The food here is both healthy and scrumptious. We had peri peri pizza, italiano pizza, frankies and malai kofta with lachha paratha. Pizza italiano tasted very fresh and satisfied our taste buds. Malai kofta was also perfectly soft and creamy. Overall loved the food.

Based on the good reviews we decided to visit this place for a healthy and tasty lunch and we were fully satisfied with our experience. This is a comfortable restaurant in a central location . Coming to the food we had millets aloo tikki which is a chaat item and it was very unique and tasty. The millets soup was tasty and all of us enjoyed it. The highlight of the day was soya chaap dhaba curry which was one of the best soya curry I have ever tasted , The soya was so soft and tasty and gravy was very flavourful. It went very well with the millet roti and butter roti which we had ordered. for the prime location the rates were pretty reasonable. We also appreciate the passion which the staff showed for the millet concept and healthy lifestyle which they are promoting. overall a great experience...

Quite an amazing place to have dinner/lunch with Family. Never thought the dishes made from millets will be so tasty. Millet Aloo tikki, Millet Bhel and Millet Soup are must try. Really liked the concept of using Millets in every possible menu items.

Yes!!!!!!!! Of course you are siting in the India’s top 6th number healthiest restaurant. It’s a hidden gem located near to sajjangarh palace and far from the main city. Interior and exterior is basic Rajasthani architecture and the restaurant cover mostly by the plants so you can feel that you are so closer to nature. Sitting arrangements good and many options.(outdoor sitting, indoor sitting, rooftop sitting). Staff is so nice and lovely in nature. They provide the best possible service and the sense of communication also good. Here, mostly all the items made by using millets. Even price also reasonable. I tried signature dishes like 1)Blue mojito 2)vanilla ice cream mojito 3)millet chaat (made by using 30% potatoes,50% millets,20% vegetable and sauces) 4)Besan gatte ki sabji 5)Tanduri butter roti(Made by using Whole wheat)(Note-They don’t provide Chapati roti unless and only you’re aged or below 12 years and if you need Maida tanduri roti then go with naan) 6)buttermilk (Purely made by using curd) 7)Tomato soup (purely tomatoes and spices)(test is just yummy) 8)Masala papad 9)paneer tikka( tangy test) 10)Daal bati(4 pieces baati,1 churma ladu, lasan and red chilly chatni, kadhi ,dal and onion) we went for lunch and dinner. Chef take time to prepare food as the made most of the items from scratch. Enjoy your great company during that time. I never tried this kind of healthy and testiest food ever before.

In a world obsessed with just taste, Millets of Mewar is literally an oasis which provides you with nourishing yet lip smacking food. Vikram, their manager was extremely courteous and guided us well on which foods to try. We had some wonderful conversations around food. We particularly liked their millet tikki and millet italiano pizza. We would love to try more of their recipies next time around.

this place is working on an amazing concept of promoting healthy eating habits by including millets in their dishes, the view of Sajjangarh from their roof top while eating delicious food made my day. They have amazing staff members who made me feel like im at home.

Best place to have dinner with friends family and loved ones. The ambience is too good, you can have dinner on the roof top also along with the ground floor hall. We ordered millet bhel chat , millet veg biryani (made from bajara) , dal tadka, malai kofta (red gravy) , tandoori butter roti with laccha Paratha. Taste is best. I wanted to taste every possible authentic flavours of Rajasthan, so went to this place for lunch. It was on the other side of lake. Must say a bit over hyped.

It has seating on 2nd and 3rd floor, rooftop is not that good in terms of view. Staff is very less. We were not even offered water on there own.

Biggest negetive point is slow service, we waited for like ages to get our food. All was served at once. Food was decent, but the quantity is a bit less. But I guess its famous among foreigners.

This place is a must visit in udaipur. You can have a great roof top experience along with lakeside view. The food is really very good specially millet chaat and millet khichdi.

4 star for ambience
4 star for food taste
3.5 star for service

One of the best Dal Baati Thali I had with cosy saeting arrangement and breezy air. Will definitely visit again

One of its kind place considering the options it offers. Several vegan choices on the menu and there's different levels of seating. The lake view is recommended if available. The pad thai noodles were excellent with several vegetables fused beautifully. The mushroom and fresh olives pasta was a standout with a tangy flavour and great use of spices. Their pancakes are also soft and fluffy. The peanut stew was slightly bland. Service here takes a long while but the relaxed ambiance ensures that it doesn't feel like a stretch.

