Good place to eat while you get a great view. The ambience is very nice and people are accommodating. They'll tell you about the options available and also if they can do something else. The vibe of this place is really nice. Food takes a bit of time to be served but it's worth the wait parathas and omlette are good options here.

A quiet place to sit and watch the dusk turn into night. Reasonable rates and a lovely staff. The entire place is done up very well, with a touch of the Hindu Ganesha and a bohemian feel. Also, the lovely cats Shiva and Shakti are a pet lover's delight along with a well kept aquarium. Overall, a low key place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city :)

Great place to just sit and enjoy the lake and sunset view. Not a very big grand place but yes ambience is nice and sufficient for you to just chill there. It is just next to the lane of the Lake so you can go to the roof and enjoy the lake view. Worth visit place to eat and chill. Taste and quantity wise the food was okayish.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The food was rich and high in flavour including with and without spice to cater to tastes. Our favourite was the Tandoori Cauliflower - Superb We also enjoyed cheap beers and special shakes which gave us a great night of fun and laughter.

The food is excellent and so is the staff.. decently priced. Soft lofi music. Next to the lake:

Great service, we met the owner and he gave us some recommendations from the menu. The mushroom masala curry was pretty good, and Hello to the Queen dessert was great. The mango lassi and coconut lassi were also delicious and the flavors tasted so real and fresh. Nice rooftop views

Great food and atmosphere, very relaxed with a great view - good if you also need to take shelter from the rain. Would definitely recommend to people visiting the area.

We have heard a lot about this place so we went to check out this popular cafe.
Food- We tried their Tandoori Gobhi, which was prepared by their owner itself very warmly. The dish was very spicy, tasty and flavoursome. It was served with some chapatis. We ordered Veg Biryani too, which was also a treat to our tastebuds.Overall, Food turned out satisfying our expectations.
Ambience- The most beautiful thing about this Cafe is it's ambience. I will suggest you to visit this place in the night. It provides a very scenic view of Lake Pichola twinkling with lights. The lighting of this cafe is too adjusted with the lake and It provides you a wonderful place for Candle Light Dinners. You must take your partner here for such an experience!
Service- Their staffs were very friendly, co-operative and always looking out to help you. Service is too really quick and satisfying.

The owner was very rude we are talking to him and he is arguing with us when we are trying to explain to him about what gravy we wanted. We ordered for a aloo gravy he got malai mixed vegetables. This hotel chraps people he served us chapattis and said it was naan and charged us 50rs .Worst restaurant I have eaten in my life. They cheat Indians then imagine foreigners. We had 2 naans and 1gravy paid 509rs cheap quality food and unclean kitchen

Simple place, Great veg food. Only reason of not giving 5 star was there were only 2 peoples managing the entire restaurant but they did it pretty well.

This place is ideal, best combination of lake view with reasonable rates of food.
Taste is more than expectations.
We was 3 pax and we never order so much, we just ordered Malai kofta and tanduri paneer with butter chapati. The gravy of vegetables was so rich and taste was delicious, and chapati was so soft like our home made chapati.
Rate is not high as other lake view restaurants.
Restaurant desert 5/5. Must visit.

We found this out of the blue while searching for good food options during our trip. It's on second floor and have fantastic view on that rainy day. We were tired with kid and just ordered main course and one Chinese dish. It took long time for delivery but upon inquiring we got to know that the food was prepared fresh upon order. Finally when we tasted it, it was all worth the wait. Roti was good. Paneer dish was good. Noodles were also awesome. What more....we asked for small cube of cheese for my kid and that also was given with love. Thank you all there.... keep the tradition of serving with heart alive !

What An Amazing Cafe It Is! We went to have our lunch there and was amazed to witness the view from the cafe. Speaking of the ambience, great seating arrangement, clean bathrooms, great piece of decoration and wall art, excellent.
The food on the other hand was justified to the amount we paid for it. Tandoori gobhi is what you should have with butter naan.
Totally recommended. 👍

Should be an institution as the place is more than 25 years old, The Location is superb which is the key of a successful restaurant, right in the heart of the city Chandpole. Ambience is superb, the set up, the music which is being played in background, the colours they have used. Service is very decent, price is also very decent and the taste!!!!!!!!! Man! So unique in terms of flavours, not an usual taste which comes from the regular cashew tomato based gravy. So different, the spice they use are a very unique blend. Truly a place which deserves more and more popularity.

