Review The Cinnamon Route - Trivandrum

Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. You do end up paying for the location a bit. The beef dishes could have been better, but they do a fine job of making biryani.

This is the second time we've come here. This weekend's specials were pasta and sizzlers. The seer fish sizzler was great; lemon n burnt butter sauce went nicely with it. We were happy with the barbecue chicken too.The portions were slightly on the smaller side, so we ordered a linguini pasta with prawns. A thumb up for that too. But the best of all was the sizzling brownie!! The best I've had! The walnut cake was especially awesome! The downside was the long waiting time and the prices, which are on the higher side. The ice cream soda we had ordered last time was a regrettable choice. That was the only bad thing out of our visits. Will definitely be back ๐Ÿ‘ P.s. We have come here many times since the first review. And each time the amazing flavour of the food is what brings us back despite the limited menu. My compliments to the chef at cinnamon route๐Ÿ‘Œ

Beautiful place with lovely ambience. They have unique dishes both in veg and non veg. Few things which i tried along with my friend was lucknowi firni, palak methi ka saag, kathal ki biriyani, yam ki gilawati and dahi ke kabab. All were splendid. Staffs were polite. Good to see such kind restaurants coming up in trivandrum.

It is a budget oriented cozy place to taste preservatives free food. Not much crowded and customer friendly service. The food they serve are almost free from chemicals like ajinomotto, artificial flavour etc.

Found the place and the ambience good but , not clean enough. Probably the management could look into it. Conveniently located with sufficient space to park and the food was decent too.

Cinnamon Route is the latest addition to Trivandrum's growing restaurant scene. They got many indigences right, from the beginning. Nice ambiance, nice staff and good food. Service can improve though. Avadh Biryani is a must try. The North Indian delicacies have an authentic Avadh touch.