Bon Appétit

Amazing food. Dal batti chorma (Rajasthani thali) is delicious. White sauce pasta was very good.
Snehal Dhote
We had brunch here, we ordered margherita pizza, daal bati churma, lemon rice, veg cheese sandwich, aloo tikki and multigrain veg wrap. Everything was delicious. Especially loved the daal bati churma, veg cheese sandwich, aloo tikki and the multigrain wrap - they were amazing. I highly recommend them!
The lemon rice was not the typical south-indian lemon rice, it had pomegranate in it and was not as sour as it should have been. Also, there was only one person managing 2-3 tables so the service took a little time.
Apart from that, I totally loved the place - overlooking the beautiful Pichola lake, and the taste! They also had an extremely naughty cute little kitten, who welcomed us. The ambience of the place was so good!

Lovely breakfast

Jan 1: MoM was just a few blocks away from our hotel - Karohi Haveli. We walked up the stairs to the terrace - typical winter morning - cold but with the sun out.

We started with orange and orange carrot ginger juice. After the previous night drinking, this was a good start to detox. Stuffed paratha served with curd and aachar was yummy. Burrito tasted good. Paneer and sweet corn roll was okay. The service was good.

Recently I been to this nice cozy restaurant call Millets of Mewar, I tried few of their dishes. One is Millet veg pakoda and lemon coriander soup both I liked very much. This is nice place to hangout and good concept too. This restaurant offers many vegan and gluten free dishes also. Nice and frendly staff.

Millets of Mewar is located near Hanuman ghat, outside chandpol. This restaurant is located adjacent to our hotel. Their concept is totally based on millets and organic ingredients. We ordered Dal bati churma and veg biryani with raita. Dal bati churma was amazing, specially I loved that Ker sangri pickle. Veg biryani was great with thick raita and all those vegetables. Ambience was cool with lake view and staff was friendly.

This food honestly makes me speechless. It is pure medicine: nourishing, healing and delicious. If you are looking for beautiful food filled with healthy ingredients and loads of vegetables then this is a must. Once I discovered the spot I came three days in a row, Sad I'm leaving Udaipur tomorrow! Although I love Indian curries it was such a relief to find food that wasn’t overloaded with oil and salt. I also enjoyed a delicious customized Mixed herbs tea, and of course it was beautiful as well. The owners is a genuinely good human being. They creates these dishes because they believes in the power of food. Eat here
!

Millets of Mewar believe in the power of food to inspire good health, good conversation, and environmental consciousness. The ingredients they use are organic, gluten free and raw. Rooftop sitting is just awesome. Wall paintings, musical instruments, wooden furniture, ground sitting on cushions relaxes you in a bit different way!!

From their daily special menu we tried Millet Aloo Tikki:- Crispy millets tikki with sauces. Local millet is used instead of wheat and rice. Creative & Authentic.
Bhel Chaat :- We all know it. Puffed rice with mix of veggies and tangy flavours. Healthy & palatable

You don't come to Millets for just a healthy affordable authentic meal but also because of the connection you feel with the place & team after a single meal. Manoj and Sunny are great hosts and skilled Foodpreneurs. Food at Millets is remarkably fresh , healthy and full of regional as well as global flavours. Menu is designed beautifully and does a good job in telling millets story as well as portraying wide array of options ranging from regional to allergen free food options like gluten free and vegan. Our favourite so far is Gatte ki sabzi with Bajra roti. They took special care in making our sabzi free of any chillies as per request. Multi grain wraps and millet tikki are a must too for starters. Great place with good vibes. Hope they can keep it like this.

Wonderful sitting arrangement and excellent food! This place offered a mewar flavour through the entire experience. If I come back to Udaipur, I will surely visit this place again.