Crooks.Went there in 26th Jan 18 at 8.30 pm to have dinner got a seat sat down and there were almost five more tables empty rest all were filled by foreigners. A guy comes up and tells us that all the seats are booked and that I cannot serve you. There is no way that all the five tables could be booked he just did not want to serve indians. To confirm i again called at 10.00 pm and spoke in Hindi and asked him if any tables was empty to this he replied it's not possible today no tables are empty. Such ppl and establishment do not need to exist here in india

Stupidity. Just now me n my family sat at the restaurant ready to order. V sat no one came to visit and suddenly when we wer just about to say something a person comes over and says this place is full please leave. There were 4 seats empty but coz it was all foreigners around they don’t prefer indians .
Really nonsense
After a long day spent exploring Udaipur, me and my wife were looking for a light dinner close to our place of stay and we thought to give this place a try.
This place is easy to locate, has a nice lake view and the ambience was quite soothing too with some good music being played. Ambience - 4/5
Now, coming to the food, we ordered lime soda, paneer fried chilly and veg biryani. I was expecting a decent lime soda but what they came up with was mixture of lime juice and salt in a glass and a bottle of soda for us, requested for some sugar too which they provided. After some time, they also got us paneer fried chilly. While paneer cubes were fresh and soft, it could not compensate for the excess use of salt and soya sauce in the dish. The last and the most important dish was veg biryani, which was the biggest disappoint for us. If anything, it was an average road side veg fried rice with no flavor and richness of spices expected in veg biryani. Food - 1/5
Regarding service, i can rate it max as 2/5 for the guy who took our order and prepared it too. One guy was busy scrolling his fon while customers were trying to catch his attention.
Overall, it was quite a disappoint, hope they try to fix their issues and revisit their menu preparations.

The food was delicious, very cheap, and the overall experience was quite satisfying. I have ordered the potato sandwich with cheese as well as butter chapati (which I don't recommend -was almost the same as regular plain chapati-) . My friends ordered jam sandwiches, egg sandwiches and cheese chapatis which they found delicious. And others just made custom orders of indian food that wasn't on the menu. The guys there are very sweet and kind, and the setting is incredible. If you are in Udaipur, then a breakfast at this super cheap, super friendly place is a definite must!

Ordered egg bhurji, veg noodle soup and red pasta. The quantity of the food was good. I like spicy food that's why I didn't like the food to that extent, they mainly get visited by foreigners that's why they make the dishes less spicy. The ambience was magnificent, I visited the restaurant during the evening and enjoyed the lake view as well as the interiors of the restaurant. The staff was also very helpful. They don't accept online transactions and we were running out of cash so they sent on of their workers to escort us to the nearby ATM.

Restaurante aconchegante (as fotos não transmitem a beleza do lugar), com staff incrível, comida deliciosa e preço camarada. Melhor custo benefício pra quem quer comer e curtir a qualquer hora do dia.

Lovely ambience, great food with an amazing view of the lake.
The rooftop was decked up with dim lights and great collection of music.
Tried Malai Kofta and Tandoori Gobi which was by far the best I've had ever!!
The owner Chirag is a one man army and I must say he does a great job at managing everything.
Located on the 3rd floor of a small building in the bylanes next to Lake Pichola, Chirag Restaurant is a small cosy outlet run by a single person (with some help), who takes the order, cooks and bills you.
The biggest advantage was that, whatever ordered (though the menu was not too expensive or exotic) was cooked absolutely fresh, in first in first out order.
The noodles, pancakes and pizzas were brilliant. Since this doesn't get the rush like upre and ambrai, they let you eat in peace all day if you like, looking at the serene lake.
