Overall food quality is very good - 4/5 Jain food quality is very good - 5/5 Pizza quality is not up to the mark 3/5

We went here based on reviews but had very low expectations regarding the taste, but once the first order arrived and we had our first bite..we just loved the taste and eventually tried a few extra dishes and all were exceptionally delicious. We loved the taste of sambhar so much that we enquired the chef of the recipe and to our surprise we got to know that they even sell their sambhar masala in the store and ended up buying it and few other packets!! Great experience indeed.

Food and ambience is good Price is a bit high Even with a dosa you have to pay extra 20₹for the bhaji(aloo)

One thing I don't get is why they add green chutney in mysore dosa. Overall food is great.

This one of the best south Indian food restaurant chains in Udaipur. It has great variety. Service is quick. Recently i tried a new dish - Idli Butter Podi, it was just yummy. And i always complete my eating by take a filter coffee.

They serve very tasty and best quality south Indian food. Must visit of you like south indian food. Also had ice cream options. There is 10-15 mins wait time during weekends and public holidays. Overall very good place to eat out. We also had sizzling brownie for a dessert which tasted fine.

Disgusting experience Sambhar was not at all tasty. Quality had found really bad. I will not all recommend this place for having your meal. This was the last visit experience that I had Nice place to dine in. Enjoyed every bit of food, it was delicious as well as well prepared. Dosa was crisp and crunchy. The good quality is superb.

Here I Had The Best South Indian Food Of My Life . I have tried paper masala dosa , idli sambhar and uttapam and everything was worth it.The test is way better than I have expected especially their Sambhar....it is so tasty. The Service was quick with a supportive staff . Talking about the ambience it was good too. More info about Sankalp : Their first ground restaurant was opened at Ahmedabad in 1980 with the inherent desire to give the customer authentic south Indian taste and they are continuing serving in 7 countries and they are having a 2 world record on their name. Food chain for its best variety southindian food, quick service and ending with filter ☕coffee(somehow I didn't find it🙃 great). The place where you pay for service and brand but that's Sankalp for you. Sam's pizza 🍕 is also decent but it's way lower than any other pizza speciality in terms of taste. Accepts cards to major mobile wallets being accepted but not in diners passport list.

Amazing South Indian food we had here. The variety of Dosas and Uttapam here are amazing, and they tasted good. Very much likable. Over-all a definite recommended options in my goto Udaipur eateries. We tried Idly and Medu Vada Combo, Cut Masala Dosa and Cheese Chilie Uttapam along with fresh Mausami Juice and Filter Coffee.

Fantastic South Indian food. 1. Food: 5/5 Taste, quantity, quality and authenticity are all perfect. They have perfected the South Indian delicacies keeping the authenticity in-tact. Dosas are of good size. 2. Ambience: 4/5 The tables are good for family seating of 4-5. Decent plain wall decorations. Earlier they were using silver cutlery but now only some of the serving dishes are of silver. 3. Service: 5/5 Good service time of 10-15 minutes. The staff is courteous and professional. We asked them to serve masala separately, make the dosa more crispy and add-on cheese. They did this customisation as well. They are knowledgeable about what they are serving.

Amazing flavours that tastes straight out of South India. If you are a fan of authentic Dosa then you should check out this place for sure. Specially - Kura mura dosa is a must try (Or kora mora I am not 100% sure about the name but it tastes heavenly ❣️)

Sankalp is perfect for South Indian breakfast when u r in Udaipur. They have different types of dosa's idli vada and many more south Indian delicacies. I had masala dosa and onion masala dosa with rava Kesari which is a South Indian halwa. Price can be better but Quantity of food is good as well as hygeine is upto the mark.<br/>

We had IDLI, WADA, Onion Dosa and Chettinad Dosa. All were delicious and authentic dishes. The variety of Chutneys were awesome and increased the taste of the food.

One of the only places in Udaipur to have good South Indian cuisine. The restaurant would've deserved a 5-star rating but for its over pricing. The food is very tasty, especially the platter of chutneys they present you with. Every bite is a different flavour profile and you feel as if you're eating something new.

Basically a franchise from Ahmedabad, sankalp is a famous brand and specialises in serving South Indian food. Here you also get pizza's. The quality is fairly good and quantity pretty reasonable for the price charged.

This restaurant is my go to place for south Indian food in Udaipur. We had the Cheese Madurai Sandwich Uthappa. It was like 2 pieces of utappam stuffed with a south Indian mixed vegetable masala which had a nice flavour and loaded with cheese on the top😋 as you can see in the pic. It was quite delicious. We also tried the Mysore Chatpata Dosa which was perfectly cooked just the way I like my dosa and it was stuffed with a nice chutney and the aloo masala was also yummy. I ended my meal with a filter coffee there coz how can you not? It was pretty authentic and they served it the same way you get it in the south. Now coming to the main reasons why I love this place is coz they serve four different kinds of chutneys as you can see in the pic. My favourites are the coconut and the garlic chutney. They are very generous with their sambar servings as well.

