Loved it. Was recommended by one of my closest friends, and man! He was damn right about the place. Ambience is superb, nice cozy and relaxing. Service is fine just fine. Dishes were perfect, as they should be.

This place serves delicious North Indian food<br/>One of it's specialities is that it's a roof top situated near city palace and gives a delightful view<br/>Palak malai ka bharta is a mouth watering dish which is served with corns<br/>They also had a chaach which was good too
Mudit Acharya
The food is good, but the place is very small to accommodate the city palace going crowd. The service could be much better. Had to wait over 40 minutes to get our food.

guide told me to visit this place.<br/>avoid this place even if your guide asks you to eat at this place hundred times.<br/><br/>i just travelled from kerala to udaipur and i know what a dosa tastes like.<br/><br/>i visited this place because of this guide. <br/>an indian family ordered something , which was stinking bad.<br/><br/>i had ordered a masala dosa.<br/>it was plane, simple sub-standard.<br/>i know what a dosa tastes like. <br/><br/>the guy rips off people. he thinks that travellers will visit this place one-time and he will getaway with it.<br/>that indian family suggested me to write atleast a review on zomato for other visitor's sake.<br/>so this is my only review at zomato.<br/><br/>thanks.<br/>p.s- udaipur is full of amazing places to eat. That family suggested me to visit place by seeing reviews at zomato, and order accordingly.<br/>it was a life saver at this place.

plain simple advice- avoid this<br/><br/>the food stinks.<br/>the guy cannot make even a good basic masala dosa .<br/><br/>guy rips off foreigners by aligning with local guides who brings them to him. i think foreigners don't know what a good indian dish is. they get literally ripped off, for some horribly sub-standard food at premium price just because of its proximity to city palace.<br/><br/>if you are reading this review while ordering, straightaway cancel the order and leave.  <br/><br/>search for better hygienic place.<br/>ps- if you will get a peak at cooking area , you will literally vomit your food out.

Short review-<br/>Avoid this restaurant at any damn cost.<br/>Even if you are dying of hunger and this was the only place with food.<br/><br/>Full review-<br/>There are two types memorable restaurants.<br/>One where there is excellent food and courteous service.<br/>One where there is worst food, stale, and staff is jerk.<br/><br/>This comes in later category.<br/>We ordered two "special of the day"<br/>Veg paties.<br/>The paties was stinking horribly. They just heated it in microwave and served.<br/>One bite and i nauseated.<br/>I returned it back.<br/><br/>2) carrot juice...also special of the day.<br/>The carrot juice was bitter. It didn't seemed fresh because it was very cold. Seems like made many hours ago.<br/>The guy is selling stinking unedible items as special of the day.<br/><br/>3) rajasthani thali.<br/>For my mom.<br/>U cannot expect a bad Rajasthani thali in rajasthan itself.<br/>But then thus guy is unexpectedly shameless.<br/>The baatis were black ,burnt.<br/>The buttermilk (chhaas) was horribly bitter, like it was from atleast 3 days ago.<br/>The guy was obsessed with bitter taste.<br/>The bitter taste was still lingering on my mouth for half hour, i had to drink whole bottle of mango drink to get rid of it.<br/><br/>When it came to bill.<br/>I asked guy why should i pay for veg pattice.<br/>The guy told me bluntly that "tumhare naseeb mai kharaab ayi to kya kare<br/>(Its your bad luck that you got the stale one.)<br/>Iske paise to hum nai katenge.<br/>(You will have to pay for stinking pattice)<br/><br/>The goon language was only tolerated because i was with my family. If i was with my friends i would have shown this idiot ,who was a bigger goon.<br/><br/>This review was written because the guy is located bery nearby to palace.<br/>All foreigners were getting ripped off.<br/>The guy sitting near me was from UK, he told me that his masala dosa was horribly bad.<br/>The guy had hired local guides to bring business to him.<br/>I think license of this guy to run a hotel should be cancelled.<br/><br/>This was the only bad experience i had at Udaipur.<br/><br/>Don't go here.<br/>Just don't go.<br/>I literally drank 3 bottles of probiotic drink fearing food poisoning.<br/>This cafe is a big blot near Udaipur palace.<br/><br/>

Absolutely rubbish. Who has written all these positive reviews? Talk to me. I went today. The cafe is making a fool of the tourists by claiming to be a rajasthani spot. Worst food ever
Sumeet
Quite a descent place for the price and taste of food. Went a few times while visiting Udaipur. A good collections of milkshakes and some descent pizza is what I really liked, but sandwiches were quite a try as well. definitely going back to this place when in Udaipur.

