Review Enigma - Udaipur

This place deserves a 5 start for everything in every aspect. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the experience and the ambiance. Everything was better than expectations. I would specifically like to mention the staff who very very friendly and sweet. They were playing pop music when we arrived but they changed it to Bollywood after we asked them to. We could enjoy to our fullest - we could dance. I will totally recommend this place as it is a must visit when you visit the city.

Must watch place. The vibes are Excellent due to the great rooftop view. Ambience is lovely, services are also fast. Other than main couse, Taste is average. Improvisation required for that.

Let's start rating this amazing dining journey on this day of dushera Location: situated at an amazing location surrounded by lake and a great access to all the private and public transport. Staff: very humble and cooperative. The Manager is nice and polite gentleman so is the staff. We were served by a sweet girl named Jyoti and welcomed by another sweet girl puja. Food: In terms of taste it's fresh with perfect balance of spice and fresh herbs. You will get some most exquisite dishes here I tried my hands on Baklava which was a perfect blend of dry fruits and honey. Drinks: We definitely asked you to try their cocktail range as I found it as one of of the decent place who have done justice to the cocktails taste without ruining it for us in any manner. Interiors (keeping the best at last):I was impressed with the aesthetic prevailing all over the place. The royalty of serving fine dinning can be explicitly experience here. I strongly recommend this place as once a visit restaurant if you are a foodie and want to experience the prime and royal vibes of Rajasthan. Price: This is a tricky one. For the experience we recieved it's a decent chargable place to visit the full meal for two will cost you around Rs.1500 and any cocktail combination will start for a price of around Rs. 750. Please note above prices are excluding taxes. So if you are planning to take your friends to experience Rajasthan royalty this is one place you must visit.

Excellent place to dine-in with family and friends. Interior and ambiance is world class. Roof top dinning is excellent. You can see lake pichola from roof top site. Quality of food is good and varieties are optimum. Over-all restaurant is perfect in all aspects. Prices are slightly overpriced.

I recently took my parents to this place for their 25th anniversary and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was perfect that made our celebration even more special. The service was impeccable, with staff who were prompt, attentive, and friendly. The location was convenient and easily accessible. The decoration they provided was very beautiful.Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking to make their special occasion unforgettable. Great ambience. Me and my friends visited the place of a cold weekday. The ambience was extremely calm and pleasing. On a good weather one can chill there for hours. The rooftop view is great and you can see City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake & Chunda Palace. The staff and the management wore masks during the pandemic however they weren’t trained properly. When asked about coffee availability they said yes and searching the menu but there was no coffee explicitly written on the menu. However the staff was extremely polite, quick with their service and courteous. I would appreciate if the management also made the menu digital with a QR code mainly due to COVID-19 but also because the restaurant ambience is dark. So a digital menu sounds practical. Coming to the food, the prices are a bit on the expensive side but it tasted well. There are no complains with the food. Everything cooked well and served hot.

Enigma is a wonderful and wonderful place. Here you will get to see many different interior designs The interior is very luxurious & Awesom I tell you about the food, then the rate of food is very high But the quality is superb and was very tasty. I ordered Mumbai raw sandwich and pizza Roof top restaurant is even more wonderful. Go with your friends & family it's a best or wonderful luxurious place but a bit expensive and great There will be a slight parking issue.

Gives a Royal Feeling, while having dinner in the hall. But the best part is it's 2 stage rooftops. 360° View from the rooftop is amazing at night specially city palace and lake pichhola looks superb from this place. Food is also good.

Had a great experience at the restaurant. Loved the food especially the chicken biriyani and the service was great. Mr.Vinod was the person attending to us and he offered very good service. I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for a great finedine experience with great view of Udaipur Pichola lake(especially the rooftop).

Best place in Udaipur in terms of Location, Ambience, Service, Food Quality!! Excellent staff service, all of them are very polite. Food Quality is superb & hygienic. Table booking is also available. Best time for take pictures is evening time 5 to 7.

Nice Ambience , nice views from roof top, best time to reach there is 6:00 pm in evening , so that mesmerising views can be seen. Good food , rates are bit high but it's ok for such a nice place. Veg & non-veg both are cool. Don't forget to have some liquid.

This restaurant's roof gives a awesome & mesmerizing view of lake and different hotels and restaurants nearby. The place is neat and clean with some antiques catching the eye. The environment too gives good and positive vibes. And yeah the last but not the least, Food serving is good by them; Food tastes tasty😋. It was a candle light dinner for me. You should go to all the restaurants by the side in the same locality.

The rooftop restaurant has a great ambience. Beautiful view of the lake, yummy food. We tried the Seekh Kebab, Shahi Murg Taj. Both were delectable. :).. Would love to visit again!

We tried the enigma for the first time last night and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. It was my mother's birthday and the staff decorated my table very nicely. The cake was yummy, my mom was super happy. Thank you enigma for making it special for her!

It is one of the best restaurants in udaipur at present. Only problem that i had was that their bar menu is very limited and thats not good. But we ordered dahi and anar k kabab. It was brilliant and it was too damn quick. We liked complimentary peanuts and papad. It is an amazing place when it comes to ambience do visit whenever u get a chance.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to go in, we were pleasantly surprised, the rooftop gives a skyline view of udaipur and is amazing. We ordered the cream of spinach soup, which was very creamy and buttery, hakka noodles and pan biryani.The pan biryani was our favorite, it was well spiced and made to perfection, the servers were very attentive of our needs and overall a nice experience,worth a second visit for both the food and the view.

