Review Ambrai Restaurant - Udaipur

This restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance with an amazing decor and a gorgeous view from the dining area. However, be prepared for lengthy waiting times for table reservations, especially on weekends. It's advisable to make reservations well in advance, as waiting periods can extend to a week or more. Unfortunately, the manager's rude behavior and serious attitude issues were a notable drawback to an otherwise delightful dining experience.

The place has very good vibe. Make sure you are reaching on time as you may have to wait for the seating. Food options felt bit little less however, taste is good. We had a lake side table at the restaurant and the view of City palace and Taj Palace was really amazing.

The building, the outside dining area, the view, are all superb. The food was equally impressive. Three dishes and some bread shared by four adults was more than adequate. Prices are a little higher than average, but well worth it. I'll be back. To avoid disappointment book in advance.

Amazing location. Great food and service. The ambience gets even better with the devotional songs playing in the temple nearby. The only issue was reaching the place as the lanes are very narrow and most pvt vehicles cannot go till the end (as we were told). So had to take an auto to reach there. Yet, totally worth the effort! Dinner it is.

Great cocktails, great food, brilliant outdoor atmosphere. Very popular, so there is a wait, hence better to book early. The servers were very helpful and courteous, and the candlelight dinner was excellent.

Located at the banks of lake Pichhola, the restaurant provides the most needed atmosphere for a candle light dinner. It is one of the sought after restaurant near the lake. I recommend to book a reservation in advance to prevent waiting. The best way to reach here is either on a two wheeler or auto rickshaw due to narrow lanes.

🎂 I found this place quiet good and warm 🎂 Situated at the banks of lake pichola, it's really calm and soothing to sit around and gaze the Taj palace and city palace views during sunset 🎂 We ordered a cold coffee since we already went there after having lunch so wanted something light 🎂 price was high but the location and views made it worth it 🎂 cold coffee tasted good,.you can visit for once if you want 🎂 You can have a closer look at the Ambrai Ghat from here 🎈

Definitely the best view you can get of the lake. Probably the primary reason why ppl would visit this place. Cocktails are good. Food is not bad but takes a lot of time Approx 40-60mins. So, I’d suggest order everything at once as it will take a lot of time to arrive Very crowded in the evening and a bit peaceful during the day Alag time pe alag maza hai is jagah ka

Lovely food, had basil fish and lal mass with lacha parantha amazing preparation, beautiful overall atmosphere seating with the pichola lake made it a beautiful memory I could have easily sat there for whole night. Expect mesmerising views if visiting at night.

Nestled just at the lake, the restaurant is a great option for both lunches as well as dinner dates, specially if you are seeking out for candle light dinners. The food is real pricy, but each one of the dishes is good. The service is good, they are professional as well as efficient. Waiting time may vary, plus i tried calling and booking, which wasn’t possible. Some of the must try’s are laal maas, kebabs and kulfi.

Food: The food is absolutely delicious. The menu features a wide variety of Indian dishes. The paneer dishes are the best I've ever had. The portions are generous, and the prices are way above normal, but the quality of the food justifies it. Service: Excellent. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and they are always happy to make recommendations. They are also very patient and understanding, even when the restaurant is busy. Ambience: Elegant and sophisticated, and the restaurant is located overlooking Lake Pichola. I went in the afternoon as I couldn't get a reservation for the evening. So I would recommend making reservations a day prior for the evening, even though the restaurant can get quite busy in the evening. The view of the lake at sunset is absolutely breathtaking and worth it.

a very famous restaurant of udaipur , located on the lake , anyone who is in udaipur do visit this. I have visited this thrice. The place has beautiful views and perfect for pics. Food is good but not that great. Don’t expect much in intercontinental. Indian is good. They serve drinks with the view , which makes it worthy. Sat Sunday you got to be lucky to find a place. Be on time or you have to go back.
