Review Sri Allagappa Briyani - Tiruppur

Both the Mutton and Chicken Biryanis were good, both in terms of taste and quantity. Mutton Kola Balls too were really good. They market Elaneer Payasam as a signature dish and that was just okay. The guy recommended us to have Egg Kudal Fry, which was again good. Chicken Chinthamani was not good, felt kinda soggy and too saucy. Overall it was a satisfying lunch with Biryanis turning out to be winner out of all that we tried. Would recommend to anyone who is searching for a place to have Biryani.

Biriyani is their trademark food. Quality is top notch. Side dishes on chicken and mutton stood on top. Highly recommended for authentic kongu foods

One of the hotels that is known for Briyani around Tirupur is Sree Alagappa Briyani . This is their 2nd Branch Located at Periyar Colony in Avinashi road. They have a medium sized hall for dining in Ground floor and also a party Hall upstairs. We had a Mutton Briyani Bucket with Salna was good and mouth watering. There were so many Flies inside the hall which made a couple so angry during their dinner. So management should take proper steps regarding it. They do not have the price list on the menu card so better you check the price before you go for ordering. We only had Mutton Briyani and I don’t know how their other items taste ..

Taste was good when compared to other shops in avinashi road. Little pricer but advantage is get 1/4 Chicken Biriyani for 120 Rs. Good for biriyani alone. Must try once for taste which is good.