Enigma is a wonderful restaurant located near Fateh Sagar Lake. It is divided into three floors - each having a different and magnificent decor. During my trip to Udaipur, I visited this restaurant and tried a few dishes.<br/><br/>From the starters, I loved the Crispy Fried Calamari, Galawati Kebabs and Tandoori Kadak Nath. They were great. The Kebabs were delicious.<br/><br/>From the main course, the naan went well with Malabar Fish Curry and Jungle Maas. The food was great. After an hour of strolling in the noon sun, we finally came across this place and decided to pay a visit as it is one of the much-hyped places in the city. Although we didn't have a lot of options to choose from, since we went during the odd hours, we could still fish out dishes from the menu to dig in. Food was delicious, but not the best, Virgin mojito was a little too sweet so I'd recommend you ask your attendant to take care of that if you're not too much of a sweet toothed person. Chocolate shake was good. Pizza and pasta were good too and the garlic bread was extremely well made so a 5/5 there! Roasted chicken was good, but I've had better. Decor is a total eye catcher! Staff is courteous.

We visited here at evening and the staff was utmost courteous to our requirements and very polite. great ambience and beautiful terrace view. Chipotle was very tasty.

The service is extremely poor. It took 1 hour for a simple order to be given to us and that too after much hassles with the waiters. People who came after us were served much earlier and by the time they were leaving, we had just finished our food. They lure you with the ambience but the service and attitude is TRASH. NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE GOING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. Do not count on it..

This particular restaurant is my go to place for dinners. It has an indoor dining place, an outdoor and a rooftop. I would really prefer the chicken- cheese burger for all the non vegetarians out there. A romantic as well as a family restaurant, it has a unique atmosphere. It has gained much popularity for its interiors and over the top dining experience. One of the finest and beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. Totally mesmerized by the view from the rooftop and specially the ambience there was class apart.<br/>Kudos to the team and the very courteous staff for serving such great food. I do not like to give this review but I’m forced to do it. Worst food and last grade service which includes all the staff including the managers. Managers are worst of all. With the pansy attitude. They believe that they are the owner of the place but they forget that they are nothing but just a service provider. They do not know what is hospitality in the first place. Such employees should not be hired on the first place. After having diner at Enigma my Father and mother in law including me and my wife suffered from Diarrhea the very next following morning. One of the fewest places in udaipur which gives you the city from that top. Perfect place to unwind the evening. One must visit during sunset as one can enjoy both day and night view. Ample of seating and it also has closed space sitting with royal interiors. Service is good with portion size of the food. Little expensive but worth it. Ordered mexican veg sizzler and kebabs but were good.

I love mexican food but its very difficult to find good and authentic mexican food here in Udaipur. My search is finally over! We tried the veg and the chicken tacos but we preferred the veg one. Tacos typically come in 2 forms, soft shell tacos and hard shell tacos and these ones were the hard shell tacos. It was loaded with beans which were lightly spiced and some bell peppers, onion and tomatoes and then topped with lettuce and some cheese. It was served with 3 perfect accompaniments which were guacamole, sour cream and Pico de Gallo which is a kind of salsa. If your a 🌮 lover like me you have to try it. We also tried the Indo-Asian chilly chicken which was super yummy but not for the faint hearted coz its super spicy😛 Also tried Chimichanga which is basically a deep fried burrito🌯. This one was stuffed with chicken, vegetables, beans, spices and served with sour cream, guacamole and salsa. It was very generously stuffed. I would have liked the outer layer to be a little more crispy but otherwise the flavours were just bang on. It was delectable!The ambience of this restaurant is amazing and I loved the rooftop seating. We reached in time for sunset so it was gorgeous. They have a massive menu which comprises of north indian, Rajasthani cuisine, oriental, mexican, italian and continental too..Also love their chicken lababdar and Indiana chicken tikka sandwich

Went there for dinner in February this year. Overall, nice ambience and setting but food and service left a lot to be desired. Not kid friendly seating and no provision for baby chairs etc. Since we had 2 kids with us, it was a bit of a struggle to manage. Servers did not have any understanding of the menu, food took time to come and was just about ok. We also ordered a dessert which was brought to us burnt and we had to return it. They even said this is how it is served!!! They took even longer to bring another one to us and almost completely forgot the coffee we’d ordered. In the end we just got frustrated, paid and left without eating the dessert.

Enigma fine dine is one of the best lake view rooftop restro in udaipur...few days back we went to this place for dinner...loved the ambience of this place...we had vegetarian platter, panchmel dal, lahsuni corn palak with some assorted breads over there....food was good, but the panchmel dal & chilly laccha paratha was the best among all....

Ambience: unique and exotic theme. The dim light, City Palace and lake Pichola view makes it even more beautiful.<br/><br/>Food: quite exhaustive list. Non veg here is quite awesome specially in Rajasthani section especially shikari ka bater. Even fish items here are good. Can't comment on veg section as never tried it because non veg is so good.<br/><br/>Service is little slow, but the ambience is so awesome that you would not mind it. Mocktails are decent.<br/><br/>Overall a nice place and worth going. Have been there for three times always loved it.
