We went for dinner so it was dark but I loved the set up and the lights and the vibes of the place Food was average, not bad. The beer pitcher was just for 500 bucks (3 glass) which is great Lal maas was okay okay, cooked well but lacked a bit of taste Waiters attended us pretty well Lake view is also nice

Best experience in udaipur for all meals. We stayed at Rampratap palace hotel just in front of the restaurant. Breakfast options were very good. Staff is very humble and service is also quick. The restaurant is just next to the lake so the views and atmosphere is amazing. It is good both in the morning and evening.

A beautiful scenic view - must visit in Udaipur. It is right beside the lake and the view, along with the sun, were totally worth it. It may seem a bit expensive though.

We stayed across in Rampratap palace and dined several times in the restaurant. This lakeside place offers a breathtaking view of the Fateh Sagar Lake. Seating is both indoor and outdoor. Food is good and staff is very courteous and helpful. A special shout out to Vijay and Sohan Singh ji. Thanks.

We ordered four course meal and every item in our order was great in a test. their vibe, . Their ambience was amazing and so clam . Their view was so heart warming there service was great. We highly recommend Rajbagh to all of you.

The food is also outstanding, particularly the cheese garlic naan which I highly recommend. I have never encountered such attentive staff at any other restaurant.

My Google Review # 000243. An extension of the Ram-Pratap Hotel, this place is a restaurant service food to walk-in guests as well as the guests staying at the hotel across the road. We hopped in here for our breakfast and dinner for 2 days and it was simply awesome. Though the food was simple, the staff was courteous and ensured zero-spicy taste in all dishes for my kid. The serene lake view from this restaurant is simply beautiful! Click a selfie, take a stroll, host a party... you can do many-a-things over here. The entrance is designed in the palatial concept just like half of the city buildings. There are vintage cars also kept for display. You can head straight to the lake-side tables or cosy in the covered AC restaurant. There is a live tandoor setup and also dosa-counter for the South Indian delicacy lovers. Great flavour, generous portion sizes and beautiful views! Dinner was included in our booking and this was definitely worth it. You can get safe, hygienic, vegetarian food exactly the same way you want it. In our 3 days of stay, we had Khichdi, Biryani, Pizza, Dal-Roti, Ice-cream, Gulabjamun etc… All this accompanied by Mewari courtesy! Definitely, worth a dine-in! Date of Experience # August 2021.

Little bit costly but with international menu and a perfect view of fatehsagar lake. Taste is delicious, however options in the menu is not more but enough to fill your tummy with regular indian and also some international dishes. If you are pure vegetarian, this is not the place for you. Bonus points for its wonderful panaromic photogenic view of natural scenery. Place is very clean and well maintained. Staff is supportive and give service with a smile.

It has a very nice ambience. We asked for private lakeside dinner and they arranged it beautifully. Vijay Singh jii is amazing in hospitality. Shankar Singh jii made sure we don't have to ask for order. He attended us with much pleasure and obedience. It was an amazing evening.

This restaurant is right at the edge of the fateh sagar lake,brilliantly situated with an ambiance to die for. The staff was very attentive and courteous to all our needs. The main course is fabulous, especially laal maas and daal makhani. The grilled chicken breast is a wonderfully flavourful dish, although the chicken could have been more juicier. The staff (Mr. Vijay in our case) is very helpful and honest, will tell you up front about bad dishes. In short, good place for a pretty and tasty meal always

Really nice restaurant at the lake side with good ambience and some great food. We tried creamy delight chicken soup, Laal Maas , Missi roti , and kesari kheer and all of it was apt and best in taste. The hospitality by Mr. Bhanwar Singh was really amazing .. he took good care of us and made sure to suggest good dishes as per our liking. Must visit when in udaipur.

This restaurant has an amazing view of Lake! Food is also delicious. We ordered Paneer Tika masala and daal fry, both were ossum! We also have breakfast there it was nice spread of varieties.

To start off with, the place has an amazing view. It is by the lake side of Lake Fatehsagar with a very courteous staff. We ordered a Lemon Coriander soup which was okay. We then thought of trying something authentic Rajasthani cuisine. So we ordered Gatte ki Sabji and roti. I must say it was super-duper yummy.<br/>All in all, with great service, good food and a nice ambience, this place is a must try! 😊

Spent a day at the ram pratap palace and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, the property is just beautiful and gives you royal feels! So is the food! Also, the people who serve you are extremely polite and helpful... Amazing experience!

Great location. Visited the place during afternoon and was a great ambience then too. Right besides the lake, with cool breeze flowing and mood perfectly set. The food was below par what you’d expect at a restaurant with such a right hand side. Overall, the place is good, not the food though.

Our stay was in Rampratap palace which included breakfast. There was nothing so fancy in breakfast buffet ; the basic fruit and jam butter sandwich and tea or coffee , eggs and 2-3 more items. It wasn’t waste of money nor was so satisfying. But for lunch we ordered from a la crate menu and all the 3 days we had best food. Dal makhani is super taste and worth trying. Service is good but bit slow. The place is quite amazing with view especially when sun is about to set. Had great time!

