. But it is still available on SWIGGY. Me and none of my friends use Swiggy anymore. I won't buy from this restaurant anymore unless they bring this item to the menu.

I frequently order cb from zatar and it's delivered well packed and am acquainted to the taste.but today am really disappointed. It seemed like the food was from some other restaurant,worse packing & poor taste unusual about zatar

Zero salt in afghan chicken as well as bbq platter. Even the chicken wasn’t well done.

Look at the bowl...lot of oil... received from Beef curry...so bad...so sad...

Bought the gadbad worth 120...just 3 tiny scoops which is just half of the 300ml cup.. Pathetic.... Expected more...

I mean I like this restaurant and all...But just a little problem, that is their Dragon Chicken is a little too spicy...Which is not really controllable....Then the electricity,which is going in every 5 mins or so.I don't know that happened only when we came here.Others are really great.

Orderded Dajaj Alfahm through Swiggy. Loved it. I was surprised why few people have said that the kuboos is not good. I felt it tasted like the one you get in Dubai and not the kerala version of kuboos. Even the garlic sauce was really good.<br/>I have given only 4 stars because I want to check the quality of food by trying more dishes.<br/>Ordered Mutton biryani. Overcooked rice. Very bad dining experience.<br/>The parking was a nightmare but there is valet to take care of that.<br/>But the first thing we get greeted is a foul stench of something rotten or like some sewerage pipe has broken some where .<br/>And the food was mediocre and the staff was adamant and not at all receptive to the customers requests..the shawarma that I ordered was raw at some parts and I asked them to change it for me and the person glared at me like I asked him for a kidney or something.

Very good place nice ambiance and good food.the shakes are very good .it is located in west fort which is very nice place and can get easily attracted super place i love it

They serve authentic Arabic food. The Mandi and the platter was delicious. The ambience here is really good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The waiting time is a but much.

Pevious orders were good,but today it was disapointing.iam not satisfied with your griled shawai.it seems to like unhygieninc .It feels like that the kubboose were belongs to very old packet

I ordered a Chilly Gobi from here. When I received it, it was half quantity of the package. There was little to eat. I have heard this restaurant is good but now I am not satisfied with your service

One of the best places in Thrissur for good food and lovely ambience! Absolutely loved the place and the food. The service was really friendly. Their grills are really good and is a must try especially with the sauces!

I always enjoyed the taste of food and ambience in zwz .Service and delay n getting food need to be improved.Maintain your Good taste and Hygiene as it is now. Bullet shot, Cream Falooda, porotta and Mix Bbq Platter is my Fav Here.<br/>Main advantage is their Valet Parking, which is very rare in a city like Thrissur.

Had dinner here thrice with family and also ordered home delivery many times. Their parottas are great, big and crispy. Tandoori chicken is the best I have had in Kerala. Have tried their Arabic, Chinese and North Indian items. Everything was by and large good, except once when I ordered navratan korma and it was coagulated because of an overdose of pineapple in the cream based curry. But I will keep on ordering from there coz it's a nice restaurant.

I Like their Caesar Chicken Salad & the Arabic Shawarma.<br/>Dajaj Al-Faham was disappointing. Quite decent Arabic cuisine. Not exceptional or great in terms of taste but ambience is pretty good for the location it is situated. Parking facility too is available.<br/><br/>

ORDERED FOOD THROUGH ZOMATO,FOOD QUALITY WISE I WILL GIVE 5* , BUT THE QUANTITY IS LESS. GO FOR THEIR GRILLS ESPECIALLY BARBEQUES,POROTTAS AND HUMMUS. BETTER TO AVOID GRAVY ITEMS.