In the very interiors of the Udaipur city, lies a restaurant levelled up on various vegan, paleo and vegetarian varieties to choose from. Except from the slow service, they do justice to the ordered dishes. The ambience round is great with the Pichola lake view and humble staff members. Gluten-free and rich in diet foods come at a reasonable price. Everything is locally sourced and organically made (that's what the menu said). Do try their Nutella-Banana Pancakes and Mango Date Shake along with the Millet Aalu Tikki. Avoid the wraps though.
Mohita Roongta
We had Aloo tikki, pad Thai gaya curry, Multigrain roti and butter milk. Food is very healthy and delicious. The staff was a little non communicative though. But all was forgotten when we digged in the food.

Its a very small place in interiors of old city..hard to find it..plus they dont know their locality well...use google maps n go walking otherwise u gonna miss it.. the place is not well organised for a decent number of people.. Went for lunch after seeing all the reviews.. They dint had any rajasthani food available...no daal bati or any curries...a bad day may be...however we had the best panner butter masala and healtiest of breads....millets n multigrain....biryani was also good not mindblowing....overall 3 for Food only....should hire some staff...1 person caters manages and cleans....

This restaurant uses local, raw, vegan, gluten-free, and organic ingredients in its global dishes.
Local millet is used where possible instead of wheat and rice at this environmentally aware, slow-food restaurant. There are vegan options, gluten-free dishes, fresh salads, and juices and herbal teas. Also on the menu are multigrain sandwiches and millet pizzas, plus regular curries, Indian snacks, pasta and pancakes.
Rohit Raguwanshi
This type of food packed by millet of mewar very poor i really disappointed to this restaurant. I order one coke and one pizza but they send only pizza.
Kumar Saurabh
Nice and calm ambiance. Perfect for breakfast. A setup similar to one of the hippy cafes. Location is the advantage, with great views of Lake Pichola. Multiple kind of seating available, chair-tables and floor as well. Food is reasonably priced and the staff is nice. Fruit bowl as breakfast was worth the penny. However, cleanliness needs to be worked upon as tables were not clean.

The place has delicious food and a great vibe to it. We were in udaipur for 3 days and ended up eating here everyday. The chef/owner is a great guy and indulged us in some great conversations. Do try their lemontoe , dal bhati and gatte ki sabzi.
One can feel that the food has been prepared with loads of love :)

A gem in the midst of the small and cutesy Udaipur Streets. Food is super yum. Service is good. Jain food served with extra care and attention. Good vibes.

Had a really bad experience at this restaurant. No one came to take my order or to serve water for a good 15 minutes. When water came, it was dirty and I couldn’t drink it. When I complained, they made their displeasure very obvious. At one point, one person literally threw the bill book, gave me the debit card back and asked me to go downstairs and get it done. That’s not all, I came back with a bout of food poisoning! Yes I don’t know if they did this on purpose, but they served me contaminated food. Go at your own risk!
Nupur Raghav
One the very best experiences I had in Udaipur. Can You imagine a place that beautiful and so leveleed up on vegan, paleo and vegetarian options? This place is a must visist for everyone! I would love to Go back to them when I visit Udaipur again.

Good food and warm welcome . located near to the lake and not far from city
nice ambience.
Would suggest others to try once. Roof top also available.

Class apart. Excellence in everything - Healthy vegan food, taste, smell, looks and lake view is literally cherry on the top. The staff is friendly and willing to adjust the meal as per individual requirements. I also spend time with the founder-owner of the restaurant - He is full of energy and love for this genuine most needed service for society to serve healthy organic food.
Dilpreet Singh Sabharwal
Amazing and a healthy experience. I have been there last week during my trip to Udaipur. I have tried fresh Apple dates shake and Muesli. A rare heaven for vegans in Udaipur. The ambience and the interiors are totally aspiring. Try their variety of millet paranthas. The host Surendra (Sunny) is an amazing personality himself. Love the overall experience. Highly recommended for vegans and health conscious folks.

Millets of Mewar was a cute lil place in Udaipur I visited with my friends. My favourite place here was their pizza. Ordered 3 portions of it. The pasta was good and so were the sandwiches. The ambience and vibe was pretty chill. In all, a nice experience.

Great food! Every dish we had was amazing, the behl chat was amazing and the butter masala paneer and eggplant curry was awesome, the chapati’s weren’t anything special but they are all gluten free so it wasn’t too bad. The view is also good if the lake and city palace

a must visit place, one gets the top notch quality food and service from staff. you would end up wanting to bring back home a bit of it's wonderful experience like me.