The staff was the most co- operative and humble. As my father-in- law was just recovering from one the critical illness where he had to have a special diet and to our surprise, we were allowed to cook the same by Kitchen Chef. The food was cooked by my mother- in- law but the team had helped her so well as it was her own home kitchen.<br/><br/>However for non- vegetarian it will be treat but must try is mutton bhuna & laal maas & don’t forget the desert our most favourite Banana split.

Went here during my stay at Ram Pratap Palace, this place serves Good Food with amazing view and nice hospitality. I was very amazed with service and hospitality of Vijay Singh when he got us served with some khichdi and lemon water with taste just like we wanted when i wasn’t feeling well. Usually the Indian and Chinese veg Cuisines i had tried, both were upto mark. Must visit this place for beautiful fateh sagar lake view Lunch or Dinner 👍

Worst place!! I would never recommend this place to anyone! It's just for the view this place is surviving! For main course we ordered Lal maas that was below average and "DAL MAKHANI" that was actually shit! Yeahh it was full of ''BUGS''. We went here for dinner which is dimley lit outdoor seating as it was candle light. More famous for non- veg food. Had ordered laal maas and veg jalfrezi for main course. Laal maas was good.. the veg dish was average. In dessert we ordered cheesecake and brownie with ice cream. Cheese cake was very dense and not fluffy at all. Would not recommend it.. but brownie was much better.

Fantastic. One of the most satisfyng lunch meals i've had there. We ordered kadai paneer, gobhi parantha, tawa fulka and raita. Service was really good, and the view and the ambience is so beaitiful. Loved the food.

5 star for ambience and location but 1 star for service and 3 star for food. I went along with my parents for a dinner. We ordered North Indian which was good and egg curry was ok types. So if u plan to go order breads all at once otherwise you would have to wait like I did and the food gets cold by the time it comes.

Right at the Fateh Sagar lake with an excellent view of the lake ... set up was good with tables at decent distance ... but thats it .. Food isnt at that great ... its just normal ... we ordered veg spring roll, paneer tikka masala , garlic naan .. nothing great about the food but not bad either !! Beer was super chilled though !! Recommended for beer and bites !! Service is a little slow considering only 2 tables were occupied !!

Must try.<br/>Methi malai matar - enough for 2 people. Tasted was very smooth and nice.<br/>Cheese naan - cherry on the cake.<br/><br/>Overall, a definite must try.

Amazing ambience and view .. it’s a huge place and pretty quiet one .. we had ordered for Non Veg Assorted platter and that tasted so delicious... please try it .. In main course we tried Chicken Kadhai and Naan. Both were delicious. Overall food was superb. But the service and staffs is not at all good. Staffs are rude. Service is super slow.

Loved the food. I was here about a year ago, and trust me, those chilly nights gave a good memory of the absolutely amazing food served there and the prompt service. It's a perfect outdoor dining area for dates or a family gathering. Candle light dinner and the chilling breeze, one couldn't ask for more.

Good ambience and lake view..with candle light dinner.We had the lousiest food ever and .we ordered pasta and sizzler together. a pesto pasta which was no pesto sauce but spinach paste included.Then we ordered the veg sizzles the presentation was horible with oil and no rice but only french fries with entire capscicum entire full tomato and lots of broocoli...Photos attached of the presentation of this dish..On top we were charged for wrong dishes and taxes heavy as 8.75% which is wrong and staff and manager did not have the courtsey to even apologise.Being zomato gold i was denied and told they dont know anything...on this..<br/>This restuarant is owned by 4star Fateh sagar hotel they are fooling people this way..<br/><br/>

To start with positives, the food and the view is undoubtedly good. Again on the lake, so has to be good. Ordered a Paneer Makhani which was really good with its authentic spices and flavour. The peanut masala was well prepared too. Now, onto the negatives- Almost EVERY TABLE has spiders beneath it. That's something that can't be accepted with people coming from all over. Waiters, a little slow in responding even when I was asking them for a table to sit. This is the DIFFERENCE in Ambrai and Raaj Bagh. Overall experience- somewhere between good and Excellent. Surely a lot less than Awesome.

Decent Restaurant. Food was delicious. Lake view is awesome but need to improve cleaning of tables. Spider webs are hanging under the tables sometimes you can see them on table. Because of it’s location near lake mosquitoes make you experience really sucks.

Awful food, bad service, lethargic servers.<br/>Ordered dal makhni - never eaten worse dal makhni, it was ubli daal with lot of spice. <br/>Laal Maas - masala was not cooked properly.<br/>Malai tikka - had no malai. <br/>Net net, no reason to visit, do it only if you are taking your enemy out.

View is great but the food isn’t good at all. Place can be visited for the view but not food. Staff is very less and not very comforting. Location is nice, approachable and comfortable.

Superb place for having lunch ! Taste is really jice and service as well ! <br/>Vijaysingh chundavat is amazing person he helped me selecting best items of the restro and even gave some complimentary gulab jamun !

Good food... Good ambience...Nituraaj was our food guide..He was excellent in suggesting food...the staff was great... We had great time.. Njoyed the lake view<br/>