Authentic place for south indian snacks and breakfast. Polite and in time serving. Price a little higher side other than that food is delicious and ambiance is very good. Hot chocolate is really good one and must try.

Oh Ya I had been in Sankalp Udaipur a long way ago and ya twice! One of the best sankalp's outlet in Rajasthan. Yes I had tried every cutie's Sankalp restaurant but this is the place where the original cousin is served. Please have a visit.

My Favourite Favourite And Favourite place for South Indian Cuisine!!! I don’t even remember how many times I’ve been here and It’s Just Superb everytime. The food is worth every single penny and you won’t mind waiting for your table at all once you eat ! Favourite picks is the Cheese Masala Dosa and Rasam!! Sambhar is utterly delicious and not to forget those chutneys. For starters definitely order that masala papad Coz it’s just refreshing! Totally the best place for food in Udaipur.

After fantastic experience at Ahmedabad, we went there. Quality is not as good as Ahmedabad. Stuffing was not proper. Unlike Ahmedabad, they did not provide chutney bowl. In Udaipur, all the restaurants serve you mineral water unless explicitly requested regular water.

In Comparison with Ahmedabad Sankalp very disappointed. Masala dosa stuffing was not fresh. Dosa and uttapam was not up to the mark. Overall do not try Sankalp outside Ahmedabad.

We ordered Jain pulao and Veg Bisi Bella bath. We really enjoyed the taste of the food. Also the quality was better and justifies the price.<br/><br/>We went there again to have idli, uthapa and dosa for breakfast. I totally recommend this place for South Indian food.

Pure taste of South indian As they say! I just loved the Food. The mysore Malasa Dosa and Masala Dosa both tasted well and this place is Very convenient for tourists too as it's located in udaipole.

We ordered medu vada and it felt as if the bater was 2 days old and wada was slightly sour in taste. The filter coffee is Rs. 75 and they quantity was quite less. Not recommended.

Food is good, atmosphere is good but service is not good, manager was very rude. We asked him change the cold dosa then he replied to order some other dosa, later he changed it and said check whether it’s hot or not.

Worst dining experience ever,<br/>If you don't wanna get sick stear clear of this restraunt.<br/>To start of I ordered a Dosa (that was chef's special), it was brought within a minute. I think they Microwaved it or something.<br/>To top it all while I was eating i saw a 12inch mouse roaming about the establishment. That mouse was under the table of some couple and everyone ignored it as if its not such a big deal. I guess udaipur has pretty low hygiene standards.<br/>It does not end there, while I was going towards washroom door a frog popped in front of me.<br/>So if you are into frogs and mouse please give this place a visit.

Had been with my wife, we took onion dosa and ghee roast dosa. Being from south we dint like the taste of both the dosas much. That was a shocker. Not worth the money at all.

Sankalp is my favourite place in Udaipur. Order any dish, You won't be disappointed. Dosa's are awesome here. They started pizza also which isuch better than Domino's and pizza hut

Quality is extremely worst now and nor even worth. Pizza like chapati and dosa was not crispy and even amy other food was not well. We were expecting some nice but finally found it was biggest mistake to use this restaurant.

Located in the city centre, this place is definitely a must go for those who absolutely love South Indian food. The taste and quality of food is always up to the mark along with it's presentation. Looking for nest south indian food, sankalp should be your one and only choice. I pay a visit once or even twice a month. The dosa and idli are good but the sambhar is amazing, and to compliment them they have 3 types of chutneys. Usually there is rush during weekends but you wont have to wait more than 15 mins for your order to appear on your table. Good Service, nice ambience, there is a bit problem regarding the parking, but for a good meal it is worth the effort.

Cheaters,fraud liers are the only words that I can describe to them I'd been there a month back the bill was around rs.800 I had paid through my debit card after swiping my first time I recived a message in my mobile tat amt has been deducted I told the cashier but he not he dint receive any messages so he forced me to swipe it twice he told by chance if was swiped twice I ll refund it in 24hours I asked owner also he too said same thing so I believed & left the hotel after 15days also they haven't returned my money back just because I was a tourist from south India they know I won't go their hotel back.

There aren't many options for South indian food in udaipur so if you are looking for some there is a high chance that you'll end up here due to its obvious location. To sum up this restaurant in a sentence..a gujju guy trying to sell you south indian food in fancy looking dishes in rajasthan at continental prices. So if you are a tourist you might wanna curb your urge for dosa here in udaipur.