Love everything about this place. Cozy/informal dining on the second floor, formal seating on the third. I love supporting the mission of this place - good food, good for the people that grow it and eat it, and good for the earth that sustains it all. The food and drinks are delicious and the prices are pretty moderate for the quality of service and food. Sonny, the owner, is super friendly and a great person to connect with. He opened up his restaurant to my large group of students many times and also did a film screening for us. Highly recommend.
Somya Aggarwal
Great interiors. Good food. Great host.
A bit on the expensive side.
Daal fry was tasty.
Ghee chapati was so soft & sleek.
Also loved buttermilk served by them.
Would be happy to visit again...

Guess how many days I visited this place in my three day trip to Udaipur? The answer is All Three Days because it's so worth it. And yes, to those who love exploring food, this should be definitely on your list.

My first meal was breakfast at this place. Eating at one of the India's few healthy restaurants who have made the choice of cooking from locally sourced, organic, fresh ingredients is in itself worth applauding. Good food is simple food . As the legendary Chef said "good food is most often , even most often simple food."
The "simple" parathas which i had along with banana shake was lighter in palatte. The simple yet flavourful paratha reminded me of Home made food. The dahi served along with paratha was finger-licking good unlike commercially produced dahi often served in restaurants, this place stays true to what it claims. The banana shake gave me uplifting energy to explore Udaipur.
The staff is very amazing. As a solo backpacker, I thrive on interactions and I could have been easily bored but staff with their amazing talks which lasted for more than an hour made me feel no stranger . Thank you Ajay and Bablu .
Other than the breakfast I also went for dinner along with my hostel mate. We ordered for dal batti combo and Millets of mewar pulav. Even though we went around closing time but they were very glad to serve. We were seated at the rooftop area with a beautiful view of lake and city palace. The batti combo is limited here unlike other restaurant but its more than enough for dinner. Pulav is served with raita. Only thing which my hostelmate didnt like about the pulav was the raw tomato slices and long french beans. But the issue didn't undercut the experience of having a good meal.
I wish restaurant more success and lead the Healthy, organic ,gluten free, vegan food campaign across and thank them for taking us into a joy ride of true rajasthani gastronomic experience with love, care and smile.
And not to mention, I will be back to indulge more to this gastronomic experience .😊🙏❤

Must try - pad thai noodles . Good service, kind staff and reasonable price. Open to air cafe with nice view. Value for money .Must visit Millets Of Mewar .

This place is hidden in bylanes near Ambrai Ghat on opposite side of City Palace.

Lemon Coriander Soup - Nice and different taste. The pieces of Sweet Carrots, Lemons etc were evident in the soup.

We ordered Several Tamator Sabzi, Gluten free Wheat Rotis, Garlic Wheat Rotis - All we're tasty and Rotis were soft.

Vegetable wrap - Base was made of multigrain dough. It had good amount of vegetable stuffing but oil was flowing out literally on to the plate. It was ok in taste. Served with Green Chutney.

Rice with Vegetable and Peanut butter stew - Plain rice served with White vegetable stew. It was bit sweeter on taste. Peanut butter and coconut milk tastes were oozing out.

Banana Lassi - Bananas we're extremely raw and the Yogurt was very sour. Very poor.

Service was very slow. As we were sitting on top floor, no permanent waiter was available and we were screaming thru the stairs for all the Dishes.
Charlie's Angel
We were looking for some place to have traditional rajasthani food and happened to come across this place hidden in the other side of the lake. The roof top gives a decent view of the city palace and the lake. We ordered dal bati churma and were thoroughly pleased with the quantity and quality of the food! The dal was delicious and the bati equally good! Churma left a nice flavour in our mouth! Their chach (buttermilk) is good though the banana lassi was a little disappointing. A must visit for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Rajasthani dal bati churma! 😊

Excellent! Didnt expect it to be so good and in Udaipur!!!loved the food and relaxed atmosphere with soft music... Do sit in their japanese styled seating... The top floor is great as well

I would eat here every day if I could. We were exploring the city of lakes Udaipur and wanted to eat good food, we found Millets of Mewar was near us and had a good rating, so we walked in. The small cozy joint draws your attention immediately. The Owner and Shef Sunny was an amazing host. He also introduced us to his cat, Doremon. :) The Food was great! Specially Kadhai Paneer, fulkas, and Ma ki Biryani :). We loved the place and hospitality.

