Review Kabab Mistri Restaurant - Udaipur

A quiet famous traditional hotels of Udaipur. Had a great time there. Food cooked in authentic Rajasthani style. Enjoy folk music in the evening with some loving view from the top of the hotel. A must recommended place to visit.

I went there with thoughts about vegetarian food.... But they completely astonished me! The staff is really very friendly and quick, you'll never have to ask again, they serve as if you really are their personal guests....hats off to them Secondly the food..... From the soup to the starters to the main course to the dessert everything was up to the mark, it is a long time since I've been sooo satisfied with the meal i had! The soups were perfect, the tikkas were soft,smoky and delicious just perfect, In the main course we had a paneer preparation and dal tadka which were exactly how they are supposed to be, there was pineapple raita too They served us proper salad. The biryani was tasty, and In dessert we had Vanilla ice cream with a hint of rose, topped with pistachios and gulab jamuna on the side! Everyone loved the food and had a really great time, as the ambience was very well presented and also heaters were there to keep u warm on a winter night. It was a delight in every bite. I would highly recommend it

We were treated to a trip to Kabab Mistri. Sitting outside being entertained by live musicians was a real pleasure and with food that was tasty and plentiful. They offer particularly good food that can enlighten the soul. Service was good too. A very nice place to go would recommend it.

Totally delicious food, ambience and service...the slightly colonial feel of the building made sitting outside for drinks after the meal a real pleasure. There were some larger groups there whilst we ate, but it didn't detract from our service or speed of food arriving. Great place to visit

Visited after looking for a nice non-vegetarian restaurant in Udaipur. Most of reviews said that it's one of best non-vegetarian restaurants in Udaipur and hence took this option. Food was nice especially the Tikka and biriyani we ordered though the foods are on the hotter side so unless you want really hot & spicy, let know when you place order! Ambience and staff is pretty nice and would recommend to try the outdoor seating at evening hours.

I have been very regular to Kabab Mistri and its one of the really good restaurant of Udaipur. Kebabs are good when compared to other restaurants in the city but I didnt find the wow factor. The food quality was better when it opened up but now they have started taking shortcuts and the quality has deteriorated. They are short on staff so the service is really slow specially on a weekend. Only 2-3 non-veg kebabs are worth trying. Sea food is a complete NO NO. Non-Veg main course is average. The vegetarian dishes are just "better than other restaurants". Dishes worth trying : Barabanki kofta, crispy corn with spinach, crispy lotus stem, dal makhni, rose petal ice cream,

I tried several restaurants here, 1995 ad, upre, Baro masi but the food which I had here was yumm. <br/>It’s cost friendly, good portion too. <br/>The staff is also very helpful and served us very well. <br/>

If you want to have sumptuous Rajasthani/Non veg food, Kabab Mistri is your go to! <br/><br/>Also, definitely meet Jagdish, a staff member. Went there on 17th feb 2020 for lunch. Had the kebab mistri special non veg sizzling platter and biriyani. The sizzler kebab platter was dry to the utmost. The biriyani was not a biriyani but a child playing tantrum with the dish. You will find bell pepper and extra spices added in it. But my dear cook, biriyani is a mughlai dish and not Chinese. Adding extra spices does not make it taste good. One could only taste fried and burnt onions and bell pepper and spices in it. Biriyani is supposed to have the flavour of a little bit of kesar and kewra water and a bit of rose water. Giving you guys a 1star in the review since 0 star is not an option. For anyone visiting Udaipur, if you want to have your food with a view of sajjangarh fort, you can go here. It has lovely view. But the food price vs quantity and quality is completely unfair. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Service was good(special mention to jagadeesh). Ambience was good. Most of the food items we have ordered are good. A bit expensive for food items.

Jagdish, our steward, was an excellent host. The food and ambience was great! Do try out the Rose Petal Ice Cream and Barah Banki Kofte for sure.

We visited this restaurant, Kabab Mistri last night.<br/>Food was amazing<br/>We first order starters with punkhudi murg and fish mughlai Tikka. Service by HiraLal and Jagdish.<br/>Starters were awesome and taste was perfect.<br/>Then we ordered main course (butter Chicken)<br/>Personal favorite 😉.<br/>The taste of the food was Soo Soo good.<br/>We would love to visit again and have this experience again ❤️

Kadai chicken was just okay and not a little bit spicy. I was expecting it to be more spicy as mentioned in the menu. Quantity was too low. Not as per my expectation !!

It was my first time in Udaipur and I decided to eat at Kabab Mistry. Pushkar ji was extremely courteous throughout the dinner experience. The service was super quick and the food was full of flavours plus the meal was easy on the pocket. Would definitely recommend.

Best managed service from Mr. Bansi, Mr Jagdish and best part was Birthday celebration with gazals.

Mutton chapli kabab, Bharwan tandoori murg egg, bistro shot, ghar ki murgi. Chili cheese garlic naan. Mr. Nandu Devashi Jagdesh. The kebabs were tender, moist and perfectly flavored and better complimented by the mint and tomato chutneys. The tandoori murg egg was filled with a spicy minced chicken mix that melted perfectly into my mouth. The bistro shot was a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy. The chicken curry was also incredible with the chili naan.