The south indian food here is just mediocre and there is nothing special about it. I have been to Sankalp in Vadodara and the food quality was really great. The Udaipur restaurant needs to put in more effort to be at par with its other franchises.

Dosa Dosa Dosa <br/>South Indian is one of my fav cuisines and they have served it very good. <br/>I am a big fan of Sankalp and I love this place <br/>They serve you water in chandi ka glass <br/>Food Ek No <br/>Ambience Aur accha kr sakte ho <br/>Service Kaafi acchi hai !

Always a South Indian fan. But this time has some unusual experience at Sankalp , Udaipur. <br/>This restaurant is situated at heart of the city. Very convenient for fellow travelers who are visiting this city or returning back after a memorable trip & experience. <br/>Tried KaraMura dosa which was great as usual. <br/>Sankalp in Udaipur operates along with in collaboration of Sam pizza franchisee. <br/>The waiter handover both the menu in a go so that customer can have both the options. Food is mostly best at any Sankalp. <br/>So time for the interesting thing which happened today was POWER CUT OFF. We went to this restaurant at 8 in eve. Although it seems a normal incident but soon we realized that there is no power back up and all the customers sitting in there almost waited for 20 minutes. While the restaurant owner was puzzled & working hard on resolving this issue.<br/>But can you imagine a uncertain POWER CUT at brand franchisee like SANKALP. That isn't appreciable in any case as long as reputed food outlet is involved. Action is required to be taken for the inconvenience caused to guests. Entire food experience was good but power cut made my dinner a horrible experience.

First off, it's overpriced. Grossly overpriced for a South Indian restaurant. It coated us 750 bucks for about 5 dishes(yes that's costly for a South Indian restaurant). Very very slow service. I got my dosa after a 20 minute wait. That too when there was no rush. So, do not go here if you're really hungry and want food fast. Coming to the food itself, above average. Nothing too special. The paneer dosa is good. Overall, it's a strictly average experience.

Nice restaurant. .. good management .... one of the good south indian restaurants chain in Udaipur .... already people know this chain very well... Udaipur people should try this once

This is one of the best south indian in Udaipur.<br/>It's really good.<br/>Yes its on the higher side of your pocket, but surely good experience.<br/><br/>Bad parking area, so go by taxi or two wheeler.<br/>

This place is one of the best places for south indian foodies at Udaipur. The ambience is nice except if your seats are near the restroom & kitchen!<br/>The sambhar here is thee best and around every dish is good and I don't know why here are so many bad reviews! Whether it's the plain masala dosa or the crispy rawa dosa or the onion utthappam, all tasted well. I am forgetting one name but it was kids special or sankalp special which includes three small different dosa's(paneer dosa, achari dosa, mix veg dosa) and it was good too except one thing that it was bit oily. And at the end of your meal, they give you a cool coconut paan as a complementary which is exceptionally good and I love that!<br/>Also, if anyone from your friends or family doesn't like dosa then they also have Uncle Sam's Pizza attached with the restaurant for such people so they can enjoy the pizza and you can enjoy the dosa! Hehe!

Fortunately, I didn't have as bad experience as my other zomato friends here.<br/><br/>We ordered :<br/><br/>Mysore Masala Dosa : 3.5/5<br/>Meduwada : 3.5/5<br/><br/>Overall I won't say best of experience, but I would not hesitate to go again here.

Landed here as we are familiar with Sankalp in Ahmedabad. But everything is entirely different to its counterpart in Ahmedabad. <br/><br/>The ambience is good and is as expected. We had ordered major south indian dish like Idli, Dosa and Coffee. The food is too bad. In Udaipur, we don't except authentic tasty food but atleast it should be eatable. Needs lot of improvement. <br/><br/><br/><br/>

For south indian food lovers....this is the place...gud ambience and so is the food..i have visited this resturant 4 times and not once i have been disappointed. I personally recommend Schezwan dosa...awesome

I visited this place 1 year back. This restaurant serves authentic south Indian breakfast. But the rates were too high. Sambar felt like chennai flavour. serving time was more.

I liked this place. Very fine south indian dish are served. I tried (though accidently) their most simple preparation and their signature preparation as well and liked both. Staff are very polite and service provided is also good.

Ambience is OK..Service is Good. Prices are High..Food is not that good. Taste is nowhere nearer to the southindian food. <br/>Not recommended.!!

Worst south indian food I've ever had. They don't know how to cook good food. They should learn that from a book saying "south indian food for dummies".<br/>My suggestions... Don't spoil your mood going inside there otherwise even God can't help you! <br/>

One of the worst experience which I had in my life. The staff is not supportive enough and personally I don't like what they serve me. My past experience was very bad with these food chain.