We went to all Upres & Ambrais but the only restaurant which managed to surprise us in Udaipur was this quaint li'l joint. Both food and service are excellent. Special mention to their millet cookie sandwich with ice cream, which was so yumm!!
Gaurav Tiwari
Had a Thai curry with rice and Dal Bati Churma both are awesome and delicious. Ambience was very good and exotic, this restaurant has roof top with pichola lake view.
.

Udaipur is filled with restaurant that speaks volume about Rajasthani hospitality and Greta cuisine. While in search for something unique for my udaipur trip, I stumbled upon this absolute gem. On the banks of Hanuman ghat, the place oversees Lake Pichola. What makes them stand out is the way they have explored the Rajasthani cuisine and integrated the. health factor in it. Their menu is clearly unique (including the menu card itself), has great options for breakfast and lunch. They use whole grain, whole heartedly and there is a distinct flavor they bring into day to day cuisine of Rajasthan.

Their decor is also fabulous and have multiple seating options. We went there for Breakfast and they managed to do things that I usually dont. I had sweet in thr morning, which I usy avoid. Their Nutella banana Pancake is as good as I have ever tasted. I couldn't resist taking more bites. We ordered Veg sandwich. While I didn't even have to tell them to make the sandwich in multigrain bread, it has almost all possible filling in it. The mint chutney that accompanied it was fresh and strong, very unique again, cause you get mint chutney every corner of this country, and yet this guys outdone Most of the restaurants.

If i ever go to Udaipur, I am bringing hordes of people here. For tourist looking for a good meal in Udaipur, don't think twice and head to this place. You will be amazed.

Came across this place near to the hotel I was staying in Udaipur. Went in for Lunch on my last day and although they had multiple cuisines, settled for a Rajasthani Thali and was not disappointed for sure.

The food was simple but tasty and the dal-bati-churma, rice-kadhi were all bang on. Service was quick and I found the staff helpful.
The joint seems to be foreigners' fav as I was the only Indian at that time of the hour.
Definitely recommended over some of the other fancy places around Lake Pichola esp at day time.
Ashish Lodha
Good food and friendly staff. But not a lot of variety. Plenty of options for health conscious people. But not a place if you’re looking for a lot of variety.
Manicka Saravanan
This is a vegetarian restaurant on the lanes Hanuman ghat in Udaipur. They are having two floors, first one with seating on the floor and the second floor has tables.
No non vegetarian food on offer. The ambience was good with nice music, polite staffs. Ordered Cashew curry, multi millet bread and cucumber mint lemon juice.

The bread and the curry were good meanwhile the juice was a let off, it's more of a smoothie.
P.S: This restaurant was also listed among one of the healthiest in India sometime back.

This place was recommended and I decided to try it. I ordered the eggplant curry and the corn garlic cheese chapati. I was disappointed with the bread because it was dry with no garlic and cheese that wasn’t melted, but the curry was fantastic. Also, I ordered a beer and after the waiter poured it into my glass I found flies floating in it. They offered to filter it. The place was okay but I will probably try a new restaurant for dinner.

I had high expectations from this place and it totally lived upto it. They offer a lot of choice in healthy food with decent preparation. Great place to sit as well. Ambience is very soothing and casual. Nice place for a casual hang out and to have lunch.

Loved the place and the Ambience, Leminto Drink is a must try, a bit expensive as compared to the quantity served, but it's okay to be here once in a while! And ofcourse there coffee is one of the finest in Udaipur!

Very disappointed. Millets of Mewar had no Mewari food available. The ambience was not so great. Decided to choose another place for lunch..

I went to this place around noon time. The ambience is on point. And the food is tasty. Must visit if you are around. I orders a Mediterranean salad, must try banana and date shake and veg biriyani. With the ambience everything jelled my well. The sitting are so casual which add to the vibe

I like the place, the environment. But the foods are average. To sit there and have a good time, you can go and try this place. The sitting arrangement is unique .

Food quality was good. This hotel is only for veg food , you wont get non veg here. Veg with limited options. Service wise i did not like it..