We ordered French toasts which were fresh and tasted delicious with the honey, as suggested by the manager. We also had Chilli Chicken which was okay, not that great. <br/>The service is amazing and the place is run by very corteous people. <br/>

Long Time Pending Review.. Heard 90% Positive reviews about this place... So went there with some friends... The place is cozy nothing much for decor but it houses a cafe, a bakery & a book shop which is quite nice... We ordered Multi grain Sandwich, Tandoori Paneer Cheese Pizza, White Sauce Pasta, Hot Chocolate, Potato Wedges, Hakka Noodles, Mango Shake, Peach Iced Tea, Tandoori Paneer Salad & Chocolate Pie..... Everything was delicious.... All paneer dishes were cooked perfectly... Sandwich was nice & coffee was also good... But the hero was the pizza.... Delicious...<br/><br/>Overall Verdict<br/><br/>Ambiance- Nice<br/><br/>Service- Good<br/><br/>Value- 1200 bucks for all the above & Sufficient Quantity..<br/>..

When in Udaipur, have your breakfast here. It's a small place but the food here is exceptional. <br/><br/>We were in Udaipur for 3 days, and out of which we had our breakfast for 2 days here. Amazing place :)
Sandip Vazirani
It's a hidden gem. Located close to city palace entrance, it's the place to go for non-indian food like pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. They've got some amazing lassis and coffees too. Good crowd, decent ambiance and apt service not to be forgotten.
Panda.sunita
Located in the very heart of the shopping street bang opposite to Jagdish Mandir.Small cafe in midst of a very busy lane, got numerous breakfast options , the Apple pie here is too good and a must try.
Dr.Ramesh Gaikwad
The looks are pretty decent.<br/>In the area its situated, it does stand out.<br/>Food wise i can say - its like home made burgers and beverages.<br/>Dont get the cafe feeling, but it reminds me of old eatery joints at hill stations.
Saloni
Govinda's cafe is very tiny cafe on the route of City palace. On our first visit to govinda's cafe we had ordered a cold coffee and a cappucino. The cold coffee was one of the best that I had till now. Later next day we had gone for breakfast and had ordered arabiatta pasta which was just yumm.. overall amazing place to chill and sip coffees..

Went for a light breakfast, had a Chicken Burger, a toast and a Sweet Lassi an was quite decent. Not the best burger but was okay.<br/>Lassi had less sugar but they were quick and courteous to fix it.<br/>Located right before the City Palace entrance, a good option for a quick snack.
Avani Sahajpal
Situated right outside the city palace, govinda's serves really good stuff at affordable prices.. They offer a wide range of delicacies.. Extremely courteous staff and super fast service. Their Pizzas, pancakes and coffees are extremely good. Must visit whenever in Udaipur. Deducting one mark for the not so fancy ambiance, otherwise a favourite whenever in udaipur.

A classic case of 'Looks don't matter', this little cafe tucked away on the road opposite the City Palace in Udaipur, is a great place to grab a quick bite. Sandwiches, parathas, juices, shakes, ice creams, it's clean, it's neat and has awesome food. Not surprisingly, there were a number of foreigners making their way to this cafe.
Shubham Saran
Nice cafe right outside the city palace. Only got a seat at breakfast else it is flooded with Firangs. Okay ambience but they serve excellent delicacies. We tried their cafe frappe and masala cheese omlette and both were quiet nice.

This cafe is located very close to entrance of Palace . Its a small cafe with numerous options from coffee to snacks. Food quality was good and managed to make a good cafe with the small place provided.