In the bustling streets of Udaipur, found this amazing foodie place - Millets of Mewar.

Listed in India's top 11 healthy food joints, this place offers a delicious menu with Lake Pichola
view and a comfy sitting arrangement with pillows that makes you feel at home.

Our favourite few: Thai curry with brown rice, leminto Pad Thai noodles, White sauce pasta.
After a tiring day in old Udaipur I decided to have my dinner at millets of Mewar which are specialising in vegan food. It's a little bit on outskirts barely 5 to 10 minutes walking distance after crossing the bridge need to ask somebody so that you get a perfect direction .. they have kept direction boards of their restaurant also.. amazing view amazing food and amazing ambience.. I found Staff less attentive because they were busy on their mobiles and chit chatting.. tried the Red Thai curry and orange Ginger carrot juice and red pasta.. loved red Thai curry and the juice. If you want to stay on a diet and you want to treat yourself with good healthy food this place is a perfect option ..

Its situated near Hanuman Ghat has partial lake view
it has two floors on 1 it has seating on floor the other has table chair seating.. its has nice ambiance but then i din find it peaceful as you can't get disconnected with the city chaos.. continuous blowing of horns and the chitter chatter goin on road don't let you enjoy. It is a place for health conscious people as they make organic healthy food.. al the vegans must visit here.
I din found the food that tasty , it might be healthy but not that tasty.

Ambient and food is good and healthy. Staff here is extremely polite and friendly. Pad thai and Leminto drink are a must try. The only problem here is the quantity of food they serve. It is not in equilibrium with the rates. Rest, best place for vegan cookies.

Pathetic is not the word which is suitable to describe my experience with this restaurant. They refuse to deliver food even though they have mentioned delivery option, over that they ask to come and pick it up if interested.
Pizza I ordered was no where close to pizza, horrible taste and it was cold(I was staying just 2mins away). It tasted very bad and I guess even the dough they used was very old as it wasn’t even chewable. Won’t suggest it to anyone.

The place has a relaxed and airy ambience.
The food is not only great but also very healthy. Service is a bit slow, but that gets compensated by the presence of some very courteous staff.

This is one restaurant I loved in Udaipur. The food is not at oily just like we like. Their dal Bati is delicious. The Thai curry is yummy. The chapatis are good. The vegetables are average. The chocolate banana pancake was freshly made and tasty. They do serve beer too.
The stff is courteous but very slow. They do not come to you unless u call them.

The food was pathetic. The served the sabzi and went out to buy atta to make chappatis. It took them 45mins to prepare dal n sabzi n were asking for more 20 mins to get the rotis. And on the top of it, they have poor hospitality skills. Will never recommend any for such a place.

Nearest to Pichola Lake by the side of the footover bridge.
Good service, Good Ambience, Good Food. Healthy Food. Good music.

We tried Mewar Rajasthani Thali. The Thali is perfect for one person. One side of the lake was visible from 2nd floor. Different sitting arrangements in 1st and 2nd floor. Value for money.

Pathetic Service and tasteless food.

They served vegetables without breads and served breads after 15 minutes. On top of that manager is arrogant. Need to learn cooking AS we’ll as hospitality.

Staff was very cooperative as it was the birthday party for my husband..tomato soup as starter was just delicious and bhel chat was also good...main course was also tasty though they don't have so many options the only thing which ruined our taste was the biryani which looked so yummy but it was so bad...
Overall it was a good experience with a good side view of the lake and gangaur ghat..

Reasons you should visit Millets of Mewar:

1.This place is situated at hanuman ghat which gives a partial lakeside view.
2.The food served is gluten free, healthy and organic yet tasty.
3.They serve a variety of cuisines including continental as well as rajasthani cuisine.
4.The food is not heavy on the pocket and is perfect for backpackers and tourists.

I particularly enjoyed the perfectly made malai kofta that is a must have here.
Also worth ordering is their dal fry and buttermilk.

Coming back surely on my next visit:)

The hotel's description says that they deliver food but they refused service when I called them. Was very disappointed and I would not recommend this place.

We had a thali and a mushroom pizza. Both were good. Food did look like healthy food. Didn't feel that full which I feel after eating cheese which was good.
